  • Need help in modifying mapping parameters of out the box mapping

    Hi There,
I am a new bee to dac.
Need help in modifying mapping parameters of out the box mapping, which is invoked by DAC task.
We got a requirement to edit mapping parameter. When I go and see parameter under mappings tab in a mapping, I could not see any values in it.
But when I set any value, and validate it. It is successful.
Is it right way to do it?
What my concern is, When I initially go and see parameter values under maapings tab in a mapping, they are blank.
Where is it storing these values?
    Thanks,
    Rag

If you modify mapping then u have to create new task in dac and dac itself craete parameter file at run time. if you want to add more parameters then do it in dac system parameters tab.
    Thanks
    Jay.

  • [WARNING] fglrx invalid map error killed my system after 3 weeks

Hi! I had to re-install my entire archinstall 64bit after 3 weeks of usage. I noticed when my system froze during a reboot the /var/log it self were going over 9GB!!!!!!!!!!! And that was because the kernel generated tons of errors concering catalyst 9.4-9.5.
I couldn't check the xorg log since my system died trying to start X (kde4), but it was blank. 9GB that's insane if you ask me, and all the errorrs were related to catalyst "fglrx fireq invalid map handle".
I tried running cat/nano on the error logs but that also generated in a massive hardware freeze (fans spins down) no wonder since the logs were filled with tons of errors.
Is there a way to tell the kernel or w/e to shut the hell up? No seriously, I don't want to re-install my laptop in less then a month.
I know amd/ati doesnt support the 2.29-30 kernel yet but is there a way to silence the errors?

  • Mapping parameters in Mainstage

Hey I'm having trouble mapping parameters to my midi keyboard in Mainstage.
I have an M-Audio Oxygen 49 midi controller and I tried clicking on something i want to control (reverb level) and then map parameter, and then I tried moving a fader on my keyboard to send a midi message, and then map parameter again but this did not work.
    Any help would be appreciated.

First step of trouble shooting: does the keyboard actually work? Open any template concert - do you get a confirmation (An alert with "Select Preset #1" or so?) that the keyboard was recognized? Go to layout mode and check if all knobs actually react to your keyboard without any mappings.
If they work, go to edit mode and map the parameter to whatever you want. It should work. You can test this with the template concerts that are shipped with MainStage.

This is a directory issue that Disk Utility cannot fix. Although it manifests itself as a software issue sometimes it may be hardware based. See DiskUtility reports "Underlying task reported failure" when repairing avolume http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1901?viewlocale=en_US". You can try using a utility like TechTool Pro, Drive Genius or Disk Warrior to repair and replace the directory. Another option would be to use the Archive and Install feature to reinstall. If the problem returns after correction you may have a failing or failed HDD.

I didn't find anything helpful googling...
Anybody have any idea that "Invalid SOS parameters for sequential JPEG" means, and if I should be concerned? As you can see, no hint in the message as to WHICH image it refers to, so I can only imagine importing a few events at a time to try to track down where it is happening, if it is something to be worried about.
    Thanks,
    Karl

That's coming from the JPEG decoding software. SOS stands for *start of scan*. A sequential JPG is an image where all the data flows from top to bottom as opposed to a progressive scan JPG were the data is interlaced.
Anyway to make a long story short, it could indicate that the software encountered corrupted JPG images. Its not a fatal error in the sense of causing a program failure just possibly an image or images that may not display or display correctly.
You could search the console logs to see if the message ever showed up from iPhoto. At this point there isn't to much you can do about it. If your library isn;'t to big you could try and give a quick look at the JPG files to see if anything looks amiss.

  • OWB 10.2 PARIS - How do you enter mapping parameters?

When I go to run or schedule my mapping, I can't seem to find anywhere where I can change my default parameters! I've been clicking and clicking to the point where my left mouse button doesn't work anymore. Can someone help while I go out and buy a new mouse.
    Thanks
    K

I am left handed so my left mouse button works the same as a normal persons right mouse button, and clicking on the mapping parameters did not work.
However, the suggestion to Tools -> Preferences -> Deployment - Process.
Set the preference “Prompt for execution parameters” works perfectly
I must've hovered very near that option in my frenzied clicking, but not on that exact one.

To me it looks like you are using two services in the group that contain ip ranges and then you are trying to add a service that does not have a range.

