Inventory 0IC_C03

Hi Friends !
Fes ques:
1) Currently, in our Prod we have 2LIS_03_BX updated to the infocube 0IC_C03. But the field 0RECTOTSTCK is not updating. In the infosource Rule BWMNG is mapped to 0CPQUABU. And in the update rule 0CPQUABU which is then mapped to 0RECTOTSTCK. All objects are installd via business content. In the PSA we have data for BWMNG. But the field 0RECTOTSTCK doesnot showz data.
2) Another ques is the field 0RECTOTSTCK shud be coming from 2LIS_03_BF? Not sure how these 3 standard extractors behaves. 2LIS_03_BX, 2LIS_03_BF, 2LIS_03_UM.
3) Loading sequence UM, BX, BF?
Please advise.

Ques3:
BX --> This Datasource is for initialization with snapshot of stock level.
BF --> Brings the stock movement data
UM --> Extracts valuation data.
--> BX data should be loaded first and then BF and UM.

Hi Experts,
we are Installing Inventory Cube 0IC_C03, with In dataflow options in BI 7, 2LIS_03_BF transformtions is in Active State, while 2LIS_03_BX transformtion and 2LIS_03_UM transformtions are in Active.
and for most of the Keyfields in Cube are not mapped with infosource fields.
can any body implemented Inventory in BI 7 system, any body faced this issue. can you please share how you resolved this issue.
we are on BI Content 703 11 version.

No need to check start routine code for this.
Goto Transformation --> Change mode --> Choose Rule Group (on top of window, middle of the screen) --> Choose 05 --> Dispay mapping --> check routines available or not.
Confirm back are you able to see filed routine or not...!!

I am presently working on an inventory project.
I have activated the busines content for the whole process flow i.e the cube 0IC_C03 and its respective datasources and infosources.
Now I want to understand the logic thst is being used in the start and update routines.Is there any doc that gives the logic for these routines.
For example a KF 0ISSVALSCRP which exists in the cube 0IC_C03 is mapped from its infosource using the rulename Issue Qty: Scrap - Purch.Val. from Matl Doc. on Posting Date.
The routine used is 'Perform routine_0030'.

Urgent:Receipt and Issue values in Inventory 0IC_C03

Dear friends,
In standard cube 0IC_C03 keyfigures Valuated stock Qty and value is matching with R/3 Transaction code MB5B.
Receipt quantity and Issue quantity in MB5B is not matching for some of the materials.But it matches with R/3 Tcode MB51 as it have all the movement types.
1.Pls suggest what needs to be done in BW to match the data with MB5B Receipt and Issues?
2.What are the movement types are used in MB5B?.(For ex 321 is displayed in MB51 but not included in the R/3 report MB5B)

Dear Gurus,
Recently we had Implemented the Inventory Management for Retail. Taken downtime and loaded the data by following all the steps. The data is successfully loaded till Nov 2010 to till date. Now when I am comparing the data with R3 using MB51, I am getting the below issues.
We have report in BI, on Material Ledger and we run above query for the duration of 1st Jan 2011 to 31st Jan 2011, This appear to be difference in the output.
BI opening quantity does not match with ECC MB5B opening matches.
1. Few of my BI entries of Movements are not present in R3.
2. Few entries are with no movements present in BI.
3. Some entries of R3 are not present in BI.
Can anyone guide me....

How do we delete the data from 0IC_c03?

please describe your requirement with more detail
- you can delete the whole data in the cube
- selectively delete data with a characteristic filter (all except time chars)
- if you want to delete with time char selective then refer to this thread

Issue on inventory 0IC_C03 report

Hi All,
I want to design a material movement report.
and the report will contain opening stock, closing stock, end value, 101 movement, 102 movement, 321 and 322 movement.
As I made this on 0IC_C03, with
opening value(0valstock and day interval-1),
closing stock (opening value+ total receipt -total issue),
end value (valuated stock value),
321 movement(issue quantity into quality checking),
322 movement(receipt quantity from quality checking)
But the vale of this report not matching with the standard report MB5B (in R3)
Plz any one inform me how to solve this issue.

