Invalid security code, apps wont open! help help help!

I have the iphone 3Gs and up until three days ago it never let me down. Now I am so furious and nor apple or at&t have done anything to help me resolve this problem or talk to someone that can fix this error that is none other then APPLES fault. I understand that at&t just provides us with the services but I am truely dissapointed that they couldn't connect me with the right person to help me out. After getting ahold of a local apple store they connected me to a REAL person. However after the two hour struggle they were no such help! They told me I would need to pay $29.99 for customer support,this is the fee for a 30 DAY support plan. Can you say RIP OFF?? I have been googling the problem and have become even more furious after reading that a lot of people have the same problem and the fix seems impossible. I updated the phone to see if it would fix it but it made it worst. My apps will not open that I have gotten from the itunes store, only ones that are default to the iphone. WHAT DO I DO? THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZZZZZY!

I can understand how unhappy you can be this is very unfortunite. I really dont think there is a fix to this you can handle yourself if you have forgotten your security code. The only answer is to pay apple to carry out the service and have the problem fixed.
At the end of the day we need security like this in case our phones were stolen or lost. Its nobodies fault!

    I've recently started to use my Macbook Pro, and some apps won't open. I've tried to update the software many times, but it still won't open. I really wan't to buy Lion from App store, but (once again) it won't open.
    I've also tried to use the Application Disc that comes with every Mac, put that doesn't work either, and when im trying the Software Update option it says no updates are availible.
    When I last used my Macbook Pro, I started to delete some programs that took space on my harddrive, and some of these programs were App Store, iPhoto and iMovie etc. When I use the Application Disc, only iMovie and iPhoto(etc. other programs) are updated.
    This shows up when I try to open App Store.

    iTunes Store: My credit card's security code or zip code does not match my bank's records
    For a standard iTunes account you need a valid payment method even for free apps and app updates.
    What is making it think that you own money for an app upgrade?

    Then restore the iPod.  First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

    Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
    And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    No this was absolutely of no help what so ever!!!!1I have had this issue before and it was also a nightmare. I don't understand why you have to go thru so much pain until you can talk to a real person. I don't have 48 hours. I use this app to make money. I can't update it, so I can't use it, all because I can't update my info, which is clearly on the Apple side. Not my bank (like they first want to say), not me, I know who I am, but it must be something on apple's side. And to wait 48 hours for an email response to tragic . I can't believe a company with as much assets as Apple can't get a real person to help me sort this out. I had this same problem years ago, and it was the same mess. Whay do I keep doing this?     Basically when I try updating an app it says to login. Ok say once I log in it makes me update billing info. When I put my cc info in (which has a 0$ balance) it says invalid security code. This is complete ********, I can't even download FREE apps OR update the ones I have. Im considering going back to android. This is ridiculous.

    you cannot place a card on the account that has no balance to it...
    you can hit the "None" option if you owe nothing to the itunes store

    Well, This just started happening after I downloaded the new version of iTunes. I needed to change my billing info, just like it seems everyone else has been doing and getting the same problem I have "invalid security code", You know the nice little 3 digit number on the back of the card? Yea, well I had used this card with iTunes once before and it worked perfectly, it is a pioneer debit mastercard. Now, the thing thats ******* me of really bad is (no, not that its not accepting the security code) I've been charged for buying an app I have yet to receive. So this is telling me there is a flaw in the programming some where, to be told by the program that my security code is wrong while at the same time deducting money from my account and not providing me the application.

    Really? It is showing up in your iTunes purchase history?
    Or is there simply a $1 hold showing up on your card, to verify the account is good?
    iTunes does this whenever you enter new card. The hold will be removed usually within 24 hours.

    I'm not sure if I am posting in the correct area of this page but oh well. I recently received a iphone 4 from my husband. And after having the phone for one week, I could not download any apps to my phone because of billing info or invalid security code. Here's what worked for me. If you do not have any money on the card, it will continue to display invalid security code.  Hope this helps. Good luck!!!

    The 'invalid security code' error you are receiving doesnt necessarily mean you have entered your security code wrongly. It's hard to make a mistake if youre only typing in 3-4 digits. It may either be an issue with your bank, or an incorrectly formatted billing address. You can either contact your bank for details why yor card was rejected, or go to the Apple ID website (http://appleid.apple.com) to see if you entered your billing address correctly.
    NOTE! If you have a U.S. billing address, you have to make sure the address on your account matches EXACTLY what the U.S. Postal Services has. You can get the EXACT CORRECT FORMAT here: (http://zip4.usps.com). Type in your billing address, and USPS will show you the correct one.

    I tried to download an update to a free app and it ask for password like normal but then asked to sign in to apple id. So did password again and went straight to internet with a screen pop up asking for security code. I did and said invalid security code. I updated all my info cause got a new visa debit card. How am I suppose to get this fix? Please can someone help me out?

  • Mail app wont open since 10.5.6 update

    I updated yesterday from 10.4 to 10.5.6 to get ilife. Since then, mail mail app wont open. I click, one bounce and nothing! When I go to restart my G5 it shows mail as being open. I can open a new viewer from the upper tool bar, this will shoe me my folders, but wont open, and nothing appears in my inbox. I can see all my messages and send and receive via web on mobile me. Ive tried syncing... seems the issue is mail not opening to begin with. I getting a wee bit desperate!
