"Invalid Serial Number" alert when registering Time Capsule

Hi,
Today I tried to register a few Apple products through my Express Lane account. I succeeded in registering an iMac, an iPhone 4 and a MacBook, but when I tried to register my Time Capsule I get the following error:
"We're sorry, but that is not a valid serial number. Please try again."
I checked that the serial number printed in the bottom of the Time Capsule was the same as the one that appears in the Airport Utility, and it is.
I copied and pasted it, as well as typing it myself.
I don't really know what else to do, I tried to get support on the product through Express Lane but I'm required to enter the serial number, and so I get the same error.
Is there any solution besides calling Apple Support? I don't live in the US and there is no official Apple support here, so I'd have to make an international call but they're quite expensive.

AppleCare provides support for the AirPort or Time Capsule generally only if they are purchased at the same time with an Apple desktop or laptop computer. Thus you should not have to enter a serial number for these devices when doing so. However, if you bought your Time Capsule independently, you still may be covered. I would check with your local Apple Store for their specific support policy on this.

    I am retiring an old PC that had Acrobat 9 Standard installed on it.  I retrieved the serial number using JellyBean keyfinder.  When I try to install Acrobat 9 Standard on the replacement PC and enter the serial number I get an error that the serial number is invalid.  As you would expect, Adobe support will not help.  So is there anything I can do?
    The first four digits of the serial # are: 1016

  • Acrobat XI Invalid Serial Number After Failed Install

    Hello,
       We currently have Adobe Acrobat XI on an enterprise license. I went to install this on 3 of our Windows 7 tablets. Prior to my attempt, I removed Adobe Reader XI which is what I always do. After that I started the installer on the machine and entered the key just fine. All 3 tablets got stuck around 96-97% and failed with an error 1935. I then followed the instructions located here:

      Following a reboot, I tried to install again and now I am receiving the "Invalid Serial Number" error when trying to click "Next" on the installer. It won't even let me choose install trial and go. The next button does nothing when selecting trial. I tried running the offical Adobe Acrobat Cleaner and the Adobe CS6 cleaner (since Acrobat XI is part of CS6 technically). Both programs found items to delete but following a reboot I'm still receiving the same error. I also have other XI enterprise serials available and none of them work. I have a feeling something happened on the tablets that is causing the installer to think it's the wrong version or type for those serial numbers.
      Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    I have a retail copy of "Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard" with a valid serial number I am trying to install. I understand that the activation servers are down, so I had downloaded the installer executable from the Adobe website so I can install without communicating with the activation servers. (22001904.exe)
    I am now repeatedly receiving a "Invalid Serial Number" message when trying to install. I have verified with Adobe customer service that my serial is valid and I have the correct installation executable. Aside from that the Adobe customer service have been support me any further, and suggested I turn to the community based forums.
    Any work around for this or known fixes? Thanks!

To use AA7 with Win 7, 32 or 64-bit you will have to add a PS printer. The Adobe PDF printer from AA7 will not run on Win7 and AcroTray will fail also. To get around the problem you will have to install a PS printer, either from Adobe or one of the HP color PS printer drivers. After installing, go to the properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and change the port to FILE. You will always have an extra step in the PDF creation due to the failure of AcroTray. You will have to open the file created by the printer in Distiller to create a PDF.
    You will also want to do the updates (ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/).

    If it was an upgrade version, it may be you are being asked for the qualifying product S/N and are entering the new S/N instead. That would cause a problem.

    I have my original software CD and serial number but understand that I need to use the downloaded program because Adobe no longer supports the activation code required for installing from the disc.  I was under the impression that I was to use the original serial number.  This is what I used when reinstalling my CS2 Photoshop  in the same circumstances.
    I downloaded 22001904.exe and ran it but when it gets to the serial number I receive invalid serial number message no matter how I enter the number.  I even tried cutting and pasting from my Adobe profile, since I have registered the program w/ Adobe previously along with other Adobe programs.
    Can you advise me how to proceed?

    This is very frustrating! I can't get my program (CS5 Design standard) to load. I had a computer crash, and I get an "Invalid Serial Number" message every time.     I've been told that Web Chat is handled from the US time zones so if you're in a different part of the world, you may have to accommodate that.
    Serial number issues cannot be handled in a forum because (obviously), you're communicating a serial number which would  be broadcast to the entire internet. Also, few Adobe employees are on most of the forums. There are NO Adobe employees on this forum.

    That happened to me trying to install Photoshop Elements 12 on Windows 7 64 bit. In all my years of working with these programs, that was the first time that ever happened. Is your Premiere Elements 10 on Windows or Mac. I think that i remember some Mac issues in this regard.
    Activation problems can only be corrected by Adobe, and John T. Smith's second link in post 1 can help you with that.
    But, before you seek Adobe Chat, shut down the computer and try the installation again.
    I was about to contact Adobe Chat, when the second or third time around, the serial number took. Servers issues??? Never did find out. And, I was not typing in the wrong numbers.
    As an aside, if you have Premiere Elements 10 and NVIDIA video card, please let us know if you experience any unexplained display issues. There is an epidemic of such going around. The fix, for now, is to roll back the video card drive version. More on that as indicated.

    I have an authentic version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Everything was working fine and then out of the blue the program starts asking me for a serial number.

    I spent exactly 57 minutes on the phone with customer support yesterday, and after moving the SLStore file (license keys folder) and the software cache around, re-entering the serial keys, the program still returns an invalid serial key message.
    The ticket has been elevated and I'm supposed to get a call from Sr. tech support within 24 hours.
    It's been 23 hours and nada... very disappointing.
