Invalid Binary In New iTunes Connect

Hi,
I am facing issue of Invalid Binary when I upload it to the iTunes Connects.
Major issue is Apple is not providing detailed description about Invalid Binary.
I uploaded it from Xcode 5.1.1 with successfully validate message & without any warning.
I am not understand what is the issue. Can any body please help me?
I have wasted my 2 days on it.

Same problem here.
Through what channel/form/webpage etc are you folks trying to reach out to developer support about this? I honestly can't find what looks like an appropriate channel for this sort of support at all. The Contact Us page on iTunes Connect isn't a contact page at all, but a drill-down through some predefined FAQs (none of which of course matches "Help my binary is in some strange purgatory and I can't submit apps for review anymore"). There really should be an easier way to let them know there's a problem like this.

  • Invalid Binary error in iTunes Connect

Hi, I tried to upload an app to itunes connect and I get a message saying "Invalid Binary". I also get the following email from Apple:
    Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "AppName". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:
Invalid Signature - the main app bundle AppName at path AppName.app is signed but the signature is invalid. The following error(s) were reported from codesign:
a sealed resource is missing or invalid
Refer to the Code Signing and Application Sandboxing Guide and Technical Note 2206 for more information.
Once these issues have been corrected, you can then redeliver the corrected binary.

    The App Store team
    Please help!

I'm having the same problem even though I was able to archive, validate and submit my app within XCode. The only hint they gave in the rejection email is that the Installer cert might not be selected - but it was selected so I don't know what I can do. :/

  • Invalid Binary Upload to iTunes Connect

    Dear iTunes Support,
We've already uploaded to iTunes Connect to mobile applications using the 64bit architecture.
In the upload process we accept the status error "Invalid Binary" with no further notice from Apple.
Kindly information what should we do to fix the error "Invalid Binary" This
    Thank You,

I spent one full day on it and my app is now "Waiting For Review"
I hope this can help you :
    Flash builder 4.6
    Air 3.7
I did 3 things, don't know which one it the correct:
    1) Add this to your MySplashScreen.mxml
    <s:SplashScreenImageSource dpi="320" minResolution="1096" source="@Embed(source='../assets/[email protected]')" />
    2) Add png to root level (I thing this is the right step)  :
    3) Add png with different name to asset folder (don't know why, I really don't think that is the trick but.... I'm not sure so.)
I hope this can help you !
    Best,
    Pierre

  • New iTunes Connect - Invalid Binary

On the new iTunes Connect I have tried to put through an App Update but after submission the binary got rejected. There is no link to the review centre so I can see exactly what is wrong with my binary so a bit lost in the dark. Anybody got any ideas?

i have the same issue. binary gets validated and submits successfully. submit for review and after a while, and without notice, it moves to "Invalid Binary." Looking at the details under "Prerelease" is not helpful. There is no indication, other than a yellow triangle icon with a ! in it, as to why it is invalid. It even lists the "Binary State" as validated. I did notice the file size is only at 5.70 MB when it should be much larger. It submitted through XCode successfully, but given the file size, I figured maybe there was an error during upload. So I uploaded again...
Side Note: had to increment the build version because there is no way to reject the invalid binary.
After uploading again without errors I submitted the app for review. It was in the waiting for review state again, and again without notice it moved to invalid binary state. Again the file size was 5.70 MB. Exact same errors and file sizes for a completely different app I tried to submit. This is incredibly frustrating. Glad they decided to "upgrade" iTunes Connect in time for Friday!

  • Invalid Binary Error on iTunes although upload validates without error

    Hi,
We are successfully uploading the binary on itunes connect for testing through Test Flight, however, under "Processing" is shows "Invalid Binary".
What could be the cause? We have done nothing different than what we did to upload earlier builds which became available.

  • Receive invalid password with new iTunes giftcards

Receipt from store says activation was successfully on purchase of 4 $15 cards in one multipack. Cannot redeem on new ipad3, new iPod touch or on pc iTunes. How can I redeem these cards.

If you are having issues logging into ePrintCenter, go to http://www.snapfish.com/ and click on log in and then select "Forgot your Password?" and enter your email address. If it recognizes it, it will send a temporary password to your email address and a link to change it. Go ahead and change that password and go back to http://www.eprintcenter.com/ and try to log in with your email address and password. You should be able to get in now. Let me know if that works for you, if not, we can try something else.

  • Invalid binary: Mac App Store

    Hello all,
I try to submit an application to the Mac App Store, I can get it pass the validation stage within xcode, but I keep getting "invalid binary" on my Itunes connect page... It seems not related to certificate error.
Here is the error displayed in my received email from Apple:
Files Only Readable By The Root User - The installer package includes files that are only readable by the root user. This will prevent verification of the application's code signature when your app is run. Ensure that non-root users can read the files in your app.
I tried to open the api file and the archive one, and set all the directory and their content to "read / write" permission using the finder, but it didn't work.
    Cheers...

