Invoice to be Blocked always if it is posted to a Separate G/L Account

Hi,
We have a requirement where the system has to block all the Invoices if it posted to a separate G/L Account during MIRO.
While posting an Invoice with reference to a P.O, sometimes Unplanned Delivery Costs are posted to a separate G/L account. In such cases all such Invoices needs to be Blocked. Is there any Standard settings/ Tolerance Keys which will be useful in such cases?
Please check and let me know.
Thanks,
Sonu

Hi,
As far as I know their is as such no standard setting available for check on GL account. For this I think you have to include your own modifications in the exit.

Purchase ledger invoices that are blocked for quality inspection. When invoices are keyed against a stock item that is required to be checked for quality the invoice automatically blocks. Once the check has been carried out and the batch has been released the invoice should automatically release for payment according to terms, however this is not happening.I checked MSC3N,where batch is in unrestricted and status released.Still in material document shows batch in QI.
Can any one what is the problem.

    Hi
check in MMBE where the material is lying under the batch .Is it under QI or Unrestricted.
from QI07 you can put it into Unrestricted or take the UD of lot if generated.

  • Report showig all invoices with payment block

    Hello Colleagues,
Can someone please tell me if there's a report displaying payment blocks on invoices ? Payment blocks placed manually by AP people and payment blocks placed by the workflow ?
    Thanks as ever!

    Hello Antoinette,
One additional thing to consider is that they can use the dynamic list selection to only propose all open invoices with a payment block and save this as a variant.  Then the layout I mentioned below could also be saved as a user specific layout and saved as part of the selection variant.
I would understand, however, that the query would make sense if they want to see specific things on the output and want to select based on a predefined list of selection criteria.
    Hope things work out.

  • Where to see the Invoices that are blocked ?

    Hello,
I want to see all the vendor invoices that are blocked whhn posted using MIRO transaction in  production. I don't have access to transaction MRBR but I do have access to SE11.
Now I know that table RSEG will show the documents that are blocked but it does not have any date field.
If I want to see all invocies blocked on particular date, how can I see that using tables ?
    Regards,
    rajesh.

    Hi,
You probably need a join between RBKP / RBKPV and RSEG to meet your requirement.
You could make this join in tcode SQVI to get fast result.
    Hope it helps you,

  • Invoice to be blocked for payment

    Hi,
we have a requirement where user gets the invoice and corresponding GR  one after another. When user post invoice first without GR that invoice would get blocked for payment and after user receives the goods it will be manually unblocked and processed it for payment.
If we process a credit memo for an existing PO for which we have already have GR and IR posted, this credit memo reduces the total invoice amount and shows it in the purchase order history, and if then user post any invoice prior to the GR, for this PO it would not be blocked for payment, as total GR is more than the total IR.
Can you please advise me how I can have such invoices automatically blocked for payment.
Your quick reply would be awarded
    Thanks,

    Gurus,
    Your inputs are more valuable.

  • Error  "Cost Cneter blocked againt direct posinting" while posting MIRO

    Hi Guru
We are trying to post the invoice with refrence to PO, line 30. As the cost center XXXX has been locked for posting, we are not able to post the invoice.  We do not want to reopen the cost center in 2011. It seems that it is not possible to modify the cost center in the PO and also business doesnt want to reverse the GR which was done in F.Y. 2010.
When I try to post invoice (MIRO) with line item(e.g. item 3 P.O) full amount(4000) and quantity(1) there is no error but when I try to post with partial amount (1750) and quantity(0.4) of line item of the PO system through the following error:
    Message no. KI260
    Diagnosis
Cost center XXXX, controlling area YYYY is locked for primary postings on 24.02.2011. The SAP System automatically determined controlling area YYYY from the company code (and business area).
What would be the alternative solution?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,

    Hi,
    A: Without price variance:
In case no price variance occur during the invoice posting the system posts the amount to the creditor account (line item 1)
and to the GR/IR clearing account (line item 2).   Because nothing is posted to the consumption account it makes no sense to issue message KI 260 as error.
In case the user does not enter (or change) invoice item data the system would balance the GR/IR clearing account as described above. In case no data is changed manually by the user the system does not post to the consumption account and hence it is not necessary to check the account assignment.
    B: With price variance:
In case a price variance occurs during the invoice posting the system posts the amount to the creditor account (line item 1)
to the GR/IR clearing account (line item 2) and the price variance to the consumption account (line item 3).
During the simulation the message KI 260 is issued as warning but in case the user tries to post the invoice document
message KI 260 is issued is error.
As I described above the account assignment check is only called in case the invoice item data is entered or changed manually. This is why you get the error when you post partially

  • Block UD saving, If stock posting is not done

    Dear Experts,
My requirement is to block UD when a stock posting activity not completed. In standard setting, the system allows to save UD without stock posting completion.
Is there any customization is possible to do this activity?
So that, the system should not allow UD saving without stock posting completion.
    VRMP.

