Hackers can easily break into many accounts just by repeatedly trying common passwords.
It's a well known fact that many people continue to choose weak, easy-to-guess ones, placing themselves at risk from fraud and identity theft.
Ideally, a password should be at least 8 digits long and contain at least one each of the following:  UPPERCASE LETTER, lowercase letter, number and symbol.

    Greetings alex.bonifacio! I'm very sorry that you're having connection problems with your iPhone 5. While would love to help in any way I can, the device must at least be on an active line of service with Verizon Wireless in order for me to be able to make any changes. I must therefore urge you to contact your local wireless carrier for your equipment options. Good luck and thanks!

    It looks like you've already done that - they can take a day or to respond these days I find.

  • On those site asking for your name, address, city, email address, this program would put that info where required. All one had to do was type the first letter or number of the info needed. Is this a Firefox program?

    The program would enter info for me. I only had to type the first letter or number of the info needed. For example, my first name is OSCAR. So, to enter this info in the box marked "First name", I only had to type in the box the letter "O". The program would then type OSCAR. I would then click on the name "OSCAR" and the name OSCAR would be entered in the box asking for my first name. Same with "city", "zip code", "last name", "email address", etc. Is this a Firefox feature??

    That feature would be provided by an add-on for Firefox. The most popular add-on of that type was the Google Toolbar for Firefox, which has been discontinued by Google for Firefox 5 and future versions. <br />

  • HT3228 I am trying to etup Microsoft Exchange for email.  The program asks for your server and I have put in both in and outgoing and neither does the job.

    I am trying to setup email with Microsodt Exchange but have entered both incoming and outgoing server and never works do you have any advice?o

    Your exchange server must be set up to work with ActiveSync.  Ask your IT administrator if they have set up your account properly to use this.  Without it, you will not be able to access email on your iPad. Do it now.

  • Failed iPhone sync as iTunes states random song files "could not be read". I politely ask for your help!

    Hello
    Been having this problem for awhile now:
    When I attempt to sync my iPhone, iTunes will start syncing but after every few songs it syncs, iTunes interrupts the sync with a message saying the file could not be imported since it could not be read. I can go to that song iTunes can't import in my list of music and play it in iTunes and verify that it isn't corrupted.
    Does anyone know what the issue is? Here is what I have tried so far:
    * Restore entire iPhone
    * Remove iTunes and all preferences, re install and re import music library
    * Change file import settings to iTunes Plus AAC conversion (Not sure this even does anything)
    * Manually converting EVERY song (Shift+Clicking) to AAC
    * Attempt to sync music manually (e.g. only checked items)
    The message is as follows: iTunes could not copy "such and such song" to the iPhone because the file could not be read. This error happens with a different song each time I remove the previous one indefinitely, I have over 3000 songs, and it would take me days before I could manually remove each song iTunes deems unworthy of syncing (if at all). And this ONLY happens if I am fortunate enough for iTunes to even attempt to sync the tracks, usually it just skips that step entirely saying it's been completed, with no music actually transferred...
    I am leaving on an international trip soon and I very much want to have hard copies of my music with me, I've been wracking my brain for ages now and haven't been this frustrated since freshmen year of highschool.
    (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
    * iPhone 5S - iOS 7.1.1
    * Windows 8.1
    * iTunes 11.2.2
    TL;DR: Everytime I try to sync my songs onto my iPhone, I get an error message that says "iTunes could not copy "(song name)" to the iPhone because the file could not be read or written." and then it stops syncing completely, so the rest of the songs after that don't get put on my iPhone. File is playable and not corrupt.

    Hi skyvandyk,
    It sounds like one of your music files may have been corrupted at some point and when trying to sync that song the iPhone is unable to do so. I know this must be a frustrating issue for you.
    What I would suggest is that you first attempt to sync your iPhone without that particular song. To do this you will need to manually manage the music that goes to your iPhone. This article will tell you how -
    Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1535
    If the song was purchased from the iTunes store you can delete it and download again at no cost, if it is still available. See this article -
    Download past purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    If the song came from a CD or another source you may have to get it again from that source.
    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • TS1702 what do you do if every time you try to open an app it asks for your password first?

    my apps weren't opening so i went into settings and updated my software it took about half an hour to update and now my apps wont open unless i put in my password for my apple ID account, please help me

    See if this helps.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
    Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in again. See if that cures the problem.

  • I have chg my apple I'd, but it hasn't chg when I try to update my apps, what do I need to do to get it chg on the pop up screen that ask for your password?

    I have changed my ID, but when I go to update my apps my old ID is still there, I have verified my new ID and signed in using it but still showing on app update sign in which is stopping me from getting update, what do I need to do to get it to change?

    Did you create a new account or did you update your existing account ? If you updated your existing account then logging out and back in on the iPad usually 'refreshes' the account on it. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

    Apple has not released the iPhone in Georgia. You therefore purchased an iPhone that was brought into your country without approval from some other country and sold by an unauthorized reseller. There is therefore nothing Apple can do so help you, and other than providing some basic troubleshooting susggestions, nothing any of us can do to help you either. You will need to get your reseller to try and address the problem since there is no authorized service available to you in Georgia.
    Regards.
