Invisible logos and photos in presenter area

Has anybody had trouble previewing logos and / or photos placed in the presenter's area of Presenter 8. I've checked that the files are rgb, but I still can't see them. Any ideas?

My iMac is stuck at startup where the apple logo and the spinning thing are

I have Leopard, and have recently tried to change my dock. After i added spaces, i found i could not delete them, for some reason. I tried restarting my iMac and i am stuck at the spinning thing right after the blank white screen. My guess is maybe I screwed something up while working with CoreServices (System/Library/CoreServices). Also, when i downloaded the DockChanger app, I tried to change the Dock back to default. It said i didn't have the files to run the default Dock, even though when i changed my dock, I saved those files, put them on my Maxtor external HD, and then put them back into CoreServices when i wanted to change it back. I have no idea what happened. Right now I can't start up my computer, and am typing this from someone else's. I even tried reinstalling Leopard, but it said i needed Tiger first. Please help!

All right! I got it to work! I just inserted the leopard disk and chose restore system from Time Machine. It worked liked a charm. Thanks apple for Time Machine!

Photos on sites are blurry on the Macbook Pro Retina Display?

I just got a Macbook Pro Retina Display and while browsing I noticed that logos and photos on sites looked blurry. this is something that really bothers me in the fact that I'm a design and photography student.. i dont know if i should return it and get the old macbook pro or what...

Give the world time. Resolutions above 2560x1600 are only meant for the 30" cinema display I am using right now, and the rest of the world does not have resolution suited for displays above 200ppi below 30". But, you are a photographer, so am I, and the Retina Display is beautiful at high res content including DSLRs and film scans.

You are in recovery mode, you need to restore it through iTunes on your computer then reload your most recent backup.

Many events and photos are missing from my iphoto. I have time machine and would like to restore without creating duplicates. The issue is although my photos are presently blank time machine/iphoto does see the file so importing them will create duplicat

For some unknown reason, events and photos in my Iphoto are appearing blank. The photos have a title / placeholder but no picture. I use time machine and have back ups, my goal is to restore the photos without creating duplicates. Unfortunately iphoto sees the blank photos as if the picture exists? Help

If you want to use your back up you need to restore then entire Library from Time Machine, and then replace the damaged Library with it.

I am connected to the computer with my phone and it says there are 0 photos to import, however I have over 200 on my phone to import. I am trying to figure out why they aren't showing up.

Have you tried to reset the iPhone and tried again to import?
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Photos. They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. Copied them (hours and hours) to external hard drive. They are now in alphabetical order (19,000 of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order-and have been taken with different cameras- help!!!!!!

They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. There are 19,000+ of them, some rescued from a pc crash- which I used the nifty iPhoto to put back into date order.
I want to take them all off my laptop, now............as I need to use it for WORK!!
Copied them (hours and hours) to another external hard drive.
They are now in alphabetical order (all 19,000+ of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order. (-They have also been taken with different cameras over the years and some of the generic camera numbering remains.)
I have tried to copy them (only a few as an experiment) one event at a time, but that again "opens up" the Event "folder" and tips them out as individuals and therefore just lists image letters and numbers alphabetically.
How can I copy
the whole library still in "Events" to an external hard drive?
the folders/albums I have already made on to this hard drive?
and how can I add to this back up monthly, again keeping events and folders separate and updated?
Mac is so user friendly - there must be a way.........

UPDATE : I have re-installed from disk, various apps that were no longer functioning such as iLife, iWork etc. So, I now can access my photos again.
Also, I had to re-install all the software for my printer ( Stylus Pro 4880 ) and reset it so the printer is working again.
Photoshop CS4 won't open. I think I will have to get in touch with Adobe as basically, I guess they have a built-in "blocker" which prevents me from opening the app as the license is for only 1 user and having re-installed the OS, there are now, in effect, 2 users ( Me and Me 1, I think ).
So, having added on a new external HD, Time Machine has made a copy of most of the files, folders, apps etc onto the external HD. The internal HD is still nearly full ( 220 GBs out of 232 GBs ).
I am guessing the way to go now in order to free up space on the internal HD is to delete/trash older photos from my iPhoto library and hope that if needed, I will be able to access them on the external HD.
Am I correct ? Please advise before I do something I will regret.

