Interrupted Jobs while Installing Objects from BI Content

Hi,
       I Can't install any Object that contains a transformation from the Business Content. All jobs get Interrupted generating a Dump, the message of which (through ST22 transaction) is: Assertion_Failed in program CL_RSTRAN_TRFN_VERS===========CP.
    My server configuration is:
                SAP BW --------> 740 SP02.
               BI CONTENT---> 747 SP08.
      I looked the problem in SAP OSS notes, and applied most of "can be implemented " ones but in vain. I need an urgent fix of the problem whitout having to do an upgrade of my BW system.
Does any one of you have an Idea?

In Fact through implementing the Note 1923226 ( apply all the notes included in that note) , and executing the attached program in the note the problem was resolved. The issue was that there were inconsistencies in the versions of the transformation (D,M and A), and once resolved the objects could easily be installed from the BI Content.

Sorry not sure then...
Sometimes the RFC connection is refused and use to give that particular error messgae due to:
The old RFC library having version 6.20 automatically converted the
password into uppercase with a size limit of 8 characters before sending it to the SAP system.
The RFC library version 6.40 does not perform this conversion any more, because mixed case passwords upto 40 characters are now supported by SAP Basis version 7.00 (eg. NW2004s) and above.
So need to use upper case passwords when connecting to an SAP system having version less than 7.00.
But this is not valid in this scenario.

I try to export the Individual object -->Message mapping.
While exporting i unchecked the Option With software component version Defenition.

Error while installing Logic Pro Additional Content HELP!!!!!!!!

Hello, I've recently purchased Logic Pro 9.1.8 from the Appstore on my new MacBook Pro (Mid 2012).
The App installed fine and so did the 2 GB obligatory download on the first launch. But then I downloaded the Logic Pro and Mainstage additional content (4.6
Gb) and then when it started installing, the install window in Logic simply disappeared, I thought it had finished installing, so I checked the Additional content
download menu and it was still unchecked (and without the "Installed" sign on the right). Having copied the package on my external hard drive for backup, I
recopied it on my mac and tried to install, but the installer then displayed the following message: An error occurred while extracting files from the package.
The Log file also included: "The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format."
There isn't an Apple Store in my country.
I'm running on Lion 10.7.5, with 420Gb of free space, please HELP!!!!!!!!

Solved this by downloading the file again.

Problem installing 0SALES_UNIT from Business Content

Dear Friends,
I have tried to install 0SALES_UNIT from the business content but it does not appear under the InfoObjects tab.
What could be the problem?
When i try to install it, the system shows that an active version of the object already exists. I have tried to install it inspite of the existing active version and also get a green signal. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Here is the solution to this problem.
You have successfully activated the infoObject but do not see it under the infoObject list. This happens due to inconsistencies in the RSDIOBCIOBJ table. To solve this error, go to SE37 and execute the RSDG_IOBC_REORG function module. Put in the following parameters.
I_IOBJVERS -
> A
I_PROGRESS -
>
I_IOBJTP -
> *
I_ALL_IOBJ -
> X
I_T_IOBJNM -
>
I_BYPASS_BUFFER-->
Press F8 to execute.
Then go to RSA1 and you should find your infoObject.
Don't forget to assign points!!!

Error while migrating object from PI 7.0 to pi 7.1

Hi All,
I am migrating IR and ID object from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1 using file system.
IR oject got imported sucessfully in ESR but ID after importing when i tried to activate the objects in change list i am facing the following error. Does anyone have any idea about the error.

Check whether the metadata for the particular adapter in the BASIS SWCV exists or not.

Error While Installing AddOns From OfficeStation

Hi,
There is an error that happened while trying to install any AddOn from OfficeStation. OfficeStation is a device that is just similar as if you are using the server, its like sitting on the server machine from a remote desktop, it has all the features as compared to a desktop but physically it does not have a Harddisk and ram. It has a virtual board with a flash memory built in it and can be worked as an individual CPU. And this OfficeStation is connected to the Server and is accessing all the featured and programmes installed on the server including SAP B1. But while installing an AddOn from a OfficeSation it throws an error message box Microsoft VC++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error, Program C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\SAP Business One.exe abnormal program termination
And as you click OK the entire B1 Application terminates at that Station and the next time when you logon at that officestation, it gives you the same error (Message Box) and B1 Application terminates. You can run the same addon and SAP B1 sitting on the server, but now you cannot access SAP B1.
So kindly look into it and get us a correction solution.

