  • Open Applemail archive file in Outlook Windows

    I archives my emails a long time ago from Apple Mail in Mac. I stored the file in hard drive and now I nee to access those emails again. But I don't possess that MBP but I do have a windows system in which I have installed Office 2013.
    Is there any way that I can open those archives files in Outlook 2013???

    Your emails are archived in different (.mbox) file format which windows outlook can't read or import.
    You will first need to convert these archives files to a format (.pst) that outlook can read and import.
    For email file format conversion there are various coverters available online.
    You can gert a flood of solutions if you search in the right place.
    Search in Google:- apple mail to outlook conversion
    I have found this application the on tope charts searching in google for this query, please have a look and if you feel positive then first check the tools functioning by downloading its trial version. (none of the email converters are free)

    I hope this helps you.

  • Invalid Keystore Format error

    we need to configure an SSO from SAP portal and a third party website by passing encrypted userid as url parameters.
    To configure the SSO I have received the public key of the third party and able to access it from server location. Now I have to access priavte key of the SAP Portal certificate and sign the UserId and pass it as url parameter. I have gone through many blogs and written code as below which is giving Invalid Keystore Format error.
    My question is
    1. What should be passed to FileInputStream?
    As of now we are passing the .cer file which is stored as part of project.
    Below code is throwing error at ks.load() method.
    String fielPath1 = request.getPublicResourcePath()+"/SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert1.cer";
    FileInputStream ksfis = new FileInputStream(fielPath1);
    KeyStore ks = KeyStore.getInstance("JKS");
    ks.load(null, sPass.toCharArray());
    BufferedInputStream ksbufin = new BufferedInputStream(ksfis);
    ks.load(ksbufin, sPass.toCharArray());
    PrivateKey priv = (PrivateKey) ks.getKey(alias, kPass.toCharArray());
    Error is:
    Invalid keystore formatsun.security.provider.JavaKeyStore.engineLoad(JavaKeyStore.java:633)sun.security.provider.JavaKeyStore$JKS.engineLoad(JavaKeyStore.java:38)java.security.KeyStore.load(KeyStore.java:1185)am_sso_apc.doContent(am_sso_apc.java:132)com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.AbstractPortalComponent.serviceDeprecated(AbstractPortalComponent.java:213)
    Please let me know how to pass the filepath to extract the priavte key .
    Regards,

    I found the solution. As follows:
    keytool -list -keytool keytoolfile -storetype jceks

    Hi Mike,
    something looks a bit strange for me. On my OEL 5.4 x64 system i have just the following 3 packages:

    oracleasm-support-2.1.3-1.el5
    oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.el5 Your packages should be I think the following:

    I think that I am on to something. I deleted all the files in this directory:

  • Invalid keystore format

    I have a Java applet (called PALS) that was developed with version 1.5 update 7. It has been signed with a digital certificate from Thawte. Recently a customer had her Windows XP machine re-imaged, and that image comes with the Java 6 JRE. Others have had this done and were still able to run my applet, but she gets an error message that complains about an "invalid keystore format."
    I tried going into the Java Console and removing the user's PALS certificate, but it also complains about the keystore format. I then tried just removing Java 6 and installing Java 5, hoping that that would would clear things up, but she gets the same error.
    Am I correct that when a user runs my applet the certificate is read from the JAR file and placed in a keystore on their machine? If the keystore has the wrong format, can I just delete it, and where is that file? I thought it was supposed to have the name .keystore but I can't find that anywhere.

    That was where I was expecting to find it, but it's not there. On a machine that hasn't been corrupted like my customer's, I can open up the Java Control Panel, go to the Security tab, click on certificates, and see the certificate that was used to sign the JAR file, but I don't have a .keystore file.
    If it hasn't saved it in a file, where did it put it?
    Thanks for your reply.

    We had the same problem when switching to Ubuntu 14.04, and there actually is a solution for it: make sure your locales are set to English.
    $> env | grep LC_*
    should only show english (or C) locales, all others are known to cause parsing errors in some numbers, usually caused by wrong string-to-float conversions (e.g. 18,29 in german is 18.29 in english). You can change the locales in the file /etc/default/localesThis is not the first time we had problems with the locale settings, Xilinx does not seem to test their software with anything else than en_US, causing obscure bugs like this one.

    sudo keytool -import -alias AUTH_CA -file /etc/ssl/certs/ldap_crt.pem -keystore /usr/lib/j2se/1.4/jre/lib/security/mycacertsThen I get this:

    Just a permission problem! Take care that your process can write on the keystore/truststore.

