InterUnit Elimination Task not shown in Consolidation Monitor

Dear Experts,
WHile executing The consolidation Monitor for Inter Unit Elimination Task,
I can see the Task at Company Level,, but not at Consolidation Unit Level. Can some one suggest how to resolve that.

Hi Gurus,
We have installed all SAP components in Solaris 10 zones including Solution Manager.
Solaris File Systems are not shown in CCMS Monitoring under FileSystem. It looks like SAPOSCOL is not sending the OS data to CCMS. It does not show file systems in OS06 also.
The probles exists on Systems runnig in Solaris 10 zones only and NOT on systems running on individual Servers. [without Solaris zones]

You need take some special considerations while installing SOLMAN on SOLARIS 10 zones. Check these notes

Communication channels not shown in adapter monitoring

Hello everybody,
we got several communication channels running on the same file-adapter.
But in adapter monitoring only ONE communication channels is shown.
The other communication channels are not shown although we expected them at least with an error.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I think, you have chosen the selection criteria only for the Correct one in the Page.. Check with All information in adapter monitoring screen.
Following will be looked once you don't have any adapters are visible..
Check SAP BASIS Content is imported in the IR or not.

Substitute tasks not shown in UWL but available in SBWP

Hi, I am trying to test substitute functionality in our custom iview. I have added code(available in attached file) in UWL XML which shows Manage Substitution button and substitute tasks are shown in SBWP but not in UWL. What else I need so tasks show up in UWL? Thanks in advance

Problem executing task in consolidation monitor

Hello
I have a small issue i get the following error message when i try to test executing a task in cons monitor for load from data stream
Task 001001 cannot be executed in period 001
Message no. UCS0150
Diagnosis
No method with a period category containing period 001 is assigned to task 001001 in version 111 for the time period 2008/001.
System Response
Task cannot be executed in period 001.
Procedure
If you still want to execute task 001001 in period 001, you need to use period categories that contain period 001 in the customizing settings of the task when you assign a method.
Here I am trying to collect data using Load from Data Stream, I have defined the method and I am able to test the same in consolidation workbench
But the same does not work in consolidation monitor
why??

Now I got the same error message, when executing data collection task in cons monitor.
I did as per inputs provided by you in this thread. But it was not work.
Let us explain what occur in my end is i changes period category in data collection task and then save it. After than I close the session and reopen, what ever i changes earlier was not appearing in my workbench in Data collection task.
Configuration in Data Collection task was:
Cons Freq: Monthly
Period Category: All method follows same method. In this we maintain 1 to 12 periods
Assign method: Depends on Company (I configred data collection method for each company)
Pls provide inputs to resolve

ECCS - consolidation Monitor - Elimination Rev/Exp error

Dear ECCS experts,
When I am runing interunit elimination for revenue/expenses(CX20), I am getting error for cost item being not reflected. e.g
I posted entry as follows
Cost A/c -Dr 1000 (Company ocde 2000)
to Revenue A/c - Cr1000 (C.cd 6000)
When I run interunit elimination for revenue/expenses only Revenue effect is coming and cost a/c effect is missing.
Can anyone tell me what assignment I am missing for this error? or How to resolve this error?

For us to better help, please give specific details of the error that arises upon the execution of the interunit elimination task.
Based on the other information provided it appears that the cost item is not included in the elimination method assigned to the task and it is therefore not eliminated. Please provide details of the method for us to help resolve this. Or, it could be that there is no trading partner for the cost posting, or that the trading partner is not included in the cons group for which the elimination is executed.

It can be accomplished using program UCBATCH00 or UCBATCH01.
I've used UCBATCH00 in several cases.
These programs require variants for each task, version, period and year combination. And, each variant requires a "sub-variant". The sub-variants are not transported and must be created in each system manually.

JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 ADF Library task-flow not shown

At some point, working with that application in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0, I used the deployment profile "adflibTestsInADFLibraryApp-ViewController-dp" to create the ADF Library "adflibTestsInADFLibraryApp-ViewController.jar" wich seemed to have an issue.
When in a File System Connection on the Resource Palette, that ADF Library did not show the task-flow(s) it contained.
But, I can no longer reproduce this. If I now try to do the same, the ADF Library seems to be OK. The only thing I can think of that changed, is that JDeveloper has been restarted (a day later).
Showing both ADF Libraries in File System Connections on the Resource Palette illustrates this

b) Regards the File System Connection in the Resource Palette, are you using an UNC mapping? ...No UNC mapping, just the local file system.

