Inventory movement takes away delivery note picked qty.

We have a situation that delivery note is created and picking is saved.
Inventory movement such as “MB1A, MB1B, MB1C” or Post Goods Issue, the system will only check available inventory and not worry about confirmed and/or committed quantities.  And take away picked qty from delivery note.  Is this a SAP standard behavier or we are missing some setting?
Thanks,
Dori

Hi,
It is a standard behaviour of the system : some movements must have priority against sales requirement : if you need to scrap the goods, if you need to return the goods to the vendor, if you want to put the goods from unrestricted stock to quality or blocked stock, ..., idem with a change of storage location, ...
If you really want to avoid this, there is some customizing in inventory management :(spro + MM + IM + outbound and transfers + availability checks or somethng like this) : like in SD for sales orders and deliveries, you will be able to decide by movement type and transaction what kind of stock you want to take into account.
But, from what I know, no one excluded sales requirements. But we are in an SD forum

  • Delivery not picked in Wave in T code VL35

    Hi Friends,
I have created delivery for 201 Movement (Issue to Cost Centre)and with HODN-Item Category. This is not picked up for Wave in VL35 T Code.
Please let me know if there is any SPRO setting missed out.
Is there any Upgrade related issue. (ECC 6 from ECC 5.0)
    Please guide.
    Thanks and regards,

I think HOD delivery type is for handling units, which may not be picked using VL35.

  • Orientation is wrong when delivery note, pick ticket are printed together!

    Hi All,
I am facing this peculiar problem.
When delivery notes and pick ticket both are printed at the same time from VL02N, then the pick ticket is being printed in portrait instead of landscape.
The delivery note should print as portrait and pick ticket should print as landscape. But these when printed together from VL02N transaction, the second one pick list is printed as Portrait rather than Landscape.
The spool is generating correctly (DELIVERY NOTE as PORTRAIT and PICK LIST as LANDSCAPE) but when passed to printer both are printing in PORTRAIT format.
The printer settings are same in PRODUCTION as well as QA.In Production system it is working fine but the same settings are there in QA behaving differently.
The printer model we are using is HP Laserjet 4350.
    Please advice.

Kindly chck on the production and quality system version of the form. The landscape/ potrait option is passed on to the smartform and should be independent of the driver program / Tcode. Kindly chck on it again and revert

  • Goods Movement status of delivery not updated from C to A

    Hi
I am facing a peculiar problem.
We reversed goods issue using VL09 however the goods movement status of the delivery has not been updated. The GM status is still showing C- Completely processed.
If we are trying to repeat the process again thinking that reversal has not been done using VL09 for that particular delivery error message is displaying already the goods reversed.
Here we are missing the link. Though the goods reversed status has not been reflecting in the delivery.

    1)  First check in MB51 with movement type 602 whether you could see the delivery reference
    2)  Next go to VOV7, select your item category and see what is maintained for the field "Completion Rule".  It should have been "B".
    3)  Next go to VTLA, select the item category for the combination of your order type and delivery type and see whether you have maintained "+"  for the field "Pos./neg. quantity"

  • Warning message in MIGO - Diference on Qty of entry/Qty in delivery note

    Hello,
I want to set a warning (or even error) message when, in MIGO transaction, the quantity in the delivery note is higher than the quantity in unit of entry set up (both in the quantity screen).
A message regarding the difference between the quantity in unit of entry and the quantity order is standard and is already set.
    How can I proceed?
    Thank you,
    Gonçalo.

    Hi,
Thanks for the help, but I still can't manage to set the warning message. In fact I tried to set it on OMRM and in spro-mat management-purchasing-environment data-define messages. The only message I get in MIGO is M7021 (difference between the quantity order and the quantity in unit of entry (quantity details)... but I also want a message to occur in case of a difference in quantity of delivery note and qty in unit of entry.
I set as much messages as possible, do you know what's the message regarding this warning on table V_160M_
    Thanks again,
    Goncalo.

