Invalid contact details while replying to SMS rece...

Hi I'm using Nokia N8 and I have updated it with symbian belle. I have problem while sending reply message to the messages I received. When I try to send reply to same message it says invalid contact details. The contact has been added in the following fashion 'namename' and because of that I have to include contact separately to send messages. Because of this I could not able to recogonise the continuity of messages(chats happend). I already trid delete and restore option but still the problem occurs.
If someone knows the solution for it please kindly help me out of it.

I have a Nokia N8. When I send a text message it comes to some problems. When I enter the desired contact from the phonebook and click send it says to me "Inavlid contact details: (and a contact name).
But when I directly enter the number no problems appears.
Then, the message does not come in the form of chat when I have corresponded with one contact. I have to get out the message that I got that to be able to responded to that message. So sent and received mess. are not in the same chat. ( except those when I directly put the number in).
I hope there is a solution to this problem and sorry for a long post.

hi guys,
i was wondering that while making or receiving a call, is there any app which could display the label of the detail under which the number is saved ??
let me try to explain with the help of an example:
let's say i have a contact saved with the name of "XYZ". there are two numbers saved under that contact. one number 1234 is saved under "Mobile" and other 9876 under "Telephone". so now when i receive a call from XYZ and if it is calling from Mobile the app should display the label "Mobile" along with the number 1234. same with while making a call.
i thought of this feature because i have a lot of contacts with more than 2 number saved under them, and while receiving a call it gets really confusing to remember under which label is this number saved.
hope to find a solution.

No, not AS the call comes in.
While on a call, you can press the ESCAPE key to go to the history with the that contact or phone call to make notes.

E71 - Contacts detail on call or sms arrival

Hi, some of the contacts on my phone don't show a name when the contact calls even though the contact is stored on the phone. Is this a bug on the phone or is this a known issue?

If it is only some and not all, then it is not an issue with the phone but with your contacts. The most likely cause is duplicated numbers (you might have the same contact on both SIM and phone memory, or you might have the same number listed for more than one contact, for example).

MESSAGING "OPENING, INSERTING, INVALID CONTACT DET...

ever since i downloaded a few utilities from the nokia store in my nokia N8 belle, everytime i send a message in the conversation view, the screen says "opening..." then "inserting..." then "invalid contact detail <name>" then it redirects me to a new message. it is annoying because i have to input the contact again. and after i send it. the conversation gets divided into two. 2 new conversations are formed from the same contact. one convo shows the received messages then the other shows my sent messages. shouldnt it be one convo with both? what's going on. i searched around and there was a problem like this experienced by people before in the thread ( http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Symbian-Devices/Problem-in-sending-and-viewing-of-messages-in-Nokia-... im experiencing the exact same problem though it seems the company wasn't able to answer this a few years ago. please help me solve this. this is frustrating. i like my phone. don't abandon the old devices just because there are new ones!

Hi, yoyo0430. Thanks for letting us know about it. Have you already tried restoring the phone's settings to their original values? You have two options here: restoring it without deleting the documents (Restore) or reformatting the phone (Delete data and restore). Go to Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory settings > Restore or Delete data and restore. The default code is 12345 unless changed. But before you reformat the phone, make sure that you have created a backup. You can use the Nokia Suite tool for that. If that doesn't help, using the Lumia Software Recovery Tool might help. Mail keeps opening in the background when accessing contact details

I'm using iPhone 3G
I have an App called FreeMemory (from the AppStore) than can view all running apps in the background.
What I'll do is check FreeMemory and I can see that Mail is NOT running.
Then I go ahead and open Contacts and tap on a particular contact name (I noticed that it takes a while to open the details of a particular contact).
After that I close Contacts and go back to FreeMemory. Now I see Mail running in the background.
(but when I only open Contacts and scroll through the list and I dont tap a contact name, it WONT open the Mail app).
I can conclude that accessing a contact detail also opens Mail app which eats RAM since im using only iPhone 3G which has small RAM.
*PLEASE note that all my mail accounts are already INACTIVE/DISABLED and my Fetch options are OFF and set to Manual. Also, I DONT have any email adress info of my contacts stored in their names.
Any idea how I can prevent Mail from opening when I access contact details??

Invalid rowid error while running the snapshot agent in transactional replication

Hi All,
I am getting an Invalid rowid error while replicating an large tables i.e around 30 millions rows from oracle(publisher) to sql server(Subscriber) while running the snapshot agent in transactional replication.
Its taking around 18 hours and its then its throwing this error.
Is there any faster way that i can replicate the initial snapshot this large table as 18 hours is very high on time.
Kindly suggest.i am always got quick and accurate response always..hope the same in this case also.

Could you please create a replication with some small tables for a test?
You can disable the firewall on both sides and rerun snapshot. Enable verbose logging to level 4 for snapshot agent and check the results if it fails.

Setting value in 'FROM' field while replying the mail

I am working on one issue, In component CRMCMP_CCS_EML, while replying the email, i need to read the 'TO' field and on the basis of that i need to set the value in 'From' field. How can I recognize that this is a reply and not a new email. Also, could anyone please describe me in detail as i never work on email component before.

I got the message mode by using
message_mode = typed_context->mail->messagemode.
got all the options for from address using
lt_from_addresses[] = typed_context->mail->GT_DEFAULT_FROM_ADDRESSES[].
got the original email address using

Contact details of the employee is hold in info type 105; i.e. table PA0105.
For the project details, if you're using PS module, CNR2 transaction -> Capacity -> HRMS Button is used.

Employee Broadband contact details.

I was employed by BT and receiving the free employee broadband package. I am no longer receiving this and I have been billed incorrectly. I have contacted the BT billing team but they have told me to contact the Employee Broadband team.
Having left the company I cannot find any Email addresses or phone numbers for the Employee Broadband team, please could somebody pass on some contact details.

I am attempting to import my contacts from my Blackberry 9670 running version 6 to my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.3, and I get the following error: "Unable to import vCard. This vCard cannot be imported because it contains invalid contact data." I am backing up only contact information from my Blackberry, and there are only 1100 contacts, well under the limits. At Step 6, you will chose "One Way Sync FROM Device"
You follow the remainder of the steps as outlined.
After completed, you will return to your Sync setup as in Step 6 again and set that to Two Way Sync.
Set the conflict settings as you prefer:
Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and click on Synchronize.
Select Configure PIM.
Select the application whose settings you wish to change (for example, the Address Book application).
Select the Configure tab.
Select Advanced Settings.
Select Confilct Resolution, and select the option Handheld Wins, or which you desire to be.
I choose Let me decide because I too, like you, enter data on both the handheld and in Outlook and want to be able to tell the sync which data is correct according to my desires.
