Invalid media data found in slideshow

I am trying to send my slide show to iDVD via iPhoto share and I keep getting:
INVALID MEDIA DATA FOUND IN SLIDESHOW
All the photos in the slideshow were taken by me. I have made and shared many slideshows
with no problems.
All the songs are from my iTunes library etc...
Can anybody help me please!
Thanks

I am from france , and on iphoto09, i think i have the same problem , as i want to export a slideshow of 350 pictures, i have the answer of "données de support présentes dans la séquence incorrectes"
but it's worked for 20 slides ?

  • Exporting Slide Show- Invalid media was found in the movie

I have been trying all day to send a photo album to Itunes to put on my Ipod. Every time I try I eventually get the message that Invalid Media Data was found in the movie. What does this mean and how to I fix this.

I am having the same problem. I am exporting a slide show (450 pics) and after A LONG TIME (probably double the previous time it took in the previous iPhoto), I get an error message that says 'Invalid Media Data was found in the Movie'. I also thought it might be protected mp3s (I have music with the slideshow) and I found one 'possible' problem song file, but after I corrected it, I get the same error.
I have noticed that iPhoto 09 gives an import error for some types of .jpeg files (in particular those imported after scanning using the Image Capture program). I also noticed as I was editing the slide show that there are 5-6 pictures that come up black when you flip thru them in the viewer/editor. They show up in the scan, but do not in the viewer.
I have run the slideshow in 'play' mode several times without issue. I urgently need this file for tomorrow. If anyone has any suggestions on workarounds today, I would appreciate it.

  • Invalid Media Error with Slideshow

I am trying to export a iPhoto 09 Slideshow to iDVD. It seems to take MUCH longer than it used to with iPhoto 08. The slideshow has about 900 images in it. I imported the images directly into the iPhoto Library from an external folder.
After about 3 hours of exporting, I get a message that says, "Invalid Media found in the movie" and the export stops.
What can I do to get this slideshow to export?
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
Sorry I don't have an answer for you but I discovered this problem last night. So you are not alone with this.
I was thinking this could be related to the music I had also attached to the slide show. Though I will have to experiment a bit more to prove this thought. If this is the case, then one workaround I will try will be to export the slide show only and add the music later in iMovie for instance... But I don't consider that a solution even if it is possible.
    Regards,
    Steve

  • "no data found" run-time error masking SQL/report mismatch

    Hi all,
At last, figured out a vexing problem and wondering if anyone else either:
    a) has also hit the problem, and hopefully
    b) has figured out a clever way around it.
Namely, in our AppEx apps, we rely on SQL query generation from PL/SQL packaged functions. This "best practice" promotes reuse, automated testing, etc. Great idea - works great.
However, we've repeatedly come across a situation where we go to run a page with a report on it only to get a "report error: ORA-01403: no data found" message where the report should be. Not much to go on. After trial and error, it turns out that simply going to the Region Definition page (where the PL/SQL function call is defined) and clicking the "Apply Changes" button cleared the problem up.
Mystifying because the actual SQL query generated by the PL/SQL is valid (we've got a nightly testing job that pulls the PL/SQL function calls out of the AppEx metadata tables, executes them to get back the SQL and then validates the SQL).
Turns out this problem looks to be a result of columns changing in the actual SQL itself, and hence not matching up to the Region Attributes (column names, one assumes) that AppEx knows about. Simply clicking Apply Changes causes AppEx to validate the returned query and then it adjusts the column attributes (one assumes) so that things match up.
    So - the $64,000 question(s):
    1) Are there any cool AppEx APIs to be able to try and detect this situation? Given an app of middling complexity (50-100 pages, each with various queries/reports), this is not an attractive issue to deal with manually.
    2) Any cool AppEx APIs to fix, or auto-sync these situations? (Essentially programmatically calling the "Apply Changes" button if you will).
At a minimum, it would be great if AppEx could be updated to put out some kind of more informative error message when this occurs - maybe something along the lines of "Region Attributes Do Not Match Data Returned from Query", or something like that at least.
    Thanks for any input/ideas,
    Jim C.

