Invoice need to be printed in different printers

Hi
We have two printers i.e.,  Printer A & B
If invoice copy is one page then print should come form Printer A,
if invoice is more then one page print should come from Printer B
will it be possible with SAP standard.
   Thanks

'Innovation is key', I am an ABAPer and I cannot begin to explain how many things can go wrong with this whole idea. For starters, how do you suggest to count the number of lines? Even with the old-fashioned impact printers that have a fixed number of lines per page it is not an easy task and one would have to make too many assumptions to do that (and assumption is mother of all screw-ups.) With the laser printers that can print fancy forms with non-proportional fonts this task is close to impossible.
Even inside the form where we have a variable that stores the total number of pages, its value is sometimes incorrect - just check the Forms forum.
Yes, many things are possible with ABAP, but if anyone would come to me with such requirement, I would strongly urge them to reconsider. It doesn't seem to be a legal requirement or a "must have". Whatever they save in paper or printer cost (I can't imagine another reason for this) will not justify the cost of development and maintenance. It is not some "set it and forget it" thing. With any slightest change in the form, print program, data, printer configuration, etc. the program might have to be adjusted too.

  • Smartform printing on different printers

    Dear Experts,
We have a PO form which is supposed to be printed on different printers across NA, Europe and Asia locations. The printer types are different with different device types too. While printing on these forms, the border in main window and footer is not visible in some of the printers. We have resolved this problem by doing adjustment in margin in SPAD. But users do not want this solution as this may require to change many printers in SPAD. They use these printers for other SAP document printing too, hence they are reluctant with this idea.
Do we have any standard solution?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the information.
But we have to change the device type for each printer. They are already using these old device types since long.
Even with SAPWIN, we have to change vertical and horizontal shift in SPAD transaction.
Do we have any other solution?

  • Print to different printers by page size

Hi, i have a problem,  i need to print documents that have inside a lot of  different size pages(a4,A3,a1,A2,A0, a4x3 e.t.c.). Is it possible automaticly somehow to redirect a4,A3 pages to one printer and a1,A2,A0, a4x3 e.t.c. to other while printing whole file. I think this function will be useful in next acrobat version.
something like this, dewading A3 to two A4 not needed
    to acrobat team:
Did you thought about function that can make templates to printer like it made in AUTOCAD ? (*.pc3 files). It will be usefull when printer driver is not possible to save alot of page size formats. Autodesk fix this problem by making templates(like virtual printers) through that is possible to print, and in that is possible to save alot of page size formats that don't have original printer driver. It will be great if acrobat could use AUTOCAD *.pc3 templates to print through.

    Hi,
Normally Outlook rules only print via the default printer, selecting the printers is beyond the control of Outlook build-in rules.
If you have a rule written via a script, I suggest you post the question and the script to MSDN forum, in which you can get script specific support:

  • Automatically print to different printers from outlook

I apparently have a unique situation that I can't seem to find any information on. I need to find a way to print emails to any one of the 65 different printers installed on my work computer as soon as they come in. The printer that the email gets printed
to is determined by something specific in the body of the email. I setup a rule that would run a script I created that would change my default printer to the printer I need the emailed printed to and then forward the email to another folder that triggered
another rule to print it. Unfortunately, Outlook 2013 requires my to click on file and print before it actually changes the printer to the one specified in the script.
    Please help!
    Thanks!

  • Invoice needs to be printed in cyrillic language along with english language

    Hi All,
We have been printing invoice only in english lanuage for Kazakhstan ,now they need it printed in cyrillic language also.that is they will have two invoices one in english and anothr one in cyrillic.
Can you please guide me through the configuration steps
1.Do i need to create a language specific scripts for this ?
2.Which all config need to be done from SD side ?
    Thanks
    Manaf

    Hi Manaf,
If you want to have multi language invoice layouts then you have to upload the master data like sales org details, customer details in both the languages ( English & Cyrillic languages)
    1) You also need to get the Cyrillic language details from your user for hard-coding the details in the invoice layout.Ex- INVOICE, CREDIT MEMO, DEBIT MEMO etc.
See below table shows for French language
    Name in English
    Name in French language
    Invoice
    Facture
    Date
    date
    Due Date
    redevable le
    Account
    compte
    Terms
    terme
    Bill To
    facturé à
    Period
    periode
    Desciption
    description
    2) After getting the details in Cyrillic language and we have to work with  technical consultant and give the logic of fetching the data from different tables.
    3) Now, in billing document header output if you input language key as English(EN) then system will pick the English invoice layout or if it is CY then Cyrillic layout will be picked accordingly.

  • Printing to different printers and paper sizes

    I have Lion 10.7.4
I have Parralels 7 and run AutoCAD in Parrallels
I have a HP Deskject 9800 (USB connected) and an HP Laser Jet Pro CM1415fmw color MFP (wifi connected) all accessable from my MAcBookPro
Printing is a hassle from Autocad with my MAC OS. In WinXP, (prior to switching to MAC) I could assign a paper size to each printer in printer set up. Then when printing from AutoCAD I would just select the print I wanted for the paper size and done..... perfect!
However, in Mac with Parrallels AutoCAD does not really talk correctly through to the printers on the Mac side. So I have to go into Lion printer settings and change the paper size all the time between tabloid and US letter. I always forget and waste a lot of paper.
Looking for a way to set a Lion OS printer to a specific paper size and have it maintain that paper size while a different printer has a differenet paper size, but this doesn't seem possible.
Every time I change the paper size in the Lion OS for one printer it changes it for all printers.
Can anyone help me with this?

