Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums and I apologize for the issues with the digital library.  There are simple troubleshooting techniques we offer such as clearing your browsing history, trying a different Internet browser, logging out of your account and back in, and finally you may need to reset your password.

  • Cannot log into Digital Library

    Hello, I have been trying to resolve this problem for several hours now, but have been unable to do so.
    I recently downloaded Test Drive Unlimited 2 Windows Digital Download and received a confirmation email stating that I was now able to enter the Digital Library and access the download.
    However, when I attempted to to log in to Digital Library, my log in information was met with this error report :
    We are combining all Best Buy accounts with BestBuy.com for an improved experience. As part of this process, you
    may need to reset your password.
    The email or password does not match, please try again or reset your password.
    I do not understand what the first part of the error is trying to explain, as I had changed my password several times, each time coming back with the same response. So I reverted back to my old password for the BestBuy.com account and attempted again, generating the exact same response.
    I do know for a fact the log in information I am sending is correct, as it works on the main site, no matter which browser I am using. The Digital Library error also occurs no matter which browser I tested.
    I have searched the forums for an answer, and have found related topics regarding similar situations regarding Digital Library. However, they were either left unanswered, or the problem had been resolved, but when i tried to achieve the same solution, it failed and gave me the exact same error code.
    I also tried Best Buy's troubleshooting guide for this, but to no avail.
    Please respond soon with an answer, or with a better location for me to post this issue.

  • Call of Duty in my digital library isn't appearing t download what am I supposed to do?

    As a gamer myself, when I purchase a new game, I want to be playing it immediately. Just waiting for the game to install is tough enough at times! It sounds like you may not be seeing your Call of Duty purchase in your Digital Library yet, or may be having issues with it. I apologize for any frustration the delay in receiving your game has caused.
    Although most orders are fulfilled within an hour, please allow up to 24 hours after your purchase for the delivery of your digital code. You can see more information in regards to this by viewing our Digital Library troubleshooting post here.  I’ve attempted to locate your purchase to determine when it was placed, but am unable to do with the information provided in your profile on the forums.
    If you have received the code, but you’re having issues actually downloading the game, send me a private message with the BestBuy.com order number and I’ll look into this further. To send me a private message, simply click the link in my signature.

    Come on Verizon you teased us enough with this coming soon! I'm a developer that purchased the new Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it was a nice a phone but not for a developer! So I sold it for $700! It was such a tease! I need an unlocked bootloader so I can install a custom recovery! So it was like buying a brand new laptop with an encoded password! Its not right! It's our hardware! Why must you lock it up?? I hope you guys release this Developer Edition Note 3 before December, if not it looks like I'm switching to Sprint or T-Mobile! You already took my unlimited data away, and now you expect us to buy locked devices? Please Verizon keep development going! It's only making Android better!

  • Digital Library log in credentials not working

    I created my BestBuy.com account and am able to login to it. I've checked my account information which I think to be correct. I received an email that my order is ready, but I have the error "The e-mail address and password entered do not match our records. Passwords are case-sensitive. Please try again.". I'm at a loss what to check or try next to correct my login issue.

    It looks like you contacted another one of our customer service channels earlier today and they were able to help you access your game through an alternative method. Hopefully this worked out and you’ve been able to download it since then.   • Search for book in bookshelf or in digital library

    Is there a way to search all the books in a bookshelf or digital library with Digital Editions? I'd like to be able to enter a keyword or phrase and have it display the books / pdfs that have hits.

    Have you had any luck with this? I have six iMacs running 10.6.2 and a 10.5.8 server. Since the update my users have not been able to send mail or invite any of the groups that are in Workgroup Manager. I'd really like to get it fixed without buying Snow Leopard server.

  • Digital Library, error -7

    So yesterday I placed an order online for a digital product (SWTOR cartel coins) and the first time, the order was cancelled for some reason. The 2nd time, the order went through and I got my email, but I was unable to log into digital library due to error 7. I did the standard troubleshooting that is recommended here, but to no avail. I also called Best Buy support, twice. The first lady, who got all my info put me on hold for 10 minutes then sent me to another lady who needed my info and told me to wait 24 hours and check my email. 24 hours later, nothing.

    I think it might not be a Best Buy issue.
    What are you using for a web browser?
    Try a different one.  Also check to make sure your security settings are not to high.
    Also, check how much space you have available on your hard drive.
    If you don't have a lot of disk space (less than 10% available) free some up.
    Defragment your drive
    Run Disk Cleanup followed Error Checking.  Be advised Error Checking can take up to an hour or more, especially if you have not run it in awhile.
    Defrag again.
    Error 7 has something to do with software not being in stalled correctly.
    If your using IE try resetting it.  Click on Tools>Internet Options.  In the Internet Options window click on the Advanced Tab and hit Reset.
    I have found it often helpful to Reset IE every now and then.
    For Chrome  click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome icon.  In mine it is in the upper right hand corner.
    Click the link to show advanced settings and near the bottom is Reset Settings option.
    Finally if resetting your browsers does not work try reinstalling your browser.

