Safari is not working on the Mac. Internet is fine. mail, App Store etc all working and connecting to Internet fine. Done the latest software update, still not working. When selecting a web address from bookmarks or typing in search bar, partial blue bar only and coloured wheel appears.

From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.
If extensions aren't causing the problem, see below.

  • Invalid URL when pasting YouTube URL into YouTube or HTML widgets?

Any known fix for INVALID URL WHEN PASTING URL OR EMBED CODE INTO YOUTUBE AND HTML WIDGETS?
And video doesn't play on the widget window but rather opens YouTube OUTSIDE of mu website separately!
It appears A LOT of people have had this Problem!

    It's very simple.
This is what you paste in the URL field of the YouTube widget :
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbvdzQ7uVPc
And this is the embed code from the YT page. Paste it in a HTML Snippet.
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cbvdzQ7uVPc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
And in case you won't see anything in the HTML snippet, either publish the page to see the result or add http: before the //.
As you can see I haven't a problem. Probably because I'm not a lot of people.

Usually if I restart the computer, everything is normal again. This does no happen all the time, but once it starts, it wont go away. I even restarted in safe mode and then disabled all add ons and still nothing.

  • Why do I get INVALID URL when I try to use links thru facebook?

I use a laptop, running Windows7, with Mozilla and Safari as my main browsers. I've noticed that 75% of the time,(when I'm on Firefox) and I am on Facebook, when I try to play my games I get INVALID URL. If it happens on Mozilla it also happens on Safari (I've checked). Nothing I do works. I've tried every suggested *fix*, and nothing helps. It only affects FB and the links thru FB. I can go to any other website, just not fb nor any of the links to my games. All plugins are up to date except Silverlight plugin because I don't know what it is, nor how it got on my laptop. Haven't deleted it because I don't know what it is and what it's for.

  • How can I add linkable urls when making a web gallery

I need linkable urls on a web gallery page - ie opening in the browser, preferably in a new window/tab.
I thought I had it by manually editing:
    <contactEmail>url:http://mysite.co.uk</contactEmail>
This *does* load Firefox, but the appended 'url:' is still there.
The xml <sourceURL>http://mysite.co.uk</sourceURL> is not picked up by the code anywhere.
Is there a hack to do this, or even a legitimate way!

hello?? is there anybody out there?
i am starting to wonder if i am asking my question about (an

Adobe user's question? am i too impatient that i have expected to

  • Trying to setup new HP printer but says invalid password; when type in email address get error

I have a HP 410c using Mac OS 10.7.3 and am trying to setup eprint.  Evidently I had eprint on my previous model but seems I forgot password. When I input my password I get an error stating must be a valid email address.  I have only had 2 email accounts and have tried them both.  I have using the mac account for over 3 yrs.
Seems I am in a vicious circle.  Thanks in advance

    Hi skhtzll,
Do you have a Snapfish account? If so, (or even if you’re not sure) try logging in with the Snapfish icon below the Sign in Button. If you do not know your Snapfish password, you can select “forgot password” and an email will be sent to you to reset your password. Once you reset your password, go back in to the ePrint Center and try to sign in with this new information.
    I was an HP employee.

  • When typing in web address it opens up menu items, my computer and run.

When typing "t" it opens tools, "r" run, "c" my computer. I have to clear it and retype. This must started with the new upgrade.

Reload a web page and bypass the cache with:
    * Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    * Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    * Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

  • When clicking a WEB address in an e-mail, instead of opening the address in Internet Explorer, how do I get Thunderbird to open it in Google Chrome?

Internet Explorer does not work right in my system, so I use Google Chrome.

Thunderbird uses the browser you have set as default. Have you set Chrome as your default browser?

  • When I type web address, suggestions appear of previously visited sites. How do I erase these please? Also in form entries. Sorry - I'm not great with technical terms!

    Does this make sense?
I've tried erasing history but nothing has changed.
    All help is most appreciated.

Your location bar or "Awesome Bar" can be set to display your bookmarks, history, bookmarks and history together, or nothing at all based on what you input into it. To change what content this bar displays or to disable the location bar autocomplete list altogether, see [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Location%20bar%20autocomplete#w_changing-your-location-bar-settings Changing location bar settings]. Regarding form entries, the [[Form autocomplete]] article has information on deleting saved form entries or preventing them from being saved.
