Invoice Status Closed when it should be Open

I have a document (AR Invoice) just created but the status is closed. There is no reason to be closed. The balanced due is the same as Total in the document. There is no applied transactions. it was not based in a another document. I have looked in SAP notes but not found any. Any help in these situation ?

Please check Note No. : 1096287 regarding the issue mentioned by you. Check the additional code under the SP_TransactionNotification.
Request you to kindly upgrade the copy of the database to a higher patch level and check whether the issue is still reproduced on the upgraded database by entering a few invoices.

How to prevent a TCP connection being closed when the VI that opened it finishes.

Hello everyone.
I am developing an application based around servers and clients communicating over TCP in LabVIEW 2012.
When the server/client opens a TCP connection ,it launches an asynchronosly running "connection handler", to which it passes the connection reference which then takes over all the communcation. This all works fine.
However - I have a situation where a client's connection handler can be informed of another "new" server. I would like it to open the connection (to see if it is still valid) and then pass this connection reference back to the client's main code to spawn a new connection handler. This prevents me locking up the Client's main code with a long-ish timeout if the "new" server is not actually accepting connections.
The issue is that if the connection handler that opened up the connection to the "new" server is stopped, then it appears to destroy the reference that it opened. This means that the other connection handler that was merrily communcating with the "new" server has its TCP communciations closed (I get an Error code 1 on a write).
I have created an example to demonstrate the issue which should be used as follows:
1. Run server.vi - it will listen for a connection on the port specifed on its BD.
2. Run CH Launcher.vi - it will open a connection to the server and pass the TCP reference to an instance of Connection Handler.vi which it launches.
3. The Connection Handler should send data to the Server
4. Stop the CH Launcher.vi
5. The Connection Handler.vi will error.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

And what are the effects? You are still facing the same problem or closing the connection only when the whole applicaton stops solved your problem?

Hi there, I had a similar problem and was unable to resolve it. I spent about an hour on the phone with a very helpful AppleCare rep who was also completely stuck. It would seem that the only solution is to choose a setting with trial and error while the lid is closed.
My MacBook ended up getting stuck on a closed-lid reoslution that wasn't supported, so I had to do a screen-share with another device to see what the video card was sending to the external display and change it back that way.

Issues with Microsoft Word for mac closing when I try to open old or newly downloaded documents

When I download a document from my professor, or try to open an older document, my word automatically quits. If it's already closed and I try to open a document, it will show the dot at the bottom of the icon that it's loading to open but it quickly disappears and quits itself. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or know what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

Combobox is closing when i try to open.

hello, i'm having a strange problem since i changed sdk 3.2 to sdk 3.5, when i try to open some combobox, they get closed. i dont know why...
only if I maintain the mouse tight and I drag down i can open it.

Have you customized the dropdown or its renderers? If the ComboBox gets a
dataProvider change or a request to update the ComboBox's width/height it
will close again. It will also close if the ComboBox sees a mouseDown that

AR invoice not closed when full amount applied

Can someone confirm if this is a bug or normal system behaviour? Unfortunately, i don't have an environment to test on different patch levels. My current patch level is 2007A SP0 PL47.
This is the scenario:
Create AR Invoice with 2 lines.
Line 1: Inventory item with price X
Line 2: Non-inventory item with zero price
Copy to Credit memo. Delete Line 2.
Now, the amount is fully applied on the invoice and there is no balance due. However, the status of the invoice is 'Open'.
The customer has just upgraded from 2005. They say that in 2005 version, the invoice did close automatically even with line 2 open. Can someone confirm if this is a bug or normal system behaviour in 2007A?
The reason they don't want to copy line 2 to the invoice is because it is created by custom add-on and shouldn't appear on the credit memo.

This is a BUG in 2007 that SAP knows about and SAP must apply the fix to your situation. We had two invoices exactly as you described and it took intervention by SAP to get them closed. This was some time ago and I cannot remember exactly what they did...
So, please contact your partner or submit a ticket...then set up some time with them when no one will be on the system...

Idvd keeps unexpectedly closing when i try to open it

can anyone help me? everytime I try to open Idvd it just says that it has quit unexpectedly

Try trashing iDVD's preference file (plist). With iDVD closed,
Find the file via this pathway: Home folder(YourUserName)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.idvd.plist
Drag this plist file to the trash. Don't worry iDVD will create a new fresh one when you relaunch it
Reopen iDVD
See if it works.
If not, post back for more help.

Photoshop CS5 keeps closing when I try to open a photo

Ok...Photoshop launches just fine but as soon as I try to open a photo I get the message:
"Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Anyone else expereinced this?

