Invalid Segment Alignment

I'm trying to load an .ipa file (on mac using the application loader).
After few minutes i get an error message say
ERROR ITMS -9000 : "Invalid segment alignment".
My .ipa file was created with flash builder 4.6,
Flex sdk version 4.6 (build 23201)
Air version 15.
What do I have to do to fix this problem.

This is my first time submitting an app to the app store. I've done ad-hoc distribution before, but my client needs this app on close to a thousand of their iPads, and they have corporate offices everywhere, so B2B is the way I have to go.
Everything is built and tested and works fine. Certificates and Provisioning Profiles are all fine. I am at the last possible step and when I go to submit the .ipa file in Application Loader 3.0, I can't shake this message...

Here's the details...
The app was built in Adobe Flash CC 2014 using AIR for IOS 14.0. I used my PC for the actual building/publishing of the app and then transferred the .ipa file to my Macbook when I tested it and everything was finalized by the client. Application loader will not let me deliver the app to iTunes connect for submission. I keep getting this error.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've installed Flash CC on my Macbook and tried publishing again. All the Certificates and Provisioning Profiles were made and downloaded on the Macbook. I've tried submitting .ipas that were published in AIR for IOS 14.0 and 13.0. I've tried uninstalling xCode 6 and Application Loader 3 and using older versions. So far, nothing has worked.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm really in a jam here. My client needs their app and I can't fix this last issue. It's very difficult because Adobe Customer Support says that the problem is Apple's Application Loader since the app works fine and distributes without problem ad-hoc. Apple Customer Support says they can't help either, since the app was built in a 3rd party software and not in xCode. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be amazing.

There's a huge issue with this on Adobe's developer forums.
This issue is happening to people everywhere, and it's only been happening for about 20 days or so. Before that Flash CC apps uploaded fine.
There is a successful workaround to the problem that a couple of guys came up with, but it's all terminal coding kind of stuff, and that's miles beyond my comprehension. That kind of coding is way past me, which is why I built it using Flash to begin with, because Action Script is simple. It would take me longer to figure out the work around that it did for me to build the app itself. lol
Any other ideas???

Solution to ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Segment Alignment."

I was using Flex 4.13 SDK and AIR 14 SDK. When I build a release version of my iOS app for the iTunes App Store, I received the following error.
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Segment Alignment. This app does not have proper segment alignment and should be rebuild with the latest version of Xcode. Please contact Developer Technical Support if you need further assistance."
To resolve this problem I had to install the Apache Flex SDK with Flex SDK 4.13 and AIR SDK 15.0.302. I installed the FlexSDK and AIR SDK with the Apache Flex installation binary.
For many of you, this should be enough to rebuild and run your application. However, after I built an ad-hoc version of my iOS app, and transferred it to my iPhone 4 (iOS 8.0.2) and iPad 2 (iOS 8.1), the app crashed immediately after launch.
If I rebuilt my App in debug mode (-debug-interpreter), it ran correctly.
However, I found a reference on an Adobe message board to a command line parameter, useLegacyAOT, which indicated that the poster had some success with this command line option after his app crashed.
I added the option, -useLegacyAOT yes to the build environment.
This option tells the compiler to disable fast packaging. However, the new linker in AIR 15.0.302 still aligns segments correctly.
Don't do this unless you have to. But this seemed to work for me, and I was able to submit my iOS App to the iTunes App Store.

Invalid Segment Alignment - Flash Builder 4.7 on Windows

I received the following message when I attempted to submit my app to apple:
Invalid Segment Alignment - This app does not have proper segment alignment and should be rebuilt with the latest version of Xcode. Please contact Developer Technical Support if you need further assistance.
While this issue is being discussed for Flash CC 2014 on Mac, I am producing the IPA via Flash Builder 4.7 on Windows, and then offloading that to a Mac to upload with Application Loader.
Is there a workaround for Flash Builder 4.7 on Windows? What about Flash Builder 4.7 on Mac? (theoretically I could temporarily transfer my creative cloud license over from one of the two machines that have it, and publish from Flash Builder there... but this is really rather annoying. Will do it if it's the only way though)

David, the other thread is quite long, but the bottom line is: you need to the use latest (15.0.302) AIR SDK Beta to build your IPA file, whether on Windows or Mac.
I'm not a Flash Builder user, but there's a documented process for overlaying the AIR SDK into Flash Builder - I believe this is still applicable.

I've updated XCode and still get this same error. I've installed adobe air 17 beta and adobe air SDK too.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this error?

I keep getting this now too, using AIR 13, if I try and use 16 none of the embedded fonts work.... HELP!

ITMS - 90179 Invalid Code Signing / ITMS - 90209 Invalid Segment Alignment

I've been getting these two errors no matter what I try. I've deleted all my profiles and certificates, remade them and even remade the App ID multiple times and nothing happened and still the same error. I've updated XCode too and still the same errors.
I used a Wildcard App to create my .ipa file in Flash Pro CC selecting the Apple App Store and tried to publish it through application loader.
Is there any solution to these two problems? Thanks.