I have recently purchased a Mac computer (updated to Maverick) to go with my Epson Stylus Photo RX500 printer which has given excellent service with my old Windows computer. However, when trying to print pictures or photos via Photoshop Elements 11, the best results I can get are using the Colour Management and Epson Colour controls in the printing options box.
My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management, The only way I can reset the controls is to shut down the printer and computer and restart.
Could there may be a setting somewhere that I need to adjust please? I have been in touch with Epson and they say that the Epson Colour controls are part of the Photoshop Elements software but a post on the Adobe forum brought no results and I am unable to contact Adobe.

Hello Garry. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have used a different title from "How do I post a question?" That should come after trying to resolved the colour settings first. However, to answer your question, after experimenting with all the different settings in Photoshop Elements and Epson software, I now start with PSE11 Colour settings then click "no colour management" then after clicking Print, I choose "More Options/Colour Management/Colour Handling/Printer Manages Colour" then I choose "Page Setup/Layout/Colour Matching" which then shows Epson Colour Controls but I also choose "Layout/Colour Management" which then shows "Colour Controls/Mode" I then of course choose an Epson printer profile depending on the paper I am using. I get good results but as I said, the Colour Matching and Colour Controls are then greyed out. Hope that makes sense.

On another note, the iPhone tells me that it's ''busy'' when opening a photo on the computer.
(I tried restarting my PC, connecting via another USB port, importing using PhotoStream, etc...)

Are you using the front or rear camera? When you say they are low quality, are you referring to file/pixel size, or how the picture looks? As far as upside down, how are you holding the phone? Older versions of Windows have issues reading the Metadata from the pictures and will not display the same.

Help! I just want my photos back and I know they are somewhere!

Hey all, So last November my iPhone 4 was stolen and I replaced it with a 4s. Verizon told me I could not get my pictures back no matter what, HOWEVER, now my 4s is telling me it cannot back up to icloud because there is not enough storage. I looked at my usage adn 4.3GB of my 5GB is being taken up by my old phone, the 4. This leads me to believe that SOMEWHERE my photos exist (i went to maui last summer and all i want are my photos) because that was really the bulk of what was on my old phone. It says my iphone backed up the day it was stolen, but where would it have backed up to if not on icloud? I went to icloud.com and see you can't access photos. But somewhere my photos still exist! Please please help if you can!!!

Verizon would have no idea whether your iPhone was backed up or not, so whoever you spoke to was talking out of their hat.
You can set up your new iPhone to Photo Stream and that should not affect anything currently on the iPhone. Restoring from a backup will, of course, so before you try that step you'll want to copy any new data somewhere where you can get it back once you do the restore.

Wich version of iPhoto do you have? You need iPhoto '09 or '11 to order prints.
Make an album of all photos you want to order in the same order.
Then select all photos at once, when you use Share > order prints.
You should see a panel like this, where you can mark the quantities. The screenshot is from iPhoto 9.6:

All of my music and photos are on my iphone. I want to transfer them to my new PC. How do I do it?

My old PC crashed. All of my songs and photos are on my iphone. I want to transfer my (1) photos to my new computer, and (2) my 2800 songs (only 300 or so of which I purchased through iTunes) to iTunes on my new PC. I have tried everyhting! I can see the about 300 songs (must be the ones I purchased on iTunes) in iTunes on my new PC. I can see the other 2500 songs in iTunes on my new PC, but they are in gray font and I can't play them. I need to clean songs and photos off of my iphone ASAP because it is full and doesn't work well, but I don't want to do so if there is a risk that I will loose them or have to reload 300 music CDs to my new computer.

Why are my notes and photos no being shared anymore?

I have an iphone and ipad which were synched just fine until now. I just added a Mac Mini and changed my Apple ID password and now nothing is synched anymore. My notes are now different on all devices and no photo stream. I have reset my new Apple ID password in all places, but that doesn't help. When I attempt to but a check in the boxes next to notes and photos in the icloud settings, I am prompted to create a me.com address, even though I use the Apple ID address for icloud. Even if I attempt to enter my me.com addres, it tells me that that one is already taken.
Please help. I need to be able to synch and share photos and notes on all devices.

Whilst you've changed details on your devices, have you changed them with Apple.
