Internet videos do not load

I have an imac with OS X version 10.5.4 and only recently I have not been able to watch any video on my computer. Sites like youtube will have a blank screen where the video is supposed to be. There is no spinning ball or signs that the video loading is just going slow. I downloaded and installed the latest adobe flash drive and that did not help. My internet also seems to be going slower. Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem on my Macbook Air. No video will display (YouTube, CNN, Apple Movie Trailers). For the past couple weeks, it would start playing the video for 2-3 seconds then stop. I could drag the timeline slider to different parts of the video and it would play from that point for 2-3 seconds, then stop.
Now no video displays at all.
I've installed all the latest updates. Running Safari Version 3.1.2 (5525.20.1).
Anyone know how to fix this?

I am adding the mp4 video within the Indesign 6.0 and when I convert the same into the interactive PDF format but video are not loading at all in iPad. I have added the custom HTML tag as object but still its negative results.

Not all readers on an iPad can show video! In fact Adobe Reader cannot! You must third-party apps. The best is PDF Expert from Readdle (US $10).

I was refering to the "sample rate", normally 44.1 KHz, the iPod might not be able to play tracks with a non-standard rate. Otherwise I'm not sure what the issue might be.

You can always deauthorize all your machines from your store account page — just log in and view your account settings and there's a button to deauth all your machines. Which just means for the other machines, it will ask you for your store ID / password the next time you play a purchased song.
So, let's try the filter experiment.
On the start menu, click on "run". in the space it provides enter "regedit" without the quotes. This will open the registry editor.
Find the heading HKEYLOCALMACHINE. Click on it.
Find the heading SYSTEM inside it. Click on it.
Find the heading CurrentControlSet. Click
Find the heading Control. Click
Find the heading Class. Click
Find the heading that begins {4D36E965- Click
Go up to the Registry menu and select "Export Registry File... command. Make sure the "Selected Branch" radio button is checked and save that off somewhere that you can find it.
Delete the key named LowerFilter.
Select the key named UpperFilter, right click, select "modify". Then edit the text in the dialog to just say "GEARAspiWDM" followed by hitting the return key, the return after the word is important.
Then reboot, and see what iTunes does.
To get the system back to its previous state. Run Regedit again and use the Registry menu -> Import Registry File... command and select the file that you saved off in the first section.
I'm particularly interested in getting rid of the "AFS2K" driver in the chain — that's a old driver from a company that hasn't existed in years.
To answer your last question, why am I doing this?... I'm paying off a karmic debt. And someday we'll start that Tequila for Toonz paypal account and then I'll be set.

my internet explorer will not load, i just get a spinning beachball and could anyone have any suggestions as my dvd i purchased mastering os x panther requires ie. thank you gb foley.

Just use a different browser. Are the files on the DVD just HTML files? If so, then right click on the HTMl file (Control-Click if you don't have a two button mouse) and pick Open With... and point it to another browser. Firefox, Camino (what I currently use), Opera, etc.

I have fod this to be the case in several website...in Safari the video will not load...if I switch to Chrome....the vieos load with out any issues...

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

This is happening for us too. I have checked the internet connection, restarted the Apple TV and nothing works.

I am experiencing the same problem.. im using a z10 and only youtube isnt working... the wifi network connection is fine as the youtube videos are playing in other phones..non blackberry as well as blackberry curve 9360.. the problem is only with my z10.

Flash Videos do not load

I have the following system:
Windows 7 Professional
All up to date updates
Flash player: 11.9.900.152
I want to use google chrome as my main browser- **but let me be clear this issue also happens in the updated IE**
I have updated everything possible, cleared the cache and cookies, turned the windows firewall off, disabled the chrome built in player, disabled every pluggin, tried them one by one, turned off the pop up blocker, tried making exceptions in the pop up blocker and still nothing.
The odd youtube video will play which makes it even more mind boggling...

Video fails to load on 100% of embedded-video pages, on every video in the YouTube app, the Vimeo app, the Dailymotion app. Video fails to load on news sites, such as BBC -- which is not a YouTube site, and others like LiveLeak.
Vine app works, so I can shoot video and view. Could be a video format/filetype issue.
My iPhone DID load video at Starbucks, where I went to test it, but not on my home network. However, my girlfriend, whose iPhone 5 continues to run on iOS 6 has no problem with video on the same home network. My Macbook Pro loads video on the home network.

Macbook Pro Flash videos will not load on any browser?

On my macbook pro all of a sudden all flash based videos such as youtube will not load and freeze before they are loaded. IT does not work on safari, chrome, or firefox. have uninstalled and reinstalled flash. Used Disk utility. Empted cache. Any idea what is wrong? This problem just started this week. Internet connection is good.

Videos will not load in Firefox only. Have reinstalled, restored, etc.

Videos (from YouTube, Facebook, websites, etc.) will not load in Firefox. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, restoring all settings to default, disabling all addons, extensions, etc. When I try to load a video, a dark rectangle appears where the video should and my cursor just shakes. In Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc. the videos load and play with no problems, no hesitation, so it must be some setting or some bad file with Firefox, but I feel like I've tried everything.
I'm using Windows 7 on an HP laptop. I've checked my Firefox settings against those on my desktop PC and can find no variances. This problem is driving me mad, so please help.....

Hello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
