Invoice Accounting doc related IDOC number

Hi Gurus,
Now that I'd like to know what's the idoc number for particular accounting document, I know I can get the idoc number one by one by simplely checking the [Relationship] button in FB03 on the topleft of the window.
But now, I have about 4000 accounting documents, I need to retrieve idoc for them all.
Do you know is there any table or program to trigger the idoc infomation for certain accounting document as a whole?
Your answer is really appreciated!
regards,
Maximum

Hi,
Use T-Code WE09 (Idoc Search for business data)
Give parameters same like you give in we02 for idoc search, but you will have a tab in the bottom - Criteria for search in data records - give the segment, field names: and the value. May be you find out the segment and field name for idoc for the accounting document, and then in value-give the accounting document number, or do an open search without giving an accounting document, and export the idoc result and then cross map with required accounting documents.
Thanks

  • Table for Invoice accounting doc

I have got the invoice number posted in MIRO,i need to get the accounting document number generated for this invoice number.
Can any one please let me know th etable where i could give the  the invoice number posted in MIRO and get accounting doc generataed for it.I need to pass invoice number posted in MIRO and get the accounting doc.

    Hi,
    Table BKPF will help you...
    BELNR = Accounting document number
AWKEY = Object Key which is nothing but Material Doc no + Fiscal year
    From SE16, select table BKPF
In the field AWKEY (Object Key), give the material doc number+fiscal year ( for example, 50000000002009)
    Execute.
You will get the corresponding accounting doc number

  • Consolidated entries in Invoice Accounting Doc

    Hi gurus!
    Please throw some light.
If my invoice is carrying 100 line items, how am I able to consolidate my accounting doc’s entries in 1 G/L account such that instead of having....
                    DR          Accts Receivable              $1000
                    CR           Sales                              $20
                    CR           Sales                              $25
                    CR           Sales                              $15
                    CR           Sales                              $40
.... I wanted to make it

                    Cr            Sales                           $1000

Thanks for your answers. But im only referring to one invoice.
My invoice will have several line items and once it generates an accounting document it will post SALES entries for each material line item.

How possble to make it summarized:

  • IDOC number related to the delivery

    Hi All,
I have issue regarding finding out IDOC related to a delivery.
When the output is processed for a delivery, idoc gets created. Now this idoc number gets stored in the EDIDC table. In delivery one can get the related idoc number by checking the processing logs for the output type.
Is there any specific FM which can give me the idoc number of the latest processed output type for that delivery. I have delivery number and output type.
    Thanking in advance.
    Regards,
    Shahu

    Hi..
I think need to add further to my question.
I have an interface progra in which I am sending IDOC details related to the delivery.
Now in this interface program, I have delivery no and the processed output type. Using this how can get the IDOC no. I cannot go to EDIDC to get the idoc no as it will be performance intensive or to any transaction. I need to code here to somehow get the idoc number using this delivery and output type.
I am trying the following approach but could not implement it so far.
In delivery is I go to header>output>check the processed output type -->processing log --> the idoc number  will be present in this log.
I am trying to code in the interface program to read this idoc number present in processing log.
Is there any way I can achive this.

  • Relation between Billing  line Item and Accounting doc entries

    Hi all
when r line items in Accounting doc gets generated for a billing doc.
for ex. if there exists a Billing Doc with 2 lines
is there any relation to the item in the Billing Doc
to the Accounting doc line items.
    thanks

    Hi,
In some situation it is possible that there is a link but in the most situation you use summarization to minalize the number of line items created by invoice (like one line for VAT, general discounts). The total ammount from the customer is the same as on the billing document.
When you want to have details by line you can found them in CO-PA.

  • Unable to generate accounting docs for invoice.

    hi all,
I have a delivery related  billing invoice created in May 2010 that we're attempting to cancel.  We created a MIRO invoice against a sales generated PO tied to the Sales order for the invoice.
Subsequently, in August, we determined that we needed to cancel the MIRO invoice, and discovered it's necessary to reverse the sales order Invoice first (subsequent docs.)
In attempting to cancel the SD billing document, we received several error messages that prevented the creation of the invoice.  We were eventually able to create the invoice by changing the billing date to the current date (from the defaulted may date) and things got interesting.
We created a SD cancellation invoice in Aug  but were not able to generate accounting docs
I thought that if we updated the billing date to this month we would be able to process.   So updating the billing date to 09-13-2010 (today) I receive this error
System error in the FI interface
If we modify to any date before September, we receive the following error message, which we expect, since we've closed prior period.
Posting period MMM YYYY is not open  (billing dates attempted - 07-31-2010, 08-05-2010, 8-31-2010)
If i process using a september date, the changd date is not retained.  only non september dates (also attempted 10-1-2010) are retained.  This leads me to believe that there's an issue that's outside of the billing date causing the problem.
Can someone provide some input on how to properly address this invoice and allow it to generate accounting documents?

