Investment grants exceed APC in reference area 01 Msg no. AA661 in ABIF

Dear gurus,
When I execute the T-code ABIF in order to create an asset transaction with investment suport, I've got the following message:
Investment grants exceed APC in reference area 01
    Message no. AA661
Asset affected: 100000000004-0005
Diagnosis
    The posting document cannot be processed since the total of investment
    grants in the individual areas exceeds the acquisition value in
    reference depreciation area 01.
Procedure
    Correct the posting document.
I haven't got ane idea about the problem. Where is it? how can I solve it? Did I have to do this transaction with an asset that haven't got any entry / transaction?

to solve it, I did 2 things:
in the custumizing "define how depreciation areas post to general ledger" (in organizational structures => depreciation area).
then click the depreciation area that concerned, and for subvention investment grand select " all values allowed".
but, the problem occures again, so I check the value in asset explorer and I saw that the amount that I entered for this asset was to high, aslo I've created a new asset in AS01. Then, after entering the key of investment support measure, I checked an amount in abif that was correct. I'm doing exercices, so it's not a problem for me to create a new asset.
I don't know if you're doing exercices like me (I 'm doing an internship in order to learn how to use SAP) so I can create other asset but for a compagny it would be more difficult.
Tell me if you can solve the problem,

Indeed, I entry the following datas, name of compagny/fiscal year (2009)/ and posting period (7). So I changed the posting period, and entered 001 in the posting period case. Now, the test run is ok BUT always empty.
Why is it empty?
Can someone help me to solve it?

to solve it, I did 2 things:

Error:maximum investment amount exceeded in area 51

Hello,
When I am reversing the retirement document in AB08 , I am getting the error as "maximum investment amount exceeded in area 51".
I maintian the maximum amount for area 51 in customizing, but still there is error.
Is there any other way to reverse the retirment document, either through ABSO or some manual entry.
Please help.

Hi,
When defining the investment support measure (tr. ANVEST) you have to define a base area (usually 01 Book depreciation). SAP checks that the value of the investment support doesn't exceed the APC value of the base area. Even if the maximum amount defined in the investment support measure is very high (higher than an APC value of an asset). Defining a maximum percentage rate higher than 100% is not possible.
I have the same issue. I want to be able to post investment support that is higher than the APC value. If anyone found a solution, please reply to this thread.

Investment grant on asset

Hi all,
I would like to know how it could be possible to integrate investment grant on a legacy asset.
I have two kind of assets :
asset capitalized on a previous fiscal year
asset capitalized on the current fiscal year
Integrating investment grant for asset capitalized on a previous fiscal year is not really difficult, I mean, I have to fill the investment grant directly on the takeovers values.
But, I really don't know how I could integrate the investment grant on a asset capitalized on the current fiscal year. I think I have to create a transaction on the AS92, using a transaction type designed for the investment grant with a asset value date ranged 01.01.2009 to the takeover date.
Nevertheless, I have an error message when I fill the transaction type defined for the investment grant:
"Transaction Type I99 cannot be used here"
T-code AO83 : I99 - Mouvement type for investment support measure 99
transaction type groue : 50 - Allocation of investment support
credit transaction
capitalize fixed asset

Symptom
You cannot transfer investment support posted manually between the fiscal year start date and date of legacy data transfer for a legacy assets data transfer during the fiscal year.
If you try to transfer a transaction with transaction type Ixx where xx is an investment support key using Transaction AS91, the error message AA207: "Transaction type Ixx cannot be used here".

