Invisible Watermark is destroyed by Flash

I have signed my images with an invisible watermark. But when I imported them into Flash and created and .swf file. The invisible watermark was destroyed, probably by the compression. I set the compression up to 90% but with the same result.
Has anybody an idea how I can establish an invisible watermark with Flash?
@developers: I think it will be a good feature for the future if Flash can create an invisible watermark by itself.
Looking forward to answers and solutions.

I just did a security update and when I plugged in my CF Card it started doing it again! Same error.
What the *&#$*&^ is going on?
The only way I can safely import photos is to plug the CF Card into my laptop running Snow Leopard and import across WIFI. It took long enough to import via USB, now I have to go through WIFI?
Is this how it works on Windows?

Lightroom friends and all others,
I use Adobe Lightroom 2.3, Adobe Design Premium CS4 operating with latest Macintosh system architecture version, OSX 10.5.6, using MBP 17" laptop and MacPro.
I tried to Google on the topic, but most seems to show invisible watermark softwares for Windows-based platform. I have also went into three or four links, but came out for Windows even Google failed to reflect the search query result I asked for MAC. (sighs)
I would appreciate some heads up, techniques and if any standalone application or plug-in I can purchase, let me know with link etc.

Just slightly off topic...just curious as I don't intend to use Digimarc but...Is the Digimarc filter supposed to be in the 64bit version of PS CS4? I don't see it there but I do see it in the 32 bit version. That's on both my desktop and laptop with Design Premium installed.

Can I put in an invisible watermark in my videos with premiere, and if so, how?

Yes. You can do that quite easily. I am not saying that people can't get around it, but it is unlikely that most people who would steal a video would know where to look.
I had to try this to make sure, but it worked just fine.
I began to export a short video, and when the dialog box came up to export it, there was a Metadata button. So I clicked on it.
What that did was bring up a box where I could add all kinds of Metadata. I decided to use two fields in case the first was easily found.

When I imported it back into Premiere Pro to read the metadata, I had to add those two fields to the display, but that is easy enough. It came out like this:

Free invisible digital watermark?

Does Lightroom or Photoshop has some form of invisible watermarking tools? I am looking for a free digital watermark app that doesn't involve visible text or images being placed on the image. I used to use Digimarc when it is free (years ago), but now there are subscription prices, although there is a free plug-in download for Photoshop.
I only want to use it on 2 photos that I am emailing to someone. Does anyone know whether Lightroom can do it? Or know of any such apps?

How do I find and install the new Watermark plug-in?

I'm using Ps CC and have discovered that there is some kind of new watermark plug in but I can't find it, plus I can't find the plug-in installer. I already have my watermark designed, but I want to batch process addding it to multiple folders at a time. I've tried some action sets I found, but there must be some tricks I don't know. I did find one plug in (Adobe watermark 222) but I get an error message when I try to run it. Says it's only good for versions between 12 and 14???

Digimarc is a plug-in that places an invisible watermark into your images. I think what you may be referring to when you write new kind of watermark you may be referring to the Watermark panel for CS5, CS6 and CC which add your visible watermarks to image. There is nothing new about visible watermarks and IMO the panel is a hassle to use. Its easer to create an action that will watermark any size image and use it then maintain different size watermarks to be applied by some Photoshop panel or go through multiple steps in a panel. Create two or more flash files from one (Excel) data source

Hi experts,
I have the following requirement about Xcelsius.
Our data source is a relational database. Via the ODBC driver we manage to create several queries and execute them into Microsoft Excel. Those excel sheets are the basic for the Xcelsius reports.
Now we want to build some highly visualized reports on that, but the crucial fact is. We don't want to have all the reports in one FlashFile, but we need several flash file depending on the area of the queries.
Hence our requirement would be one of the following points:
- create multiple flash files from one .xlf
- create multiple .xlf from data source
Another requirement is the automatic execution of the process. We don't want to have a person in between, who has to call all the .xlf files to create the Flash reports step by step. What we need is an automatic process.
Can this requirement be fulfilled in a way?
Maybe by using the Xcelsius SDK?