You could be encounrtering related FI errors. Release your billing document in VFX3 and refer to the details in the error logs.

  • Finding out Idoc number of the Invoice List

    Hi!
how to find out Idoc numberr if I have number of Invoice List?
For example, I have number of Invoice List for checking it in tcode VF22, but how to get Idoc number of the Invoice List in order to check it in WE02?
    Will reward,
    Mindaugas

    Hi,
Use NAST with the invoice to get the latest record for that output type..
use the table CMFP to get the IDOC number..The combination is
    NAST-CMFPNR = CMFP-NR..
Then in the column CMFP-MSGV1 you can find the idoc number

  • Link from Accounting Doc Number to PO

    Hi,
In FBL3n certain doc types PO number is not updating.Using assignmnets i want to update the field for these kind of doc no.
My doubt is from FI doc number how can i link it to the PO number.
Eg:i have an FI doc number say 51000000 which has two line items and corrponding 3 tax line items each .(ie 9 lines for the same in FBL3N).How can i link that my tax line items corrspond to which line item.
Hope my question is clear. Please suggest.

    Hello,
Generally the FI doc created from an PO Invoice have:
    BKPF-AWTYP = 'RMRP'.
You can goto RSEG from BKPF using:
    RSEG-BELNR = BKPF-AWKEY+0(10)
    RSEG-GJHAR = BKPF-AWKEY+10(4)
In RSEG, you have the PO details in RSEG-EBELN & RSEG-EBELP.

  • Invoice & Accounting Document Number

    Dear Experts,
We are facing number range problem. When we are saveing an invoice then Invoice number and accounting document number showing different. It should come same number. Can you pls advice why this is happening and how I can resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance for your kind support.
    Best Regards.
    Ripon Kumar Paul

    Dear Ripon,
Please check the below which will help you achieve same document number:
SAP gives you customizing options to make both document numbers the same. The solution lies in the number range assignment of the MM and FI document. You need to configure the MM document number assignment as internal and external for the FI documents. (FI documents are set up with external-assigned numbering, while the MM document has internal, or system-generated, numbering.) In this case, the MM document number is passed on to the FI document, which means that the number of the FI document is identical to the MM document.
Because the document number assignment in MM is not company code-specific, in contrast to the FI document, you need to take the following points into consideration before using external document number assignments for FI documents. They have the following effects on your system:
Continuous number assignments for FI documents are not guaranteed, especially if you have more than one company code.
The document number ranges in MM and FI have to be the same for all company codes.
In Release 4.6C, you need to use internal number assignments for revaluation documents, invoice reduction documents, Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) postings, or reversal documents. There are no restrictions as of SAP Enterprise 4.70.
Use a different number range assignment for FI invoice posting (FB60), because FI invoice postings usually use internal number range assignments and the postings originate in FI, not MM.
If you use document parking and the number range intervals are fiscal year-dependent, you cannot change the posting date of the document if the fiscal year is different to that determined for the previous posting date. In this case you have to delete the document and re-enter it. There are no restrictions for fiscal year-independent number ranges.
What do you do if you have already posted thousands of invoices in your system and the numbers are already different? In this case, you need to find unused number range intervals in MM and FI. Since most companies do not change the SAP standard delivered number ranges during the original implementation, number range interval 52 is usually available in MM and FI.
Now let's look at the detailed customizing steps. With the following customizing steps, you can align the MM and FI document numbers going forward only. No fix is available for invoices already posted in your system, since SAP does not allow the change of document numbers.
Step 1. Maintain FI document number range. Use transaction OMR4 and go to Number range for document types in FI. Select the company code for which you want to create the new number range interval and click on the change interval button. Insert a new document number range by clicking on the insert interval button on top of the screen. In this example, I created number range interval 52 with the document numbers 5200000000 u2013 5299999999. Don't forget to set the external number range check box (Ext).
Step 2. Assign FI number range to FI document types. The second step is to assign the number range created in step 1 to the FI document type for invoices. Again use transaction OMR4 and go to Document type. Double-click on the document type, which you are using for LIV invoices. In my example, I used the SAP standard document type RE. In the number range field, assign the new number range interval 52.
    Thanks!!!

  • How to find out SD billing doc # using accounting doc number ?

    Hi Experts,
Using accounting doc tables such as BKPF , BSEG and BSID , I need to find out respective SD billing doc no when I have accounting doc number.
The issue is I cannot use either 'reference number' or assignment number' because the same numbers are not flowing to accounting doc from SD ( enabled by a enhacement ).
    Regards
    Mahesh.

    Hi,
In BKPF : AWKEY / XBLNR  with these fields we can identify the SD billing document number.
In BSEG table VBELN field is Billing document number
    Or
Goto T.Code FB03 enter the accounting document number, company code and fiscal year and press enter.
select the line and choose details, choose addtional data tab, here we can see the billing document number.