  • Premiere sends EDL with 'invalid timecode format string'

    Following the suggestions in this thread, I am attempting to send an EDL of a Premiere sequence to Speedgrade.
    When I attempt to import the EDL into Speedgrade I get this error message:
    ERROR
    In point timecode is invalid. Invalid timecode format string(hours): '23813+20'
    in edit 1
    File: 001 LR001 V C 2813+20 23815+17 0:00 1+37
    Line: 2
    I've worked very rarely with EDLs but have read the Speedgrade and Premiere guides. I must be missing something but can't tell what.  Here's the details from my project:
    I'm editing in 24fps. The video files are generated in After Effects from DPX files. The timecode is based on the DPX file names, with the hour matching the Lab Roll number (so 11:00:00 for Roll 11)
    I export an EDL in CMX3600 format. I've tried both default settings and without audio. Same results. I even get the same result if I make a sequence from a single clip and try exporting that EDL.
    I don't think this is a Speedgrade issue, because if I try re-importing the EDL into Premiere, it seems like all the clips are only one frame long.
    Any suggestions about what I might be doing incorrectly would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Lev

    Are you wanting to just simply go from Premiere to Speedgrade? If so why not just use the "send to speedgrade" choice. Also I wanted to point out in the original thread you actually said you didn't want to use speedgrade, I've never used a EDL with speedgrade so I have 0 ideas there, but have you tried just using Premiere's built in send to speedgrade function?

  • Got 'Invalid keystore format' when trying to set up an SSL connection

    Hello,
    On Windows XP, JDK1.5_13:
    I build a library module that can create an https connection supplying a certificate in a truststore. Used Apaches HttpClient 3.1 and the httpclient contrib library. To test this I used Tomcat, enabled SSL and added a keystore with certificate. I used a browser with the https url to get the certificate, stored it trusted in a keystore and tested the library with that keystore. This worked fine. The keystore was loaded and the connection established (even without supplying the keystore password).
    Now I moved the library as is to a (RedHat) Linux machine, with JDK1.5_01. When I run the same test on this machine, I got the following stack trace:
    java.io.IOException: Invalid keystore format
    at sun.security.provider.JavaKeyStore.engineLoad(JavaKeyStore.java:632)
    at java.security.KeyStore.load(KeyStore.java:1150)

    at org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector.executeMethod(HttpMethodDirector.java:171)
    at org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpClient.executeMethod(HttpClient.java:397)
    I dug up the JavaKeyStore.engineLoad source and found that it trips over the next piece of code, where stream is the InputStream for the keystore file and password is the password for the keystore file.
         if (password != null) {
              md = getPreKeyedHash(password);
              dis = new DataInputStream(new DigestInputStream(stream, md));
         } else {
              dis = new DataInputStream(stream);
         // Body format: see store method
         int xMagic = dis.readInt();
         int xVersion = dis.readInt();
         if (xMagic!=0xfeedfeed ||
              (xVersion!=0x01 && xVersion!=0x02)) {
              throw new IOException("Invalid keystore format");
    Tried to use JDK1.5_15 on Linux machine, but got the same result.
    Can anyone tell me why it works on a windows machine, and not on a linux machine and/or what I can do to get it working?
    Regards,
    Frank

    I can only guess that the keystore file was corrupted when you copied it onto the Linux system. Check the first 8 bytes of the keystore file with a hex editor or viewer. They should be (in hex) fe ed fe ed 00 00 00 0z, where z is either 1 or 2.
    In Linux, you can use the od command, e.g. od -t x1 keystorefile | head -1 should display the first 16 bytes of the file.