Firstly talking about the important requirement i.e. automating the process:
In your case you can achieve this by using the XML maps. This will pick the data automatically when ever report is refreshed.
Secondly, both the approaches are correct, however i would go with the first one.
1. Create multiple flash files from one .xlf
You just need to create one dashboard and have a filter on areas (Invisible) and then export to flash (for every area).
2. Create multiple .xlf from data source
This approach is also fine, however you need to create multiple dashboards and do the same thing i.e filter data based on area.
P.S. Did you get a chance to explore options to integrate Xcelsius with your Relational Database, this will be much effective.

With Flextras Components, we put the watermark under the component and make the component slightly transparent. Most Flex components are already slightly transparent, so it's no big deal.
Although I have not experimented with this, I believe you can put it on top and specify mouseEnabled and tabEnabled to make it a virtually invisible watermark.

Protecting photos with watermark or "lock"

I would like to protect my photos on my Web site so that they cannot be copied. I have heard that I can watermark them in a way that doesn't show on the Web site but will show up if someone tries to copy them... is that possible? Or is there a way to lock the photos so they can't be copied at all?

The invisible watermark method is one where text is added to a photo in a manner that it can't be seen by the naked eye but it can by a special application (http://www.dphotojournal.com/adding-invisible-watermark-to-your-photos/).
With a 3rd party editor like Photoshop Elements you can put varying TEXT on a photo.
You might be able to do it with one of the watermarking applications found thru a search at VersionTracker.com (search for "watermark") if you have a transparent image of your watermark available to apply by those applicatons.
The sizes of photos that end up in iWeb (except for those in a album or gallery where you set the download size large) is at a max of 800 x 600 pixels and not suitable for decent printing at much above 4 x 3 inches.

Yes you can, what you need to do is create an invisible
button, for all purposes this is just a clickable region that works
just like a hot spot ( image map ) in HTML. If you need help on

Additionally, it would be very useful to be able to embed watermarks that are visible to printing services, but not visible when viewing files on screen. I don't know if that's even possible, but it would help photographers who want to provide the files to our clients, but don't want them to have unlimited usage. They can enjoy the photos on their computers, they could print too, but the printing services would be limited by whatever copyright limitations the photographer places on the invisible watermark. For example, I might put something like:
copyright 2011 Iconic Photography, Vancouver, Canada
This image may be reproduced to a maximum print size of 8" x 12"

This would prevent clients from making their own albums or wall prints. Whaddaya say Adobe?

Video connection problem

Its been a few months since I wrote any actionscript and for the life of me I can't find the reason why this script will publish but when i try to view the stream via a diffrent netstream the viewer shows nothing. Can somebody please take a look at this and find the problem. much appreciated

Digimarc Plug-in.

Anyone aware of a Digimarc plug-in for Lightroom 5 ?
I have been processing my images in Lightroom but after that am forced to work on them again in Photoshop only to apply my Digimarc watermarks.

Magnets and iPod nano

I have a question about magnets and how they may effect my iPod. The bag I plan to use for an upcoming trip has two pockets on the front with very strong magnets. I planned to put the iPod in a little change wallet and put it in the main compartment that doesn't have magnets. Is this safe? The company that makes the bag said hard drives would be destroyed but flash drives would be fine. They said nano and shuffle were ok. Sorry, but I have no idea which I drive have, though it is a nano. Can anyone advise me if it truly is ok to use this bag with my ipod? I really don't want to destroy it!

iPod Nanos work off of a flash drive not a harddrive. So my guess is that you nano will be fine. If you have an iPod Classic then you might have to worry.

Kuler CC 2014 is working also fine on my PS CC 2014. But ii is a pity that Adobe's own Watermark extension (probably also Flash based) doesn't work anymore.
It's weird that Adobe drops the Flash support, although a lot of their extensions are Flash based, but didn't provide new versions of their populair extensions which works on PS CC 2014. A big fail!
Now we have to wait till the new and working extensions are ready to download.
Does anybody have a good tip for watermark software which is free?
