Invoice Plan on ERP extended classic PO?

We are using ECS.  The ERP PO is display only as standard.  Can I still add an invoicing plan in the ERP system to this display only purchase order?

Hi Paul
Please refer to these details regarding Invoice Plans in SAP
1) Maintain settings in Customizing for purchasing (for example, invoicing plan type, date categories, date descriptions, and date sequence proposals). The related path is IMG ---> Material Management ---> Purchasing ---> Purchase Order ---> Invoicing Plan ......
2) The Purchasing document with FO Document Type (Framework Order) must be used. This document type requires that a validity period be entered in the PO header. This specification is adopted in the invoicing plan, provided that this has been predefined in Customizing for the relevant invoicing plan type.
3) The purchase order item must have an account assignment and Logistics Invoice Verification must be used.
4) The vendor must have agreed to use the automatic invoice creation facility (since we will use automatic settlement to create the invoice). In this case, the 'AutoEvalGRSetmtDel.' indicator must be flagged in the vendor master record.
5) Once Purchase Order is created with order type FO, ensure that the indicators for GR/IR control have been set correctly on the item detail screen.
6) The Goods Receipt indicator may only be set in combination with the Goods Receipt Non-Valuated indicator. The Invoice indicator must be set.
7) For the automatic creation of invoices, the ERS (Evaluated Receipt Settlement) indicator must be also set. A further prerequisite for automatic settlement is that a tax code must be entered in the purchase order.

  • Invoicing Plan functionality in Extended Classic scenario

    Hi,
For PO's are created in SRM-Extended Classic scenario, kindly let me know on how to maitain Invoicing plans.
    Thanks,
    KB

    Hi. You could use ERS.
Let's say you wanted an invoice plan to pay every month for 12 months, you could create a cart on an ERS vendor and order quantity 12, unit months.
Then every month the user could do a goods receipt for 1 month.
That would trigger an ERS invoice, just like an invoice plan would.
The only problem with this is that you are relying on the user to do the goods receipt.

  • Extended Classic and Invoicing Plans

    Hi All,
We want to use the extended classic scenario for SRM but need to use invoice plan functionality in ECC to make scheduled payments.
Does anyone have an idea has to how we can accomadte this?
I've thought of adding a custom field which can indicate an invoice plan is needed and then changing the scenario to classic for that particular order but the user would then require access to ECC to amend the PO.
Is there anyway of adding the invoice plan data in SRM and then passing it to ECC?
    Cheers
    Chris

Hi. Do you want to use periodic or partial invoice plans?
If it was periodic you could put custom fields in the cart for start and end date and period type (monthly, weekly etc) and hide them when appropriate using the BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI.
Then you could use a BADI or user exit in ECC / R/3 on PO create to read the fields from SRM and poulate automatically.
Instead of a new field to indicate that it is an invoice plan why not configure a new account assignment category in SRM to indicate that it needs an invoice plan? Just copy what you use now but call it "Invoice plan". Probably a bit easier than a custom field for this, especially if you are using custom fields for the actual invoice plan info. A custom field would work fins too though.
If you want to use partial invoice plans you would probably have to write a whole new transaction in SRM to allow you to pick up a list of POs from the backend and then have a new screen where you specify the partial dates and values.
When you save in the nwe transaction it could call a function in R/3 that populates the partial dates.

  • Extended classic scenario and printout in ERP

    Hi,
we want to use extended classic scenario but the printout of the PO should happen in the backend system. PO is already created in the ERP system but I can't change it (as designed). How is it possible to create the printout from the backend?
    Thanks
    Hubert

    Hi Hubert
This consulting note is for triggering Output of PO from ECC instead of SRM. Printing can happen from ECC if you can switch off PO Output form SRM and start triggering the same from ECC as per consulting note.
Try working with this FM In SRM BBP_OUTPUT_PO_PRINT_REMOTE for printing the PO, if PO Output is still required to be triggered from SRM.

  • SRM Fixed Text Mapped to ERP Purchase Order for Extended Classic

We are switching from Classic to Extended Classic.
We currently have "Contract Riders" which are fixed text that the users can select and the header level on the ERP purchase order.
We need to add this functionality to the SRM purchase order.  Unfortunatly the fix text on the SRM purchase order is only 30 in length.  Can we map the fixed text codes from the SRM purchase order to the ERP purchase order so that the full text on the ERP side is selected?
Or is there a way to allow more than 30 characters for the fixed text in the SRM purchase order?