I reply myself since I could manage to submit the application. I just started a new empty project and draged and droped the previous files contained in the older project, which seems to have been created with an older version of Xcode, i'm currently using the 4.0.2. Everything worked well... And I still don't understand why there was a problem.
Beware of the old xcode project files...

  • IOS app submission Invalid binary

I'm trying to submit an app to the AppStore and I get "Invalid binary" error from iTunes Connect
" iPhone 5 Optimization Requirement - Your binary is not optimized for iPhone 5. As of May 1, all new iPhone apps and app updates submitted must support the 4-inch display on iPhone 5. All apps must include a launch image with the -568h size modifier immediately following the <basename> portion of the launch image's filename. Launch images must be PNG files and located at the top-level of your bundle, or provided within each .lproj folder if you localize your launch images. Learn more about iPhone 5 support and app launch images by reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines and iOS App Programming Guide.
Invalid Launch Image - Your app contains a launch image with a size modifier that is only supported for apps built with the iOS 6.0 SDK or later. "
    UILaunchImageFile is set to Default
I included a Default.png, [email protected], [email protected], and Default-ipad.png at the correct size.
I also compile using iOS SDK 6.1, and target iOS 3.0
I'm using XCode 3.2.6 because my old Mac Mini can't boot Lion, so I have to stick with Snow Leopard. (and the latest XCode won't work on Snow Leopard)
Why does I get these errors while I included the correct image name and compiling with the latest SDK ?

    You're using ancient technology.
iOS app development doesn't stand still.
Improvements mean greater resource utilization, ergo the need for more up to date hardware/software.
Nobody is forcing you to do anything.
You make an economic comparison of upgrading or not and then decide if it's worth it.

  • Invalid binary after uploading to iTunes Connect

         Hello,
I have an app which was rejected (iCloud related problem). Got the issue fixed and now when I'm trying to
re-submit it. I got it uploaded to iTunes Connect but aferwars the status of the build is 'Invalid Binary'.
A strange thing is that I should receive an email with some explanation of the problems but I got none.
This is my first app so everything is new for me: any help will be much appreciated.
         What I tried so far:
         - regenerate provisioning profile
         - made sure the icons are the correct ones
         - made sure to have the correct Launch Images
         - Incremented the Bulid Number to a larger value
         - Build Active Architecture Only set to 'Yes'
I'm using Xcode Version 6.1 (6A1052d). When I upload the app to iTunes via Xcode everything is going ok. Also if I run it directly to my device (iPhone 5C, iOS 8.1) it works without any problems.
         Thank you,
         Liviu

    Hi,
Are these the same tracks that you had identified as not eligible for iCloud. It is possible that they were corrupted when downloaded. Try deleting them and redownload from iTunes Store > purchased.

  • Watch App: Validates/Uploads fine in Xcode, invalid binary in iTunes Connect

    Hello World:
Now that WatchKit apps are being accepted, I'm eager to submit. The binary validated and uploaded without error using the Xcode Version 6.2 (6C131e).
However, in iTunes Connect, it's marked as an Invalid Binary:
Can some kind soul give me some guidance? I can't find any way to figure out what would make it an invalid binary, especially since it passed validation as part of the submission process.
    Many thanks in advance,
    John

    Hello World:
Eventually I was able to solve my problem: it was an issue of one of the app icons having an alpha channel which it shouldn't have. The automated email that went out from [email protected] got marked as spam by gmail so I never saw it.
I'm now going to file a Radar so that you can see this data in iTunes Connect.
    Best,
    John

  • I need help as a developer. Invalid binary itunes connect.

So I published apps through application loader.
I got a thing saying something about 64 bit and I clicked next. My app is in prerelease saying that it has a invalid binary. What does that mean?
So I published a version 2 and it is some sort of beta testing review testflight thing.
What does invalid binary status do and mean?

YOur phone is in recovery mode, any data that was on there is already gone, you will have to restore your phone and use whatever backup you to restore to.

  • Invalid signature error on submission to iTunes connect

I'm at the hair-tearing out end of stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've developed an app using Build.Phonegap and MVC4 for IOS. Now I'm stuck on the final hurdle: submitting the app to iTunes connect through APP Loader.
I successfully uploaded the application. And then, immediately after I get an email that reads as follows: -
Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target.
Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click "Ready to Upload Binary." Continue through the submission process until the app status is "Waiting for Upload." You can then deliver the corrected binary.
I've checked, re-checked and double-checked again the certificate.p12 and the provisioning profile. They all look good to me, set to distribution not 'ad hoc'. The deployment type is set to 'Apple Ap store'.

    please help me out

  • Error Submitting New App Version in iTunes Connect

Anyone else running into issues submitting a new version of an existing iPhone app to iTunes Connect?
Trying to save a new version and new binary for submission results in the following error message:
There are one or more errors on the page.
Scrolling through the page does not reveal any other indicators something was wrong. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is though is I had to resubmit the app icon when I created the new version for submission. Not sure why the icon disappeared.
    Any advice?
    Tobin

I can't even get my binary to show up.  App Loader uploaded it just fine two hours ago but it still isn't show up as an available build.
