Potential blocker (pid=9871) on resource TX-0019001D-000037FF
DUMP LOCAL BLOCKER: initiate state dump for TIMEOUT
possible owner[18.9871]
Submitting asynchronized dump request [28]

the "Potential blocker (pid=9871) on resource TX-0019001D-000037FF" part in the logfile caught my attention and I was not sure it's a block or enqueue contention.
The database instance is the only running instance in a 3 node RAC and I was wondering how it still may be affected by enque process?
Any suggestion will be welcome!

  • How to Append Date to Export Dump file name

    hi everyone,
    This is 10g on Windows.
I want my dump file name to reflect the date it was ran on. I'm using the Job Scheduler tool in Database Control.
So when I try EXPSSU%date.DMP as the dump file name, I get error "dump file name "EXPSSU%d.DMP" contains an invalid substitution variable ."
what is the correct syntax? I dont care about the formatting of the date - whatever the default is will be OK.
    Thanks, John

i have the same problem, any one have the solution?!?!??!

  • Impdp in RAC : can not specify dump file in node 1

    I have oracle cluster RAC in 2 nodes : rac1, rac2.
I have created directory in 2 nodes, and copied file dump to directory of rac1.
When i run impdp from rac1, the impdp did not use file dump in rac1, it found file dump in rac2, so it thrown error : ORA-39000: bad dump file specification
ORA-31640: unable to open dump file "/u01/datapump/aa.DMP" for read
ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory.
I must copied file dump to rac2, the impdp run normally.
What the master with cluster RAC, how to config RAC so the impdp read file dump in login node.

File dump has been exported in another standalone server.
I create dir in OS level first then create dir in database, then copy file pump.
I think this problem relate to config in oracle cluster, the impdp is not check file dump in 2 nodes.
I found this problem when I not create the datapump in rac2. It allways return the error log file create fail. I must created datapump dir in rac2, then impdp just used path in rac2, file log was created in rac2, impdp not use datapump in rac1.

  • Error while importing dump file to Oracle server

    Hi All,
I'm pretty new to Oracle and I need to do the following job:
    - import data from dump file to Oracle server
    - then export it into CSV format to load to our web system
Oracle dump file is called EXPDAT.DMP and it is placed in the default location, so no need to specify it. Here I'm trying to do the 1st step:
    impdp SYSTEM/XXXXXX REMAP_SCHEMA=DATA01:SYSTEM
And then I'm getting the following errors:
Connected to: Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
    Master table "SYSTEM"."SYS_IMPORT_FULL_01" successfully loaded/unloaded
    Starting "SYSTEM"."SYS_IMPORT_FULL_01": SYSTEM/******** REMAP_SCHEMA=DATA01:SYSTEM
    Processing object type TABLE_EXPORT/TABLE/TABLE
ORA-39083: Object type TABLE failed to create with error:
ORA-00959: tablespace 'K_DATA' does not exist
But tablespace 'K_DATA' exists in Oracle database (I've created it manually). What does it mean? Is it a permission issue? Or may be there is more simple way to accomplish my task? Please help me! Thank you!

Create the user DATA01 in your database, with sufficient quota on tablespace K_DATA. DO NOT import another schema's objects into SYSTEM. If you must REMAP_SCHEMA to something other than DATA01, create a user other than SYSTEM to receive it.

  • I am getting an error ORA-39143 when importing a dump file

I get ORA-39143: dump file "c:\oraload\expdat.dmp" may be an original export dump file
when importing a dump file created by 9.2 exp into 10.2 database using impdp
I need to use the impdp utility with the table_exists_action option which doesn't appear to exist in imp
What is the proper mix of versions/flags/options to export from a 9.2 database and import into an existing 10.2 database while replacing existing data?
    thanks

well its on the link i provided
"When tables are manually created before data is imported, the CREATE TABLE statement in the export dump file will fail because the table already exists. To avoid this failure and continue loading data into the table, set the import parameter IGNORE=y. Otherwise, no data will be loaded into the table because of the table creation error."
original import tries to append (insert)
there is no parameter here like table_exists_action=truncate/replace
    1. drop all the tables (dynamic sql), so there will be no errors because of already existent tables
    or
    2. truncate all the tables (dynamic sql) + use IGNORE=Y
    (or
    3. drop the whole schema in target database, recreate it, then do the import)

  • "SP2-0734: unknown command..." error while importing a dump file

    hello,
i want to import a dump file into my database named orcl, and i come accross the same error after executing the import command. my import command is:
    SQL> imp mvdemo/mvdemo file=mvdemo.dmp full=y ignore=y
i use oracle 10g enterprise edition.
    i created the user mvdemo/mvdemo.
the error i see in my screen is:
SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "imp mvde..." - rest of line ignored.
for a long period of time, i havent used oracle dbms. before, i remember that i used enterprise manager in import/export processes. however, i am not able to find the enterprise manager in 10g options now. do i have to install the enterprise manager seperately in oracle 10g enterprise edition? may this problem be relational with this matter?
if someone could answer, i would be greatful.
    best regards

Import is run from the command prompt, not the SQL prompt.

  • Error during dump file Import  from 11g DB into XE database

    Hi ,
I have a dump file exported from a 11g database. First i imported this dump file into another 11gdb test database and it worked fine.
Later i tried to import it into an XE database. But import completed with error message as shown below. This error message appeared only for few tables.
IMP-00015: following statement failed because the object already exists:
Note - I created a new schema in XE database and tried to import the dump into this schema. So there is no chance for the object to exist before the import operation.
Does anyone have any idea why import in XE fails? Is there any limitation/restriction in XE?
FYI - All the tables that failed to import contains LOB data in it. Is LOB datatype is not supported in XE? Does this cause the problem during import?
    Regards,
    Ashok Kumar.G

Going from 11g to XE(10g) is problematic for two reasons 1st - 11g exports not necessarily compatible with an earlier version and 2nd I have found that in some cases 11g exports can have problems when importing back into another 11g(11.1.0.7) instance due to stack overruns whereas an 10g export to 11g normally works fine..

  • Error when trying SHOW=Y on dump file

    Hi All,
Source: Oracle 10G on Windows 2003
    Target: Oracle 11G r2 on Windows 2008 R2
I have a dump file created from the source as :
    exp 'sys/password@production as sysdba' file=F:\Export\mmsprd.dmp full=yes log=F:\Export\mmsprd.logAfter doing:
imp 'sys/password@production as sysdba' file=F:\ORACLEDUMP\mmsprd.dmp log=F:\ORACLEDUMP\mmsprd_import.log full=y ignore=y commit=y buffer=60000000I realize that 1300+ views are missing for a certain schema - the import log file shows that it did import x number of views for that schema but doesn't have any entries for the missing ones.
So now i want to check if the mmsprd.dmp file i've created in the xport actually has those missing views.
So, on the target machine, i try:
    imp sys/manager SHOW=Y file=mmsprd.DMPBut i get the following error:

IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfullyAny ideas what's wrong? I just want to double-check if my export dump has the missing views and something went wrong during import OR if the export dump didn't have them to begin with.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You just need to say full=y and show=y in the same command line - this won't actually do a full import but it will tell oracle what out of the dumpfile you want to havein the file that show=y will create.

This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault).  The first number in the

traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
    If kv shows a taskGate

Else if kv shows a trapframe
            use .trap on that value
    Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