    Hi VRMP,
Gajesh is guiding you in 100% correct way. Status Profile will work for you exactly as per your requirement.
You will be in need to use the STD Profile "QM_L_001 - Inspection Lot Profile 1" will surely work for you. Herewith attaching some guiding links that are prepared to establish the control to prevent UD if RR is not done. Similarly look into for some business transaction that prevent UD before Stock posting.
[Thread - 1 |Re: User Profile created to block the UD, if RR is not done.]
[Thread - 2|Re: Result recording mandatory before UD]
[Thread - 3|Re: How to prevent UD when Result Recording is not carried out]
Or the at the other hand you can do it smarter way also.
Make the Posting proposal for UD code in Back ground in QS51 for each UD code. By doing this if the user will perform UD and save, system will; perform the Stock posting in background automatically.

    Hi All,
Can anybody please tell me as to how to block the asset from depreciation posting. I need to stop the depreciaiton being posted to some assets.

Tick the "DEACT" check box in depreciation area tab in asset master (AS02). This will deactivate depreciation posting to that perticular asset.

  • AP Invoice interface - payment block

    Hi,
Peoplesoft is our main system for finance. We are using SAP for logistics applications. I am building a interface to send AP invoice details from SAP to peoplesoft on a daily basis. This interface needs to pick up only those invoice that are free for payment i.e. bseg-zlspr (payment block) field is blank. For example, if an invoice is in invoice verification process, it should not be sent. Till this point, it is easy to get the details of these invoices.
Once the invoice verification is done, bseg-zlspr field will become blank and needs to be picked up by interface. But the issue is how to select these invoices. Since the interface will run daily, I can select for invoices that are created on that day or changed on that day. But the issue, when the value of bseg-zlspr field is changed from blocked to free for payment, none of the date field value changes on either bkpf or bseg tables.
Any ideas how to handle this???

  • Price too low - Invoice is not blocked...

    Dear,
Probably you all know that invoices can be automatically blocked for payment based on the tolerances set up in customizing. When the price is too high, the system acts like expected, but when the price is too low, we don't get the preferred result. You get a warning message, but no payment block. It would be nice if the invoices with a "price too low" are blocked too.
We don't like to park them, because we work with a scanning procedure, so all invoices have to be posted immediately in the finance department, otherwhise it's very difficult to follow - up...
The purchasing and stock department are solving all the issues (qty and price differences) based on the list in MRBR. If the invoices with incorrect contracts are not in the list, this can give some problems. I've asked the finance people to block the invoices with a lower price manually, but for them this way of working is a little bit annoying...
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Is there a BADI or user exit (or customizing parameter)?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind Regards,
    Lien

    Please note the following:
The system will check the lower tolerance limit but an invoice will
never be blocked if the LOWER limit is exceeded. The system will only
display a warning message. In the standard system invoices will only be
blocked if the UPPER limit is exceeded because normally one wants to
prevent to pay more than expected.
In SAP Library: MM-Invoice with Variances-Tolerances you will also
    find the following explanation:
".. If the variance is outside the tolerance limit, the system displays
this in a warning message. If you do not adjust your entries, you can
still post the invoice. If, however, the upper tolerance limit is
exceeded, the system automatically blocks the invoice for payment."
If this is an issue, message M8084 and M8085 can be customized as
error messages, as a work around. Please transaction OMRM
(spro -> materials management -> logistics invoice verification ->
Define attributes of system messages here you can set message 084 to
    error)
You may also want to see the user exit exit_saplkont_002,
    enhancement MM08R002 for blocking.
I hope this information will answer your query.

  • Invoice is getting blocked automatically, want to avoid this

    Gurus,
While processing a GR based PO after posting Goods Receipt and then while processing Invoice Receipt, the invoice is being automatically blocked for verification. But I want this not to happen (I want invoice to be free for payment), I did check the T-code OMR6 (Set Tolerance Limits), Activation Item Amount Check and Stochastic Block. But nothing is working, am I missing any other config check from FI side or am I missing any check box while posting an Invoice or Goods receipt.
    Thanks

  • Using  cl_gui_textedit, text blocks always display prior document.

