Invoing process for Non Manufacruring location - INDIA CIN related Querry

Hi Experts,
We have manufacturing as well as non manufacturing  plants. For the non manufacturing plant location , Creadit is not taken for the Basic Excise duty, ECess & HEcess. This cost is inventoriesed. But we take the Creadit on VAT Amount.
Now we have maintained the condition records based on Plant /Vendor / Material Combination & Assigned this to Tax Code say VD
This Tax code is maintained in the PO. While doing the IR. We are facing problem
As the Total Excise amount is to be inventoried as well as we tave take the credit on the VAT amount.
Now we are Inventorising the Excise duty amount by distributing the Excise duty amount to the PO line item. Select the different Tax code which is applicable only for VAT.
We unflag the Calculate tax check box & give the VAT amount in the Tax amount field manually .
We want to know where this is the right process or need to follow other methods.
Could you please guide us
Thanks
Tanvi

Hi
Which tax procedure are you working on??

  • Identify elevated process for non-admin

Although it is unusual, unpriviledged users can run elevated under their normal credentials (not with admin creds).  This most commonly occurs with logon scripts run from GPO.
Running elevated messes some things up (particularly drive mapping).  Thus, I'm looking for a way for a script to identify if it is running elevated.  I know how to find elevated status for administrators:
    $identity = [System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity]::GetCurrent()
    $principal = New-Object System.Security.Principal.WindowsPrincipal( $identity )
    $admin = [System.Security.Principal.WindowsBuiltInRole]::Administrator
    if ($principal.IsInRole( $admin )) {
    # script is running as an admin
But this doesn't work (obviously) for non-admins.
    This article
is helpful for testing for elevated processes, but it doesn't work if run elevated itself.
    Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi Cascomp,
In addition, Please also check the script below to determine running elevated or not.
    [bool]((whoami /groups) -match "S-1-16-12288")
The SID "S-1-16-12288" imply the group the current user belong to has a High Mandatory Level Label, and the elevated user has the high level, which can be found HERE.

  • Intercompany STO process for non valuated material

    Hi Experts,
Please advise is intercomany STO process possible for non valuated material?
Material where only quantity update is there & value costed to a cost object.
If intercompany process is possible then what are all the steps that complete
    the full cycle?
    Regards,
    Partha

    Hi,
Intra-company-code stock transfer orders to nonvaluated materials can be created in R/3 without specifying an account assignment.
Carry out the following steps for the advance correction:
    1. Create the message '159' in the message class 'XC'. To do this, call transaction 'SE91' (message maintenance). Enter the message class 'XC' and create the message '159' with the following short text:
               Message              Message short text
159          The account assignment category could not be determined
               Save the message.

  • Process for Trading and Imports in CIN

    Dear Friends,
The main business of our client is manufacturing and selling. For that they have a separate excise license. Along with that they do some trading activity of imported goods and for that they have different license. While imports there is a portion of Customs duty which is creditable and non creditable. Recoverable portion of customs duty is passed to the customer.
To map this in SAP we are proposing a dummy plant with different registration number as a Depot. which can directly procure the imported goods and sell with the additional recoverable duty to the customer with other taxes like Education cess, H & S Education cess and VAT.
    Now I have following questions
    1)     Whether this set up is OK
    2)     Whether this new plant can procure imported materials directly and sell to the final customer with excise transactions?
    3)     If yes, whether this will update RG23 D register correctly?
    4)     If no, what process need to be set up for this in SAP?  (e.g stock transfer from main plant to the dummy plant i.e. do we need to take the imported goods stock in the manufacturing plant, Transfer the same to the Dummy plant with all Excise implications and then sell the goods from Depot?)
    5)     With this will the RG23D register  be updated during Sales?
Can anyone please guide me so as to how to map this in SAP with RG23D register updation.
    Regards,
    Harsh

    Hey there Ashish,
There are a couple of things to know about this:
     - AFAIK - this feature isn't available in Project Online
     - For on-premise Project Server 2013 you need to go to Central Administration->General APplication Settings->Manage PWA->Operational Policies->Alerts and Reminders and switch it on there.  If you can't see the setting make sure you
have already configured the outgoing SMTP sever settings for your installation.
    Cheers,

    Hi,
Both domestic and import process are same and the difference is the duties, kindly follow the below steps.
    1. Create new document type for Import procurement and number range for easy identification.
    2. Keep two different pricing procedure for import and domestic along with schema.
    3. Keep condition type for  CVD, Customs, CESS and others.
    4. Do MIRO for Customs duty and MIGO after stock reached you.

