Inventory Mismatch

Hi experts!!!
I need to update all my finished goods stock as we are in shut down process. I tried it by checking for it a certain material (say X). Following are the result:-
1) T -code = MB5B; Qty = 100 pcs ; Mtyp = 601
2) T-code = VF05; Qty = 90 pcs; Mtyp = ????
1st question is why my billed qty (tcode = VF05) is less than despatch qty (Mtyp = 601), although both are standard transaction.
Another question is which data is authentic in terms of excise. Pl help me!!!
kapil

Hi Kapil,
As far as Excise Rg1 Register is concern , which you are updating thru J1I5, system will take PGI i.e. 601 Movement, hence advisable not to post 601, till you finish billing of balance 10 qty.

  • Inventory Mapping

    Dear All
I am taking the physical inventory, After finishing my inventory there is lot of difference between system stock  and physical stock i want to know what are all possible reason for mismatching of stock i wnt possible reasons w.r.t PP,MM and QM
      For Example
         1) Component quantity in BOM is not w.r.t physical consumption
         2) GR not made
         3) Components not presented in BOM
    Regards
    Srinivasan.P

    Dear,
All these are possible reason for inventory mismatch for all materials of plants.
Suppose some material are consumption you have to post it to cost center by 201 movement but user has not done this then physical it is already consumed but in system still it is there.
Physical movement take place but in system user have not done it then how you will get output without input.
Also check stock laying to vendor. PO Gr done for excess qty than Physical.
May stock in quality all these are possible reason please check in MB51 all movements for all material and compair then.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Inventory values mismatch

    Hi experts,
I have loaded inventory data by installing standard objects from
business content and then included some fields into cube and as per the fields included, changed the infosource, transfer rules and update rules and then loaded the data.As per my knowledge the data flow is fine.
When i see the data in the cube some of the field values are appearing differently like:
In r/3 for a particular materail and plant for a particular month
the values of issued quantity are 1164.40- and 465.76-(should appear in the cube in the field Value issued from valuated stock). And value of receipt quantity is 176 ( should appear in the cube in the field Value received into valuated stock) .
But in the cube, 1164.40- and 176 are appearing in the Value received into valuated stock and 465.76 is appearing in
Value issued from valuated stock.Actually 1164.40- should also appear in the Value issued from valuated stock.
My requirement is 1164.40- should go to Value issued from valuated stock and also like 465.76 it should also be displayed as postive value in the value issued from valuated stock.
Only for some materials it is showing like this i.e for which blocked stock, quality stock, transfer posting etc are maintained.
And also same with the quantities.
Can any guide me how to proceed to solve this ?
    Bhadri M.

    Hi,
My Dear You can use the standard update rule but you need to modify the same according to your business Scenarios of the Company.
not going very much in Detail but need to say that inventory report are mainly based on the
movement type (Movement Which Happens from Warehouse ), Just ask the details from your MM guy n change the Update rules from the help of ABAPers.
then n then only you will get the correct values.
    Assign point if it helps.

  • Inventory Data Mismatch

    Hi All
I have loaded 2lis_03_bx into cube  and compressed the request with marker update(flag not set)
Now when i tried to compare the quantities(0TOTALSTCK) with the R/3 report MMBE, there is data mismatch
when i checked the data in the PSA, i found that some records are coming without Storage location details
So itried appllying the below restrictions and the result is exactly matching with the R/3 report MMBE.
    1. Excluded storage location records with value '#'.
    2. Excluded Stock type records value 'D'.
So, can any one suggest why there is a datamismatch.

    Hi,
    did any got similar problem??

  • Config Manager Agent - after Hardware Inventory High CPU Usage with WMIPRSVE and very fast empty Battery

    Hi there,
since a few days there is on some machines (40-60) a high cpu usage on one core (quad core cpu machines) with the WMIPRSVE.EXE if the HARDWARE INVENTORY CYCLE started.
i try out some tests, read some forum articles and troubleshooting the WMI management but a real problem i doesn´t see.
in some articles i read that hardware inventory runs about minutes up to more hours but some machines runs longer, someone more as 1 day.
here an example of mine PC:
at 8:07 i started Hardware Inventory Cycle, in the InventoryAgent.log i can see that some Collection Namespace are captured.
after a few minutes there stopped and does nothing round about 5.9 hours or better, after 21436.097 Seconds.
For any hints i am grateful. :)

Looks like something in one or both of those wmi queries.  it goes from 8:10:03 to 14:06:43 right around there.  6 hours to do that...
try running those queries from wbemtest manually; and see which one just never finishes.

