"Invisible" Write statement possible?
Hi!
I want to print a list which includes a checkbox in every line. I use the write statement therefore and loop afterwards with read line over the list to check whether the checkbox was checked or not.
In the line I write the tabix, to know which dataset the user wants, that works but it's not really nice, that the user sees the tabix.
Is it possible to make the write statement invisivble so that I can read the information with read line, but the User doesn't see it?
Thanks!
Tobi
Hi Tobias,
try it this way:
Tables:
sflight.
Data:
char type c.
Data:
t_sflight like standard table of sflight.
Select * from sflight into table t_sflight.
Loop at t_sflight into sflight.
Write:/ char as checkbox,
sflight-carrid,
sflight-connid.
Endloop.
At line-selection.
DO.
READ LINE sy-index FIELD VALUE char sflight-carrid sflight-connid.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
EXIT.
ELSEIF char = 'X'.
WRITE: /
sflight-carrid,
sflight-connid.
ENDIF.
ENDDO.
With luck,
Pritam.

Hi Guys,
I have a internal table with data like below.
PALNO TKNUM
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-2 /5 |0000001144
0000001144-01-2 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-3 /5 |0000001144|
I want to use write statement for displaying these values seperatly to identity palet(PALNO) wise..
when palno is same I want write statement to display as follows
PALNO TKNUM
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144| For same PALNO
0000001144-01-1 /5 |0000001144|
SKIP 2 Lines.
PALNO TKNUM
0000001144-01-2 /5 |0000001144| For same PALNO
0000001144-01-2 /5 |0000001144|
SKIP 2 Lines
PALNO TKNUM
0000001144-01-3 /5 |0000001144| For same PALNO
If this possible by write statements.
Plz let me know.
Thanks,
Prasad.Data:w_tknum like itab-tknum.
Loop at itab.
If w_tknum ne Itab-knum and sy-tabix > 1.

Deleting line on output screen that is written by Write statement....
Hello Gurus,
In my case there is data written on output screen. When I double click on line on ABAP report execution output screen, I want that line to be deleted from output screen.
I know I will have to write the logic at line-selection but how can I delete line that is written on screen using write statement ?
Regards,
Jainam.
Edited by: Jainam Shah on Nov 12, 2009 4:47 PMHi Jainam,
When you say AT LINE-SELECTION. It is an intercative list only.
This is not possible to delete when you double click on a record.
However I have created a small code snippet for you. But to display something on the secondary list, you have to write a WRITE statement...The code as below :-
TABLES MARA.
DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS 1,
MATNR like MARA-MATNR,
MEINS LIKE MARA-MEINS,
END OF itab.
SELECT MATNR MEINS FROM MARA INTO TABLE itab.
sort itab by MATNR.
LOOP AT itab.
WRITE:/ itab-MATNR.
HIDE itab-MATNR.
ENDLOOP.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
IF sy-lsind = 1.
CLEAR itab-MATNR.
write : sy-lilli.
ENDIF.
Kindly set to resolved, if this clears you question.

WRITE statement and editable fields
Hi,
i don't think it's possible but my customers wants the following in an existing program.
Data is written to the screen by WRITE statement (list processing), but one of the fields must be open for input and the data filled in must be handled by the program and stored into an internal table.
Is this possible ?
regards
HansFor a rough example, try this program.
Enter some values, and double click on any line to force the transfer to the Itab, and see the results.

Issue with WRITE statement from Internal Table
Hi All,
I have written the below code in a infoset query, the syntax check is ok & when i run the query in debugging mode, i find the internal table being filled with the values & the write statement outputing the values as well.
But the problem is when i execute the query the output does not show all the lines, instead just displays the last record . What could be the mistake?
Is it because i have defined Y_EBELN, Y_EBELP & Y_OPENQTY as nodes in the Extras Tab of the infoset & have chosen this for display in my query? How to display the output from my internal table in my query output?
Hope my problem is clear, await clarification.
Vivek

