Invoice number on invoice overlapping with other texts

Dear Friends,
Invoice number on invoice overlapping with other texts
On the top right corner of the second page of the invoice, Invoice number is overlapping with the text 'Invoice/Invoice Number'. The text 'Tax Invoice/Invoice Number' should be above the invoice number.
Where I need to chagne this and how.

Hi,
This can be done in the SMARTFORM/SAPSCRIPT
Check the OUTPUT for the SMARTFORM or SAPSCRIPT in NACE transaction code
goto the Tranaction code SMARTFORMS and Identify the WINDOW of INVOICE NUMBER and if you have access you can increase the window size or check with your developer to increase the size.

The easiest way is to keep Textedit in the Dock and drag the .cue file(s) to the Dock icon.
You can also create an Automator Service:
Open Automator
Select: Service
Select Service receives selected [files or folders] in [Finder]
and:
Then select one or more .cue file, right click (or Control-click) on the selection to display the contextual menu. Scroll to the bottom of the contextual menu and select Services -> (what you named the Service).

Chapter Titles overlapping with other titles

I've got chapter titles that are running into each other because of their length. Apart from shortening my titles, is there any way to get iDVD to know to "wrap" titles so that they don't overlap with each other?

Nope. And if they do overlap, it may cause encoding errors. Best to keep them short.
You could reduce the font size or change the font too.

Displaying Var With Other Text

Is it possible to display a users entered name throughout
paragraphs of writing and make the paragraphs look natural no
matter how short or long the name is?
Maybe the summary was enough to make you figure it out but
I'll explain. I have a paragraph which I would like to begin with
my users name. Later on in the flash I would like to be able to
have the users name appear in different parts of paragraphs.
At the moment I have the dynamic text box at the start of a
static text box. The problem is when a users name is very short it
leaves spaces to the left as my text is position to the right.
This works OK for starting the paragraph but not ideal when I
want to use the name in the centre of para as it will leave large
spaces either side of the players entered name unless the name is
long enough to fill the space.
Is there away to make the whole paragraph dynamic with a
variable included among it?

1. Have your textfield in frame1 of layer 1. In the property
panel make sure it says 'Dynamic Text' and immediately below that
name it
Q1 (it could be called message or whatever but let's leave
it at Q1 for now to keep consistent with earlier posts).If you see
a greyed out <Instance Name> then that's where you need to
put the Q1
2. Create layer 2 if you don't already have one. Click on
frame 1 of layer two. Open up the actionscript window (f9 in
windows) and paste these 2 lines below in the actionscript window:
playername ="ZypheR2007";
Q1.text = playername+", I know your name."
3. In windows press Ctrl-enter or goto Control - Test Movie
in the menu

Pdf's created in Indesign having problem in "Black" color when it overlap with other color.

Please respond to this as soon as possible since this is now in printing stage we need to send it immediately.
Adobe disabled attachment, I just made a screenshot and sending you the image as attachment for your reference.
The design has "Black" overlapping on "Blue" giving transparent on Blue color, see the pdf for reference.
Please not that there is no transparency in "Black" or any other color used in that page.
This is related to "preserve overprint" problem, when I switch off the preserve overprint in "distiller" setting I am getting the correct result but "Black" become "Knockout" instead of "overprint".
Is there is any way to solve this problem.
Please advice.

When you Knockout the colour it should cut a hole in the shapes below it -
Start by creating a New Black Swatch
Then Apply that swatch to your black frame
Below I have turned off the Black Separation, and you can see that it has knocked a hole right through the items below - I've also shown you the Attributes Panel - you can see in the Spearations panel to that the black is still 100%
Below is what happens when you have Black set to Overprint
YOu can clearly see that the values are added up - You now have a 284% ink coverage here - so anywhere the black goes over the green here the values are added together and that gives you a different shade of black, because the Black is PRINTING OVER the other colours and adding, as ink is transparent, not opaque.
If the black frame goes off into the white it will be 100% for whatever is touching the white, and then 284% when hitting the green here, so you get two distinct shades of black.

Adding an image from the web to the report in the header with other Text

I am attempting to fix a Crystal Report where I have a Logo positioned in the upper left corner of the Report Header. The Report Header also includes 2 text fields. One is fixed data and the other is a date. I have mastered the img src but I cannot get the two text fields to display to the right of the image. They will always push to the line below. I have tried putting them in different sections and underlying the next section, and all other settings that I can think of. What I must have would be similar to this:

I have even tried suppressing all headers and using multiple detail sections to no avail. I am using Crystal Reports 2008

I have found the answer or should I say the cause of my problem. It is that Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have changed the way (or engine) their Outlook (post version 2003) handles html. They now use the "engine" from their 'Word' program which cannot handle most compound formatting. To handle this program, you have to build it all on one level. To solve my Header problem, I was forced to recreate my graphic to include the Header text, place that graphic on the top of the page and build my form below, an entire line at a time. Multiple objects on the same line would look great in Outlook prior to '2007' but may be in any order or grouping in '2007' and after See this explanation...