Thanks to all for your prompt responses.
Vikas actually did me the favor of pretty much clarifying my info for me (tks Vikas). Yes, to all the above. It's PL/SQL code generating a SQL query, so 1 is (a); we want to use query-specific columns so it is (2a). And yes, the whole problem is that the something does change to cause the SELECT statement column list to change...nature of the beast, so "don't do that" doesn't really help here.
Scott - sorry, should have been more explicit. Basically, we have a PL/SQL function behind a report that returns a SQL statement for the report. If that PL/SQL code changes to add a new column to the report (without going to the corresponding Report Attributes page and clicking the "Apply Changes" button to get AppEx to revalidate the query), then you wind up with this "no data found" error msg, which doesn't exactly point you to the root of the problem.
It seems as though the "parse at compile-time" is really what's going on here. There must be some kind of "run-time" check going on as well, that is resulting in the "no data found" message. Seems as though it ought to be fairly straightforward to add some kind of check at run-time to handle that exception a little cleaner. Is there an official process to register a "Request for Process Enhancement" for AppEx to do this?
In the meantime, thank you Vikas for the pointer to the APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_RPT_COLS view - that looks like it will do the trick nicely. Given that, we can now add logic to our nightly "app tester" job that can compare what columns AppEx expects to find in a given report (for a given page) with the actual SQL (coming back from the PL/SQL function call) to essentially "validate" the AppEx meta data and at least let us know when these things get out of sync.
BTW - if anyone would be interested in the actual contents of that "app tester" logic, I'd be happy to post it (someplace...here? Studio site?). It's basically just a PL/SQL block of code that currently runs in cron that just validates any SQL embedded in our app. (I suppose it is a little "hard-coded" since it does use our naming conventions for packages/functions to parse the PL/SQL calls from the Meta Data but it might still serve as a usefull starting point...) Since our AppEx app(s) sit on top of a database schema that is in fairly constant flux, we need the ability to know when somebody has changed something in the schema that needs to be accounted for in AppEx. The job primarily just parses the AppEx meta data to find PL/SQL function calls that return SQL, executes that PL/SQL to get the generated SQL, then just validates that SQL and reports back any invalid SQL calls. Perhaps we're in some unusual development environment (15-20 people working on a database schema with 700-800 tables/views) but it seems as though it would be fairly easy, for anybody using PL/SQL to generate SQL (which is a GREAT and powerful thing, by the way - thanks to whoever thought that up in AppEx land) to run into this issue.

  • XML Publisher Report - Invalid character was  found in text content

    Hi Techies,
    Version Background
    Oracle apps : 11.5.10
    Oracle 9i Database
    Oracle Reports 6i
I created a XML output type concurrent program and attached a data definition & template to it.
My program completed with status "Warning".
The Error is : An invalid character was found in text content.
Then i downloaded the XML and opened it in notepad++. I found there are 2 weird characters like this ( , )
FYI, It is a non-Ascii character so not able to paste it in this forum text field. the characters looks like double sided arrow and a forward arrow.
I also tried loading the XML locally from RTF Template. Again it throws me same error
Error No: -1072896760: An invalid character was found in text content.
    Additional Information:
Data is coming from table "gl_alloc_batches.description"
    Encoding Type: UTF-8
Please Help me how to handle such a non-ascii characters

  • Help with ORA-01403: no data found please.

