Hi Gurus,
I have query regarding invoice printingu2026.i want set some default values in invoice (billing) Printingu2026.
1. Number of messages: I have to set default value number of messages as 3.
2. Print immediately: Active tick should be there for all invoices by default.

Hi friend,
You can set requirement in the Condition records for OUTPUT Type
Goto transaction VV33 or NACE
In the VV33 give your condition type and maintain the combination and and double click or select F2 and in the commnication method you can fine the Number of messages field.
And Also Print immediately beside.
If you are using NACE , Just click ont eh application area V3 and choose the condition type and then check as above.

Unit price in the Invoice not printing right value

Our customer is using RVAJUS for pricing procedure. We using ctypes, PR00, K007, ZRMS, and shipping cost condition types. No tax calculation.
However in the invoice print outs, the Unit/1000 price is the Net value for item that gets printed. Which is actually (PR00- K007)+ZRMS +SHipping cost values. My question is what configuration setting controls the value for unit/1000 on the invoice. We would want the value from PR00 to be printed on the invoice. In the pricing procedure we have X applied to Gross value, K007 and ZRMS . All of this is are item conditions.
A response will be appreciated

Invoice Forms created with Adobe X - default value for "total" column should be blank

I am new to the forum and just finding my way around. Thank you for any help.
I've created an invoice template in Word, then imported it into Adobe X Pro to turn it into a form. Pretty simple, but one thing is troubling me. I have the usual description, quantity, price each, and total columns. The "total" columns are defaulting with a "0" in them, and I'd prefer they default blank unless an entry is made on that line. I have right-clicked the "total" fields properties and the default values are blank already, but a zero still shows up. I know it can be done because one of my earlier forms defaults to a blank space until I entered something on that line. Then it calculated. How can I make the "total" column blank unless something is entered there?
Secondly, when I save a form and want to go back to make changes, I'm not seeing how to do this. It seems to save as a .pdf, and if I want to modify the form portion I have to start all over from scratch. What am I missing?

I've entered the script, and no change. The "total" columns still show a (zero) 0 even when I have not entered anything in that line.
For example:
Description             Qty     Unit Price     Total
                                                                         0
                                                                         0
                                                                         0
etc... all the day down the form.
I'd like the zeroes not to appear when there is nothing on the Description lines.
Incidentally, when selecting fields to use for calculations for the "total" column, we're supposed to place a check mark in the box of the fields to be calculated - and I can't CLICK in them. I have to use the space bar. Is that how it is supposed to work?

This can be done by an abaper by making changes in the driver program. The Driver program feeds all the data which u have mentioned for printing.
if the driver program is standard. copy to an z type and make modification on printer settings on the driver program code.
this will surely solve the issue.

Hi All
I am going to take output for invoice. I have defined output type INVC by copying ERS in NACE for application type MR. Following parameters i have maintained in different views:
Access Sequence: 0003 Company Code
Access to Conditions : X
Partner Independent Output : X
Default Values:
Dispatch Time :3 Send with application own transaction
Transmission Medium: 1 Print Output
Print Parameter: User
Included the condition in MR0002 procedure
Maintained a condition record at company code level.
In MR90
Either i am getting error:
No messages for initial processing exist
Message no. VN108
Or
If MR90 processes and i am trying for print preview:
Error appearing:
Table RSEG: entry 5105600139 2009 2 does not exist
Message no. M8100
Please suggest.

Use MRM1 transaction and maintain the condition records for the message type INVC. There can be no-retroactive message assignment here, so even after the this set-up the invoice you referred cannot be still processed with MR90. Maintenance condition records ensures that future invoices are automatically assigned with the message type INVC and hence can be processed in MR90

How to make default value in a drop down list

Hi,
I have created a drop down list using Selection-Screen code. I have three values in it. I would like to make one of the option as a default value. How to achieve it?
I am working on module pool program. I have few screens as a part of my program. I have created print button on tool bar of one screen but that print button is appearing on the other screens too. How to avoid it?

How to set default value in matrix column

Hi all,
Does any one know how to set a default value in matrix column ?. I just want , when an event right click and add row. so i set a default value in a column field for example 'Test'. FYI the matrix is in the UDO.

Hi,
You can do it through Actions by defining Conditions. Here i give an example.
Goto the Define Condition in SPRO -->Select Conditions as Order Message or Quatation --> There you see default Action Defination select teh relevant action definition --> then go to Processing Details TAB --> there you find an option for setting in Printer ---> no of copies.

Hi Rajendra ,
Screen control for the vendor is controlled by the Account group you assign to them. So go to IMG> Financial accounting > Account rec. and payables> Master data > Define account group with screen layout. Here you can find and change the the fields status for General , company code and purchasing data.

Category attributes default values updating

I'm developing an application that, upon upload of a file to the specified root folder(through the application), reads some values from a file, creates a folder structure based on those values, and moves the file in the bottom folder. Now, a predefined category should be attached to the file, to enable search by category attributes. My idea is to set the category as required on that bottom folder (or the first), and modify it's attribute default values, so that the file inherits them when moved in it. I have found mshannon's examples in some other thread ( Updating a document with category metadata using updateDocument(): error! ), the first one works only with files, not folders, and the second one doesn't work for me at all, I get an error:

Invoice Printing

Hi all,
My names are Andrew from Kenya. I work at a millk products plant called Sammer Agriculture. Currently we use SAP. At the Invoice department we print invoices fro various customers using SAP. The invoices are forwarded to the Epson dot matrix printer by Using an ETR machine as the default printer in SAP.
We have invoices that come out with the Grid lines (Table form). We would like to print without the grid lines , only words but no tables.
Please can anyone show how i change the printing option in SAP?

You are taking invoice print out through standard t.code(VF03) means they might be configured in NACE transaction , can you please check in NACE for the V3 application.
There they will maintain custom/standard form (Forms also like smart forms/ scripts) so just check those forms.

Default Values For Foreign Trade Header Data

Hello,
I have defined a price condition (ZPFR) to gather the price from the company to the custom office (the customs office through which the goods enter or leave the country).
I want that price condition to be determined in the pricing procedure in foreign trades. The fields in the access sequence are the Plant and the Customs office. In customizing, in the point Default Values For Foreign Trade Header Data, I have defined a line for the Departure country, the Destination Country and the proper values for the Office of exit, Export Custom Office and Office of destination (the same that I have selected in the condition record). But when I create a sale document, this condition does not determine because the Customs office seems not to have any value in the document. Does anybody what I am doing wrong?

You require to do thenecessay configuration for Foreign Trade Data:
IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Basic Data for Foreign Trade --> (Do the necessary configuration here)
In most probability, it will not default, but it is required to be maintained in Invoice (based on configuration)