For technical reasons you cannot use transaction types during legacy assets data transfer which were restricted to certain depreciation areas.
Solution
The easiest solution is to do without transferring investment support posted in the current year. Neither transfer the investment support to the General Ledger nor to Asset Accounting and post the investment support collectively after completion of legacy assets data transfer with the function "Periodic processing" "Investment grant".
If you must transfer posted investment support nonetheless, you must do this with another transaction type. To do this proceed as follows:
1. Copy transaction type 154 and enter asset history sheet group 50 there.
2. Only enter the asset value date and the new transaction type on the transaction screen when you transfer the transactions with Transaction AS91.
3. Specify the investment support on the screen "Proportional values" on the right column (values of the current year) in precisely those areas in which a reduction of APC should be carried out according to investment support.
Since the investment support is not derived from the amount posted with the new transaction type but transferred as an accumulated depreciation, differences may occur in special situations.
If you want to transfer much investment support this way, first check whether subsequent processing (display in reporting, subsequent retirements and transfers) corresponds to your requirements.
I tried by copying the transaction type 154.
But it doesn't works !!
I have the same error message : Transaction type XXX cannot be used here

Data Source Level SRS (SSRS) Issue - Permissions granted to user... are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)

I've inherited a bit of a security issue and would appreciate any insight.
The bottom line is that I have a user than can run one report from folder "X", but not the report next to it.
Here is the problem context. The names are changed to protect the innocent. Sharepoint is not involved.
The SSRS Home Folder has Security "Group or User" of "DomainX\SSRS_Browsers" with Role(s) "Browser"
"SSRS_Browsers" is an AD group. The user with the issue (DomainX\UnhappyUser) is a member of this group.
The user is able to navigate to folder "X" (one level below Home) and run Report "A" successfully. But, when they try to run report "B", they get:
"An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) The permissions granted to user "DomainX\UnhappyUser" are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)
The difference between report "A" that works, and report "B" that doesn't is that report "B" references a data set from a different data source.
Both reports reference DataSource1. The failing report additionally references DataSource2. The SSRS logs confirm this is where the problem is:

Both data sources have "stored" credentials with the same AD user: "DomainX\SSRS_Reports". Both data sources reference the same instance of SQL Server. They do have different "Initial Catalog" values. (DatabaseA
and DatabaseB). I can run both reports successfully, but I more authority.
"SSRS_Reports" is defined as a "Login" user under "Security" in SSMS at the instance level. The Server Role is "public".
DatabaseA (which is behind the data source that works) has Security->Users->DomainX\DataBaseA_Readers. This is an AD group, that includes has "SSRS_Reports" as a member.
DataBaseA_readers (in SQL Server, at the DatabaseA level) is a member of role db_datareader.
DataBaseB (which is behind the data source that fails) has Security->Users->DomainX\DataBaseB_Readers. This is also an AD group, that includes "SSRS_Reports" as a member.
DataBaseA_readers (in SQL Server, at the DatabaseB level) is a member of role db_datareader.
Does anyone have any insights as to where my problem may be?

After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. The Home Folder has Security for "DomainX\SSRS_Browsers" group with "Browser" Role, the folder “X” and Report “A” security is inherited from its parent item, but the Report “B” Item security
is not inherited from its parent item. In this way, the DomainX\UnhappyUser has insufficient permission to render the Report “B”.
So, please try to check the Security page of Report “B” and compare it with Report “A” security settings. If possible, we can click “Revert to Parent Security” button to replace all the defined security settings with the security settings of its parent folder
”X”.

How to know what ActiveX references are still open

Okay, so I'm about the millionth person to post about this topic, but I feel like I know what I should be doing, but have hit a wall. I have read through pretty much everything I could find in the forums about references and ActiveX.
I am communicating with Excel via ActiveX, and everything works seemlessly, until I realized that if the user closes the Excel sheet (via an "exit" button on my FP), the "EXCEL.exe" process is still running. I've read enough to know that this probably points to a reference that I have not closed.
Problem is, I have poured over my code, and as far as I can tell, I have closed every reference, in the opposite order it was opened (as I read to do in a post earlier).
Aside from casting references to int's to see what is still considered "active" (as I mentioned earlier, all the ones I can find are closed, so this doesn't help me), is there a way to determine which ActiveX references are still open?
Even a way outside of LV? A Microsoft utility even or ...well anything! This is very annoying, and I know it should be quick and easy, I just have to know what is remaining open.
Or, am I missing something else that might be keeping EXCEL.exe running? (yes, I have an application quit and close the application reference)

As you said it yourself closing the same number of references as you open and using Application Quit should be enough to close down Excel.exe.
Did you run your code in highlight execution to see how the behavior of your program changes when you hit the "Exit" button on your Front Panel?
If you can post the minimum amount of code that reproduces the error, I will be more than happy to take a look at it.