  • Can't log into Digital Library

    Seems to be a running theme on this forum. Anyway, I just purchased a digital download and am unable to log into my library to retrieve it. I am logging in with my BestBuy account. All of the information is accurate. I've triple checked. Switched browsers as well. Same issue. Any help is appreciated.

    We definitely don’t want to see our customers not being able to access their digital downloads, so I apologize for the issues that you are having accessing the Digital Library.
    I located your order and it looks like this is an Electronic Arts game.  EA actually downloads all their games through EA Origin, not the Digital Library, which is why you are not able to access the Digital Library, as there is nothing there.  You should have received an email with your product code and instructions on how to download through Origin. 
    I will send you a Private Message with your product key and the link to EA Origin.  If you have never downloaded through them before, you will need to create an account with them and download the Origin downloader program.  You can check your Private Messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties accessing your Digital Library account! Resetting your account's password does typically resolve these types of issues, so it's surprising you haven't had any luck.
    I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and have sent you some information. Please make sure to check your private messages by signing into the forum and then clicking on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

    I am having the same issue. I try to log on to bestbuy.com tells me my password or email isn't right. I reset it. (6 times today with the same password) I log in, I go to digital downloads, and my SWTOR Cartel coins are not there. I'm done. Ordered it at about 9AM it is now 12:26 AM. I got the email long ago that it was ready for download. Can I just have my stuff please. I don't feel like resetting my password everytime I log in to a website. I'm done.

    I wouldn't worry just yet -- it can sometimes take up to four hours for downloadable content to be viewable in the Digital Library. Still, I can imagine how anxious you must feel to get back to playing!
    I've sent you some information, so please make sure to check your private messages when you can. I've also reset your password from our end to see if this resolves the problem. When you receive the password reset notification, please do the following in order:
    Log out of your BestBuy.com account completely on all devices, including the My Best Buy app
    Delete your browser history, cache, and cookies
    Visit the password reset link in your email (please be sure to check your spam folder)
    Create a new password that fits the accepted criteria (use a password you’ve never used before)
    Logout of your account as it will log you in automatically after creating the new password
    Wait 5-10 minutes and then attempt to login to your account
    To check your PMs, simply sign into the forum and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

    There are a few different reasons why purchases might not be viewable in your Digital Library account, but many can be resolved through a simple password reset. If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to try the steps outlined in this thread:

    i am having the same problem that that person had
    I ordered a game from Best Buy's website today and got the confirmation e-mail with a link to the digital download library. However, whenever I tried logging in it blocked the entry stating that the e-mail and/or password did not match the records. I have tried altering the password with no effect. I know it is correct because I can login to Best Buy's website with no problem.

    Thank you for purchasing a game from Best Buy.  I am very sorry to hear you've not been able to download it thus far.
    I have reviewed your order and everything seems to be processed correctly.  When you attempted the password reset, did you do it from the Digital Library login page, or the www.BestBuy.com one?  If not from the Digital Library, you may wish to try it from there.
    Another step that may assist you is to get to the Digital Library through the order page on www.BestBuy.com.  To do this, log into the website, click on "Orders" in the upper right corner.  From there you should be able to find your game order.  Open the order page and you should find a link to the Digital Library.  Click on it and you should get to the download page.
    Please try these steps and met me know if you need any additional assistance.

    Hi Brian,
    Last week I spoke with a Best Buy representative on the phone. I explained my situation and she issued me a gift card to "re-purchase" the game thinking that if I bought a new copy (with a new key code) that it would download correctly. I just received the gift card in the mail and have since bought the game again with the gift card. However, I am still encountering the problem I had before. The download is stuck at "288.59KB  of  7.45GB."
    The reference number the representative gave me on the phone was # (removed per forum guidelines).
    This doesn't seem to make sense since the other game I bought along with it originally downloaded no problem. This is quite frustrating.

Our support teams have been working on this issue and quite admittedly, this is something we aren’t too terribly familiar with here on the forums. While we have encountered issues in the past with digital downloads, none were during the download itself.

  • My Rant about BB and their Digital Library!

    I have had no luck getting any customer service representative to assist me for the past two days.
    I recently purchased some software on Bestbuy.com ( a Digital Download) .
    After I received my email conformation that the software was in the BestBuy Digital Library I attempted to log in and received the following alert:

    This email or password does not match, please try again or reset your password.
    I have reset my password no less than 8X and still cannot get into the digital library to download my purchase. I have additionally called the customer service line and spoke to three different reps (apparently in India) the first told me that I would have to bring my laptop in and have the Geek Squad look at it, ridiculous, I am running an Alienware MX17 r4 laptop pushing 4.4 Ghz. It’s not my gear! The second told me there was indeed a problem with the Digital Library and that she would email a link to directly download my purchase, after confirming all my info and hanging up, I have yet to receive any email! The third told me to, again, change my password and add some spaces to the new one, did that and still unable to get into the digital library.
    I have no problem logging into BestBuy.com and navigating through the site, I cannot access the Digital Library and have already wasted two days trying to remedy this. Can someone please tell how I can access my purchase. And, yes, I've tried clearing the cache, cookies, and different IEs. No Luck or help from Best Buy and I dont have a pair of U.N. headphones to understand the call reps in India!
