Your template contains an IE Conditional Comment that is adding 30px of top padding to #sidebar1. This padding may required in older versions of IE but not IE9.
<!--[if IE]>
<style type="text/css">
/* place css fixes for all versions of IE in this conditional comment */
.twoColFixRtHdr #sidebar1 { padding-top: 30px; }
.twoColFixRtHdr #mainContent { zoom: 1; }
/* the above proprietary zoom property gives IE the hasLayout it needs to avoid several bugs */
</style>
<![endif]-->
To fix it, change [if IE] to [if lt IE 9]

JSP 2.x - Tag files with body-content="JSP"
I've been looking at the JSP 2.1 draft and see that, as with the previous JSP release, it is not allowed for tag-files to have body-content="JSP". I've tried to find a good answer for that on the web, but there's no one who can enlighten me. I've tried to tweak the source of Apache Tomcat 6.0.13 (Validator.ValidateVisitor and TagFileProcessor.TagFileDirectiveVisitor, both in org.apache.jasper.compiler) to accept body-content="JSP" in tag files - with great success. It is possible to have scriptlets within tags from tag files and it works as expected.
My reason for wanting scriptlets in the body-content of tags from tag files is that it would encourage a more contextual, nested (and in my eyes, a more beautiful) structure of JSP-pages, as opposed to the JSTL flat structure, where f.ex. the sql:query tag does not reside within a sql:setDataSource tag, but instead refers to the datasource through an EL-variable. I suppose that it has been constructed in this way only to make it possible for programmers to include scriptlets in-between sql:query tags that use the same datasource.
Not that it is not possible to nest tag-file tags, but I suspect that many programmers then would like to keep a flat structure so as to maintain the possibility of inserting scriptlets where needed - outside any tag which is based on a tag-file.
So, why is it not allowed for tag-files to have body-content="JSP"?Thanks for the reply, evnafets.
I'm aware that scriptet-code is generally being discouraged, although I don't understand why. I think that having a standard tag-library is a wonderful idea, but in the case of JSTL, I'm not that pleased. It relies heavily on EL, which I see as an unnecessary abstraction.
Let me give you an example. The JSTL does database-connections and queries in this way:
<sql:setDataSource var="datasource" url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:TEMP" driver="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" user="scott" password="tiger" />
<sql:query sql="SELECT * FROM EMP" dataSource="datasource" var="resultset" />This could also be accomplished without EL in a hierarchical structure:
<sql:dataSource url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:TEMP" driver="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" user="scott" password="tiger">
<sql:query sql="SELECT * FROM EMP">
BodyContent <% perhapsWithScriptlets; %>
</sql:query>
</sql:dataSource>...using TagSupport.findAncestorWithClass for the query to reference the datasource which it is enclosed in. (in Tomcat, the class would be called dataSource_tag. BTW, why is this not standardised in JSP?)
I would then also like to be able to use scriptlet-code inside the tags as I could if the tags were written as tag-classes, extending BodyTagSupport, and being defined in a formal, cumbersome TLD file.
Why the difference in functionality between SimpleTagSupport and BodyTagSupport - or rather; why is it then not possible to specify that a tag-file should extend BodyTagSupport rather than SimpleTagSupport? -

How to find the PREVIOUS value of a non-DB item?
I want to do a simple thing but found it impossible.
I want to find the previous value of a non-DB item in a form.
I tried creating a text item and populating it using PRE-TEXT-ITEM but that does not work.
WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM does not work either because WVI fires only after item value has changed.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can use Global variables for to store old values also on Post-query populate a value in separate field or Parameter -
The body/content of my emails is invisible in the large/main part of the screen when using the mail app on my iPad. I can see some of the text from each email in the small preview pane on the left side of the screen (when holding iPad in landscape orientation). The only way I can read the content of an email is to forward or reply and then the body/content appears. How do I fix this problem??
Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
The table of contents is empty because none of the paragraph styles selected in the Document Inspector are used in the document.
The above is what I get when I open a word document. Is there a way to solve this?Hmmm. Apply the styles?