  • How to match the BI Inventory Management reports with MB5B?

    Hi All,
In BI we have two reports which shows the Quantity, Value and count of the valuated GI and GR movements happened in the inventory at a material-plant level for a given day. Both the reports are built on the cube 0IC_C03(Material Stocks/Movements ). We need to display only those movements which has a value associated with that. Ideally it should match with the R3 report MB5B for stock type "Valuated Stock".
    For example,
For movement type 311(storage location to storage location) there are no accounting documents associated with that. Still in the data source it has field u201CStock categoryu201D(BSTTYP) as blank, which indicates that it is a valuated stock. And hence that record is displayed in the BI report. But In MB5B there are no entries for that movement type as there is no value associated with that.
Similarly for movement type 101 (Goods receipt) the stock category, BSTTYP in the data source indicates that it is valuated stock, where as MB5B eliminates those which has no value associated with that.
This is causing a mismatch between the R/3 MB5B and the BI Reports. Is there any method to match the BI reports with the MB5B report in R3?
    Thanks in advance,
    Alpho

    Hello,
Please cross check with MM consultant and take the logic of MB5B and implement same in BW Query Level can help you to match the values.
    Thanks.

  • Inventory Cube Issue

    Hi Experts,
We have created a copy of 0IC_C03 with more no of fields added to the copy cube CIC_C03. We had lot of data mismatch in the earlier stage & now after  a long time this copy cube is working fine in production. We have not yet compressed the deltas in the cube.
Now, later there was a field to be added in the inventory cube which takes data from an ODS. For this we created one more copy cube as we didnot want to disturb the inventory cube in production, hence we created one  Zcube which is the copy of CIC_C03 with an added field. In the update rules we have a routine which fills with data from the ODS. The CIC_C03 acts as datasource for this Zcube.
    My question is:
    1) I dont feel that after a month or so, we require the data in CIC_c03 as the same data comes in ZCube. So will deletion of data from CIC_C03 affect my data?
    2) The intial data in CIC_C03 are compressed whereas the deltas  are not yet compressed. Should the full upload to Zcube take after compression only?
    3) Suppose we delete the data from CIC_C03 after 2 months after a full upload is taken till that point. After deletion, the deltas will be coming in CIC_C03, canl these everyday delta be transfeered to Zcube?
    Waiting for reply.
    Regards,
    Vaishnavi.

    Hi,
The note(637927) is saying that the KFs which represents the <b>values</b> of Stock-in-transit (issue, receipt, current) are deleted in the cube . But still the cube is containint the KF which represents the <b>quntity</b> of Stock-in-transit (issue, receipt, current) .
So the deleted KF are :
    0VALTRANSST - Stock-in-transit value
    0RECCCNSVAL - Stock-in-transit issue value
    0RECTRFSTVA - Stock-in-transit receipt <b>value</b>
    Available KF are:
    0TRANSSTOCK - Stock in transit <b>Qty</b>
    0RECTRANSST - Receipt <b>quantity</b>: stock in transit
    0ISSTRANSST - Issue <b>quantity</b>: stock in transit
So to find out the value of Stock-in-transit , you will use the Stock in transit. The scenario has to be used in this calculation is same as explained in note:589024.

    B. IMPORTANT: DATAFIX CONDITIONS
    SQL> select count(*)

  • Hardware Inventory, with a comma

I am unable to add an item to Hardware Inventory and it appears this because it has a comma.  Looking for ways to work around this or do some preprocessing maybe.
I was hoping to gather Fiber Channel info including WWNs so I have added Root\wmi\msfc_AdapterHBAAttributes.  The system collects them correctly and transfers them to the server.
Collection: Namespace = root\wmi; Query = SELECT __CLASS, __PATH, __RELPATH, InstanceName, NodeWWN , Manufacturer, Model, ModelDescription, OptionROMVersion FROM MSFC_FCAdapterHBAAttributes; Timeout = 600 secs. InventoryAgent 1/30/2014 2:50:32
    PM 1228 (0x04CC)
The server however fails to process the data, apparent because there is a comma in it.
    Compilation failed~syntax error on line 19563, token ','  SMS_INVENTORY_DATA_LOADER           1/30/2014 1:50:17 PM    5308 (0x14BC)

