Hello Saumitra,
Can you please validated the Edifecs XML you are genering from BPEL against the XSD generated out of spec builder. If you still find this as an issue please send us the ecs, xsd and the xml generated from BPEL for further review.

Invalid Number Error for Decimal Field While Loading Data
I am loading a delimited text file using the SQL* loader however I am reciving an error in my decimal fields. When a decimal field only has leading zeros before the decimal point I receive invalid number error. Below will clarify:
i.e.) 00000000.30 [*Invalid number*]
i.e.) 00046567.45 [*Valid number*]
i.e.) 00000001.00 [*Valid number*]
I've tried setting the precision/scale in the table, tried declaring it a decimal field instead of number, none of these methods fixed the issue. Any help I would really appreciate.

Invalid number error for bind dialog
Oracle SQL Developer version 1.1.2.25 BUILD MAIN-25.79
Running under WinXP
Issue description:
We get an invalid number error when bind variable filled with an enter in the bind dialogIt is hard to say what is causing your problem without the specifics (ie query and value entered for the bind variable). Try running the same statement with the value of the bind variable in place of the bind variable (ie instead of running "select * from dual where dummy = :var" with a value of 'x' for :var, run "select * from dual where dummy = 'x'"). If you get the same error, then it is not an issue with the use of bind variables.
Be aware that currently you cannot define the data type of bind variables (unlike TOAD, etc) and they are all treated as character values. I wouldn't have thought that this would cause you problem unless you are using a bind variable to restrict a numeric column to a specific value and you are entering a non-numeric bind (ie "select * from people where person_id = :id" and using 'xyz' as the value for :id). -

Error is because of invalid date format.
You need to bring data in required format. As I remember you can configured it in one of the AD configuration lookup. -
MasterThemeSchema.xml file has invalid data error when customizing layout
Whenever I try to customize my layout for Responsive HTML5 I get an error "MasterThemeSchema.xml file has invalid data". I've tried creating new layouts and editing existing layouts. The first time I click Customize Selected Layout it works. But any attempt after that produces the error. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.
Has not working over the network fixed the problem? If it has, check both ways again to establish beyond doubt that it is a problem with working on the network. If it does prove to be that, please file a bug but also post back here.

"Invalid Number" error for no apparent reason
Hi.
We're transferring data from one table on one DB to a data warehouse on a separate DB. All Oracle 11g running on Windows Server 2003.
The columns all match data wise, and it's a simple select and insert.
However, we got an ORA-01722: invalid number error on one run. We checked all the data, which was fine (all 540,000 rows) and ran it again with no error this time.
I'd like to know if anyone knows why this would happen if there is no issue with the data validity. I'll take all guesses or known issues and check them against our systems. If anyone knows how I can get this to repeat I'd be grateful as it's all running fine now.
Cheers
SiThe data is transferred using a Java program. Select into an OracleResultSet() then read each row result into a prepared statement. Were using the batch send, I believe every 100 rows.
The source columns match the target columns for name and type, with two exceptions where the column name is slightly different but the column type still matches.
There are not triggers on either the source or target tables.
Cheers

Kindly help me on this.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to change date format for ‘Created’ field in the getVersions web service.
Per my knowledge, you can get the date format for ‘Created’ field as “MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm a”.
For more information, you can refer to:
Versions.GetVersions Method (Versions)

Invalid Checksum Error for Photoshop Elements 10 installation
I have tried installing Photoshop Elements 10 on my Macbook but I got an "invalid checksum" error (saying that the following disk images couldn't be opened). Was there a previous solution to this type of problem?
That response is not at all helpful. I have no idea what you were referring to, but there is no pale yellow bar at the top of the forum when I am looking at it now.
In the future, consider posting a URL or something else that will continue to be relevant and useful in a persistent way. Perhaps typing a sentence or two about what's going on if you know. If it seems obvious to you, that doesn't mean it will be in the future to others having the same problem. -
Enter a valid date error for ECM
Dear Sir
in our scenario any changes to be done in material bom ecm to be created,but when i m trying to do chnages with that no. it gives enter a valid date error.
regards
kunalDear
When ever any changes done in BOM , it can be captured in the same ECM number generated during the creation of bom under a valid date either u have entered or it will take current date as default date .
Now , if you forget that date , you should goto CC03-Engineering number and then check date from which it is valid .In CS02 , you should give that date along the same ECM number .Generally , it automatically pop up or else if it takes the current date during CS02 txn , u need to change the valid from date of ECM number
hope it is clear