  • Invalid datetime format (null) Elements 4 and 7

    I have about 20,000 photos in Elements 4 organizer (windows XP SP2). I am trying to get the catalog in shape to be converted to Elements 7 format--it will not convert at present, telling me the file has errors in which need to be fixed before conversion. In Elements 4 I've run "Recovery" which completes successfully (several times). I've tried "reconnect all files" which reports all files are connected.
    But I think I have found the problem. There is one file/photo with the same name (it is the same photo) both inside and outside of a version set. I do not know how or when this happened.
    Whenever I try to do any of the following I get the same error
    1. Delete either version of the file (i.e. inside or outside of the version set)
    2. Stack the outside file/photo with the 2 in the version set
    3. Convert the version set to individual photos
    The Error is
    The ODBC data source reported the following error
    "[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Invalid datetime format (null)"
    By the way, the metadata for this photo has a proper date. I have tried various tricks like deleted the file outside of Elements, adding it back with a reconnect, etc. No resolution.
    I am completely stumped. By the way, other than this, the Organizer seems to work OK (a bit slow sometimes, but that is relative. I was hoping 7 would be faster).
    Please advise.

    John
    Thanks for the tips. The following are the last several lines from the conversion log:
    created media a:107486 for file "J:/Album of Photos/2005 Photos/2005_04_22 Barcelona/133_3382_edited-1.jpg"

    The file 133_3386 is the problem file I noted. However the first instance in the log above has a 2005_04_22 date, which does not exist in the actual file.
    I don't have PSE5 and I don't know ACCESS. Does any of this make sense?

    Hi
    yes, I had the same issue and I found a solution.
    You need to request a patch for BUG 9212862 (already corrected in WLS 10.3.3) and do the follwing:
    javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider provider = (javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider)port;
    java.util.Map context = provider.getRequestContext();
    context.put(weblogic.wsee.jaxrpc.WLStub.POLICY_COMPATIBILITY_PREFERENCE, weblogic.wsee.jaxrpc.WLStub.POLICY_COMPATIBILITY_MSFT);
    This will cause the SecurityMessageArchitect class of WLS to not send the SecurityTokenReference in the Soap security header.
    Please note that is evidently a non-comformity to the specs of microsoft:
    Please give a look at
    http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-soap-message-security-1.0.pdf (8.3 Signing Tokens)
    and also at:
    http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/16768/wss-v1.1-spec-os-SAMLTokenProfile.pdf
    (3.4 Identifying and Referencing Security Tokens)
    A SAML key identifier reference MUST be used for all (local and remote) references to SAML 1.1
    assertions. [...]
    All conformant implementations MUST be able to process SAML assertion references occurring in a
    <wsse:Security> header or in a header element other than a signature to acquire the corresponding
    assertion. A conformant implementation MUST be able to process any such reference independent of the
    confirmation method of the referenced assertion.
    It follows that the .NET 3.5 is a non conformat implementation: I would gladly know which is the position of Microsoft on that.
    ciao

    Getting this invalid keystore format when trying to enter a secure website that run java. Tried to re-install several times and several versions of JRE... NtWebTellerApplet.
    This is running on a Vista Ultimate x64 with Q6600 and 8 gigs of RAM. Even tried to get the support on that site to remote help.. No luck in that either.

  • Unable to Edit - "Invalid Pixel Format"

    When I click on JPEG thumbnails in iPhoto 9 nothing happens. If I then click the edit button manually, the thumbnails appear at the top arrayed horizontally but, when I click on one, it doesn't open up in the edit window. Each time I do this the following error message appears in the console:
    12/13/09 11:44:22 AM iPhoto[687] invalid pixel format
    12/13/09 11:44:22 AM iPhoto[687] invalid context
    Same issue and error message with Preview.
    I only have this issue with my MacMini (early '09) under SL 10.6.2. No problem under 10.5.8 on MacMini or on my MBP under 10.6.2.

    I'm joining this party.
    Brand new Mac mini 2,53 Ghz with SL 10.6.2 that replaced an 2 GHz mini.
    The iPhoto library was already on an external disk (Drobo) so file copy issues are not the cause of this.
    And when I connect to the Drobo from another Mac mini (exactly the same model, I just bought 2 of them!), I can open the files without any problems.
    So it has to be this particular mini.
    The only difference between the two mini's is that the one with troubles runs without a monitor.
    The one without troubles has a 23" ACD attached to it.
