Inventory Management Serialize and Non Serialize BI Query

Dear All,
Is there any possibility to achieve a Inventory Management report based on Serialized and Non serialize materials.
The requirement is to develop a report on  serialized materials for which WM is activated  and For serialized materials for which WM is NOT activated.
Kindly let me know how to achieve this BI Query?
Thank you

  • Inventory Management - Current and forecasted Inventory/Stock

    Hello,
I just wanted to know the tables in Material Management related to Inventory, where I can get the inventory detials.
Any table names, any field details will be appreciated and rewarded.
I have to build a report for all materials in the system where I have to display the
    Safety Stock
    Onhand Inventory
$ value of On Hand Inventory
    Forecast Quantity
    Any BAPI's/RFC's for this?
    Thank you for your help.
    Sumit.

    Hey Nitin,
    Thanks for following up.
The report i have to develop looks like this
              Apr-05 May-05 Jun-05 Jul-05 Aug-05 .....
    Plant1:
    Material 1:
    Safety Stock
    Onhand Inventory
    $ value of On Hand
    Forecast Quantity
    Material 2:
    Safety Stock
    Onhand Inventory
    $ value of On Hand
    Forecast Quantity
    Material 3:
    Safety Stock
    Onhand Inventory
    $ value of On Hand
    Forecast Quantity
    Plant2:
My main problem is getting periodic data. When we run MCBZ Current Requirements/Stocks: Basic List, we get the data for a particular time period, But the report that needs to be developed needs this in a matrix for all the time periods between two days.
MVER has a yearly indicator, but there is there a way for me to know periodic values smaller than that - like monthly.
MARD is much better. There is the year and the month in consideration in the fields Year current period, and current period.
MARC, with this table, I have the same problem as MVER. I dont even have the year in the table.
EKBE, I have no idea now a purchase order is related to determining Stock and OnHand inventory, although I know that goods delivered as a result of purchase order are the stock/inventory. There is the Year, Posting Date, Document Date entries here. I dont know how these will tie into the periodic stock determination.
MSEG, There is the fiscal year here. MKPF has the document date, posting date, and entry date. I can use this as  a starting point by putting the material posting date in "buckets" each representing one periodic summary.
Any more hints on how I can tie it all together.
    Thanks
    Sumit.

  • Order Management - 'Export' and 'Non-export' orders.

    Hi,
Could anyone help me how to distinguish between an 'export' type sales order and a 'non-export' type sales order?
I need the details of the columns that we should be looking into to identify the above types of sales orders.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Mantha

The reason the stock is released to warehouse is because requested quantity is set to zero so the seeded process fails on reservation so the cycle exits in limbo.
The solution is to rather leave the requested quantity and set the stock Available to Request (ATR) to zero.
    Tracing through the packages yields...
    WSH_PICK_LIST.RELEASE_BATCH
    |--> INV_PICK_RELEASE_PUB.PICK_RELEASE
    |--> INV_PICK_RELEASE_PVT.PROCESS_LINE
    |--> ..PROCESS_RESERVATIONS
... which is where the ATR is set via INV_QUANTITY_TREE_PUB and can thus be "hacked".
A functional solution is to perhaps have two logical warehouses. One for any packing unit and one for cartonised packing units. But then again not all business' can see there way clear with vanilla functionality ;)

  • Inventory Management Data Model

Can I have a combined Inventory Management Snapshot and Non Cumulative?  By this I mean as follows:
    1.     Use the Business Content model to load to the Inventory Management (0IC_C03) cube on a daily basis (loading delta from 03_BF and 03_UM)
    2.     Create a Snap Shot model which is loaded on a monthly basis using 03_BF and 03_UM
    Thanks

    Hello Niten,
Absolutely. You can use these two scenarios in combination. In fact, it is highly recommended to use snapshot scenario in combination with non-cumulative model and not as a stand alone solution.
But you need to evaluate the business requirement before taking the decesion of going with combined solution. Snapshot scenario is used to improve the query prformance.

  • Queires on Non-Cumulative Inventory Management Cube 0IC_C03 Not Working

    Hello all.
I am trying to use the 0IC_C03 Inventory Management cube with non-cumulative key figures.  I followed the How to...Handle Inventory Management Scenarios in BW paper to a tee.
    Steps I followed:
    1.  Ran initialization of beginning balance with 2LIS_03_BX
    2.  Ran the historical job with 2LIS_03_BF
    3.  Uploaded to BW the Initialization (BX) and compressed without setting the "No Marker Update" flag
    4.  Uploaded the historical movements (BF) and compressed setting the "No Marker Update" flag
Now, to this point, everything was fine.  Quantities were as expected.  Dollar values were as expected.  The problem occurs once I load deltas:
    5.  Loaded delta for 2LIS_03_BF and compressed without setting the "No Marker Update" flag as instructed in the How To... paper
    Query example:
    MATERIALA:
Initial Stock Balance = 1000 EA
Delta had stock issue of 150 EA (so the stock balance should have decreased from 1000 to 850)
Now, I have the record in BW showing the stock issue of 150.  However, the non-cumulative key figure within the query still shows 1000.  And when I drill down by calendar day, I would expect the result to show 850, but it seems to add the 150 before taking it away resulting in 1000 which is actually the initial stock balance.  It is like it is not recognizing the updates.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Brent