References are becoming invalid when passed to an actor using the Actor Framework

I have having an issue with passing a couple of references to an actor using the actor framework 3.0.7 (LabVIEW 2011 & TestStand 2010 SP1).
Some background:
My application has three main components:
Main VI -- is not part of any class and Launches UI Actor.
UI Actor -- Launches the teststand actor
TestStand Actor -- Initializes and starts teststand.
The two references showing similar behavior (invalid reference) are the TestStand App Manager control and the "Current VI's Menubar" reference. The App Mgr control is on the front panel of the UI Actor's Actor Core.vi. The menubar reference is retrieved in the block diagram of the UI Actor's Actor Core.vi
Now,
When I run the Main VI I get an error in the TestStand Actor's Actor Core.vi (Remember Main VI launches UI Actor launches TestStand Actor) because the App Mgr and menubar references are invalid (. I have checked and verified that in this scenario the references are valid in the UI Actor before it launches the teststand actor.
If I run the UI Actor's Actor Core.vi stand alone (i.e. run it top level) the App Mgr and menubar references are passed to the teststand actor, no error occurs, and the code functions as expected.
Why would these references be invalid by simply starting a different top level VI? Could it have something to do with when the references are passed vs. when the front panel is loaded into memory?
I tried putting the App Mgr control on the front panel of the Main VI and passing it to the UI Actor and then to the TestStand Actor. This works....
Anyone have any experience or knowledge to why this is occurring?

Generally, references in LV are "owned" by the hierarchy they are first created in, and the hierarchy is determined by the top level VI. Once the hierarchy goes idle or out of memory, the references created by that hierarchy are automatically closed. That's usually what causes something like this - the reference is created in one hierarchy (let's say the main VI hierarchy) and then that hierarchy stops running.
I don't know the AF well enough to say if that's really the case (I actually thought that it always launches a separate top level dynamic process, which I assumed is where the UI actor's core VI would always be called), but that might help explain it. If not, you might wish to post to the AF group in the communities section.

I have looked at the Reporting Services Config. Mgr. and it looks like the Report Mgt. URL is set for port 80 and no SSL is configured. The rsreportserver.config file has the SecureConnectionLevel set to "0"
My domain account is listed under Security\Logins and holds the 'Server Roles' of public and sysadmin, 'User Mapping' is DBO for the 'ReportServer$SCOM' and 'ReportServer$SCOMTempDB' and the role membership shows db_owner and public for these as well.
Any assistance with getting this working would be greatly appreciated.

The Reporting Services error rsAccessedDenied occurs when a user does not have permission to perform an action. To troubleshooting this issue, please make sure that you have sufficient permission and the report server name is correct.
In fact, reporting Services uses role-based security to grant user access to a report server, and there are two types of roles: Item-level roles and System-level roles. On a new installation, only local administrators have access to a report server. In order
to grant access to visit the URL http://server:port/ReportServer to users, a local administrator must create a role assignment to define the tasks a user can perform. To solve this problem, please refer to the
following steps:
Start Report Manager by going to URL
http://scomsql/reportserver_SCOM.
Click Site Settings at the top right of the page.
Click Security in the left pane.
If a role assignment already exists for the user, click Edit.
Otherwise, click New Role Assignment. In user, enter the user account.
Select appropriate access, and then click Apply.
The issue may be caused by the UAC or Internet Explorer security setting, please try to follow this steps:
1. Open the Internet options of the IE and add the report server URL into trusted site in the Security tab.
2. Run the IE as administrator.
Besides, if the user need to have access to reports, folders, models and shared data sources, we can assign Item-level roles on the root node (the Home folder) or on specific folders or items.

Investment Grant set up.