Hi, Murtaza!
Have a try to log on to the server from the "OfficeStation" with the user name that you use to log on sitting on the server and when the Addon works.
If it does't help, try to re-install the SBO DI API using the "OfficeStation".
I suppose that solution lies around the security permissions.

UnsupportedOperationException Error while removing object from List

I need to remove a set of objects from List if it contains similar objects as the other one.
Follwing is the code snippet of the above scenario...

selectedPaxList.add("3");

If i do this in java program it executes fine without any error.But if I do the same in JSP I am getting the following error......

That stack trace looks wrong to me.
ArrayList overrides the remove method, so it
shouldn't be using the method in AbstractList. That's what I thought, too. There is either something missing or it's not an ArrayList. In fact the javadoc of AbstractList.remove sais:
"This implementation always throws an UnsupportedOperationException."
So it really looks like another subclass is used.
Also
the object it is trying to remove is a list (from
your exmaple it should be a String)
I could be wrong.These are just the code references not the parameters, I think.

something is wrong with XCode binary provided by App Store. Any solutions for this?

I have downloaded xcode from https://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action and installed it. this fixed the issue.

ClassCastException while passing object from one context to another

I am hoping that someone will bear with me as I think it is my knowledge of classloaders that is tripping me up. I am using Spring and have a SecurityContextImpl object that I want to pass from one web app (WA2) to another web app (WA1). In WA2 I do the following:
ServletContext wa1Context = getServletContext().getContext("WA1");
wa1Context.setAttribute("SPRING_SECURITY_CONTEXT" , SecurityContextImpl);WA1 then tries to get the SPRING_SECURITY_CONTEXT and cast it to a SecurityContext object. This is where I get the ClassCastException. I have:
crossContext="true"in my context.xml fragment. My reading tells me that I may be able to get around this by copying all the spring jars into my Tomcat lib folder but I seem to have to copy so much in there (Spring, hibernate, atomikos etc.) that it does not seem to be a good solution; I gave up before copying all the dependencies it asked for. Is there another way around this problem?
What I really want to do is find an easy way to copy this one object from WA2 into WA1.

Thanks for taking the time to test this. I also tried with a String and was successful but still cannot get it to work with my SecurityContextImpl. I also tried passing a String wrapped in a custom bean with a single string property. I get the same ClassCastException. I think that using a String works because it is native to the JVM and somehow bypasses the class loading issue but as I say, my knowledge of classloaders is null.

Resources have been modified while installing application from windows machine?

Hi,
I am trying to install application from windows machine, but it gives me reources have been modified everytime. Can someone let me know how to avoid this problem?
I have tried the iTuneswork without extension way but still I am getting the same error. I really dont understand what this error is about. It would be really nice of someone to guide me on this.
The OS version on the device is OS 3.0.1 and itunes version on windows is 9.0.2.
Please let me know what this issue is about.

Hi,
Its strange that no one turned with any answers. Anyhow, the issue has mostly been resolved. There are some file names which were getting modified in windows and not in MAC system.
Just in case anyone facing the same issue please check the file name of the resources you added.

I am trying to install the infoObject 0MATERIAL from the business content. After the installation without any error, when I am trying to access the object I get the error: Settings for material number conversion not found

I had even worst problem: I couldn't open 0Material for maintenance. I made a search in a net and found the following:
Load from4.5 failing because of invalid trailing char in Material
In short I made the following:
Executed a report RSCC_V_TMCNV.
After that I was able to change conversion routine in 0material to ALPHA.
That's all.

How to install ODS from Business Content

I would like to know How to install ODS 0CFM_O01 from the Business Content?

Tcode RSA1
Click on Business Content tab on the left side or
use tcode RSORBCT
This would take u to the BI content area
Here click on Object Types
Change the settings on the right most screen according to your requirement
like voodi mentioned for grouping and install
then on the right find Datastore object Technical name ODSO
Click on the on it and hit select objects that appears underneath
A new window will appear here search for 0CFM_O01
and hit Transfer Selections.
Now your selection would appear on the right most column on the workbench
Hit on the check mark icon to activate the business content which is next to grouping and if it is faded try hitting the install button and select install from the list.