That is not currently possible.  See a similar discussion here.  You may also want to give Apple feedback if you do not find a convenient work around.  You can submit feedback at here.

  • How to read tags from pdf to print in different printers (PCL or PS)

Hello from Spain.. I would apreciate some help who to read tags from pdf to discriminate PDF Production tag for send print PDF to printer job using driver PCL or PS. I get trubles when print PDFs files made by PDFcreator (Ghostscript, intermediate PDF from PS) in PCL job printer. I need to eval tags from PDF for send command line os javascript inside Adobe Acrobat to print in the correct job printer: PCL or PS...
    Thanks.

As noted you cannot access the "Tag" of a PDF but you can access the meta data of a PDF and one of the items recorded in the meta data is the "producer". This meta data tag is supposed contain the name of the program that produced the PDF. One can access this through the "info" property or the "metadata" property of the doc object.
    var cProducer = this.info.Producer; // get the producer application for this PDF;
    console.show();
    console.clear();
    console.println("This PDF was created by " + cProducer);
Be aware that the user can easily modify the Producer information with Acrobat, JavaScript, or other application after the PDF has been created.

  • Pinting Color Logos on Different printers

    Hello Smartform Guru's
We have a Color logo and this needs to be printed on different printers company wide. We checked with test Printer (Lexmark) and looks good. When printed on HP Printers, Colors with light shades is lost.
Any body know how to handle this?
Or do we have to use B/W Logos only?
    Regards
    Prasad

This is due to the differenct printer drivers.  The correct drivers must be configured in the system for the output device.  There is nothing that you can do in the ABAP and/or the form to fix this.   Its all about the drivers that you are using for the output device.

  • Print the report to different Printers

    Hi,
We are using Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2.
We've defined a check printing report , which prints the output to a printer directly.
We've mentioned this printer in the Concurrent Program definition.
Its printing the output to a pre printed stationary.
Now we need to print output to different printers based on the responsibility.
Can anyone tell me the best way to achieve it.
    Regards,
    Abi

Currently the report is working like that. In the he Concurrent program definition We've option to set only one printerRemove the printer name from the Concurrent Program Definition Window
Currently the report is working like that. In the he Concurrent program definition We've option to set only one printer. We need the check printing report to be printed to different printers based on the Set of Books or user. In this case, the following should be helpful:
    - Click on View > Requests
    - Click on "Submit New Request"
    - Enter the Concurrent Program Name
    - Select the Printer from the Printer LOV (under Upon Completion block)

  • Printing Multiple Reports in a Single Request Set to Different Printers

We are running on 11.5.10 and have three reports in a single request set.
Two of the reports are standard laserjet compatible reports and we would like these sent to whatever printer is specificed in the request set when it is executed. The third report is a shipping label report and we require that this report always print to a specific (tractor feed) printer while using a partiuclar style we have defined for this printer.
When we set the label report in its concurrent defininition screen to print only at the label printer and the request set to print to a nearby laserjet the request fails on the first job (one that should be sent to the laserjet) with an error indicating that the style defined for the label printer (ie. "RAW") does not exist on the laserjet printer (which it does not, but it does not need to be).
Is it even possible to have two reports in a single request set print to different printers?
    Thanks,
    Scott

We never bounce the concurrent manager process when we update the concurrent program define. There has never been a need to do so. But, regardless, it bounces twice a week anyway and it has had no effect.
I do not think this is possible without using a 3rd party/custom solution (ex. Optio).
The requirement is pretty simple really: We have a report that MUST ABSOLUTLEY ALWAYS_ print only to a single, particular printer. And, if it is in a request set that contains other reports and it is defined to print to a different printer they all should go to the "correct" printers.
If anyone has a method to do this please post!
    Scott

  • Smartform - Printing differently on different printers

    Hi Guru's,
I've a problem in printing the smartform to 2 different printers.
    1. LOCL - we don't have any problems in printing to the Local Printer.
2.HP Printer (HIITPRT21) - when we print the document using this printer , Header is printing in one page and the Remaining contents (Main Window) is printing in different pages.
I don't think there is a problem with the smartform, because it should print the same way on LOCL as HP Printer Does.
Could you please let me know where the problem is and how to resolve it???

    Thanks,

Just read that the default memory storage on FF is set to 5 mbs. You can up that by clicking on tools, advanced and overriding the default and set it to 50 mbs (if you use lots of tabs) or 10 mbs (if you use just a few).
I open a blank tab and clear the cache periodically, while I am working. I can have several tabs open and watch videos on Youtube, by doing this. Have you cleared your cache?
Since I have an older computer, I've also used CCleaner for years. I use it often, but always before signing off. You can get it free...search for CCleaner, download from Pirifoam free. I didn't change any of the settings and it clears crap left behind from uninstalling programs, clears all browsers at once of: cookies, history, passwords, etc. I love it!
I had freezing, before using the "open blank tab, clear the cache" thing. Now I have no problems. Plus, as I said...you can change the default memory usage for FF and that should help too.
Hope this helps! Good luck! :)

  • Pdf printing not same in different printers

    Hi,
We have a pdf file which different departments would be printing on different printer but on a pre-perforated sheet. But while testing we noticed that the pdf is not being printed same in all the printers. Can we force this somehow? Thanks for your suggestions.
    Thanks.

Have you looked at the page scaling in the print dialog?