Hi,
I have a requirement whereby the investment grant needs to be set up.I have done a similar one and in that I had actually set up Investment grant for an asset class with a fixed amount ,activated Grant for the asset class using AR11N Tcode and it worked fine.
Now the requirement is I have to set up for an asset class whereby the Grant amount has to be keyed in by the user.
It is differnt for differnt assets belonging to the same asset class.
How can I do this??Kindly advise.

Which investment grant to be used for a specific asset depends on the assignment of the Investment Support Measure in the master data of the asset. So, you need to assegn the correct investment support measure in the asset master data.

I believe this is a very frequently-asked question in SSRS, maybe the more famous one. For many times, I solved it for others.
But today, I spent one afternoon on this issue, unresolved.
My environment: SSRS 2008R2, DB in local default instance(SQL2008 R2)
My windows account and one of my service accounts(launching my SSRS) are both in local admin group.
After configuring the SSRS, in local server, open IE(run as administrator, using my domain service account) to access "http://localhost/reports". It pops this error:
The permissions granted to user 'Doamin\myServiceAccount' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)Get Online Help
Going back to my desktop, Open IE using my windows account to access "http://servername/reports", seeing the the same error and saying my windows account doesn't have sufficient permission on that server
On Server side, use SSMS to connect local report service, and try to check who is in "system administrator" in SSRS instance, it pops up the error as below,
The permissions granted to user '' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) (Reporting Services SOAP Proxy Source)
If using IE to reach "http://localhost/reportserver"(Web Service page), both my windows account and service account work--it doesn't complain anything.
Checked all things I know, still seeing this error. Notice my windows account and my service account are both in local admin group.
Anyone can share some thoughts on this?

Figured out finally.
In rsreportserver, we put in our custom code of security control as below.

I am working on SharePoint 2013 and using Report Viewer webpart (imported from RSWebpart.cab file from SQL server 2008 R2) for showing SSRS reports. I have added Report Viewer webpart in page and done all configuration related to it like set Report
Manager Url and Report Path in the webpart properties. But when i browse that page it is giving the below error -
The permissions granted to user 'domain\username' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)"
But when i run IE as 'Run as Administrator' and open the same page which contains the Report Viewer webpart, now i am able to view the report on the page and the error gone away.
I am not sure what is happening here, what can be the reason for such unpredicable behaviour and what can be the work around for this. Every user can't open the IE in 'Run as Administrator' mode. So what can be the possible solution for this.

Solved. In IE I went to the RS Home page, selected Detail View, put a check in front of every folder, went to Folder Settings and then added my domain user as a Browser in New Role Assignment. Reports work fine now.

The display of sub screen exceeds the sub screen area

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement, that i need to make changes to one of the screens in the standard transaction. I found there is a screen exit exist for this. This screen is called in the tab strip(In the standard transaction). I have done the screen changes in the sub screen. When calling the standard transaction this sub screen exceeds the sub screen area of the standard transaction tab strip. I know if the sub screen size is more than the sub screen area then scroll bars will be displayed automatically. But i am facing a strange problem that the display of sub screen exceeds the sub screen area. I need scrol bar instead of exceeding the sub screen.
Please help me to solve this problem

Hi,
in reports the language of the picklists corresponds always to the company default language.
The only solution I now (its really static and not so nice):
Create one report per language and change the picklist field by using CASE statements...you see its hard to refresh if you have lots of values :)

Credit note with invoice reference are not concatenate in F110

When I create a credit note with invoice reference by VA01, the fields payment term, Baseline date for due date calculation, Assignment and Payment method are copied correctly from invoice to credit note, but in FI document the field invoice ref. 'BSEG-REBZG' is not filled. So when I run the transaction F110 Automathic Payment (for Italy) the invoice is rigthly payed but the credit not is included into Exceptions with the note 'No pymt possible because items with a credit bal.still exist'. If I put in the field 'BSEG-REBZG' the reference to the invoice, the one and credit note are concatenated and I have a rigth parzial payment.
There is a way to have this link when I post the Fi document by vf01-vf02 without putting it manually using FB03?
