Invalid ID or password - only from phone
I just started getting an error when logging into this forum using my phone's stock browser that I entered an invalid screen name or password. I am sure it is the correct info and it is the same info I use when logging in using my pc, which obviously works as that's how I'm logged in now.
I tried rebooting, clearing my phone's browser cache and even clearing the data but still the problem persists. Anyone else had this?

Yes, I can log in using the My Verizon app. No problems there, just with logging into the forum using my phone. When logging in on my computer I see the dropdown you are referring to, but that is not there when I try to log in on my phone as it is using a mobile version of the site.
I believe there is a problem with the authentication server on the jive-mobile site. If I try to log in to the support forums using my droid razr (which takes me to https://vzwsupport.jive-mobile.com/#jive-login ) it gives me an error of invalid name or password. I have tried this on two browsers (the Razr's stock browser and Dolphin) and it doesn't work. I have also copied the URL and tried using it on my desktop pc. Same error. I can log in to the support forums with out error from my desktop which goes to the URL https://community.verizonwireless.com/community/droid/droid-razr/login.jspa but that is not practical for the phone as it's not optimized for a mobile display.
The problem - at least to me - seems clearly with the authentication on the mobile site. I would be interested if you have the same experience.
I'm very active in the Verizon Droid Razr support forum and get emails when people are asking for assistance. But if I click on the View Discussion email using my phone, I get taken to the discussion but am not logged in. When I click on log in (upper right corner) I go to the jive-mobile URL and am getting this error.
I would appreciate any help you can provide as it obviously makes it more difficult for me to participate in the forums this way. Thank you.

PI2.1:invalid cli credentials for password only login devices
Hi,
We've got in trouble with a LMS to PI Migration maybe because the target devices are configured for Telnet
with a password only Login in place of the the common username Password Login Dialog in this Network.
LMS seams to can handle a Password only Login CLI Dialog with all of the devices but Prime Infrastructure claims "invalid cli credentials" for most devices but it seams to work with a lower part of the devices.
What can we do that PI can handle CLI login with Password only Dialog for all devices? Customer dont want to reconfiger the Network devices for username Password Login.

Thx for your reply. Its not a question of wrong credentials. I tested exevry thing from ade+ commandline. I used a converted csv-export from LMS (where all devices was working). The problem is PI only related:
all devices in question are:
- SNMP reachable, because green check mark in device work center, but name and type is empty despite SNMP discovered infos and OID + name is written into the discovery=>reachable log if I try to discover this devices
- unmanaged, because claiming "wrong cli credential"
- ifm_inventory.log has some following dissent for all this devices:
postCollection() ... Cache status: false.
Error logging - Device <ip> Updated Successfully
delete and re-add this devices brings no improvement.

How to change the Apple ID on my iOS Device
Settings > iTunes & App stores.
Tap your Apple ID, sign out then sign back in with new AppleID.
Settings > Facetime.
Tap your Apple ID, sign out then sign back in with new AppleID.
Settings > Messages.
Turn off iMessages, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Go to 'Receive messages at' and then tap your Apple ID. Sign out of the old ID, then sign in with new Apple ID.
Settings > iCloud.
Delete the account (make sure to KEEP the information on your phone), then turn it back on with new Apple ID.
Also, delete any apps that were downloaded with the 'old' Apple ID, then reinstall them with your 'new' ID. -
I setup two iphones on "Find My Iphone App" Using the same apple id on each phone. Now the app finds only the phone I setup first. Do I need to use two different apple ids? If your answer is yes then how do I errase the setup in the second phone and assign a new id?
As TJBUSMC1973 states, and as I said earlier, the Find My iPhone app has nothing to do with your use of Find My iPhone. The app is just used if necessary to locate another iOS device from that particular iOS device. To see if both of your devices are being located in Find My iPhone, log into www.icloud.com and select Find My iPhone. Both of the devices should appear. If they do not, then go into whichever of the devices does not appear and make sure that Find My iPhone is activated. It has to be activated through iCloud, and for both to show on the same map, they both have to have the same iCloud ID.

If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device). -

By " BlackBerry Protected Data " do you mean BlackBerry ID password which we use for BlackBerry Protect ? If so , you can reset your password by following this KB Article :
KB26361 :How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password.
After reset , you can use BlackBerry protect to restore your deleted data ( If you have a backup of those deleted data ) , You can also restore your data if you ever did a backup using Desktop Software . To restore data refer to those KB Articles :

I have programmed my Iphone to automatically connect to confcalls (dialing the nbr, pausing, dialing the PIN code).
Works fine from the Iphone as such.
When I connect my Iphone in Bluetooth to the voice-driven system in my car (Mercedes C), only the phone number appears to be transmitted. Entering a conference call number via the Iphone while driving is not a good idea.
How can I fix this ?That *****. I sell electronics on ebay. Before listing them, i have to test and clean them. I have worked with microsoft Zune, you could sync via wireless through the network to your host computer.
i was hoping Apple would add that feature or the ability to connect to my computer via WiFi or Bluetooth and sync it wirelessly... It would be sweet to have the bluetooth and wireless opened up so you can do more than just connect to headphones or a headset...
I upgraded to the iPhone 4 this past december, i am on replacement # 2 or my 3rd iPhone 4... I was hoping for some upgrades in quality. Also being left handed, it seemed to drop many calls and give me very poor reception. i added a Griffin Elan Form Graphie case that covers all but the front, top button, bottom speakers and volume control buttons and the call and reception quality has improved. But I sure would have loved to see some improvements in the quality and function of the phone...

Require password ONLY when waking from sleep

There is a setting that enables a password both when waking from sleep AND when "waking" from screen saver.
Is there a way to require a password ONLY when waking from sleep, but NOT when "waking" from screen saver?
Thanks!It would appear that the two are inextricably linked. On the other hand, do you really need the screen saver? With an LCD screen it isn't really doing anything useful - you can't burn in static images nearly as easily as you can with a CRT display - and if you are using a laptop you would do much better to use the Energy Saver prefs pane to sleep the display after a period - this will extend the life of the backlight - and AFAIK no password is involved.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > General > Usage > Music (in the Storage Section) > Tap Edit > Tap the Red Circle next to All Music > Tap Delete.

Old IMAC with 10.5.6 OSX. Forgot Administrator password (which I had already changed.) Followed instructions as per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
Started up from the original OSX install disc 1 and selected "Password reset" from "utilies" in Installer. But HD icon doesn't show up. (Only install disc and admin root available:no good as the support website underscores: Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.).
What can I do?
Thanks for your suggestions. AntonioNot familiar with that version of OS X but try using Terminal and type in resetpassword. If that brings up a password reset screen is your original username shown?

Adobe id and password not recognised when sent from phone.
I can access CC from PC, Laptop, and iTablet but not when using PS Touch on android phone -- although it has worked in the past. Now I get error that ID/pw not recognised by CC.

I'm unable to download apps from phone when I got into App Store, it asks for my password but never downloads, I have to hook up to computer to download apps to my phone
Have you tried turning your phone completely off and then back on? After trying that you might want to Reset your phone by depressing the Sleep Button and the Home Button at the same time for at least 15 Seconds. Then try your App Download again. If those efforts don't work there are additional threads about various App Download issues you will want to review.

Go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, make sure you are signed into the iCloud account that contains your contacts, the turn Contacts to On. When prompted, choose merge.