First off I'd like to apologise for my lack of PL/SQL experience, what follows may seem naive, but I guess we all have to start somewhere.
I'm trying to create a function which determines an employee's Annual Holiday Entitlement by comparing their length of service against a lookup of entitlement values. Due to the complexity of the application I'm targeting there are a number of other factors to be take into consideration, but this is the basic idea of what I want to achieve.
I've started by taking a working SQL Server 2005 function and converted this using the translation scratch pad in SQL Developer 1.5.1 I'm now hand cranking the subtleties into the script but when I debug the code I'm getting "ORA-01403: no data found" at almost every SELECT. In fact the only successful select is from the ABS_SYSTEM_CONTROLS table. I can handle the first few failures by setting default values in the variables that I'm trying to load, but this isn't an option when it comes to selecting the DATE_OF_START from the PERSON table.
I've sure I've probably made some fundamental error, but can't spot it myself. Any help would be most welcome.
I've included the entire script below for your entertainment ;-)
    Thanks
    Phil.

Your code is extremely procedural - whilst you could ultimately get it to work like this, it is not the most efficient way of doing it.
You should think about reducing your code to one sql statement if at all possible - this reduces the amount of context switching that needs to take place (eg. Going from PL/SQL to SQL back to PL/SQL to SQL, etc) and is usually much easier to maintain and test. You could do this by joining the various tables together, (and you might want to think about using nvl() to combine the two queries on the PERSON table!).
Also, you've labelled your parameters "v_" and your variables "v_" ... common convention uses "p_" for parameters, to allow for easy distinction between parameters passed in and variables declared during the course of the procedure/function.
As to the char() defined column - is there any chance that you could change that? As you've found out, chars are usually not a good datatype to use! Storing numbers in a char/varchar2 column is a no-no too, as you then run the risk of having invalid numbers stored in the column.

  • Invalid media. Cannot create file" popup when generating

Okay, the background. I'm currently using RoboHelp HTML 11.0.3.268, with the latest updates as I write this, having updated from RoboHelp HTML 9. (I know that people will ask, and I understand, so I'm stating as much information up front to ensure that nobody has any questions of their own.) My main RoboHelp project is broken down into eight separate subprojects, with an output of CHM and WebHelp HTML files. In addition, my supervisor had an issue with viewing the new RoboHelp 11-generated HTML files in Google Chrome, so I found and added the RH11 files recommended by RoboHelp Help (WebHelp issues in RoboHelp versions 10 and 11). Immediately after doing this, though, I cannot generate WebHelp files. As soon as I select between any of the WebHelp Settings menu, a popup appears that reads "Invalid media. Cannot create file", followed with the directory path of the project's main .htm page.  Short of reinstalling RoboHelp HTML, what options do I have to be able to generate a valid set of WebHelp files?

Here's the RH 11.0.3 files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B97LY22mEkjqemJobkRmRmg2RFU/view?usp=sharing Add the files to the template_stock folder.
The Chrome freezing up should be solved in RoboHelp 10/11. On RoboHelp 9, no amount of fixes will make Chrome work locally. If your manager tries the 11 WebHelp it should work fine.
    Kind regards,
    Willam

  • LOV cancel button displays 'No Data Found'

I have 5 fields on a form where the users can search different information based on what they type into the search fields. Once they have their search criteria they hit a 'Search' button, I have a when_button_pressed button trigger on the search button. On this trigger I have logic to build a record group dynamically, after the RG gets populated dynamically I am using the SHOW_LOV bulit-in to present my LOV to the end user. All this works well, however, there is a new requirement in where the client wants a 'no data found' message displayed on the screen when users type arbitrary/invalid information on any of the search fields. I was able to accomplish this by simply putting the following code in the ELSE part of my main IF statement for my LOV.
    ELSE
         IF NOT SHOW_LOV('LIAB_LST_LOV')THEN
              display_message('No Data Found');
              END IF;
    END;
The code above displays the message they want to see when search users search on invalid criteria. So finally, here is the issue, when they search on VALID criteria the LOV obviously pops up without any issues but if users click the 'Cancel' button in the LOV window they get the 'No Data Found' message above too. They only want to see the message if there is invalid data searched.
How can I make sure that after the LOV gets populated my code doesn't return the No Data Found message when they press Cancel on the LOV?
    Thanks,
    Adrian

    Hi Francois,
I used the get_group_row_count you suggested and I was able to incorporate it into my code without any issues and more importantly it is working now! This is what I did, after populating the record group, I checked to see if the row count was greater than 0 for the RG if it was not then I’m displaying the message. It is working correctly.
    Thank you!