- bug 9340973, "RESOURCE PALETTE FAILURE ON USING NETWORK PATHED FILE CONNECTIONS" (having "Base Bug 12940696" which does not seem to be published)

So, about "I don't think these are related but let's rule them out", I think those are ruled out.

Disable port monitoring task not working

Hi,
On SCOM 2012 SP1 the task "disable port monitoring" is not working. When I run it shows a success message but the port\interface keeps to be monitored on scom, the ports that I'm trying to disable the monitoring are members of the Relay Network
Adapters Group. Is there any way to fix this task or manually stop the monitoring of the port\interface ?

Hi Carlos,
By coincidence I ran into the same problem today.
It can be disabled by creating an override where you target the specific port object and set the parameter enabled=false.
I am not 100% sure this is the correct way but it works. I am assuming the disable port does something similar but I have to open up the task to confirm this.

Reporting interunit elimination documents

I have a problem, I need to do a report with query designer with documents of interunit eliminations of all month from the first consolidation this query will be with the same estructure that a document interunit elimination.

If you have document types configured for automatic inversion, you must use period initialization.
If you do not use automatic inversion document types and therefore do not need period initialization, then you will still see period 000 records with balances for the documents, but the system knows to factor these into the automatic tasks to determine accurate periodic postings for the accurate balances.
For what it is worth, I prefer to avoid this type of document and the period initialization task, and have had success in doing so in many cases. However, the customer enterprise determines whether or not that is the requirement.

Here what really happen when I install the Mozilla Firebox on my La[top you can see the file is there but when I click the program to open its does not shown on the screen but when I check with WTM (Windows Task Manager) its shows that is ON and you can only witness the laptop going very slow and I have to reboot it, and I can not install any other Mozilla :( because of the same problem and all the above.
I really need Mozilla to work as soon as possible due to important deadlines I have pendent, and i can only use Chrome but is not my ideal program. Can you help me , please ?????

SEM-BCS elimination task

Hi experts,
I ran a elimination task for Accounts payable/accounts receivable for my first consolidation period, but account balance for payable is taking the movements for CURRENT YEAR only 34,474.78, is not taking the cumulative balance current year + end balance 2005 -(34,474.78 ) = zero
As a result the elimination identified a difference.
I ran the balance carryforward for 2005 and 2006 without errors o warnings
I don't know how can I fix this.

Consolidation monitor

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with the consolidation monitor. The standard BCS content was activated and the customization was completed. When i run the consolidation monitor, there is no hierachy displayed but the sequence of task heading columns are there. is there any thing that I missed from consolidation workbench? The master data for the consoloidation unit is created in BCS.

- Tasks hierarchy with tasks assigned.-> Tasks hierarchies are created and respective methods are assigned. Here my question is, should i need to assign the task methods to consolidation units during the customization process? If yes where shall i do it please?
- You are trying to see the monitor in the same version and year/period.-> yes this has been checked already
- Cons frequency for versions combinations is set.-> Yes
Actually I am able to see the tasks in the column headings but not the cons unit hierarchies. This seems to be very strange issue. Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

Interunit eliminations in ECCS

Hello Consolidation Guru,
I have a problem with executing inter-unit eliminations in ECCS (transaction CX54). I have set up all the configuration appropriately - Methods, Tasks and Document types, and have specified the FS Items that should be eliminated. Also, I have posted several documents and specified the trading partner in the line item of the relevant accounts.
However, when I execute the elimination transaction CX54 (or using the consolidation monitor), I get the message "No elimination needs to be done for the specified selection."
I feel I have been through each relevant step of the configuration for this to work, but maybe I am missing something. Any ideas will be welcome.

Missing company hierarchy in consolidation monitor

I created a company hierarchy in -Master Data/Consolidation Units/Company- UCWB
Then I go to Monitor UCMON and I cannot see the hierarchy.
I configurated in 2005 period 012 Version 100
I am trying to see the hierarchy in UCMON and I am usint the same time and the same version.
How can I do to see the hierarchy in the monitor....
This is a big problem because I did a task and I cannot execute it because there are not companies in the monitor.

Yes, I create the task hierarchy and task group. In fact, the task folder exist in the monitor. The company hierarchy is the one that I cannot see.
The method apply to all companies.
Is there a place in which I could upload 2 images to show you that I have the company hierarchy in UCWB and I do not have it in the UCMON???