FormsGraph PJC getting overlapped with other windows

Hello,
We have an application which has a window with 3 graphs (FormsGraph PJCs). If we open any other window on top of the graphs window, the graphs take control of the active window and bleed overtop of the active window. This happens only when the currently opened window is smaller than the graphs windows and if the mouse pointer moves to the partly visible graphs window.
Can anyone help in resolving this?

Nope, 10.6.7 didn't solve the problem. It still happens.
It is, however, related in some way to either Juniper Networks VPN sopftware (Network Connect) or Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection.
This morning when it happened those were the only two things I had open - Safari connected fired off Network Connect and then opened MS Remote Desktop to connect to a remote windows box.
When I closed both, Safari got stuck in the "background only" mode.
I will experiment more...

Is there any way to specify the condition of the COUNTIF function to contain a certain text embedded in the cell with other text?

I know you can set it to count the cells if they contain ONLY what's in the condition, but what if they contain the search term and something else? For example, if I wanted to count the number of cells that said "apple" when each of the cells contains something like "apple, orange, pear" or "pear, banana, apple" how would I do that?

LI's solution will get you there if you are looking to count the string even if it is part of a larger string. You can see that Apple only exists three times as a distinct word, but 4 times as a string or sub-string.
If you are only wanting to count the frequency of the word "Apple", you can do this:
If you are using a Comma-Space between words as in your problem statement, you can substitute the following column B expression:
=IFERROR(FIND(“Apple,", A&”,"), 0)

Got another issue in BI launch pad .
one Webi report migrated from R2 environment to BO 4.1.when open that report in BI launch pad
working perfect but when report was edit in the query level and run the all queries its asking context selection
If i selected all the context and run all the queries then again getting another issue.
Why its asking Query Context in Query prompt level?

Windows taskbar overlaps with bottom of other windows

Hi, On my new MBA I installed windows 7. The taskbar unfortunately overlaps with other windows so I cannot access things like the bottom scroll arrow, or during downloads the open/save buttons.
By auto hiding the taskbar it works, but I prefer to see the taskbar.On my win7 machine the windows do not overlap the taskbar area.

Use G Toolbox => Shell => Taskbar, you can set Taskbar to Auto Hide, Always on top, or both.
Reqire XP.
G Toolbox => Shell =>Hide SysCtrls can return taskbar handle.

Having problems with text, lines overlap each other

Good Afternoon, I am having problems in pages, address book, text Edit. In pages and text edit the lines overlap each other and in address book I cannot read clearly the information of my contact because line also overlap. Does anyone knows how can I arrange this?

My Mother did what you said for the Spam and my number was in there about 100 times. She deleted all them. Deleted me as a contact and then rebooted, then she text me and I text her back and I went right into the Spam again. I told her to tell TMobile this so then can maybe help and remove my number from Spam on their end.\

Excise invoice posted with Zero duty value

Hi,
My client has an STO process where they will generate a proforma Invoice with Excise duties,
Initially when proforma was created excise duties were not reflecting since condition records were not maintained, user was not aware of that and created a excise invoice also with 0 Duty value.
After this condition records were maintained and invoice was updated with excise values. But we are unable to update the excise tables through the same excise invoice no. This transaction is a back dated one for which client has already filed excise returns with SAP Excise number series, Can we pass a JV through FI to adjust the entries or any other solution.

if i go to cancel that cancel invoice in J1IIN
it is not allowing to cancel
If your copy control is in line with standard settings, first of all you cannot post the goods issue without any quantity and also generation of billing is not possible.
Coming to your second issue, please try in J1IH instead of J1IIN.

Dear Experts,
Our business requirement is to book the invoice with reference to the sales order without posting delivery and PGI. Provide me the step by step process to complete this configuration.
Is that suggestible to change the existing document type which the business is using by creating delivery PGI and Invoice to the document type where invoice booking with reference to sales order or I have to go with the new document type only.

Hi,
You need to use FM READ_TEXT.
First you have to determine what text Object/ID/Language you want to read (you can have N text objects for an invoice header).
The easiest way to do this is to have an example document with the text you want to read.
For example in VF03.
1-Goto->Header->Header Texts.
2-Click on the text you want to read
3-Double click on the text (Right side box) This will take you
4-Goto->Header
This will give you the data you need to use in the READ_TEXT F.M.