Stale data error for a new page (based on an existing native sshr page)
Without going into too much detail on why I'm doing this, I copied an existing oracle native page, renamed it, and loaded it into the MDS.
I navigate to the page by creating an extension on a controller to take me to there on a button click. Also on this page, the native page that I copied is also accessible. There is a similar button click to take you to the native page.
I had a business requirement to create records for the current year (the native page), and records for next year. Using a dff to differentiate between the two types of records was not an option.
The copied page is used to simply create records. I extended the native controller to default a value behind the scenes (This is how I differentiaing between the current/next year records). The super.ProcessForm/superProcessFormRequest are there as well in this controller. From there, the page is using the same code as the native page that I copied.
When I click the "Save As Draft", "Apply", "Cancel" buttons, it works fine.
However, when I click on the "Apply Add Another" button, I'm getting the following error:
The requested page contains stale data. This error could have been caused through the use of the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example).
Cause:
The record with primary key values {13002} could not be found in view object
AppraisalsAM.ObjectiveEditAM.ObjectivesVO.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu.
Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.
I've researched this error all day today on prior postings/threads, and I haven't found a posting that is similar to the one that I outlined.
I wouldn't think I would have to do anything programming wise since this is all native code, and the native page works fine. I'm guessing somewhere the native page is getting reference that is causing this error....
Any help would be appreciated.
ThanksYou could use HIDE/UNHIDE funtionality for page 2
1) create page 2 with all values ...
2) on page 1 - add jJavascript to show or hide Page 2 dependin on value
if (fieldvalue eq "condition") them
Page2.presence = "visible"
else
Page2.presence = "hidden"

See the code snippet -
Create or Replace Package xyz.abc as
TYPE rec_local is record of (primary_key emp.p_key%type, nam emp.name%type,addres emp.address%type);
Type tab_local is Table of rec_local;
Procedure exclude_pkey (tab1 IN tab_local );
End xyz.abc
Create or Replace Package Body xyz.abc as
Procedure exclude_pkey (tab1 IN tab_local );
Cursor cur is
select primary_key
from table(*cast(tab1 as tab_local *)))
where primary_key NOT IN (select primary_key
from emp)
BEGIN
END exclude_pkey ;
End abc;
I came to know the process that for query purpose we cant use pl/sql type, it must sql type, i.e. creating object and table of that object type in sql,and use of MEMEBER OF ,but what should i do in this case where insted of IN(MEMBER OF can be used for the case of IN) ,NOT IN is used for query.
please reply,
thank youYou are only selecting a single column, primary_key, in your cursor.
You could use the built in sys.ODCINumberlist or sys.ODCIVarchar2list data types instead and pass in only the primary_key.
Re: Passing an array to an Oracle stored procedure
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e10765/ext_types_ref.htm#ADDCI5012
If you are on an old version you can create your own types with the same definition.
Using a cursor like that I can tell that you want to do whatever this does as slowly and inefficiently as possible though.

Invalid object error, for @CURRMBRRANGE
Hi,
I have been getting the error invalid object in line 1, when trying to retrieve the member using smartview 11.1.2.1.
The formula in the member is:
@SUMRANGE (9999,@CURRMBRRANGE (Period,Gen,4, ,0 ));
I have tried changing it to:
@SUMRANGE (9999,@CURRMBRRANGE (Period,LEV,0, ,0 ));
Can anyone suggest any other changes I can try out?
Thanks in advance.
AnindyoI guess the first question is: does the member formula (I am guessing a member formula) verify in EAS?
If yes, are you trying to write a YTD member formula?
When I put this formula into a new member in My Very Favorite BSO Database In The Whole Wide World, aka Sample.Basic:
@SUMRANGE("Sales", @CURRMBRRANGE("Year", LEV, 0, , 0)) ;It works on retrieval as below:
Product Market Scenario
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Year
Sales 31,538 32,069 32,213 32,917 33,674 35,088 36,134 36,008 33,073 32,828 31,971 33,342 400,855
YTDSales 31,538 63,607 95,820 128,737 162,411 197,499 233,633 269,641 302,714 335,542 367,513 400,855 2,589,510 You can see how the months sum up -- is that what you want?

Hi All,
Iss Of Compund data,
Controlling area is a compound object for cost center.
Suppose .......
Controlling are is - ca01
cost center - cc01, cc02
now while we use thes in report variable.
controlling area value given CA01
for cost center value should be CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02.
But in Query it's showing me 3 values
CA01/#
CC01
CC02.
Why this data is is available for cost center.
that should be CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02.
i checked master data thes combination record is there and coming in cost center data also.
why CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 is not coming ??
Please reply for this issuHi,
if you filter your query with 0CO_AREA = CA01, the keys of the costcentre won't be displayed as "CO_AREA/COSTCENTER"; except perhaps the "not assigned" cost centre: CA01/#.
CA01/CC01 and CA01/CC02 will therefore be displayed as CC01 and CC02 (since the CO_AREA is known and well defined as CA01)
If you run the same query with no filter on CO_AREA the system will display the double key.
CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 will be display as is.
If you have both object in the drilldown, CO_AREA and COSTCENTRE in this order, the system won't display the double key either...
CA01/CC01 AND CA01/CC02 will be displayed as
CA01_____CC01
CA01_____CC02
hope this helps...
Olivier.
