Invalid drive error during Client Installation

Dear Experts,
I hit this error when running the 2007 client installation.
Error 1327. Invalid Drive E:\
But theres no Drive E on my local machine. Please advice the cause.

Hello there!
Go to the windows regedit and search for all the reference to drive E:
You should delete this entry and then you will find no problem to install
Start> Run> regedit
then press F3 and type E:
just be carefull with what you delete
This will solve the problem

Hi Manikandan,
Mapping the drives is not enough, you need to make sure that <sid>adm and SAPservice<sid> have enough rights to access those paths...

Getting the error during RCU installation

I am facing the below error during the installation of RCU.I has given the sys user and the pwd which is working fine from DOSPROMPT.the same when i give in the the configuration during the installation of RCU ,i am getting the below error .Can any one help me in sorting out this issue .

I tried manually created a user and provided the sysdba priveiledge to that user and gave that user name and pwd in the database connection steps of RCU installation and gave next .this time i dint get the invalid username /pwd error.But instead i got the below error.
RCU-6002:The specified database does not meet the minimum requirement to load metadata repository.
RCU-6080:Global prerequisite check failed - Check requirement for specified database
The database you are connecting is with non-AL32UTF8 character set. Oracle strongly recommends using AL32UTF8 as the database character set.
Can anyone suggest an idea to resolve this issue .

Errors during upgrade/installation af icloud 4.02

When I try to upgrade icloud 3.1 to 4.02 with Apple Software Update I get this error message:
There were errors during the installation of the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools> Download Only and try installing manually.
When I try to install manually I receive this error message:
Windows Installer
Error transformation. Make sure that the indicated transforming path is valid.
I have also tried to uninstall 3.1 and run the installation of 4.x but it still fails.
This error is happening on several of my Windows 7 32bit
I hope anyone can help me solving this error :-)

Error transformation. Make sure that the indicated transforming path is valid.
I have also tried to uninstall 3.1 and run the installation of 4.x but it still fails.
This error is happening on several of my Windows 7 32bit
I hope anyone can help me solving this error :-)

Error during the installation of SAPNetWeaver

i try to insall sap netweaver but there is error during the installation,the message is:
Errors occurred during the installation.
An error occurred and product installation failed. Look at the log file C:\sapdb\NSP\log.txt for details.
when i check the file C:\sapdb\NSP\log.txt for error i find :

Hi Mustsap,
as the log points out, there are remainders of a previous installation of NSP DB on your computer.
Try the RegClean tool that comes with the evaluation copy. Eventualy you have to delete keys from the registry manualy. You won't be able to to reinstall before these remainders are removed.

More information needed.
For example:
Your SAP version?
Is it a system copy?
How exactly did you try to delete from SAP level?
Without this information, nobody here can do anything but guess.
There are a lot of SAP notes about similar problems.
But for this you will have to supply more information.
Or better; Search in SAP notes yourself!
And here is my guess:

the error occured when two ore more people working in their workspaces but not when only one person working in his workspace

Error during SSL installation on weblogic 8.1

I'm getting an error during the installation of SSL certificate.
After importing the keystore, configuring the webserver and rebooting the webserver, I'm getting identity certificate expired error in the webserver logs.Due to this i'm unable to access the HTTPS URL.
But when i check the keystore, the validity of the certificate is there till 2010.I'm using WEBLOGIC 8.1

If you get (for example) a 128-bit SSL certificate from Verisign you need to specify a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). This is unique for each server. If you have upgraded your server and the CSR generated from the weblogic CSR generator servlet is the same as it was in the previous version, then I guess you can use the same certificate. If the CSR has changed then I think you will need to replace the certificate, this costs $100. If it's been less than 30 days since your certificate was issued, it's free.

Error during Addon Installation Index was outside the bounds of array

Hi wen im trying to install addon on x64 2003 server its throwing me error
Customer library
"Error during Addon Installation Index was outside the bounds of array."
"Error(-2) at EndInstallEx(False) at the end of the addon installation"
Please provide me a solution for this.

Runtime error during full installation

hi
do any one know where SAPLE30B comes....
i got a runtime error during full installation...
it gives a error like : the error has occured because the table was not filled through user input on the selection screen of program SAPLE30D"
i dont know where it went wrong
i wil be greatful if u help me to solve it...

Hi,
this sounds as some field values were not transported to the internal tables. Which transaction do you use? In case you are trying to use dark installation routines, make sure all needed fields are filled (check within the dump). If this all does not help - open a customer message - a dump will always be inspected by SAP Support.

Setmgr.dll error during 9iAS installation

Hi all
I'm getting setmgr.dll could not move from xx location to yy location error during 9iAS installation. Has anyone faced the same problem?.
I just tried doing the Core Edition installation.
Any suggestion is appreciated..

I am encountering similar errors but much earlier and in a much higher number.
For me the problem starts at 62% completion of the linking process with
Error in invoking target install of makefile /ora/product/9.0.1/plsql/lib/ins_plsql.mk
and it continues
Error in invoking target install of makefile /ora/product/9.0.1/plsql/lib/ins_plsql.mk
Error in invoking target relink of makefile /ora/product/9.0.1/precomp/lib/ins_precomp.mk
etc.
As ins_?????.mk in fact is a makefile I am now trying to
cp ins_?????.mk makefile
and then type
make
Then something happens (watch the processes) that looks very much as if it links
and builds the libraries. Next I click on [Ignore].
But I am not sure yet whether this helps. Right now I am still in the process of
installing oracle.
Can anybody state on this?

"Invalid Drive I:\" error during iTunes installation. What do I do now?

Can't install iTunes on my pc. Keep getting "invalid Drive I:\" error.
I have no drive I:\. I have C:, D: and P:(external drive).
I have downloaded iTunes a couple of times but none work.
I am using an HP DV6700 with windows 7.
Help, please.

Error in client installation

During client setup installation the message "u201Csetup has failed to automatically login to the server please enter correct login informationu201D appears and it does not allow the completion of the installation.
We are using MSSQL Server 2005 in Windows 2003 server domain environment. The ODBC driver installation on the client PC is installed successfully and the connection to SQL is OK.

Could you check whether SQL native client is installed, if not install the native client in the workstation and then try to run the client setup.

An error during the installation of OS X !!

During the installation of OS X maverick an error occurred pointing that my Macintosh disk is damaged and can't be repaired !! The installation is not being continued and I can't go back to my old version !! However The only available choices are disk utility, terminal, firmware password utility and restore....
Please tell me what to do to at least get the important files from my disk because I never backed up :(

Select Disk Utility and try repairing the disk and disk permissions.
Do yo have access to another Mac and and external HD? If so connect your MBP to the other Mac with a Firewire cable and boot the MBP into Target Disk Mode, Transferring files between two computers using FireWire.
The other Mac will see the MBP as an external HD where you can copy your Home folder to the external HD which should be formatted OS X Extended (journaled). If you have 3rd party apps copy them also to the EHD.
Now with your files safely backed up you can go about trying to getting the MBP's drive backup and running or replaced if that's what is called for.
