I've just created a .pkg through CCP and tried installing directly on a local machine as well as through ARD and they both fail to install. I made sure that it ignores conflicting processes. When installing directly on the local machine it says "The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail..."
Any help would be great as I've got to deploy this out to our company as soon as possible.

    We have a major issue with the way this works... we have no internet on our workstations, and want to deploy... it appears there is NO WAY to do an offline activation using the AAMEE program!!! This is a major oversight for people who work on contained networks, with zero internet on any workstations where the deployment can be made.
    Please let me know of a way round this, it is quite urgent!

  • Adobe Creative Cloud package fails to Install - Mac OSX Mavericks

    I've been trying to get the Adobe Creative Cloud package that I had built with the Creative Cloud Packager installed onto a staff member's Mac but it always ends with "The Installation Failed" (No error code or explanation). If I watch the Application folders while it's running, Dreamweaver CC 2014 and Flash Builder 4.6 pop up but then get removed and then the installation fails. I have already run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, renamed the OOBE folder, and tried the installation with a newly created admin account. The package installs just fine on other Macs, but this one did have older versions of Adobe Software from CS5 and CS4 installed. I uninstalled them but my guess is that there's left over files somewhere causing a conflict.

    I managed to find a solution to the problem. I ended up uninstalling every Adobe related application and then went through the user/library and system/library and removed everything Adobe from the Application Support and Preferences folders. Unfortunately, I do not know what application or file was ultimately causing the issue.

    Creative Cloud PackagerでビルドしたPhotoshopCS6をMacOSX10.6.8にインストールすると、
    インストール自体は問題なく成功しますが、PhotoshopCS6からjpeg画像を開こうとするとエラーが
    発生する現象を確認しています。
    こちらはCreative Cloud Packagerの必要システムを対象OSが満たしていない事による仕様なのか、
    若しくはバグなのかについて、現在調査中となっています。

    本件続報です。
    この問題はCameraRawのバージョンによって発生することがわかりました。
    具体的には、Creative Cloud Packager で 「以前のバージョン」 から選択してビルドするPhotoshop CS6 では、アップデートすべて含んだ状態でビルドした場合、CameraRawのバージョンが8.7.1になります。
    ですが、MacOSX10.6.8 で使用できる CameraRaw のバージョンは 8.3 以下となっている為、このようなトラブルが発生する事がわかりました。
    回避方法としては2点です。
    ①Creative Cloud Packager でPhotoshop CS6のビルドを作成する際、CameraRaw 8.7.1 のアップデートを含まないビルドをする。
    Creative Cloud Packagerでこのビルドを行った場合のCameraRawバージョンは 7.0.0.308 になります。
    この場合、インストール後に、インストールした端末のCamera Rawのバージョンを8.3までアップデートします。

    ②Creative Cloud PackagerでCamera Raw 8.7.1のアップデートを含むビルドを作成し、インストールした端末にてバージョンを下げる。

    Adobe is verifying my case, but I'm in need of an urgent response. I don't know if I make another account and another credit card debit, just to have access for the programs, or if I wait working on another old PC computer for 25 trial days. If I make another account I can be charged for 2 payments, That's what I don't want.

    He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
    le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
    I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

  • Creative Cloud Packager 1.2 Builds error on Install...

    As I posted in this thread, with no resolution, I am running into issues with Creative Cloud Packager 1.2 Builds. The builds create fine, the applications install fine (when you unpack and rename the Set-up.dat to Set-up.exe), however trying to run the build .exe or .msi fails and never installs anything. It appears the build is trying to uninstall the CC applications before doing an install, but fails as there are no CC applications installed. I have tried with the Creative Cloud App running and not running, restarted with all services stopped, etc as directed in the other thread, but still no successful installs. A snippet (as it is the same error for every application in the build) of the error I am being given in the log is:
    Exit Code: 33 - The product is not installed, cannot uninstall.
    Please see specific errors and warnings for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...

