Invoking Third Party software from Oracle applications

Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement where we would like to invoke thrid party software from APPS. For example when i click on a button in the toolbar (of Oracle Applications HRMs module) we want a document management system to open and show the documents related to the person on the screen.
Have anyone acheived anything like this? If Yes can you please share the knowledge?

Warning, third party software from Lenogo

Hi,
I just wanted to warn others about purchasing third party software from "Lenogo" www.lenogo.com
I saw this company mentioned here on the apple forum, and I then purchased the ipod to mac transfer software so I could transfer my music from my ipod (all paid for, no copyright issues here) back to my computer's itunes after an unsuccessful sync.
The software wouldn't download or install and the company did not reply to any of my emails or support tickets, or provide telephone contact details.
They did not provide support or a 30 day money back guarantee refund, as advertised.
I've been ripped off, basically!
Just wanted to let you guys know so it doesn't happen to you!

How can i download third party Softwares from Support tab in Apple site?

Hi,
Previously i downloaded third party softwares for mac like Browsers, Anti- Virus softwares from Apple site but now i can download only Apple products (softwares) not third party softwares from download links so any one please let me know the status.

Apple no longer hosts a website for 3rd party software. Instead it runs the Mac App Store, which offers a good range of software.
If you are very keen for the apps and other things that are not in the Mac App Store, a good app to download is "Bodega" - which provides another app store experience.

How to call third party software from Ecc6 using ABAP

Hi all,
I need to execute a third party software using abap coding .
The software converts doc to pdf, the input from ecc6 would be the file path.
I need to do this using ABAP.

Hi all. I am trying to find the Third-Party software as outlined here:

Most likely you will find this software in https://edelivery.oracle.com (under Oracle Communications Applications for your OS) - pl open an SR in My Oracle Support to confirm

Connecting to third party software from R/3

Hi Interface Gurus,
I have to communicate with a software program lying on AS400(i series) system from R/3. Please let me know the process i need to follow to talk to this software.
It would be of help if you can suggest how and what are the settings and steps i need to take to make a RFC call to this program from R/3.

Hi Rupendra,
In order to communicate with a third party software, you need to establish a connection first and then it can send and receive the messages.
For all these settings to be done you need to contact your Basis person, who will setup the RFC destination and sender details and other basic needs.

How to invoke third party webservices in oracle apps R12 when wsdl is provided and no SOA server exists

Hello Everyone,
I am working on Oracle apps R12 and we don't have any SOA server setup. I got a requirement to invoke a third party webservice and send some of the data from oracle apps database to the third party and they provided the wsdl file to invoke their webservice. How can I achieve this? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you need to have SOA configured with EBS to run those webservices.
Please log a SR to confirm the same with Oracle support.

Calling third party software from LabVIEW

Hi All,
In one of the requirement, I need to open the Debugger(AXD debugger) then needs to send some commands from it.
Is it possible to invoke debugger from LabVIEW and work on specific text boxes in the debugger.
Details : APIs or DLLs related to debugger are not exposed to outside world.
I am using teststand3.1 software as manangement tool.
AXD debugger runs on Windows.
Is any body come across similar type of issue ?,,Please suggest me the way to wokr on it.

We are using 11.5.9. I haven't used finance modules so far.
We are having a third party software which has different modules like Inventory, Sales, POS, Purchase, Payables, Receivables etc.
We would like to have the inventory/Sales/POS/Purchase details in oracle AP. For these, what are all the things to be considered like the below one:
1) COA between oracle and third party software should be matched.
2) Customers id and supplier id defined in oracle apps should be matched with third party software. If not matched, how can we map these to the previous data?
3) What are all the APIs to be used in order to pull data from third party software into oracle payables.
4) How can we export data from oracle AP into third party software? I mean, is there any basket where we can put our oracle AP data, so that this would be pulled by third party software.
Like these, I would like to know , Is there any points/consideration to be noted before doing interface.

If the files came with an uninstaller, use it. To get rid of all the stragler files most applications leave download a 3rd party uninstaller.

ISync and third party software

Having recently purchased a shiny new Intel Macbook (running Tiger
10.4.8), I was keen to get ISync (2.3) working with my Nokia N80. As
usual I've picked a model that isn't supported by ISync. Bah!
So to cut some corners until ISync is updated I have purchased third
party software from Nova Media in Germany.
I had heard that this solution was the best alternative and cost me 10
Euros.
For some reason it won't work.
When setting up the permissions for ICal the check box does not stay
checked.
Nova Media Support were quick to reply with some suggestions:
1: Delete old ISync permissions from Library.
2: Repair ISync using Disk Utility and First Aid
3: Reset Device Sync through ISync.
and a link to resolving this issue within the apple support pages.
(although the answer seemed directed at 10.4.6)
Tryed them all several times with no success.
This as you can appreciate is driving me nuts!!!
Anyone out there had the same problem, or any suggestions on getting
this problem sorted and cheering up my day?

I would expect Subversion 1.7 to work with OPM. Although we tested it specifically against 1.6 and 1.5 Subversion is pretty backwards compatible.
You can choose to installl svn as part of the OPM install. this is SlikSVN 1.6. If you choose not to install it. It will use the existing SVN client available on your machine. It detects this by working out if an svn client can be accessed through the standard windows path.
You can if there is an svn client avaialble by starting a command prompt and typing "svn --version" if it returns something. OPM should use this SVN client.
You don't necessarily need to use TortoiseSvn. TortoiseSvn is essentially an integrated user interface for Subversion in windows.

Third Party software's to be launched from SharePoint 2013

I have a strange requirement of launching couple of third party software's from a SharePoint site. Here is one of the application, this application is used for time management which sync's to a central server (I think). It has a user interface where user
can capture his/her time and then save it. Now, my client wants to launch this application from his SharePoint site like an icon should be there on the site and users can click it from company's external SharePoint site and use the application. The current
situation is that application is installed on the SharePoint server and now we need to host it on a SharePoint library or anywhere (may just a link) but as per my understanding we cannot do that so I wanted to check with all admins if they have ever encountered
such request or even is this doable?

If it's a web app, you can integrate it leveraging the Secure Store Service, but I've got the feeling it's a client application. Of course, this falls outside the control of SharePoint or the browser, but you can display a link pointing to a local client
in HTML in a SharePoint page. If it's there, a dialog window appears and if the end user agrees the client app is started (of course, it is not possible to start client apps at will from a browser, this would be far from a desirable situation). The code would
be like so:

my computer crashed and i lost all of my songs on my pc, i heard that we can put back all the songs stored in ipod back to pc, using a third party software. do you guys think this is the best way to do it? what are the list of software? i tried doing it using itines 7 but i just cant do it. pls help. thanks much!

harddisk or usb and then run this software from there. Regarding this issue, I suggest that you should contact with the third-party software support and confirm it. Since most programs use windows registry entries, and may rely on some .dll files. If all relevant
auxiliary files and configurations of this software were installed in one directory tree, you may be able to install and run it on an external harddisk or usb.