  • Solution for Data transfer from Non-network location

If i  needed 10 non-networked locations around Australia to submit data (say text files ranging from 20 - 100 mb each) each day to my server, and the data loaded and manipulated into a database in a secure environment, would you be able to describe the key points and a possible solution to this problem ?

    Hi Amar,
FTP [File Transfer Protocol] alone isnu2019t a viable option to give the insight, security, performance, and, ultimately, the risk mitigation necessary to responsibly conduct business. One of the solution to protecting and transferring sensitive or mission-critical data securely is Managed File Transfer (MFT). Managed File Transfer solutions provide a greater level of security, meet strict regulatory compliance standards and give you the reliability you need in a data transfer solution.
Points to look for in a solution:
    a.  Providing file transfer transparency throughout your entire organization.
    b. Solution should support the most modern security standards and methodology including SSL encryption, X.509 certificates and proxy certificates.
    c. The solution should streamline the audit process while also being able to access that audit information from a central point, saving you time and money.
    d. Solution should include functionality that allows data to be pre-and post-processed.
    e.  Solutions should ensure that all interrupted file transfers resume where they left off after a connection failure without manual intervention.
    f. Should tightly integrate with your existing job scheduling solution to issue alerts if connections are not re-established after an acceptable time interval.
    g. Should adhere to current security and audit requirements including SOX, GLBA and HIPAA.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Jimmy

  • Auto-copy putaway quantity in Inbound for Non-WMS storage location

    Dear All SAP Gurus,
I need to create an inbound delivery document for non-WM managed storage location and "copy" the quantity into the "putaway quantity" field automatically. Is there any setting to do this automatic assignment? As far as I know, if the storage location is non-WM managed, we usually need to manually enter the putaway quantity as part of the verification process during the PGR (goods receipt).
    Please help.
Thank you and appreciated for your efforts.

  • Storage Location for NON valuated material in MIGO

    Hi friends ,
I have created a purchase order for NON-Valuated material (UNBW) with Account Assignment "K".I did check the material type UNBW configuration where only Value Update is checked for my Plant.
Now at the time of MIGO , system is asking for Storage lcoation (mandatory) and after MIGO system also updates quantity in Storage Location entered in MIGO.
while in normal cases (like ROH material type) , if we create Account Assigned PO ( like K) , system neither ask for Storage lcoation at the time of MIGO , nor system updates Qty at any storage location.
As per my understanding , if we create Purchase Order with account assignment K , system updates value in consumption and doesn't update Qty in stock (although material is stockable) .....which is simply like immediately issue of material to cost center.
Therefore wondering why system is updating Qty for NON-VALUATED material.
Does non valuated material means , POST value to Cost center (for account assignment K) and Update Qty in stock ?
Like in case of Account Assignment , value gets charged to WBS and qty gets updated as special stock "project"
    All replies are welcome .....
    Regards
    Shrey

By definition UNBW's are ony qty updating and have no value assoicated with them. Since the system needs to stock this qty somewhere it by deafult asks for a Sloc.

  • Any RunningApplications-like function for non-windowed processes?

Am I missing any RunningApplications-like function for non-windowed processes like Unix executables? To start with I'd settle for processes in user-space but would ultimately like to list processes like Activity Monitor does. Even comparing RunningApplications results to user space Activity Monitor results will show the difference.
As far as I can tell you need to go all the way down to kauth and kernel space to watch for non-windowed processes being launched. Is there somethig in-between I'm missing? A notification device about launching apps would be perfect if it cover all processes.
    Thanks,
    =Tod

