hi. i'm from iran. i create apple id with my email adress([email protected]) but activation email didn't send to my email. when i enter .ir it says enter valid email adress. the activation has been sent to my gmail and yahoo. but with my email this not work correctly. can anyone help me?

Primary email address
Every Apple ID account has one primary email address, and that address is your Apple ID. When you create an Apple ID, you enter the primary address to use as your Apple ID.

no 3 .umm, an email adress can have more than 2 '.'s in it,
example:
[email protected]
would be a valid email address.
To decide what a valid address is you'd need to parse it against the correct standard.
I think however that javax.mail.internet.InternetAddress does this for you, check out the docs:

even if it parses it may not be a valid address though in that it may not actually exist.

OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport

> Go to Manage apple id and primary email address
> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation
> Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device
> Smile

In transport gateway i cannot set the notify email adress

I use TG 3.5 linux and try to config call home mailbox but in alway say invalid notify email adress and cannot leave it blank too.

The issue was found to be a coding issue and is resolved in
CSCul96202 TG - Notify email should not be domain specific
This bug was resolved on 9 Dec 2013 and should be in any Linux release of Transport Gateway code after that date.
The bug was found in the Linux version 3.5 release.

How to correct an invalid email address

I've sent an email to someone I've run across on the Internet. My message is reurned undeliverable because the addressee's adress is invalid. So I search on the Internet for another email adress which I hope is currently valid.
My problem is that I have not discovered any simple way of correcting and resending the oroginal message. I've looked high and low for this, exploring the support forms and the Mail menus. But so far, no luck.

You can either forward the original message to the new address (which will show the recipient that you have tried earlier), or just copy/paste the text of the message in a new email.

Thanks for the question. You’ll want to sign out of your iCloud account from Settings > iCloud, then sign back in with the new Apple ID. If you encounter issues in doing so, see this article:

I'd like to know how to use one email adress for multiple recipients.
this would be very useful or projects. for example;
if i send one mail to [email protected], all people in this project get an email.
I will add the people in this project myself.
I know it is possible, but I don't know how to do it ;-)

How can I delete an iCloud-Account that uses a not anymore existing email-adress?

Months ago my GMX-Account got blocked because it was hijacked by some SPAM-sending-********.
I recognized that when I was not able to log into my iTunes account and buy stuff anymore.
I changed the emailadress by setting up a new Account with a new ID I used from that day on - problem solved.
Plus: I deleted the email-adress as I was sick of it anyways - problem solved, too.
I changed all my IDs on iPhone and iPad to the new ID, except the one of the iCloud.
During that time I had already decided that I did not want to use my iClound storage anyways so I did not work on how to change the emailadress.
I want to use it now - and that is, where the problem started today:
I tried to change the adress, it is grey, cannot be changed.
I tried to log in with the emailadress, iPhone tells me: wrong password (yes, I already tried everything I ever used)
I tried deleting the account: no way, needs password.
That would not be a problem BUT:
I could not use iForgot because the emailadress does not exist anymore.
I could not use the security-questions because I. Simply. Do. Not. Remember. The. Answers. -.-
I DID remember the Username though.
So I logged in and changed the emailadresses.
With the new emailadresses I set up I was able to change the security-questions.
So THAT problem is solved.
Problem is: iCloud-emailadress is still the same and grey.
Trolled by technology and own stupidity/forgetfulness, I guess.
So: I have everything on my new emailadress BUT the iCloud storage which I am not able to use because I cannot change a thing because I forgot the password and the emailadress is no longer existing.
How do I solve that problem?

I had been asked by ICANN some days ago to do something but I thought it was a scam so ignored it. Most other users I have spoken to have never heard of ICANN or been asked to 'register' with them or whatever. Anyway, post writing to you I have now 'registered' with them . The message you go says that Apple sent to the email account you used an email to verify your email account. You have to open up that email message and then click on the link inside to complete verifying the email address.