    Hi!
Here is what helped in my case, very similar to your:
In DTP for 2lis_03_bx (not only in infopackage, as it is said in manual!) you have to change "Extraction Mode" parameter to "Initial Non-cumulative for Non-cumulative values"

  • Inventory Management 0IC_C03: Beginning and ending inventory

    Hi Gurus
My report is based on Inventory Management cube and I have a requirement where in I need to show Begining Inventory and Ending Inventory for Plant per Period.
There is no KF for Beginning Invin SAP standard model in inventory management cube (0IC_C03 cube), so I thought to restricting total quantity by Fiscal period and Offset by minus one to get begining inventory.
    Here is my report layout:
I have got : Period , Plant in rows and Beginning and ending inventory in Columns.
    Desired Output:
Fiscal Period | Plant |  |  Begining Inventory | Ending Inventory.
    03/2009        |  1001 |    100                       |  50
    Actual Report output
Fiscal Period | Plant |  |  Begining Inventory | Ending Inventory.
    02/2009        |  1001 |                 100          |
    03/2009        |  1001 |                                |  50
So basically report is being split on two lines for current and previous (due to restriction in begining period : Offset =-1 on period).
Question is how to achieve both begining and ending inventory for a period in same line.
Thanks in avdance for help and time
    SA

    HI Naveen
Thanks for the reply. Non *** KF are already being used and Standard SAP model is being followed. Problem is not with back end but with frontend. Data coming on the report is fine but problem is how to show them on same line. Remember Beginning inventory for current open is ending inventory for previous month and  in SAP content there is no KF called as begining inventory. Basically data from two consecutive periods (current and previous one) needs to be on same row of report, but they are coming on different rows if we have period in drilldown by period. this makes sense but how to overcome this.
This, We have all the correct data but facing issue while displaying that on frontend.
    Thanks

  • Reset & reverse document with open item managed and none open item managed

    Dear forum,
I would like to confirm the below.
If i have a posted document where the double entry has open item managed account and none open item managed account and where the open item managed account is cleared, how can i reverse this document.
The problem now is FBRA cannot reset and reverse (as the document partly has none open item managed account) and FB08 also cannot reverse (as part of the account is open item managed account and it is cleared).
Besides manually reverse via FB01, any other method?
    Thanks
Moderator: Please, avoid asking basic questions

Which document are you trying to clear using FBRA?  You should reset the "clearing document" using FBRA; not the original document that has one open item and one non-open item.  Once you reset the clearing document using FBRA, you should then be able to reverse the original document (the one that has one open item and one non-open item) using FB08.

  • Integration SMP 3.0 and Inventory Manager 3.2 / 4.0

    Hello,
I have a Little doubt. For an Implementation of Inventory Manager after I have installed/configured the SMP 3.0 or SMP 2.3, in order to actívate the Agentry for Inventory Manager, Do I have to install the Inventory manager server (Agentry Server)  which I had downloaded with Inventory Manager Package from services marketplace? or Do I have to install Agentry server which came with SMP, and after that just configure the deployment package as application within the SMP? ... I'm a Little bit confused because I think these deployment files (bundle) are on the agentry server that came with the Inventory Manager package (that is why the question was raised) and if I do not install the Inventory Manager Server I wont be able to get this bundle. Another questions is: In case the inventory manager server must be installed in order to make the agentry / SMP integration work for this standard app, If after this implementation We want to develop /configure another agentry apps, Can I do this with the agentry server installed for Inventory Manager (Inventory Manager Server) and not the "generic" one that came with the SMP?
Please Help Manju Venkatesha Michael Appleby Steve Streeter Jason Latko
    Best Regards,
    Mariana