  • Delivery note printout not coming when PGI is done by Idoc

    Hi All,
We are doing a third party  WM-SAP interface project.
Earlier in SAP when PGI was done for delivery note the print use to come automatically.
But when the PGI is done through Idoc the print done not come and it requires the user to go to VL02n and save to get the print.
    Please help.
    Pankaj

    Hi,
Please check the SAP note 393096.
    Summary
    Symptom
During pick order verification/vendor confirmation via the logical messages WHSCON, SHPCON and SDPICK, no message determination is carried out in the delivery for subsequent messages. If the picking process is performed manually using Transaction VL02N, then message determination for subsequent messages takes place when you save the delivery.
    Other terms
    MESSAGING, DELVRY01, DELVRY02, DELVRY03, WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE, VL10CUC, VL10, LD00, delivery note, pick
    Reason and Prerequisites
As of Release 4.6C, during inbound processing of the logical IDoc categories WHSCON/SHPCON, the system reads the VL10 profile '2000' and interprets the profile parameters.Among other things, the VL10 profile '2000' contains a parameter (NoOutputDet.) that can deactivate message determination for the process.
    Solution
Start Transaction VL10CUC ("Parameter per Profile in Delivery Process") in change mode.
Go to the detail screen of the profile '2000'.
Check the status of parameter 'NoOutputDet.' and adjust the settings of the parameter as follows:
If the parameter 'NoOutputDet.' is active, then message determination is not carried out for the process.
If the parameter 'NoOutputDet.' is not set, then message determination is carried out for the process
Please reward points if it helps

  • Pick Qty not equal to Delivery Qty

    Hi all,
2 questions in this post (slightly different):
    1. A customer may order 10EA of a product. Since we can only confirm 8EA today, they say they'll take 8 instead of 10. We can confirm 8, but the sales order will still be open until the last 2 EA are delivered. How can we have the order closed automatically after 8 is delivered? This is still on the sales order level.
    2. On the delivery level, frequently on the delivery document, the picked qty doesn't equal the delivered qty. Lets say the delivered qty is 10EA. If the picked qty is only 8EA, we can change the delivered qty to 8EA and PGI that. However the SO is still open so it is still expecting us to create a delivery for the remaining 2 pieces. How can we prevent this without simply rejecting the order?

Sales order does not need to be closed as once it is delivered, system will automatically consider it closed, you wont see it in VA05N for open items.

This is standard controls. Depends what you ordered, if not fully delivered, system will know whether its open or not open. you can either reduced the sales order amount or cancel the remaining items. then again, changing the sales order amount may not be the legal option. you can still bill for 8 items and then cancel the sales order later on.

  • Difference between pick qty and delivery qty

    Hi,
My delivery qty is 5 pcs. However while making transfer order from within delivery, the Transfer order is being made automatcially for 17 pcs and so the pick qty is 17 pcs. Due to the differenc ein delivery qty and pick qty, I cannot do PGI in the delivery.
When I use LT0G, and give the delivery and warehouse no and movement type 999, the system does not allow the transaction and gives a message that, function not yet supported for Handling units. But I do not have handling units in my delivery. Neither the system allows me to cnacel the Transfer order thru LT15.
How to correct the above situation so that the TO does not pick up the qty greater than the delivery qty or what other alternatives are there. Also how to ensure that TO is made of qty which is equal to delivery qty.
Iam not aware of WM module, so kindlyu tell in detial pls.

In IMG>LE>WM>Master Data> Define storage type.
Check In stock removal control whether "Full stock removal reqmt act" is active.
If this is active it will try to pull the total quant irrespective of your requirement.

  • Document Generation Wizard - disregard picked Items for Delivery Notes

    Hi,
We have a requirement from a customer whereby when they are creating Delivery Notes from Sales Orders via the Document Generation Wizard to exclude quantities of Items which have been picked on the Sales Order already.
E.g. Sales Order, Product XXXX for Qty 10.
    Qty 5 has been Picked.
Document Generation Wizard is run with an option to create Delivery Note from Sales Order for qty 5 of XXXX
    Thanks,
    Caroline

    Here is the other solution:
    1. Using the draft document generator, you can generate 1 time all the invoices like draft, then you can write a query to display this invoices , then you ca put this query in the alert management to generate the report with this invoices montly when you want.....then you create the invoices that you want, this option is semi-automatic and can work good if you don't have a lot of invoices...
    2. using Data tranfer workbench, you can configure a excel template with all the invoices ready to migrate to SBO with the DTW, also you can make a alert in SBO in order to make this activity in a day montly....this is more automatic.
3.writing "Simply" SDK project to generate this invoices... using the oinvoice SBO object to create automaticaly all the invoices that you want....you can use the draft table information in order to generate this invoices using SDK.
The 3 solutions above are meant to resolve problem relate to auto invoice process, you can think about it.