Try it like this.
Data: Begin of itab,
lifnr type lfa1-lifnr,
name1 type lfa1-name1,
land1 type lfa1-land1,
End of itab,
it_lfa1 like table of itab with header line,
lifnr like lfa1-lifnr,
name1 like lfa1-name1,
land1 like lfa1-land1.
select lifnr name1 land1 into (lifnr, name1, land1)
from lfa1.
it_lfa1-lifnr = lifnr.
it_lfa1-name1 = name1.
it_lfa1-land1 = land1.
append it_lfa1.
endselect.
loop at it_lfa1.
write:/ it_lfa1-lifnr, it_lfa1-name1, it_lfa1-land1.
endloop.
Note:
In place of the above select you insert your join select statement. It is working for me.
You have declared your internal table wrongly. In the internal table instead of TYPE use LIKE, it will work.
Hope this will work for you.
Thanks & Regards

How to show a data in Higher fonts with write statement
Hi.
how to show a data in Higher fonts with write statement
I want to show a statement in large fonts with write statement. How can I do that.
write : 'Company Address'.
Regards
MaveMave,
I would precribe you to use the FORMAT options available with the WRITE Statement.
Because this allows us to differentitate between the HEADIngs and the LINEs in the report.
Here u go dear:

ABAP "WRITE" Statements for Debugging
Just curious to know if one can use ABAP write statements in Update Rules for debugging and auditing, and where the results are actually written to, and if they're accessible via the AWB.
Thank you.Jerry you can write to the monitor from within the update rules.
The debug message you were going to write out instead go ahead and append your message to the monitor structure.
FORM compute_data_field
TABLES <b>MONITOR</b> STRUCTURE RSMONITOR
USING COMM_STRUCTURE LIKE /BIC/CS8ZTESTODS
RECORD_NO LIKE SY-TABIX
RECORD_ALL LIKE SY-TABIX
SOURCE_SYSTEM LIKE RSUPDSIMULH-LOGSYS
CHANGING RESULT LIKE /BIC/VZTESTCUBT-INVCD_QTY
RETURNCODE LIKE SY-SUBRC
ABORT LIKE SY-SUBRC.
You will then be able to view any messages you have added to the monitor in the monitor.
Hope this helps.

Doubt in write statement at the time of using Unicode
Hi ,
here we are working in unicode ,we are facing one problem in write statement
whenever we activate the code we are getting the problem like ,"Literals that take up more than one line not permitted", but this report is working good in 4.7 but while executing in ecc6.0 ,we are facing the problem like this ,so how to solve this please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
sai krishna. It is a warning message & can be ignored.. but if you want to avoid the synatx error, you have to concateante the string ie..
old code:
data w_str type string.
w_str = 'abdcdcsdcsdcsdcdcdc
dscsdcsdcsdcsd'.
write: / w_str.
new code.
data w_str type string.
concatenate 'abdcdcsdcsdcsdcdcdc'
' dscsdcsdcsdcsd' into w_trs.
write:/ w_str.

How to display output without fieldnames in write statements
hi,
can any one tell how to get output with all fields values of a table without writing fieldnames in write statement.
giv proper code for this task.Thaks in advance.hiii
if you want to write just values then you can use write statement only ..no need to do anything else.simply write as follows
LOOP AT t_customer INTO fs_customer.
WRITE:/ fs_customer-customer_no,
fs_customer-customer_name,
fs_customer-customer_amount.
ENDLOOP
reward if useful
thx

Print with write statements from webynpro does not trigger top-of-page
Print launched from webdynpro application via application server created with write statements does not trigger top-of-page event. When print is done from sapgui it works ok. The idea is to reuse backend print which was created for sapgui with abap list made application log in webdynpro application.
Hi,
here a short extract like i do it:

CLASS LCL_EVENT_HANDLER IMPLEMENTATION .
METHOD HANDLE_PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE.
PERFORM PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE.
ENDMETHOD.
ENDCLASS.
CREATE OBJECT GR_EVENT_HANDLER.
SET HANDLER
GR_EVENT_HANDLER->HANDLE_PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE FOR GR_ALVGRID_LEFT.
CALL METHOD GR_ALVGRID_LEFT->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY
FORM PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE.

WRITE: / 'Report: ', SY-REPID,
AT LINSZ 'Datum:', SY-DATUM.
WRITE: / 'Benutzer: ', SY-UNAME,
AT LINSZ 'Zeit: ', SY-UZEIT.
ENDFORM.
hope it helps.

What is the 'src' folder really meant for ?
