Invoking BPEL process into Java application

Hi,
I have created a student admission form using Java in eclipse editor.I want send the total payload to bpel process.For that i need to call bpel from java application.
So If any one have any idea regarding this,please share with me.

Hi,
a BPEL process is exposed by a WSDL reference. Create a JAX-WS proxy client and call the WS port therein from Java. The port then grants you access to the exposed methods in BPEL. Before you ask how to create a JAX-WS proxy client in Eclispse - I don't know as this is JDeveloper forum. So you may want to post the question to an Eclipse forum. I can tell how you do it in JDeveloper though

Invoking bpel process from java in oracle soa/bpm 11g

We have some java code to invoke bpel process in oracle BPM 10g following the instructions in http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/integrate.1012/b14448/invoke.htm.
Basically the steps are:
1) get a Locator (com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator)
2) get IDeliveryService (com.oracle.bpel.client.delivery.IDeliveryService) reference from locator
3) call IDeliveryService method request or post with input message and get the response back.
Recently we want to migrated from oracle bpm 10g to oracle soa/bpm 11g. But I can not find the similar API in 11g. It seems now some adapter/binding need to be added in exposed service lane in soa composite view, for example, ADF-BC, direct binding etc, in order to allow java to invoke a bpel process. Here are two very useful links from Edwin about the detail how this is implemented.

My question is:
1) what are the choices and the official/best way to invoke a bpel process in oracle soa/bpm 11g from java?
2) does user need to add an adapter/binding in exposed service lane in order to let the bpel service be called in java?
3) what is the real difference between a bpm application and soa application in 11g?

Yes, I found the difference of the invoking process API and was able to invoke bpel process using direct and ADF-BC binding by following Edwin's blog. But I have not found any official reference to compare this API difference between 10g and 11g ( I will mark this question as answered if anyone can find an official source from oracle, need to prove it to the team). The API to work with human task workflow seems pretty much the same between 10g and 11g.

Invoke Bpel process from web application

Hi,
I am using SOA 11g, I have created a Bpel human workflow process. was able to initiate the same from the console.
My requirement is like need to invoke the same programatically.How can I do that.
Read some docs says Bpel process can be invoked from ejb's soap etc.
I am new to, bit confused what and how to implement the same.
Can any one provide me links/sample for the same.
Also need How to get the tasks ID if we want to initiate the tast thru java program

can you please tell which jar file has com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator class in SOA 11g.
I have checked in
1. C:\Oracle\Middleware\Jdev\jdeveloper\soa\modules\oracle.soa.bpel_11.1.1\orabpel.jar and
2. C:\Oracle\Middleware\Home\Oracle_SOA1\soa\modules\oracle.soa.bpel_11.1.1\orabpel.jar
couldn't find the java file at these locations.

Invoking BPEL process from ADF application - webservice connection failed

Hi,
I am trying to invoke a Bpel process from ADF page , I deployed the same in Standalone SOA server since I had to display some Human Task Forms.
I created a webservice data control out of the bpel process and dropped the process method in my page.
The page on which I dropped the process method stopped rendering and I checked the logs and found that I got the error mesage- webservice connection failed,the webservice url could not be reached and in the logs it also asks us to check if the connections.xml is available in the meta-inf directory. I checked the conections.xml is available in the EAR.
So any pointers here and any one faced this error anytime?
is there better ways to invoke the bpel flow from ADF page.

Check if your wsdl endpoint can accessed properly. If yes, check the soap-binding address is properly pointing to the server hosting the webservice.

I'm trying to initiate a BPEL process from my servlet running under Tomcat. When I create the NormalizedMessage passing the XML as a String everything works fine. But if I use an org.w3c.domElement the BPEL server doesn't react at all (even on DEBUG log level there are no outputs).
This works:
NormalizedMessage message = new NormalizedMessage();
message.addPart("payload", "<foo></foo>");
This doesn't work:
org.w3c.dom.Element elem;
oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLDocument xmlDocument;
NormalizedMessage message = new NormalizedMessage();
Element elem = xmlDocument.createElement("foo");
message.addPart("payload", elem);

Getting the final result of BPEL Process through Java

I am trying to invoke BPEL Process from Java code as follows:

The node names getting printed are :

When i retrieve value from these nodes using getNodeValue(), it is showing null for result. However through the BPEL Console, when i see the instance, it shows the result as 5 :

Did you ever find a solution to your problem?
My situation is that I'm running a process that grabs data from a salesforce.com web service and dumps some of the data back into my local database. The process croaks after processing 850 or so records. I have also increased my PermSize memory to 512M.
Any ideas why all of a sudden after processing that many records it would stop working?

You are trying to create a locator object with default values which does not work at all times.Use Locator("default",prop) where prop is a properties object and set the values according to your environment.
The following properties values must be set
