Invalid G/L Account

Dear All
When we try to create Purchase Requisition (PR) the system giving us the below error message.
Invalid G/L Account No. for Acct.Assign.Cat. 1
Message no. 38000
Even if we use few other Account Assign Category, the system giving the same error message. This is a newly created G/L account.

From my experience, account assignment category 1 for third party transaction.
Normally, the PR will be generated automatically when the sales order is being saved.
The correspondence G/L will purposed automatically.
And I want to know what's the business case?

Invalid hotmail email account, can't solve the problem please help

I got an email from my network required update password. I've entered her email address and password repeatedly and received the following message:
Invalid email address or password. Please verify your email address and password. The information you provided is incorrect. If the error persists contact hotmail.com (your email provider). Please try again.
Now I tried this more than 10 times from the blackberry email wizard and from my computer and still received the same messages. Also tried to change new password and set up again However still the same. I have 3 hotmail accounts, another 2 work well except my main email. (all of them are my personal email)
Anyone can help?? Have no idea what wrong with my bb or hotmail. I went to Optus today, one of a staff said Sorry i can't help u as i have no idea about blackberry!!!! please help me.

By the way, my guy feeling is this is/was a MSN/Hotmail/Livemail server issue, as only those accounts were affected. Others such as Yahoo, gmail, etc., were not.

Getting Invalid Intersection for Account with net 0 balance

Hi FDM Gurus,
We are getting an invalid intersection error for an account that nets to zero in the validate step, because the individual amounts that net to zero are coming in from the source system without an ICP member (hence mapping to ICP None).     The account in HFM is an "IsICP", so ICP None is invalid (is blocked for input by a rule).
The individual amounts in the import section include 2 source accounts that are mapped to the same account, and also mapped to the exact same dimension members for that HFM account:

In the validate step, the data is condensed into 1 line, with a zero balance.

Here is the invalid intersection report.   Interestingly, only 1 of the 2 offsetting accounts (one with the negative balance) shows up in the report:

Does anyone know how to avoid this issue?   We tried to post a journal for each line item in which we tried to 'back out' the source system amount (offsetting entry) and included another entry with a valid ICP member.   But we still get the invalid intersection error.
Is there a way to fix this (short of doing something in the import script to prevent data from importing, which we prefer not to do)?

Thanks for the reply.          Actually, in this situation, the source data is coming in with an ICP partner (999) that is mapped ato [ICP None].    It's an exceptional case where the source data in this account contained an ICP partner that we already have mapped to ICP None, and it was not possible to go back and change the source data. BUT the source account has to be mapped to an IsICP account in HFM (one-off situation).
So we posted the journal to try to zero out the balance, and make additional entry in the journal to manually move the balance to an ICP partner.
I would think if the balance is 0.00 in the account, it would not try to validate the intersection in HFM.   But it seems to be validating based on each individual source account, although they net out to zero in total for the HFM account.
I'm not sure if there is much we can do here. Just hoping maybe someone had run into the issue and could share how they resolved it...

Auth. check for BP is invalid when do account search/activity creation

Hi Experts,
I have done the configuration for BP's anthorization group(B_BUPA_GRP).
But when I do the BP Search, the authorization check for B_BUPA_GRP is invalid and all BPs are shown.
This also happened when create activity.
When choose a Partner, the authorization check is invalid , too.
System is CRM 5.0.
Please help.

Hi,
Perhaps something else to consider in your function is to include the SOUNDEX (<name>) function on the name being created against those in the table. If your users are typing in the names when creating them, then "typos" will be a problem in your search when using substr() or instr().
Note:
This will only be effective on the "English" language

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

Hi John,
There are 2 spots you can check the AP DownPayment GL:
1. GL Acct Determination - Administration / Setup / Financials - Purchasing tab. This is the overall default
2. Business Partner Master Data record - Accounting tab. This would also have the AP DP GL account and can be changed if vendor is different than GLAD setup.
You want to check the GL currency indicated in #2 compared to the vendor currency. GL would need to be the same currency or all currencies.

Are you sure this is what the error message says?
Your iPad is recognized by iTunes and when selecting sync, does the error message say that your iPad is locked and you must unlock it in order to sync?

"invalid directory" prevents second email account

My Problem:Since dumping the preferences for Mail and reinstalling my main Mail account I have been unable to enter an extra mail account. Every time I try to save the changes I get a message box: INVALID DIRECTORY THE ACCOUNT PATH BLAH BLAH IS ALREADY BEING USED BY THE ACCOUNT(my usual email address) I have checked and rechecked that my main (and working fine) account is set up correctly. Perhaps one way of solving this would be to update my copy of Mail. It is 1.3.11 (v622/624) dated 2003. I am running X3.9 I have not been able to find how to download a more up to date version of Mail. Any clues? Would that in fact be likely to fix this silly little problem? My thanks to those of you there who put your time into helping dodos like me.

I also tried deleting TB altogether and reinstalled trying the problem gmail account and it still didn't work.
While checking on the 2-factor authentication, which I don't use, i noticed something. The working gmail account allowed 'access for less secure apps' and my problem account didn't. I enabled that and was able to add it to TB. All works now!
Not sure if the less secure apps is a good thing, but its working.

Account creds invalid for LC PDF Gen w/Msft Office

Using LC ES Preview on Win XP SP2 in Virtual PC (2gb RAM).
Msft Office 2003 is installed, only user is local Administrator
As per readme, I set Logon As Service right for Administrator.
But in screen for setup, I get "Invalid credentials - the account and password ocmbination that you provided are invalid" (and suggests I deselect the Native Application Support option for PDF Generator ES
Yet in the previous screen "Native applications support for Microsoft Office - enter the user name and password for the administrator account that installed Msft Office on this system" I definitely put in the correct a/c (Administrator) and password (actually it won't allow null, which is WinXP default password situation anyway).
I'll continue setup this first time round without native app support, but would be good to know.
Actually, why does LC PDFG ES require the user name of the 'original installer' a/c for Msft Office anyway? Surely any local admin name should do??

My iTunes continues to say "Security Code Invalid" when I know it is in fact correct. I can't update my apps or purchase anything and it's extremely frustrating. Someone please help with what to do?

Every time I go on my iTunes account via my iPhone or even my computer, I get notified that my security code is invalid. My account did this a while back, but I ignored it for a while and it eventually accepted my security code. It's not doing that now. It's been a week, I need to update my apps and want to be able to purchase whatever I want. It's extremely fruststing that it won't accept my actual card security code. Someone please help?