Getting BAM Error: BAM-06008: The XML payload is invalid; extra contents we
Hi All,
Version: 11.1.1.4
We are getting the BAM Error: "BAM-06008: The XML payload is invalid; extra contents were found" after I added a another field to a BAM Object. I can see the new field in BAM and I can also see it when I pull up and map to a BAM adapter in my SOA composite. However, when I have the process send a payload with the newly added field it fails with the above error. However, if I add a new data object in BAM with the field it works fine. What would be causing BAM to think that the newly added field should be in payload?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
--SIf the layout of the data object changes then you need to restart BAM server for changes to take effect. Also make sure, your mapper file isn't adding extra elements than expected.
Thanks

BAM-06008: The XML payload is invalid; extra contents were found.
Hi All,
Version:11.1.1.6
We are getting the BAM Error: "BAM-06008: The XML payload is invalid; extra contents were found" after I added a another field to a BAM Object.I have added that extra field to corresponding data objects .wsdl file as well as in the .xsd. I can see the new field in the BAM DO. However, when I used to send a payload with the newly added field it fails with the above error. However, if I add a new data object in BAM with the field it works fine.
Why am I getting this error?
Thanks,
RahulI have followed the following steps:-
1.Make entry of new field in ".wsdl" file which is in the BAM folder.
2.Make entry of new filed in ".xsd" file.
3.Make appropriate mappings in ".xsl" file corresponding to the sensor's action.
Initially i was only restarting BAM and was facing above mentioned error. After restarting SOA as well as BAM server, it started working. -
Certain emails showing with no body content
Hello,
I have an odd issue with (IMAP) mail on both the iPhone and iPad. Since moving to a new web host (Fasthosts), email coming in from certain places - currently Flickr, Amazon and Groupon - have no body content; in the list of messages, the sender and subject are displayed, followed by 'This message has no content'. The messages appear properly using the host's web-based mail client (OWA 2007) and Mac mail.
I've been in a lengthy (and mostly frustrating) support call with Fasthosts, who are adamant it's not them, despite the fact the issue only started when I set up the account with them. They say it must be the iPhone at fault. All I can find on the web is reference to the other issue where spurious email is shown with now sender or subject, which despite being similar, is not the problem I have.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd be grateful, as it's annoying the **** out of me!
DavidDoes your email template has body tag, if so you need to make sure you are filling the body section in your workflow.

Unicode value of a non-ASCII character
Hi,
Suppose, the unicode value of the character ् is '\u094d'.
Is there any Java function which can get this unicode value of a non-ASCII character.
Like:
char c='्';
String s=convertToUnicode(c);
System.out.println("The unicode value is "+ s);
Output:
The unicode value is \u094d
Thanks in advanceRanjan_Yengkhom wrote:
I have tried with the parameter
c:\ javac -encoding utf8 filename.java
Still I am getting the same print i.e. \u3fIf it comes out as "\u3f" (instead of failing to compile or any other value), then your source code already contains the question mark. So you already saved it wrong and have to re-type it (at least the single character).
>
Then I studied one tutorial regarding this issue
http://vietunicode.sourceforge.net/howto/java/encoding.html
It says that we need to save the java file in UTF-8 format. I have explored most of the editors like netbean, eclipse, JCreator, etc... there is no option to save the java file in UTF-8 format.That's one way. But since that is so problematic (you'll have to remember/make sure to always save it that way and to compile it using the correct switch), the better solution by far is not to use any non-ASCII characters in your source code.
I already told you two possible ways to achieve that: unicode escapes or externalized strings.
Also read http://www.joelonsoftware.com/articles/Unicode.html (just because it's related, essential information and I just posted that link somewhere else). -
XSJOB won't activate, invalid file content
Hi experts,
I'm trying to get a simple XSJOB working, but HANA Studio repeatedly tells me "Invalid file content" when I want to activate the following:
"description": "Queue worker job",
"action": "mypack:myfile.xsjs::myFunct",
"schedules": [
"description": "Check the queue every five seconds",
"xscron": "* * * * * * 0:59/5"
The package and xsjs files as well as the function exist and are activated without any problems. I can run the function in the XSJS without problems.
What can I do?
Thanks in advanceWhen I cut and paste that into my system the file parses correctly. No Invalid File Content errors. So it would seem the format is correct. The only error that I get is that the target action object doesn't exist - which is correct in my system since it doesn't exist. Are you sure that your action target is right. Are you really going after an xsjs that is in the mypack package right off the root? Perhaps post a screenshot of your project so we can see the target structure.

Mail deletes body content of mail
I forwarded several messages to my MAC address from another computer. All content is visible in the MAC INBOX. After moving to a newly created mailbox, the email and the size of the email is displayed however the body content of the emails are no longer visible.
Any solutions?
Regards, Jacksonif you double click on the email in question, does it display normally with the body of the text?
might it be that your other mailboxes have the preview pane collapsed and not showing? if so in one of these mailboxes at the very bottom you should have a small line with a dot in the middle which you can drag up to say the middle of the window. once that is done you should be able to see the body of the email below that line, and the email itself with name/size... above that line.
hope this helps