    The machine that this is being built and tested on, and will be deployed on, are Windows 7 x64 so what is the cause of this error? Is there anyway to work around to this? Can I creating a batch install with command-line flags for each package Set-up.exe? Is there a way to get a previous or beta build of Creative Cloud Packager so that I can properly deploy the application?

    Please quit CC desktop if running at the backend and try installing in the given sequence:
    Note: It is recommended that Creative Cloud Packager should not be installed on a system where one or more Creative Suite products or Creative Cloud Manager products have been installed.
    Adobe Application Manager 3.1 and Creative Cloud Packager can be installed and used on the same machine. However, they should not be running simultaneously for package creation.
    Sequence of installation of packages in the Exceptions folder
    Except for Acrobat for Windows, all packages in the Exceptions folder should be deployed afteryou have deployed the main MSI or PKG package. However, Acrobat for Windows should be deployed before you deploy the main package.
    Therefore, if you are using Exceptions Deployer Application to deploy Acrobat on Windows, you should run Exceptions Deployer Application before deploying the main MSI package. For all other packages, you run Exceptions Deployer Application after deploying the main packages. If theExceptions folder contains Acrobat for Windows as well as other packages, you run Exceptions Deployer Application twice—once before deploying the main MSI package (this will deploy Acrobat for WIndows) and once after deploying the main MSI package (this will deploy the other packages).

  • 3 Creative Cloud packages all fail on Launch with Error 16

    Hi,
    I am using creative cloud packager to create applications to deploy using SCCM, which I have successfully deployed in the past.
    I created 3 new creative cloud packages this week, Edge Animate, After Affects and Premier Pro, for the 64bit platform.
    The machines their to be deployed to are Windows 7 SP1 64bit, two machines I tested to were absolutely fine, all other machines tested to have deployed, but on launch all three apps behave the same way. A prompt suggesting I uninstall and reinstall the product. contact Adobe support if the problem reoccurs. Error: 16  (These machines are a mixture of freshly built and established desktops)
    I have tried the steps to resolve similar issues for error 16 in this link http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html
    But they did not resolve the problem, I have recreated the packages and tweaked some settings but this consistently occurs regardless of what I do.
    Any suggestions on what could be the issue or where to look for information to find the cause on the machines would be appreciated, there is not much regarding this scenario available from forums.

    Error 16 is usually related to a permissions issue.

  • Evaluation of Creative Cloud Packager / Enterprise Dashboard

    is there any possibility to evaluate the Creative Cloud Packager respectively the Enterprise Dashboard?
    I'd like to test the download and the deployment in our company network to see if all is working fine or if there are any issues before buying a subscription.
    If I try to access the Enterprise Dashboard with my AdobeID I get a message that I'm not allowed to access the site.

  • Issues using msi files packaged by Creative Cloud Packager.

    But when I try installing the products by doublecklicking the msi file, it doesn't install. It will only install if I doubleclick on the Setup file. And since I can't find a sillent install command line for that, and need to package this for use from SCCM 2012, it's no good. Also, I need a silent uninstall command for the product's, since the product codes can't be found in the registry under HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, I'm not sure where to find the uninstall string either. Had a support chat for more than 50 minutes with an adobe engineer that was not very helpful at all and the chat ended abruptly without any resolution for me...

    If I understand you correctly, you are trying to install a by Double clicking on MSI package.
    If you are looking for the Command that you should use to install, here it is:"msiexec.exe /i <pkg_name>.msi /quiet". Make sure you are already in that directory where you have this MSI package while running this in command prompt

    To get your self added as a Secondary program admin in Creative Cloud For teams , The Primary Program Admin(The person who placed the order for Creative Cloud for Teams) should login to Creative.adobe.com and then add you as an admin .

    I have been trying to use the Creative Cloud Packager application for two days to download and package an app.  It is refursing to connect to Adobe and all I get is a criptic something went wrong try again later message. 
    I am an Enterprise customer and am using the most recent version of the packager available in my enterprise account download account.

    Download and Install Adobe Application Manager, launch it and let it update itself.  Then you should be able to close Application Manager and open Creative Cloud Packager.  That worked for me