We have two containers and we're using two instances of cl_gui_textedit.
On the first call to the text screen, we see the two texts that we should see.
The user saves the data and backs out to the selection screen, which contains an ALV display of documents.
The user selects the next document to process.  During initialization, we attempt the FREE destructor but it does not destroy the text editor ref to cl_gui_textedit.  We can initialize with clear and free as ABAP statement.  Upon entry to the PBO, we can see that we have forcibly cleared the ref to cl_gui_textedit.  It's 0: INITIAL for both text editors.  We watch the table being built and the internal tables contain the correct text.   After our set read_only true or false, we get a beep, and then arrive at our text screen without any error message.
What is on the screen at that point will be the texts from the prior document.  We've tried inserting lifetime parameters for our custom container.  We've tried CALL METHOD cl_gui_cfw=>flush (which appears to always be necessary in PAI when we get the unprotected portion and the indices, etc.).  Neither of these alter the behavior of the screen and the erroneous content of the text editor blocks.
Question:  is there a method or something that anyone can suggest to "force" the text blocks to contain the data that was in the table, rather than the data that was in the table for the prior transaction?

Did you try calling the method DELETE_TEXT of the CL_GUI_TEXTEDIT before setting up the next text.
This is how I get rid of the existing text:
    * Delete the Text
      me->o_editor->delete_text( ).
    * Set the new text
      me->o_editor->set_textstream( EXPORTING text = iv_text ).

  • Framework Order PO Invoice to be block if exceeded.

I am using framework order PO for invoicing planning. The problem is my user can perform invoicing more than total of invoice on PO. Example;-
    Item: ABC
    Quantity: 1
    Net Price: $10
Invoice planning start from 01.01.2010 until 31.03.2010, this means for 3-month total of invoice is $30.
the problem happens when user perform invoicing more than $30. How to block invoice if invoice already fulfill or exceeded total of invoice on invoice planning on PO ?

    Hi,
I would advice you to set up a tolerance key "LA" in the transaction OMR6 for your company code, but  this limit check
does not work with parked invoices.
    As described in note 134976:
For the tolerance checks, the system proceeds as follows:
LA Amount of blanket purchase order
The system determines the variance between the total from the value of
the purchase order item calculated up to now and the value of the
current invoice for the limit of the purchase order and compares this
variance with the percentage and absolute upper limits which are set.
Itwill check  the individual invoice amount
against the Blanket PO Overall limit regardless of its parked or posted
status, but will not check splitted invoices amount if they are parked.
    In the MM-invoice verification's processes,
as you create a new invoice (post it directly or as park) reference to
Blanket PO, or process (then post an created/parked invoice) reference
to Blanket PO, in these processes, if you input/change the invoice
item's amount or click button 'Post' to post the invoice, the system will make
tolerance check with the tolerance key 'LA'.
But, according to our standard concept, the system will make the check only
based on the invoice item's amount and the data 'Actual value', 'Overall
    limit' in the Blanket PO.
Because the invoice item's amount in the
parked invoices would be not acculumated and saved into 'Actual value'
in the Blanket PO (it should happen only for posted invoices), the
amount in the parked invoice would be not considered in the tolerance
    check.

  • Invoice creation-Billing block doubt

    Hi,
I have a scenario where the sold-to party & ship-to party is ABC and bill-to party & payer is XYZ.
Sold-to party is blocked from creating invoices in XD05. (Billing block). Bill-to party and Payer doesn't have any block.
When I try to create invoice for a contract which is having above scenario, I am getting error "Document is blocked for billing" (Contract doesn't have any blocks)
I know that if we set billing block for customer in XD05, he will not be able to create any invoices. But Bill-to/Payer doesn't have any block. So SAP doesn't consider this point when blocking customer for invoicing.
    Thanks,
    Dattatreya N R

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for your reply.
Does Standard SAP takes into account only sold-to party into account when creating invoice. Because in the above scenario only sold-to party has block. Bill-to party and payer doesn't have any block.
We have not blocked the bill-to party or payer from paying for the invoice.
Because as per my understanding the main partner function while creating invoice is payer. Ans since in the above case payer is not blocked, will it not allow to create invoice.
Just want clarification regarding standard SAP behavior  with respect to invoice creation.
    Thanks,
    Dattatreya N R