Invalid segment length (LL) of [1804] in input object-Using J2C Connector

Hello,
I have been struggling with this issue for the past 1 week .I am using J2C Connector tools to generate beans that lets us to communicate to cobol programs.
In cobol code we have declared LL as like this.
05 LL PIC S9(4) COMP.
05 ZZ PIC XX.
Using J2C Connector tools for this cobol programs(input and output records) total 5 fils are generated. Those are
InputRecord.java,OutputRecord.java,
java beans:Interface1.java,Interface1Impl.java
Command Bean: RetrieveDetails.java.
Here on i am setting all screen values and IMS related stuff in inputrecord
and executing with this input on commandbean object,then we will get the output record contains all the output data.
Here the problem is when i am setting the LL value like this and executing i am getting the follwing error.

"Invalid segment" when shrinking a partitioned table

I'm encountering the following error when trying to shrink space compact for a partitioned table. Would you know how can I go about this?
I need to make it work.

Yes, that would be the right thing to do to check how and where MV is being used and what downtime you can get to fix this. Check if you can change the Materialized view to create based on primary key instead of Row id.
Steps would be
1 drop the materialized views related
2 drop the materialized views logs
3 shrink the tables and indexes
4 recreate the materialized views log
5 recreate the materialized views
Also, there is a bug with the primary key as well. Check this

When you get a crash inside malloc, it is usually because a bad pointer was
passed to the free() routine.
free() usually keeps all the pointers passed in until the next malloc()
then it merges all the recently free'd blocks into the tree, before allocating
the new memory block.
Because of that algorithm, errors in calling free() often show up crash
when calling malloc().
You can try using the "check" command in dbx to check your malloc and free
calls. You can read the online help topics for `help check' or `help rtc'
(from inside the dbx command shell)

Invalid address alignment

I have a C++ application built with Roguewave and Visibroker on Sunsolaris. The server crashes for cerain type of inputs with 'invalid address alignment' errors. I used insure++ to build the application. Though insure++ shows some scope for memory leaks, at the time of input it does not show any specific leak. What should I do.

If you try to get sqlerrm, and sqlerrcode, probably you will be able to solve this issue. I feel that this is something to do with C code not with Oracle. You may want to check the variables data types declared in the program and existing types in database. Good luck.

No longer able to submit app to iTunes.

Today I am trying to submit a new version of an app to iTunes with the application loader but keeps coming up with the following error. The app was submitting fine last Friday. Any help or fixes will be much appreciated.

Hi i have executed to system liker , exactly how it is written after i exported my app using Flash CC ( i ve used the same sdk in system linker ) , but i showed an error i think is simple :
SDK is missing file /Applications/Adobe Flash CC/AIR3.6/lib/aot/bin/ld64/ld64
I think it is because i moved the ld64 to ld64_orig and the creation of the syslink was not perfect , i ve checked in the folder "<sdk>/lib/aot/bin/ld64" the ld64 is there as a link .
but the problem is that the ld doest not exist in "/usr/bin/" .
so what can i do i think is simple ?/

Errors in app submission phase.

When I attempt to submit an app to the app-store via application loader I get hit with a wall of errors.
(The app is intended only to test submission process before I move onto the next phase which, is rapid prototyping all it'sjust a simple abstract drawing on frame 1 with no action script.)
(I used FL CS6 with the latest updates)
(I do all of my developing in windows the mac is strictly for submitting apps)
(I put in .png icons for every size available within FLCS6 which is 29x29,57x57,114x114,512x512,48x48,72x72,50x50,58x58,100x100,144x144,1024x1024.)

There are search helps configured for the dataelements in ACTUPG.ELG. These search helps were created by mistake by the system.
The search helps can be deleted manually in the shadow instance.
In this case you should remove these fields in se11 (in your shadow instance) as the Search help shouldn't exist.
You should do this step for all data elements shown in the log ACTUPG.ELG:
For example: SE11 -> /BI0/OICH_AT -> Change -> Tab "Further characteristics"
1. Goto SE11:
2. Select Data type and fill "/BI0/OICH_AT" and display
3. Select the tab "Further Characteristics" and
4. Remove the values for fields "Name" and "Parameters"
then click on icon "Activate"
Please do the same for the other object.
But before performing above steps you need to unlock the shadow instance by the following command:
SAPup unlockshd <SID>
(if using SAPup)
SAPehpi unlockshd <SID>
(if using SAPehpi)
Also do not forget to lock the shadow system again after performing the steps and continuing the upgrade by the following command:
SAPup lockshd <SID>
(if using SAPup)
SAPehpi lockshd <SID>
(if using SAPehpi)
You can logon to your shadow system with any different user than DDIC.
