Inventory Transaction Worker - Error

Hi
Error : Transaction quantity has an incorrect sign for the given transaction action*
Getting the above mentioned error when I submit the conc program"Inventory Transaction Worker"
Any suggestion will be of great help

No similar issues are reported on MOS website, so you may log a SR for this error.

Hi,
When I try to run Inventory Transaction Worker, it is erroring out without any log/output messages. In metalink, it has been mentioned that when there are any garbage characters in the input data, it errors out.
I checked the input data also. It seems to be fine.
Could any of you please help me in this regard???

Hi,
No,I didn't tried to relink INCTCW.
Please try to relink the file and see if it helps.
Also, please go through the doc referenced above and check the database log file for any errors.

Inventory Transaction Worker

Can Someone help me on the performance of Inventory transaction Worker?? It takes about 8 mins to complete for each subinventory
(around 200 rows) and we have over 200 subinventories... We have tried all available options...
Oracle Support has asked us to address post this query to the forum as this seemed, as the functionality of the worker seems to be Serial(one by one)....
Suggestions are most welcome as this is a bottleneck to our Project

Serial 하게만 실행되는 Inventory Transaction Worker를 Parallel하게 실행될 수 있도록 한다.
Problem Description
Profile Option - Concurrent: Sequential Requests = 'No'임에도 불구하고 Inventory Trnasaction Worker가 Parallel 하게 실행되지 않고 Sequential 하게만 실행된다.
예를 들면,
-. Inventory Trnasaction Manager가 3 Target processes로 setup.
-. 각 Material Transaction Worker가 100 rows를 handle하게 setup.
500 rows가 동시에 실행되는 경우 Inventory trnasaction worker 3개가 parallel하게 작업하지 않고 한 개씩 sequential하게 작업한다.

WIP move transaction manager code에 concurrent single thread 값이 'Y'로 ssetting 되어 INV transaction worker가 parallel하게 실행되지 않았다.
WIP move transaction manager가 active 상태에도 INV transaction worker가 parallel하게 실행시키기 위해서 patch 2676024 를 적용한다.
Apply patch 2676024.

I believe you should be able to do that using FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST (search MOS for examples on how to use this package).

Inventory transaction worker issue

Hi Team,
while doing the complete job I am calling process tranaction inteface through my custom program but the Material transaction manager in acvtive only. The process transaction Interface prgoram triggering the Inventory tranasction worker in twice but the first time its completed with normal and the second time program errored out with log messsage says error message Output is not being printed because.
why its calling twice can u please let us know.

Inventory transactions - Work Order Less Completions

I am looking for some information on 'work order less completion' (WOLC) type of transaction in inventory (type of inventory transaction).

After enabling debug mode to statement level we pinpointed the problem:
The record is failing on interface completion (wip_flowUtil_priv.processFlowInterfaceRecords), when calling validateInterfaceCompletion procedure.
The exact reason is unknown because the procedure writes the error code directly into not commited record (column error_code, mtl_transactions_interface table).
It seems we are not the only one:
Metalink, Bug 9801561, Status: 11 - Code Bug (Response/Resolution)
Let's wait and see.

Transaction processor error

Hi all,
Appreciate your help in resolving the below issue.
I'm trying to use the MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE table for issuing an inventory item with lot & serial control as disabled. I had tried the same earlier and found to be working fine but now the "Inventory transaction worker" (INCTCW) request is giving me status=Error. The interface record gives Error Code as Transaction processor error and Error explanation is null. The concurrent request log file doesnt provide any specific info and just shows "No completion options were requested.". I know if there was any record related error then error code and error explanation would be clear enough to have a resolution but here i cant find where to get the hint on resolving the issue. The request "Process transaction interface" works as per defined in set up.

Mass inventory transactions of over 50,000 quantity

Hi All,
We have a requirement to do a mass bin move from one location to other. We are expecting a move 50,000 quantities at a time. We have 50 inventory transactions worker scheduled as of now. Is there any way we can fast up this move? We did a move of 30,000 and it took almost 4 hours.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

1) Increase workers
2) Stop other people from submitting concurrent programs
3) If you use vitualization, then try to temporarily increase the box hardware (for the concurrent tier)
4) Make sure you don't run much else on the d/b.
5) Run stats on the inv schema after loading the interface table.
Besides, that you don't have much choice.

I Created a plan with one Subject area Supply Chain Inventory Transactions. while running i am getting an error (out of 241 tasks 22 got failed). Nothing got Failed in Informatica. TASK_Group_Load_PositionHierarchy got failed. when i go through the log the error is like this.

I added one more temp tablespace like temp3, it resolves my problem, i am getting sucesses now. temp tablespace is using while exicuting large queries like aggrications.

Transaction processor error in Misc. Transaction

I have read all 3 metalink notes & solution written in note id: 412110.1 is applicable but that is for 11i and i am working in R12.0.4. It is some sort of bug.
i.e "the existing items can be fixed by unchecking and checking again the costing enabled flag and the inventory asset value flag."
But there is one problem with the solution that when i try to uncheck both flags system shows error:
"APP-INV-0557: You can't update this field when:
- On-hand quantities, pending & uncosted transactions exists"
Now there are onhand quantities exists for the item and i cannot uncheck or check the costing and asset value flag. Its working only for items with no onhand quantities as number of items are increasing and i can't clear on-hand quantities for every item.
Plz guide if i can avoid error and process misc. transactions without removing onhand quantities.

ECC Transaction iView Error on Browser Resize

Hello.
I have created hundreds of SAP ECC Transaction iViews in the portal. After doing some testing, I realized that any time a browser window is modified when an ECC transaction iView is within display, the resize causes the transaction iView to refresh. Upon refreshing, the transaction throws error or works as if the user submitted the transaction on the backend, instead of just remaining in the same state.
For instance, if you have an SAP Transaction iView to an ECC system for tcode QM01 and it is accessible through the Detailed Navigation, this iView can be opened either in its own browser window, or within the desktop inner page. If configured to pop-up in a new browser window and you click or drag to resize the browser window, the transaction refreshes, and throws the error: "Fill in all required entry fields." This is the same error that is thrown in ECC when a user submits the transaction with no data. Similarly, if you have the iView configured to open within the portal framework and you click on the transaction it opens in the desktop inner page. If you maximize/restore down the browser window displaying the portal, the transaction refreshes within the desktop inner page and throws this same error, like it was submitted.
It happens with every ECC transaction iView that I have created, but does not happen with SRM IAC iViews, Web DynPro iViews, or SUS functionality iViews. This leads me to believe it is a problem in ITS. Does anyone know what is going wrong, or how to fix this?

Hi,
Super admin has permission for end user for all the iViews. So he will be able to view the iView. As mentioned, please check if the end user permission is given for the end user to access the iView. Also check if the permission is given for that particular system. To check permissions, go to System Administration -> Permissions -> Portal permissions -> Portal Content. Check for iView and system that you have created.

Get error from SQL AGENT: The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D024

I am running SQL Agent that executes an SSIS process from sql server1. The SSIS process executes its SQL/tables/sp’s against another sql server2.
I get an error after adding data flow tasks with transaction supported within a sequence with transaction required. The error, “The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D024 "The transaction
manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions"
Prior to adding this sequence everything was working from sql agent, and there were other sequences with oledb destinations.
Everything works when running within SSIS Package.

I don’t want to remove transaction required for the “Remove Duplicates from Staging” sequence.

DTC was running on remote computer. The problem was it was no longer accepting transactions from remote servers. This was in SSIS so I had to turn to "Transaction Supported" for all Data Flow Transactions.
