Invalid card number it says..but it isn't!!
Hi applenerds,
Appstore constantly asks for billing information whenever i want to download smth. And when i enter the card details, it declines my payment method. I have used this card for 1,5 years, i have used the same card for appstore as well, but now it won't accept. It says it's not a valid card number, but it is, and use it everyday to make other purchases!

Did you try to change your ID informtion in iTunes on your computer?

I bought Photoshop Elements 12 and I cannot install it..It says invalid serial number and says invalid Redemption Code when I try that way. I need the program and because I have opened the box it can't be returned to the store. I have over $100 tied up in this product that I can't use. Hello, how are you? On September 13 I bought an iPad and in October bought a game on the app store problem is that when informed the card number dropped normally, but then went on to ask for a new form of payment because one had given any errors, and so not lowered any other game and not upgraded the already downloaded. I do not know what exactly I have to do, because if informed a new payment method continues with the same problem, checked the card bill and really had given an error, because there was no billed the game. I ask you to verify what happened and explain to me what I need to do, because my single card is Visa's and do not intend to return others to use the services of the App Store.

I am running itunes 9 on Tiger. Everytime I try to edit my credit card number, it says "session timed out". I need to change the card number in order to purchase music. Suggestions?

I opened a gift card email then clicked redeem when the card number came up but the money hasn't been added to my apple id? What have I done wrong and where has the money gone?
May be a refresh issue. Sign out then back in your account again.

Perhaps you should contact the iTunes store via expresslane. They can look at your account and provide the information you are looking for.
Expresslane.apple.com / select iTunes / iTunes Store / Purchases, Billing and Redemption / then unable to purchase from the iTunes store.
Try the article, and if that doesn't solve the issue, you can Email them, or there may be other options depending on when you access the page, and where you are located. -
I received a $25 dollar iTunes gift card from a friend of mine as a gift. She had used some of the card before she gave me which
did not bother me. However, I cannot transfer the funds from the card to my iTunes account. Is it possible that I cannot use this card,
or is there a way I still can use the funds on the card.

GeoWhen an iTunes card is redeemed, the entire value of the card is placed on the iTunes account. It is a one time use thing. So, there is not a remaining balance on the card.

Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store, it seems. The current valid payment methods are listed here:

You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.

Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.

i got my friend to help not sure if your having the same problem but i had to download stuffit expander from the app store to expand the zip files that you initially download you should be able to open them and enter serial number from there
don't know if that helps theres no where that tells you how to do that so its extremely frustrating..