    5308 (0x14BC)
A look at the data passed shows, sure enough, there is a comma in wwn. this is kinda the info I want so I do not want to omit it.
    Start Group
    Name = "Fibre Channel HBA"
    ID = 1076
    Class = "MICROSOFT|MSFC_FCADAPTERHBAATTRIBUTES|1.0"
    Pragma = "SMS:ADD"
    Key = 1
Start Attribute Name = "InstanceName" ID = 1 Type = String Value = "PCI\\VEN_1077&DEV_2532&SUBSYS_3262103C&REV_02\\4&1f5076ed&0&0040_0" End Attribute
Start Attribute Name = "Manufacturer" ID = 2 Type = String Value = "QLogic Corporation" End Attribute
Start Attribute Name = "Model" ID = 3 Type = String Value = "HPAK344A" End Attribute
Start Attribute Name = "ModelDescription" ID = 4 Type = String Value = "QLogic HPAK344A Fibre Channel Adapter" End Attribute
    Start Attribute Name = "NodeWWN" ID = 5 Type = Integer Value = 80, 1, 67, 128, 9, 172, 54, 59 End Attribute
Start Attribute Name = "OptionROMVersion" ID = 6 Type = String Value = "2.15" End Attribute
    End Group
I was thinking of running a script to read the data, massage it and write it to a custom key but really?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    OK.
So this would be a bit of a Microsoft bug I guess. The WMI instance clearly states it is an array of integers however selecting the attribute as a new inventory item using the SCCM 2012 GUI does not correctly add it to the mof as an array.
Here is what the tool created below.
I modified the line     UInt8     NodeWWN; to be     UInt8     NodeWWN[]; and reimported it.
Forced an inventory but it errored with a delta mismatch.
Forced a full inventory (gwmi -Namespace root\ccm\invagt -Class InventoryActionStatus -Filter "InventoryActionID = '{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001}'" | Remove-WmiObject) and all good now.  Collects wwn ok.
    Thanks

  • Mismatch in InStock Quantity in Item Master at Item level and W/H Level

    Hi,
          All,
I get some mismatch in 'InStock Quantity' at Item level and W/H Level, in Item Master.
for Some Item and mismatch increases day by day.
ex:          At one total item Instock Qty : 100
                   but in W/H 1 InStock Qty :   -80
                   in W/H2  InStock Qty :   -2
Please give me reason for such a problem and also, solution to overcome this problem
    Thanks
    Vivek Kumar Gaurav

    Dear Gordon,
Thanks for replying me.Yes,there are multiple add-ons are running on client. There is no work done with SAP inventory. So you can consider that it's a problem of vanilla SAP B1.
    Warm Regards

    Hi Satya,
If you are in productive system and has ensured that all the goods movement postings have been correct with respect to stock and serial numbers, you have to reassure the GR and GI and run a physical inventory to correct the mismatch.

  • Inventory Issue: Movement type 905 creating two records in BI.

    Hello Experts,
We have a problem in Inventory scenario implemented in our system. After the month load completion in Snap shot Cube,we are getting quantity mismatch between BI and ECC values.I found out that there are records exist with movement type 905 creating problem.
we have only one record in ECC while there are two records exist in BI with one have reversal indicator on it and other does not have reversal indicator.Qty is same in both of the case ,also the record which have reversal indicator have Process key 100 while the record with out reversal indicator doesn't have any process key.And in further update from ODs ZMMDS104 to ICSNAP1 ,in update rule we are adding or subtracting on the basis of process key as per standard Inventory scenario implementation.
So am i right that this Movement type is creating problem ..?
Does any one faces this issue earlier...?
and if this is issue then how to resolve this ?
Please advice as soon as possible as it becomes a high priority issue in client space.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards,
    Yash Raj.

    Hi Aduri,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
I ma new to inventory field, can you please guide me how to check your advice details in the system like you
said "Recheck the Reversal Indicated Qty because if it has reverse indicator it should come from ECC or from ODS Check the Same at Change Log Table to trace the Changes."
What do you mean by "or from ODS" do you mean that ODS could create this entry ..? also this ODs ZMMDS104 is got daily loaded by delta from 2lis_03_bf . but this record is related to period 12/2008.and now we are in period 1/2009 (as i am trying to reconciling the data for last period) so i Guess there is no chance to find out this entry in change log.
Also "Try to see at DS field for the Process Key/Movement type with Reverse Indicator At ECC. "
How to check the same in data source?
Also "If you don't have the Reverse postings at ECC without process Key then you can  report on the same to the Functional Team/Client. But before that make sure  that you have reverse postings without process key assigned to it."
I checked in the ECC system(RSA3) There is only one record exist in for that material document it has positive quantity and material movement type 905 with movement indicator L.
    Waiting for your response.
    Thanks once again