  • Manually blocking SRM Extended Classic PO invoices

    Hi All,
I understand that in tcode MRBR, when we select the radio button:  Manual Payment Block, we can see those invoices blocked at the Header Level.  (tcode MIR4, Payment tab, Pmnt Block field)
It seems that only those invoices blocked at the time of invoice data entry (MIRO) are displayed.  But many times, we need to manually block the invoice AFTER it has already been entered and those are not displaying in MRBR.
We are using SRM Extended Classic Config (if that matters) and are on ECC 6.0 SP10.  To block the invoice after the invoice has already been posted, we need to use tcode FBL1N to find the coordinating FI doc # and block it in that transaction code.  When we do that, it does show the block on the coordinating MM invoice number when viewing in MIR4, but it doesn't show in MRBR.  In other words, table BSEG shows the block, but table rbkp_blocked does not.
Is there another way to manually block at the header level AFTER the invoice has been entered??  (so that it shows on the MRBR report).  Or is this a possible error with SAP's FI/MM integration?
I thought I'd post my question here first before submitting an OSS message.
I'd appreciate any guidance on this,
    Cindy

Decided to just create custom reports to view blocked invoices either in FI or MM.

  • SRM EXTENDED CLASSIC - INVOICE QTY in Statistics Section of Item

    SRM Gurus,
i require to select the Invoiced quantity of a PO , which is seen on the Statistic section of the item details of a Process Purchase Order SRM Screen. The Invoices are created in ECC and not in SRM . (Extended Classic Scenario)
Can any one let me know which table has this info or how i can get this in SRM System ?
WIll definitely assign points for answers. thank you.

    Dear Prasad,
To work on Extended Classic Scenario, you just have to maintain the following configuration in SPRO:
    >SAP Supplier Relationship Management
    >SRM Server
      >Cross-Application Basic Settings
       >Activate Extended Classic Scenario
Check the flag "Extended Classic Scenario Active".
You dont have to manipulate "BE_LOG_SYSTEM" field to choose your scenario.

  • Extended classic senario with central invoice function

Could we use central invoice function in Extended classic senario, anybody could give us some advice?

Hi. Central invoice lets you enter an invoice against any PO on the system, and normal invoice (desktop user) only allows you to enter an invoice against your own POs.
Both should work in extended classic, I have never heard anything different.

  • Classic scenario & Extended classic scenario

    Hi Experts ,
I am new to SRM ,  Is it possible to combine both classic scenario & Extended classic scenario . if it possible , then how to achieve this .
    Regards
    Vel.

    Hi Vel
I suggest that instead of checking the possibility of implementing any combined scenario's like how you have asked ( Classic+Extended classic scenario).
You need to map the Business requirement and how the Business teams wanted to handle the PO ,GR etc and accordingly you have to plan for implementation scenario. You can' customise the standard SRM delivered options for these scenario . I t is advisable to either go for Classic or Extended classic.   But combination of Classic & stand alone scenario is possible.
for your ready reference i have given below capabilities of all scenarios, which you may already know..
    Key implementation scenarios
    u2022     Classic
o     Implement EBP and one or more ERP system . All shopping carts refer to MM process in your ERP backend, your   ERP is the leading system. GR (Confirmations and invoices can be entered in Enterprise Buyer or ERP back end system
    u2022     Extended classic
o     Purchase order is created locally within EBP system , if the data in the shopping cart is insufficient to generate a complete purchase order. The data is supplemented manually within the enterprise buyer system EB is the leading system , GR,IV can be done in both EBP and ERP system.
    u2022     Decoupled
o     Combination of  classic and standalone scenario ,some items are locally handled, some items are transferred to the ERP back end system
o     We are able to send PO from both the system.
    u2022     Standalone
o     Your SC items create local procurement only, this means all the follow on doc like GR,IV will be done at EB system only.
o     Only commitment & invoice posting will be done at ERP backend
You can get the final Business requirement and plan.