More or less standard advice in this kind of case is:
1. Your display driver may be buggy.
Try disabling OpenGL drawing by choosing Edit - Preferences - Performance and unchecking [ ] Enable OpenGL Drawing. Restart Photoshop.
If this helps, then chances are good that you need to update your display driver. Go to the web site of the maker of your display adapter (video card) and download and update their latest. EXCEPTION: If you have an ATI Radeon card, avoid ATI Catalyst 11.3 and 11.4 - use 11.2 instead.
2. You may have a corrupted font on your system.
If you have installed any fonts since the last time Photoshop worked, this is especially likely. The workaround for this is to move all non-original Windows fonts to another folder temporarily and see if the problem goes way.
3. Your preferences may have gotten corrupted.
Photoshop maintains a lot of preferences in files, and if any kind of system fault has resulted in nonsense values being written in those files, it may be driving Photoshop batty. The preferences can be returned to defaults by pressing and holding Control - Shift - Alt when first starting Photoshop from its menu or shortcut. If you're quick enough it will prompt you to delete your preferences.
4. Your document may be pointing to a non-existent printer or something's wrong with your default printer setup.
I've seen several folks have their problems here solved by tweaking the printer setup, though I don't recall exactly what any of them did.

Apps closing when I try to open them?

I just got my iPod touch 4th generation the other day and I have a habit of turning it off when I'm not using it (from owning previous versions of iPods) and when I turn it on and try to launch the few apps I downloaded (Pandora Radio [free], SoundHound [free], Y! Messenger [free], Nook [free] and Facebook [free]) and when I try to activate them they close down before fully loading. I have tried turning my iPod off and on again 3 times and still they won't work...does anyone know what's wrong?

For some reason downloading another free app from the App store usually resolves this issue. Go ahead and give that a shot.

Safari closes when I try to open a bookmark

Hi,
I've had a recurring problem with Safari closing when I try to open the bookmark icon.
I've closed all running apps and restarted my ipad2, I have also shut off iCloud sync for bookmarks, closed everything and then restarted my iPad ( this worked for a short time) but the problem keeps returning when i try to sync my bookmarks. They will sync using iCloud or via hard wire but the fix won't last.

Then tap Clear History
Then tap Clear Cookies and Data
Restart your device.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.

Some AR Invoice status are Closed but some AR invoice status are Open-Print

I have seen some AR Invoice status are Closed but some AR invoice status are Open-Printed.
There are any reason for this.

Hello Mizan - if you add an AR Invoice and it immediately and automatically goes to "closed" status, then you have a big system problem on your hands. There is no way SAP B1 should automatically close an AR Invoice unless someone has done a manual reconciliation or has created an AR Credit Memo or has made a payment or has closed/cancelled the AR Invoice manually.
Call your SAP Partner or SAP Support immediately!!!

A/R invoice was closed even there are open balance

Hi,
I had a situation here.
An invoice with amount due of US 1,000.
Create an incoming payment > payment mean > cash paid US 600,
The incoming payment indicate an open balance of US -400.
However, when I check back the invoice, the status is closed and the applied amount is US 1,000, the balance due is 0.
Isn't the balance due should be 400?
I cannot find the invoice in the incoming payments anymore

Hi,
For example, you want to receive partial payment from customer and AR invoice amount is 200.
1. Open incoming payment window
2. select customer code
3. List of AR invoice will appear.
4. Select that invoice to be paid partially and change amount in "Total payment" column. For example 200 to 100.
5. Choose payment means and add amount 100.
6. After adding payment, check AR invoice status, sure it will show open status with applied amount and balance amount.
If do not change total payment column, balance amount will posted to payment of account and AR invoice will be closed.

Invoice status is "Closed" after posting from Partial Delivery Notes

My add-on posts PARTIAL draft documents to posted delivery notes without reference to a Sales Order up to invoices. I've noticed that after invoice posting, my document (invoice) status was closed while my delivery notes document is open. Should'nt my invoice status still open? in addition to what the others have said, please check your customer master, particularly in the Sales Area Data > Shipping tab. look at the partial deliveries. there may have been settings that tell the system if a delivery has been created with reference to the sales order, the order will be completed even if the quantity is only partially delivered. if the entry in the 'partial delivery per item' field is 'B', then this will explain your situation.
this can also be manually set in the sales order, so you have to take a look at the order as well, at item level.

A/R Invoice should be open while partial payment

I am having a problem in incoming payment.
1. Firstly i made one A/R Invoice of Rs. 10000.
2. Then in incoming payment by using payment means i had made the partial payment of Rs 4000.
According to logic A/R Invoice should remain Open, but its not happening the status of A/R Invoice is getting closed.
Please solve my problem how i make A/R Invoice Open in this situation.

Hi Nitu Singh,
I had the same problem with the same version that you used (8.81 PL07) and I know the right process of before and after versions of it, is to enter the partial amount in line of the selected invoice on the screen of the payment document.
I do not know why SAP has changed the process in this. is this a bug version or there is another way/process to do this for this version.
Please show me how you rectified the situation for your customer.

To reset, press and hold the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears.
I would delete the app, reset the phone and then download the app again. Your calendar information should be stored on the phone as Week Cal uses the Calendar app information.