Hi Manju Venkatesha & Stephen Streeter
Let me see if I understood what you guys answered me on this post...
1.- The agentry server is built on SMP 3.0 & SMP 2.3 and the standalone server on SMP 2.3 is only configure for development. Now, I have a another question about this...
Q.- if I need to configure the agentry's development environment besides Inventory Manager Mobile App, Does the SMP 2.3 developer server need two agentry server (The one built within SMP and the standalone for development process)? or just standalone server? or just SMP Server with Agentry generic server built within?. I understood production environment only will have one... the "generic" agentry server... as Steven said "SMP 2.3 needs to be use for QA and production", but i have this question regarding development server.
2.- Manju, We can install either IM 3.2 or IM 4.0, the thing is we are reviewing what versión is better to implement So I need to clarify my doubts for implementation process on both versions. The steps you mentioned put me in context and gives me some lights about the process, now, when you wrote: "Download Inventory Manager from service marketplace (it comes exe file)", is this the mobile server called "Inventory Manager 3.2.0 Sever" for IM 3.2 / "SAP Inventory Manager 4.0.1 Deployment" for IM 4.0?. The confusion raised here because the wizard for the mobile server that comes with mobile application implementation package, it is almost the same of Agentry standalone server, besides the SAP Backend information, it's pretty much the same wizard. In fact I think it will create a file system directory similar to standalone agentry server... So, my question about this is:
Q.- If the answer to my previous question: Does the SMP 2.3 developer server need two agentry server (The one built within SMP and the standalone for development process)? , is yes… and as you remark on your steps I need to install this mobile server (exe file), Is this mean that I need to install three agentry server on the development server (generic, standalone, mobile server)?, What happen with the file system directory for the agentry standalone dev server and inventory manager mobile server? Do they will merge in one??? And if I need to modify the inventory manager mobile app: which agentry server will be my development environment?
The SMP 3.0 which has the agentry component integrated and does not need a standalone one will need the "mobile server", does it? (exe file within SAP Inventory Manager 4.0.1 Deployment I guess or Inventory Manager 3.2.0 Server) and what about if I need to customize something on IM 4.0? The changes will be publish directly to the agentry component within SMP 3.0?
Another thing, is the Inventory manager server (mobile server) will give me the jar file from which I can get the IM agentry project for Inventory manager mobile app customization?
I know I can be confusing on my questions but please help me understand
Thank you both for the information / help you could give me ...
    Best Regards,
    Mariana

  • Inventory Management Negative Values

    Hello Experts -
I'm working on an inventory management report and we're in BI 7.0.
In the report, the valuated stock quantity is a non-cumulative key figure with inflow as receipt stock qty and outflow as issue stock qty.
In my transformation, I'm taking care of the process keys and multiplying by -1 when the keys are 100, 101, 104, 105, 106, 110. I'm doing that for qty as well as for $ figures.
But when I look into valuated stock qty in my report, I'm seeing negative values for movement type 602 which is a return. Earlier this was a positive value.
For movement type 601 which is a sales, I'm seeing positive values which used to be a negative value.
Basically, the figures got reversed even though I'm multiplying by -1 only on one set of process keys such as 100, 101, 104, 105, 106, 110.
Is it ok to have negative figures when dealing with movement types?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
As always, points will be granted.
    Thanks!

  • MTS with batch management, serialization and Handling unit

    Hello All,
I am testing a scenario for MTS with batch management, serialization and Handling unit for discrete manufacturing.
Everything worked fine till I created the Handling unit for the finished product.
The production order has a quantity of 3 EA.
It has three serial numbers 1, 2 and 3. (serial numbers can be displayed from order->Header->serial numbers)
I created one Handling unit for production order quantity of 3 EA.
I tried to do a goods receipt for the production order using transaction COWBHUWE.
I get the following error when I try to post the GR:
Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 3
    Message no. IO304
    Diagnosis
There is a serial number obligation, so the number of serial numbers must equal the number of serial numbers in the material document.
You can post the operation only if you entered the correct number of serial numbers previously.
    System Response
Depending on the context in which the error arises, the system continues processing, or the required function cannot be performed.
    Procedure
You have the following options, for example:
Check that the serial numbers are entered fully.
If necessary, display an error log.
If necessary, contact your system administrator.
    What did I miss?
    How to fix this problem?
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance
    George

I added the serialization procedure HUSL to the serial number profile and it fixed the problem.

  • Inserting non-serializable objects

Is there any way to insert non-serializable objects into a database? (Or to convert them to bytes?)

Is there any way to insert non-serializable objectsinto a database?
A joke right? No, it's not a joke. It would be a pretty bad one if it were.
Yes, there is a way. Create a table that corresponds
to the object where each attribute in the object
corresponds to field in the object. Add a unique key
if one doesn't exist.I wish it were that simple. I don't have access to those attributes...
    >
To create an object insert a row into the table. To
load the object use the unique key to query for the
row. To 'delete' the object delete the row from the
table.BTW, the object in question is the java.awt.geom.Area object (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/java/awt/geom/Area.html ).
The only way I can think of to insert an object that doesn't map to a SQL type is to convert it to bytes through serialization, and insert it as RAW data.
I've extended Area to add a name and made my class serializable. However, since Area is not serializable, the only data I can retrieve after deserializing is the name I added (from my understanding of serialization, I have to save Area's data myself, but can't since I don't have access to it, so the deserialization process calls the Area() constructor which initializes the object to empty).

works with non-serializable objects. Do I need to create an EJBcontrol that
masks non-serializable objects to be used with the webservice?
Any input is greatly appreciated. I'm still new at webservice programming.