I think kqueue may be able to do what you want. Look at the EVFILT_PROC filter. You may have to watch a number of processes - perhaps all of them. But that would tell you any time you get a fork and whenever a process is reaped.
I looked at kqueue at it does what I want but you need to register it on a by process/file basis which is great for a very specific set of things but not for overall system watching. (I also looked at fsevents but it is designed as a post-event notification system.) While NSWorkspace has the usual Cocoa model notifcation willlaunchApp, didlaunchApp, etc it seems that you need to get the kernel to watch the launch lifecycle of non-windowed functions.
I actually did manage to get a comprehensive list of running apps out of parsing sysctl output with much less trouble than I expected. So far I have managed to get the pid, uid and abbreviated processname and the list seems to match the Activity Monitor list - at least at this testing printf stage. Getting the username from uid should be trivial and the full file name is doable it just requires some struct length and offset math. I'd like the launch path information but I can live without it for monitoring purposes if I can't figure out how to get it.
This means that the monitoring part of the running system seems relatively straight forward - wrapping the call in an NSTimer and watching for changes in the returned results. But the watching of the actual starting and stopping of all processes remains some deeper work.
    Thanks for all the suggestions,
    =Tod

  • MIGO Print label WEE1 for non stock items from GR for PO

    Hi,
I added logic to print new label into printing program MZ07DETI which is printing labels for stock items. My label is for non stock items. The problem is that for non stock items printing process is not triggered. I created PO with Account Assign. Category F, P or K no material number and no storage location. For this type of PO no print possible during GR posting. Is any set up available in IMG to make it work. I appreciate any response.

    Hi,
Please check up if there is any default value at the plant level;in case of such default, the system will post to the GL Account defaulted, not with standing the "standard item category".Better checkup if any cost center /order has been assigned.
The GL item is defaulted thro'the item category. If both the goods and services have been defaulted to the same GL  Account, then not with standing the type [ie] whether goods or services, the system will post tot he same GL Acct.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.
    Ramesh

  • How to translate into English Apple China support page joke for non-Chinese

In China there are many thousands of English speaking non-Mandarin/Cantonese inhabitants amongst the billion+ natives - it would be very prudent of Apple to support cultural foreigners with an English alternative radio button or two on Chinese web pages. Please support us when trying to find Apple support service on a Mandarin text only support pages. Ethnic myopia to believe there are only Chinese speakers/readers inside the borders of this vast land.
The Apple Extended Warranty "outside of Bejing" telephone number is TOTALLY an automated voice ONLY speaking in Mandarin, even at 8pm. Nothing of English support. What can any non-natives do? Nothing offered that we can hear of what hours of support operation. (Australia at least did go till 11pm even if it was diverted in to Engaliss "speakar" Indians guys. Still India was exc. with service, now in China it's 9-5 hours only? The pronunciation on weak low power Chinese lines that for one call ever means for keeping a hearing aid by the phone.
My experience with Mac sellers here (nothing like a western dealership here thankyou) in Shanghai show only interest in selling more and giving less than lip sync for support service locations/addresses/tel contacts. That is if one can bridge the language barrier most of the huge electronic gadgets sales centers personel to be spasmodically understood - a very frustrating land to bring an Apple computer into.
Doesn't anyone on the Apple CEO board ever visit China and "go native" to experience real world problems?
Apple heros and Applettes in Apple Genesis land : support English-only readers on your foreign language pages - at least show a translation service radio button or someting other than Mandarinic hieroglyphs, even Pin Yin would be a start. Apple speak of a 'global' policy, please support the tens of thousands of English only speakers in the business community, the teachers and travellers in these foreign countries. iPod sales go through the roof here, but finding English based extended warranty support is like something invisible on another planet.
So after a real world complaint - will Apple do anything contructive, can anyone supply solutions? Cannot downoad/update anything; Safari, Explorer both 'blink' only at every atempt, also I wish to locate all iTunes files into one place. Instructing iTunes 'Advanced' section will not transfer the 2 gigs on the G5 across to my dedicated iTunes only 230GB HD. Maybe someone can supply an answer, thanks.
G5 iMac; 2 GHz PowerPC; 1 GB DDR SDRAM; 160HD combo   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   And a G3 ibook with the dual OS9/OSX partitioned startup operating systems

For extended warranty support, try going to:
Apple Computer Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Room 1201, Lippo Plaza, 222, Huai Hai Zhong Lu, Shanghai 200021, P.R.C.
Try to learn some Chinese, too. I'm sure that's along the lines of what you might suggest to a Chinese immigrant to Australia who doesn't speak English, can't read the Apple Australia web site and complains that because there are 1.2 billion Chinese in the world and only 12 million Australians, the Australian site should have a Chinese translation radio button.
    Good luck!