  • File monitor failed to start. Reason: Invalid input parameters

    Hi All.
Just a quick one here.  I've done this lots of times before, but I am working on one environment (SCO 2012 R2 UR2) where I am trying to set up a simple Monitor File activity.  However, the output I am getting from this during testing is as follows:
File monitor failed to start. Reason: Invalid input parameters.
I have seen a couple of posts around for Opalis, but these do not look to apply.
Has anyone come across this in Orchestrator rather than Opalis, and if so, is there a resolution?
    TIA
    Cheers

    Hi Shaun,
the reason for this error "File monitor failed to start. Reason: Invalid input parameters."with the "Monitor File! Activity might be:

  • Error Code:  18452 - Invalid logon parameters

We are trying to schedule several crystal reports to run automatically on our server and continue to get the following errors.
Invalid log on parameters Database Vendor Code:  18452
When we review the log in Crystal Report Viewer we are receiving the following information.
The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
    Unable to retrieve Object.
Would anyone be able to tell us what is causing these error codes?

We resolved the error by changing the logon paramater within our ODBC datasource connection.   When the crystal report was original created it was using the designers logon credentials to connect to the data source.  In order to fix this we had to change the logon parameter to the datasource logon.   The easiest way we determined that it was using the designers credentials (UserID/password) was by opening up the "set database location" tool and then we opened up the properties; there is where we seen the UserID of the designer.   To change this you might need to create a new connection and then update using the database expert and the set database location tools.

            allocvaluescharnew = alph_values
            allocvaluescurrnew = curr_values
            return             = return.
the above is a code snippet from a program we use to maintain chracteristics of a class on material masters.
The object key is indeed the object that is being classified. in this case, the material number. you must first move it to the work field to make sure there is no typing issues with the BAPI. The object table is the table which stores the OBJECT (not the classification table AUSP). The classnum is actuall the NAME of the class, and the class type is the class type (for materials, this is '001' for example.
the internal tables store the values for the characteristics, and each characteristic goes into one of the three tables, depending on its data type. in the snippet is an example of loading a "character" characteristic.
actually create a classification manually, and then check it in AUSP, and you will see how the data is stored, and this might also help you. ausp is one of about a dozen or so tables used in classification.
this comes from a working, active program, but of course, you use this at your own risk (end of disclaimer)
i hope this helps. we do a lot of classification, so if you need any further help, just ask.

  • Invalid Mapping with SIT for an outport inside a subsystem in a the simulink model.

    Hello everybody,
I am trying to use SIT to target simulink models on a PXI target.
The simulink model contains a subsystem with an outport. I have created
a mapping between the signal coming out of that outport to a waveform
chart on the host VI. The mapping works fine when I run the model on
the local host but becomes invalid when I target the dll to a pxi
    target.
I have been able to create a very simple simulink model and host VI
that is mimicking this problem. This model does
not do anything useful and is made to only demonstrate just this problem. I am attaching the model and the userinterface here.
    Note:
I have already taken care of the fact that I can not use signal storate
reuse, block reduction and also cant use linked or linked+masked
subsystems. A testimony to this is the fact that I am able to create
mapping with other signals in the subsystem. Also outport is a virtual
block in simulink so I have created a testpoint on the signal going
into the outport to be able to probe it.
Any kind of suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vicku.

You have two options to be able to probe this signal in the subsystem that should work fine for this small example you posted. Let me know if they also apply to your actual model.
You have the outport itself set as a test point currently in your subsystem block. Try setting the wire coming out of the subsystem outport as a test point and then rebuilding your dll. That should make the outport signal probable.
Instead of probing the actual outport, you could probe the signal in the subsystem that is wired into the outport. In the case of your example that would be using_subsystem/Subsystem/Sum1:1.
    Hope this helps!

I have created a java server page which displays city streets, county roads, etc. and it intermittantly (1% of the time) will give an error when trying to display a map tile. If I zoom out the tile displays ok, and if I zoom in it looks ok, and if I zoom in/out from mapbuilder or from the server itself it also looks ok. Can anyone suggest why this is occurring, and what I need to do to solve this problem. You can look at a png of the error at:

Yes, thank you. That fixed it. Do you have any idea why this occurs. Am I doing something wrong in my rendering process? It is very intermittent.