Inventory 0IC_C03, issue with historical data (data before Stock initializa

Hi Experts,
Inventory Management implementation we followed as bellow.
Initailization data and delta records data is showing correctly with ECC MB5B data, but historical data (2007 and 2008 till date before initialization) data is not showing correctly (stock on ECC side) but showing only difference Qunatity from Stock initialization data to date of Query.
we have done all the initial setting at BF11, Process keys and filed setup table for BX abd BF datasources, we are not using UM datasource.
1 we loaded BX data and compressed request (without tick mark at "No Marker Update)
2. initialization BF data and compressed request (with tick mark at "No Marker Update)
3 for deltas we are comperessing request on daily (without tick mark at "No Marker Update).
is this correct process
in as you mentioned for BX no need to compress ( should not compress BX request ? )
and do we need to compress delta requets ?
we have issue for historial data validation,
here is the example:
we have initilaized on may 5th 2009.
we have loaded BX data from 2007 (historical data)
for data when we see the data on january 1st 2007, on BI side it is showing value in negative sign.
on ECC it is showing different value.
for example ECC Stock on january 1st 2007 : 1500 KG
stock on Initialization may 5th 2009 : 2200 KG
on BI side it is showing as: - 700 KG
2200 - (-700) = 1500 ,
but on BI side it is not showing as 1500 KG.
(it is showing values in negative with refence to initialization stock)
can you please tell, is this the process is correct, or we did worng in data loading.
in validity table (L table) 2 records are there with SID values 0 and -1, is this correct

1. You have performed the initialization on 15th May 2009.

2. For the data after the stock initialization, I believe that you have either performed a full load from BF data source for the data 16th May 2009 onwards or you have not loaded any data after 15th May 2009.
for BF after stock initialization delta data, this compressed with marker update option unchecked.
If this is the case, then I think you need to
1. Load the data on 15th May (from BF data source) separately.
do you mean BF ( Material movements) 15th May data to be compressed with No Marker Update option unchecked. which we do for BX datasource ?
2. Compress it with the No Marker Update option unchecked.
3. Check the report for data on 1st Jan 2007 after this. If this is correct, then all the history data will also be correct.
After this you can perform a full load till date
here till date means May 15 th not included ?
for the data after stock initialization and then start the delta process. The data after the stock initialization(after 15th May 2009) should also be correct.
can you please clarify these doubts?

Inventory 0IC_C03 Backward caluculation issue

Hi experts,
In Inventory reportm custom query, Kaydate with 365 days offset is used, there data is showing correct with Initialization date and future date. problem is for historical date some time negative and postive values are showing but mot matching with SAP ECC stock on date at MB5B.
here is the example.
Stock initialization on April 10 2009.
for data on feb 01 2007, stock on ECC is 1500
issues - 100 - KG
recepits 2300 KG
when sum of these is 2200 kg, on BI side for 01 2007 for material and plant it is showing - 2200 KG.
but it show as 1500 KG.
*from initialization to date on which query is run, all the receipts and issues sum is showing in report)
is this the behaviour or Bi report will show exactly same qunatity as in ECC for historical date*

Loading of Inventory Management

I am trying to load data in parallel into the Non Cumulative Inventory (0IC_C03) cube and the SnapShot (ODSSNAP) ODS. The steps that I have followed is as follows:
1) Load into PSA
2) Subsequently load into Data Targets
This failed so I deleted the load from the targets and reloaded from PSA. I am currently monitoring the loads and it seems that I am likely to have a fail since the monitor has been on Data Package 129 for a long period.
Is there anything that I can do to the extraction is the BF init and last week I did manage to load to 0IC_C03 when I had not built the snapshot in the model.
The size of the packages are approximately 65,000 records and there are 139 packages

Hi Niten,
if the upload has stopped without any particular error message in monitor maybe is a tablespace problem, temp or roll.
Take a look in DB02 - SM21 - ST22.
If it is a problem of roll, make separate upload.
In any case ask DB administrator to enlarge tablespace.

Inventory cube 0IC_C03 ,Stock on particular date

Hi All,
   We are trying to get the stock on a particular date using cube 0IC_C03 ,but we are unable to get the total stock on a given date.
1)Ex: I want stock on 01.12.2009 ,but in the query output I am getting null values.
I am only getting the total stock quantity on the loaded date for ex:04.01.2010(which is my data loading date in to the cube).
2)And when we restrict 0calday with <=01.12.2009 ,i have to get the total stock till 01.12.2009

Use :
0VALSTCKVAL   " for Value
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month
Use the above combinations in New Selections in columns and go it.
For Qty Opening:
New Selection bad drag abd drop following things
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month and restrict with less then or equalto option variable (single value, user input) and set the offeset
                               value = -1 bcoz if user will give 12.2009 , so it will display 11.2009 closing stock, this is opening for 12.2009.
For Qty Closing:
New Selection bad drag abd drop following things
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month and restrict with less then or equalto option variable (single value, user input) .
In the same way build for Value and other Keyfigures on 0IC_C03.
And
Drag & drop
0MATERAIL
0PLANT " Give some Input Variable.

