Invalid Configuration Location

Hi,
I have used AAMEE to create an MSI install for our Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection.
I have followed the instructions to install Acrobat, then the main packages then the other exceptions.
I am now testing with a standard user account on our school network.
When the test user attempts to run Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 the following error occurs:
INVALID CONFIGURATION LOCATION:
The configuration area at \\servername\desktops\shared student desktop area\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\cascaded\335153\configuration could not be be created. Please choose a writable location using the " -configuration" command line option...
Please help...

The only reference to the path I have found is here:

  • Invalid Configuration Location error on startup

I have just installed Flash Builder 4.5 on my Windows 7 Enterprise edition. I installed this using my username (not Administrator), which has local administrative rights. When I start the program, I'm getting the error
    Invalid Configuration Location
The configuration area at 'C:\Users\Administrator\Adobe Flash Builder 4.5\cascaded\308971\configuration' could not be created.  Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option.
    OK
Any reason for this error and what's the workaround?

    Hey there!
Found a woraround to your problem...
Go to your Flash Bulder install directory and then navigate to the eclipse folder (something like <FB_install_dir>\eclipse\...)
There you will find a config file with the following lines (at the end of the file):
    [email protected]/Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5/cascaded/<build_number>/configuration
    osgi.shared.configuration.area=file\:configuration
    osgi.configuration.cascaded=true
What you do is simply remove them. Afterwords when you start the Flash Builder again you will be prompted to enter a new directory to your workspace and everything will run smothly after that.
    Cheers!

  • ORA-22275 :invalid LOB locator specified error while loading BLOBs/CLOBS.

    Hello All,
I am trying to load BLOB/CLOB data from a client oracle DB to the oracle db on our side,we are using ODI version 10.1.3.5.6,which reportedly has the issue of loading BLOB/CLOBS solved.I am using
The extraction fails in the loading stage when inserting data into the C$ table with the following error.
    "22275:99999 :java.sql.BatchUpdateException:ORA-22275:Invalid LOB locator specified".
Kindly let me know how I can resolve this issue as the requirement to load this data is very urgent.
    Thanks,
    John

One alternate way can be done out of ODI as ODI is still not able to resolve this issue. You can trim these fields (CLOB/BLOB) and push this data as separate fields into ODI and at the reporting end you can again concatenate them.
May be this may solve your problem ....it solved mine.

    Hi,
I am having problems when passing a CLOB from a "Union all" view to a function. I get an ORA-22275 error when trying to construct an XmlType from the CLOB and

This error usually indicates that you have both event type and converter bean specified or neither specified. In your case, that doesn't appear to the case from looking at the spring file. Could you also paste the contents of your configuration file from META-INF/wlevs directory?

  • Invalid configuration for catalog/Web dispatcher (Fiori Smart Business Cockpit)

    Hi all,
For our smart business cockpits, we have following issue in our administration (launchpad):
    Invalid configuration for catalog/Web dispatcher
    Title
SAP: KPI Catalog for SAP Smart Business
    ID
    X-SAP-REMOTE:SAP_KPIFRW_TC_R
    Remote ID
    HANA_CATALOG
    System alias
    HANA
    Base URL
    /sap/hba/apps/kpi/s/odata/hana_chip_catalog.xsodata/
    Type
    REMOTE
When I check our console client, the only error that we see is following message:
    2014-08-04 14:33:16 Base URL '/sap/hba/apps/kpi/s/odata/hana_chip_catalog.xsodata' already registered - sap.ui2.srvc.Factory
Does someone already saw this issue before? I noticed that we only have those issues on REMOTE CATALOGS.
    Thx!
    Regards,
    Hans

Use SAP_KPIFRW_TC_R role (I think you already did).
However, to be able to access this catalog, the HANA user needs the role sap.hba.apps.kpi.s.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME
If the user has to model KPIs, they need sap.hba.apps.kpi.s.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_MODELER.

  • Invalid Cach Location Error

We have a single user that is experiencing an error when attempting to open Project Pro 2010 with the default PROD connection to Project Server 2010.  The error is an invalid cache location.  I have seen another unanswered post regarding this issue
and wanted to try a new post to see if any help is available.
    Thank you -
    lbr

    Hi LBR21,
Check in the file/options/save menu that the cache location is something like :
    C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MS Project\14\Cache
    Then try
this procedure to repair the cache.
    Hope this helps,

  • Use module configuration location

    Hi,
i tried in the configuration of a sql loader mapping the "Use module configuration location" option for the location of the control file. The problem is that i can select that value but it's not possibile to check. I can only select a location from the combo box.
Is there a particular configuration for this choice?
    Thanks,
    Luca

Yes, I can view and modify all the locations. The "problem" is that with OWB 11 I don't know how to set a default location for a module (I think that every mapping can use the default value). In OWB 10 I must not define a location for control files (there was a default value).
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Luca