    Hi
I have been tearing my hair out over this, but found this thread which seems to be exactly what I am seeing

However the answer, scars me a bit and I need someone to step me through it.
I have run SMBIOS viewer and spotted an odd looking character after the version 1 (looks like two
small square zeros) removed it from registry but this did not solve the issue.

Have you tried to reset WEI as I mentioned above? What is the result?
For HW info, we can also run msinfo32.exe to display the info.
we can also reset BIOS to the default setting to check the issue.

  • NAC invalid protocol data

    Hi,
We are running 802.1x with a customer, using Cat2950's, ACS 4.01 and the meetinghouse Aegis supplicant. On top of all this we authenticate against Microsoft AD and do dynamic VLAN assignment.
    This all works fine.
Last friday we implemented L2 NAC (CTA 2.0.0.30), and at first it seem to work great. But, on monday morning a lot or problems where reported. The ACS log showed lots of 'invalid protocol data' messages and some 'CS user unknown'. Strange because we do not have users stored in the ACS itself, only dynamic ones.
Has anyone encountered these messages in an implementation like this?

Hi, we eventually found out what the cause of the problem was. We opened a TAC case for it.
The problem is caused by (too) much data which have to be send from the CTA agent to the ACS server. There is a timeout that kicks in which cannot be modified in the older CTA versions.
The solutions is to install the latest CTA agent. After installation, in the install dir of this agent you will see a file called CTAD.INI. You have to modify the value of PPwaittimeout.
    It looks like this;
;The PPWaitTimeout parameter represents the maximum time allowed, in seconds, to complete the processing of all plug-ins.
    ; Default value: 5 seconds
    ; Range of values: 1 - 300 seconds
    PPWaitTimeout=10
The number of seconds is something that you have to try out. Don't forget to remove the ; when you modify the setting...
    Hope this helps...

  • 2 level schema import: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found...

    HI
I'm writing an application that gathers xml documents into batches, sends these batches to translation, receives them from translation and unpacks them.
My documents are ads. I have a schema (x1.xsd) describing them. This schema imports another schema (x2.xsd). None of these are controlled by me (I need a very good reason to change them).
I have created a new schema (x.xsd) for my batches. This schma imports the ad schema (x1.xsd).
When I validate an example ad (x1.xml) using the ad schema (x1.xsd), validation is OK. This is the same for XML Spy, oracle.xml.schemavalidator.XSDValidator and org.dom4j.io.SAXReader
When I validate an example batch (x.xml) with the same ad data in the batch,
XML Spy says: Unexpected element 'AD' in element 'ADS'. Expected: AD
oracle.xml.schemavalidator.XSDValidator says: XML-24521: (Error) Element not completed: 'ADS'org.dom4j.io.SAXReader says: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'AD'. One of '{"x/translation":AD}' is expected.
By changing my batch xml by removing xmlns="x/ad" from the AD tag and prefix all "x/ad"-owned tags with ad:, I can make all validators validate.
But I don't see the reason for this, and thus have some problems telling the supplier that we need to change the schema and xml...
Notice that I do not have the corresponding problem in the x1.xsd / x2.xsd relationship !!??
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/business-process/" But at the runtime, I cannot avoid this attribute in the XML message which I should unmarshal it.
    Need help to resolve this.
    ..Thiruppathy.R

    Hi,
So, the error is because of the validation failure due to the xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/business-process/". And because of some data is missing in the textFieldElement, which is required by xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/business-process/".
Pls correct me if I am wrong?
But, as you understood, the textFieldElement has simple data. In that case, Is there any way to by pass the validation for xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/business-process/", without removing it from the XML sample? Also please note, but the validation should happen for the xsd, that I have.
    Thanks