If it is BI 7 then for BX in in DTP in Extraction Tab you need to select Extacrion mode = NON-Cumulative option.

When running a query of a 0IC_C03 cube copy inventory shows as blank

When loading the 0IC_C03 cube copy ZMM_C01 Cube: Material Stocks/Movements, if there
is no movements for that day in a plant the inventory values do not show when we run a query on that key date
When we create a movement type and run the extraction then the ending inventory values
will show when we run a query usig that key date.
So if there are no movements types for a plant then the inventory balance does not show up in our query reports. Once we post a
movement type for a plant and extract data then rerun our reports then the inventory balances show up.

Inventory Management Cube 0ic_c03, 0StockType

In the Inventory Management Cube 0ic_c03 queries,I've found that 0StockType has descriptions that are misleading because of the way they are written in domain bstaus (R3 side), especially when seeing the key and SHORT description (truncated beyond meaning).
OK I can correct these by changing BStaus 's texts.
The main changes I'd do are for the Customer Consigment, Customer Return Packaging and Material Provided to Vendor descriptions.
But what does 0StockType 'blank' (or #) mean ?
(It seems to mean something like Valuated Stock Valuation and 'Not Defined' is not very good in a Query result)

Well, no one replied, but I got feedback from OSS. So just in case anyone is interested.....
I had to use r3 > se11 to change the domain descriptions myself.
Bstaus 'blank' I put as 'Valuation'
I also improved some of the Bsttyp descriptions whilst there

Queires on Non-Cumulative Inventory Management Cube 0IC_C03 Not Working

Hello all.
I am trying to use the 0IC_C03 Inventory Management cube with non-cumulative key figures. I followed the How to...Handle Inventory Management Scenarios in BW paper to a tee.
Steps I followed:
1. Ran initialization of beginning balance with 2LIS_03_BX
2. Ran the historical job with 2LIS_03_BF
3. Uploaded to BW the Initialization (BX) and compressed without setting the "No Marker Update" flag
4. Uploaded the historical movements (BF) and compressed setting the "No Marker Update" flag
Now, to this point, everything was fine. Quantities were as expected. Dollar values were as expected. The problem occurs once I load deltas:
5. Loaded delta for 2LIS_03_BF and compressed without setting the "No Marker Update" flag as instructed in the How To... paper
Query example:
MATERIALA:
Initial Stock Balance = 1000 EA
Delta had stock issue of 150 EA (so the stock balance should have decreased from 1000 to 850)
Now, I have the record in BW showing the stock issue of 150. However, the non-cumulative key figure within the query still shows 1000. And when I drill down by calendar day, I would expect the result to show 850, but it seems to add the 150 before taking it away resulting in 1000 which is actually the initial stock balance. It is like it is not recognizing the updates.
Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what helped in my case, very similar to your:
In DTP for 2lis_03_bx (not only in infopackage, as it is said in manual!) you have to change "Extraction Mode" parameter to "Initial Non-cumulative for Non-cumulative values"

BI 7 Inventory Transformations 0IC_C03

Hi,
any body implemented Inventory managment in BI 7 flow.
we are implemenating Inventory managment in BI 7 flow. issue is when installling transformations most of the keyfigures are not mapped, do we have to map/ write rouitnes, content will not give rouitnes for keyfigures.
transformations for 2LIS_03_BF, 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_UM.
can any one please help on this. transformations with routines are much helpful.

BI Scenario Inventory Analysis
Symptom:
You have activated InfoCube 0IC_C03 in dataflow before. The dataflow is available from the InfoCube downwards to the InfoSources in 7.0 technology (transformations). However there is no connection between the InfoSources and the DataSources, because all DataSources have been activated as 3.x DataSources.
Reason:
The Business Content for the InfoCube 0IC_C03 has changed and now uses the 7.0 technology for data flow.
Solution:
1. Migrate the follwing DataSources to 7.0 DataSources:
2LIS_03_BX
2LIS_03_BF
2LIS_03_UM
In transaction RSDS enter the relevant DataSource and the source system. From the menu choose DataSource -> Migration 3.x DataSource -> DataSource.
2. Reactivate the InfoCube 0IC_C03 in dataflow before.
3. Check the transformation TRCS 2LIS_03_BF_TR -> CUBE 0IC_C03. If it is not active, check if there is an error in the start routine. If this is the case, refer to SAPNote 1052648, section "Start Routine" for a solution.