  • Impacts for switching from Extended Classic to Classic in production

    Hi,
Has anyone involved project that customer has switched from Extended Classic to Classic in production system?
SRM 4.0 is live in Extended Classic now.
Customer is going to upgrade and switch their production system to SRM 7.0 Classic.
    Main process is
PS -> MM PR -> SRM Sourcing -> SRM PO (Extended) -> SUS PO -> SUS PO Response
GR, Service Entry and Invoice are handled in ERP
I see an issue if we switch SRM-SUS to MM-SUS, SUS PO is created before switch and PO Response is created after switch.
Do you have any lessens and learned topics for switching Extended Classic to Classic? Which documents have to be take care?

please send solutions immediatly to my id <i>[email protected]</i>
    warm regards
    rakhi

Let me see if I can satisfy you :
    - The major difference between classic and Ex. classic is the system where the leading PO is created. In classic it's r/3 while in ECS it's SRM.
The usage depends on the customer requirement and convinience.
    - R/3 ent structure and SRM org are mutually exclusive. But you take ref of r/3 ent structure in SRM org structure at many points.
    - SCM is collabration of many SAP components like APO, ICH. It's basically group of SAP solutions to map the tptal functionality of supply chain.
    - You can control ECS scenario with BADI depending on yr business objects.
    - Follow on documents are same for both PO or contract , GRN/Confirmation, Invoice
    - already tolD BBPGETVD for downloading vendors from R/3 and BBPUPVD for synchronisation
    - CCM is component for catalog can work in both classic or ECS
SUS is component for suppliers can work in both classic or ECS
sourcing is functionality for purchasers can work in both classic or ECS
SSP is business scenario for self service can work in both classic or ECS
PDP is BS for plan driven procurement can work in both classic or ECS
service procurement is for service and work in same way
these components or business scenarios are mapped as per customer requirements and hence the leading PO location has flexibility.

  • SRM 7.0 extended classic - attachments to backend

    Hi,
We are in SRM 7.0 and have a requirement to store SRM attachments in the backend ERP.
This is for the extended scenario going through Badi BBP_ECS_PO_OUT.
Has anyone got a solution for moving the attachments to the backend?
    Kind regards,
    Alexander

    Hi,
The purchase order in the Extended Classic Scenario is transferred to the backend system with different Function Modules. The
attachment transfer logic was only implemented in the Classic Scenario.
One reason for this decision was, that the leading Purchase Order in the extended classic scenario is the local one, and in the local purchase order the attachments are available.
At the moment it is not planned to support the attachment transfer in the Extended Classic Scenario. The transfer of attachments to backend PO is developed only for Classic Scenario.
I am sorry that this is not the result that you wanted. This also explains why in the ECS PO transfer BADI BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI does not have the parameters for attachments where as the Classic PO transfer
    BADI does (BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW).
We have some notes related to SC and POR reporting issues when transferring attachments to ECC side, but ther are related to Classic scenario:
1400088: SC attachments transferred to ECC PR are lost on EHP upgrade
1413792  Attachment deleted after changing purchase order
Ihope this information help you to understand this issue,
    Kind Regards,

  • Classic Scenario to Extended Classic Scenario

    Hi friends,
We have a requirement to migrate an existing SRM 5.0 solution from Classic to Extended Classic scenario.
Is there any best practices document available from SAP in this regard? Also what are the things that need to be taken care of in particular? It would be great if some one can share his/her practical experience.
       Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Pradip

    Hello
If it is Plan driven procurement involved, better to go for 'Classic' scenario. Extended classic scenario is best suited for self service procurement of indirect material.(of course both scenario are best for indirect material!)
Now Switching over to Classic ti Extended classic:
    1) Technical settings-->Define product categories for backend
Here source sys is ERP backend and the Target sys is SRM client
    2) Nu. ranges for Local P.Os
    3) In Cross application basic settings,  Activate extended Classing Scenario and Backend pur.grp responsible
    4) In Define Objects in Backend system(Pur.req, Resrv, P.O)
Ensure no entries are there. Since this step is not required for Extended classic
    5) BAdi need to be activated.
Before all these, ensure there is no pending documents/transactions exists. All need to be closed. No open purchase documents!
The best guide for ref. is by Shah Khan.

    HI,
Please activate extended classic  in SRM
SPRO: Cross-Application Basic Settings->Activate Extended Classic Scenario
SPRO: Business Add-Ins->Control Extended Classic Scenario (here you can control if you need PO in SRM or ERP)