  • 'Move order pick slip report' Report not picking XML publisher Template.

    Hi,
SUB: i have to create one XML report on .RDF(move order pick slip report).
Submitting procedure move order pick slip report : i have created one Discrete Job and released that Job, then Component pick release for that particular job. then move order number will generates. then automatically fires the 'Move Order Pick Slip' Report.
NOTE: what i meant to say is i am not submitting the report from SRS window. it will fires automatically when Component pick release.
For this i have taken .xml and generated .rtf according to my layout and i have registered with XML publisher also.it is correct . But while running the report i am geting output as XML codes not in template(wht i have .rtf) format.
if i have to see the output in template from. (i have taken in conc program output as XML also) still same problem.
please help me if anybody having solutions.
    Thanks
    Valli

    Hi Valli,
1:The first thing i would suggest that please check the BI Publisher version you are using (on apps/and on template builder also).
2: In any case if your report is not picking up the template and generating the xml output , i suggest you to attach one program "XML Report Publisher" in your SRS.
Oncwe you run your report and its generate the xml output. you have to take the request id & from view ---> submit request--->XML Report Publisher. run this request again.
it will ask for the request id , select the appropriate request id and it will generate the pdf output as per your requirement.
But this is temporary solution , i strongly recommend you to check the updated version of BI Publisher and instaal it on your oracle apps instance. also use the updated version of bi publisher for Layout(Template Builder).

  • Printing Qty of Batches on Delivery Notes

    <b>Version</b> : SAP 2007A SP0 PL06
<b>Description of Requirements</b> : Printing Qty of Batches on Delivery Notes
<b>Valid as of :</b> No legal requirements to date
<b>Business needs :</b> When a delivery of an item is filled by multiple batches, it will print the qty of each batch in Stock Units only. We need to be able to print this qty based on the Sales Unit of Measure. We therefore divided the stock qty by the number of unit per sales unit of measure. This works fine if there is only one batch involved, but returns a (0) zero if multiple batches are involved.
<b>Examples:</b> We need to be able to print the batch qty based on the Sales Unit of Measure.
<b>Current Workaround :</b> Either remove the qty altogether or just leave the qty reported stock units.(this is rather confusing for the recipient of the Delivery Note)
<b>Proposed solution :</b> Further enhancements to the Print Layout facility for printing Batches on documents to allow simple calculations of this nature to occur.

    Dear Mr Mendes,
Obviously there is an error related to the warehouse on the first line of the document. Considering the error message I reckon that the information imported refer to a warehouse were there is not enough qty in stock and with batches.
I would recommend to test the issue without using the add on and see if you can add the missing batches through the application (inventory - item management - batches - complete mode).
If you can it means that the issue relates to the add on and therefore something must be changed in its code.
If you have an issue in the application, please run the select query related to batches that you can find in note n. 1250867 and if that query retrieves results, please log a message.

  • I need a FM to update batch no. & picking qty. of delivery  also to do PGI.

I need a FM to update batch no.& picking qty of delivery items as well as to do PGI (Post goods issue) for the same delivery.I am using 'WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE' but it doesn't update the batch no. and gives error saying no bactches are deifned for delivery no XXXXX and item XXXX.Can any one suggest the suitable function module to do this? It will be better if you can give details about input parameters with example.

  • Customize delivery note during MIGO mov. type 541

    Hi, everyone.
Pls. I need help because during MIGO mov. type 541, I need to print the delivery note just to accompany the materials.
I can create/save the material doc. correctly, but when I save I have to customize the printout of delivery note.
Thanks for tell me the step by step.
    Regards.

    Hi,
Following are the general settings to take the printout of any materail document posted by MIGO:
Go through these steps you can get the GRN Printout
    1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
Enter the local printer where you want to print your Goods posting document
    2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
    3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
    4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt/GI/Transfer Posting Documents
Here for Particular mvt type 101,201,121,311,541 etcu2026 Maintain the Print item as 1--Material document printout
    5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the following--
Select the particular Output type then goto Details
    a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Transmission medium is 1
    b. Print Parameter is 7
    6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Printer Determination by Plant/Str Loc, Maintain the Output device for all your Plants
    7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
    8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
    9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.
