INVOKING TKPROF file

Hi,
Can u tell me how to Invoke this TKPROF file

tkprof - is not a file. it is utility to format oracle trace file to more redable output. to invoke tkprof
tkprof trace_file_name.trc output.txt
I will suggest you using
tkprof trace_file_name.trc output.txt SYS=NO - if you would like not to include recursive sql in teh output (sql queries to data dictionary)
best regards

    Case 2: Execution time is about 2 minuteswhen :v6 differs from :v3 and :v4, but :v3=:v4 (these are date bind variables values)
    You can see TKPROF files below

    the plans show that your first query has to do much more work than the second query (250M vs. 17M consistent gets). The queries use different plans and the second plan seems to be the better choice - since the first query does not return any rows. The plans also tell us where the time is spent - and there are some nested loops with extreme execution counts and a lot of expansive index access operations (especially the skip scan on P_HOLDINGS), but I would prefer to use a a plan with rowsource statistics to find the errors in the optimizers cardinality estimations.

  • How to get the total execution time from a tkprof file

    Hi,
    I have a tkprof file. How can I get the total execution time. Going through the file i guess the sum of "Total Waited" would give the total time in the section "Elapsed times include waiting on following events:"
    . The sample of tkprof is given below.

  • How to invoke WADL files from BPEL?

    Hi,
    I have an urgent requirement of invoking WADL files from BPEL process.
    Can anybody help me on how to do it and provide some documentation on it.

    We had a similar requirement, BPEL calls the stored procedure, it calls the custom job created in Oracle EBS, this job runs the command script

  • FileChooser is not invoking the file Please Help

    Hi,
    I have created a menuItem when user selects from the menuItem the file chooser come's up after that when he select any file from the JFile chooser dilalog box the r not invoked.Here is the code, please tell me where am i wrong. Please Help me out
    Thanking u
    in advance
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
    Object source = evt.getSource();
    if(source == dialerItem)
    JFileChooser chooser = new JFileChooser();
    chooser.setCurrentDirectory(new File("."));
    chooser.setFileFilter(new Javax.swing.filechooser.FileFilter()
    public boolean accept(File f)
    String fname = f.getName().toLowerCase();
    return fname.endWith("html") || f.isDirectory();
    public string getDescription()
    return "Html Files";
    int r = chooser.showOpenDialog(this);
    if(r == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION)
    chooser.getSelectedFile();

    Not "invoking" the file? What does that mean? What did you expect it to do?
    What it actually does, in the last line of your code, is to create a File object based on the selected file, then to discard it because you didn't assign it to a File variable.

  • Invoking PDF file from Forms

    We had a requirement in Oracle 10iDS to invoke PDF file from the Application form .I am trying to do that using client_host('AcroRd32.exe D:\temp\abc.pdf') which is not working ..
    I have webutil configured as well ..
    Can you some one suggest me on this
    Many thanks
    Sareen

    Sareen,
    If the PDF is on the client:
    web.show_document('file://D:\temp\abc.pdf', '_BLANK');
    If on the Application Server, then create a virtual directory (for instance docs/):
    web.show_document('http://server.com:7778/docs/abc.pdf', '_BLANK');

  • Can generate the TKPROF file without the SQL is not running completed ?

    Dear all:
    I want to generate the TKPROF file from the trace file, Can generate the TKPROF file without the SQL is not running completed ? Is it the TKPROF file can be used? because the report is too large. My environment is ORACLE 11.5.9
    Regards
    Terry

    When you can wait for completion, then that's the easiest route.
    When you can't wait, you'll have to use a different method. I suggest to watch the v$ views for what your session is doing. Views like v$session, v$session_wait, v$sess_io and the views starting with v$sql. Also worth mentioning is Tanel Poder's site, which contains some very useful scripts for diagnosing performance problems this way: http://tech.e2sn.com/.

    Any help in this is highly apprciated.
    Regards,

    Hi Nagaraju,
    Is the server where the service is deployed internal or external in regard ti your bpel server? If it is internal and you can not ping it then there is something wrong with your network settings, e.g. your ip, netmask or gateway settings. In this case can you ping other servers in your local network? If it is a service which you call on the internet there may be two problems.
    - Your server can not resolve the hostname. Then you must either configure your dns correctly or add entries to your host file which is a bad practice for internet addresses because they are subjected to change, try if you can lookup the ip from your bpel server with 'nslookup servername'
    - Your network is protected by a firewall which does not allow you to access the internet directly. If there is a proxy server in your network you can add it to your bpel oc4j container settings. Go to EM website, select your oc4j_bpel container, administration tab, server properties, change -Dhttp.proxySet=false to -Dhttp.proxySet=true, add -Dhttp.proxyHost=myproxy.company.com, add -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080, add -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=bpelserver.company.com (offcourse you have to replace myproxy.company.com and bpelserver.company.com with your own settings)
    I hope this helpes you out.

  • Shell Script not getting invoked in File adapter

    Hi all,
    Requirement:
    PI need to pick the file from source directory and send it to target directory using SFTP.
    I'm using SCP command for this purpose.
    When I run the shell script (with simple SCP command) from command prompt, script is working fine.
    Same script is called from PI File adapter but script is not getting invoked.
    In the communication channel logs, "Executed OS command" is available. There are no Error/Warning messages in the log.
    NFS transport protocol is used in the File communication channel.
    Complete directory path of the shell script is mentioned in File channel -> Run Operating System command after message processing.
    Even the following simple command is not working from PI receiver file channel:
    echo "Test file" >> /data/test.txt
    Please let me know if I'm missing out something.
    Thanks,
    Geetha

    Hi Geetha,
    I think the syntax u are using is not correct. Please follow the below syntax:
    /path/<script_name> %F
    for ex: /staging/Interface/XI/Script/FTPData %F
    use the above in the communication channel.
    %F should be after a space.
    FTPData is the script name
    /staging/Interface/XI/Script/ is the location where the script is present
    Cheers,
    Souvik

  • How to invoke Java file into Mobile phone

    hi
    I have one java file (as servlet to display WML content on mobile phone) but i don't know how to invoke it into mobile phone . Can you help me ?
    Give me your answer asap
    Thanks

    Depends on the phone. Some let you send an app via IR or bluetooth, and others (like the sharp) make you do it via the wap browser.

  • Servlet for firl downloading is not invoked, but file IS downloaded.Cache ?

    Hi,
    I used a servlet to enable users to download files from server. Sometime I noticed the servlet is not invoked at all, but files are downloaded. I guess it is a cache problem. How do I make sure the servlet is invokced everytime I click the button to download file, instead getting a cached file?
    Also, I used JEXCEL package to generate Excel files for users to download. The first time the Excel file is generated, all formatting info was kept. But later generation of the Excel lost all formatting info, I just got the "raw" Excel file. Of course the content of the file is correct, just without format I want.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    There are two ways to display the content of the CPA cache refresh.
    1. The Cache-Update Content-XML
    Document can be stored in the Adapter Framework database (J2EE schema) for further analysis. Here you have to set the property in the J2EE Visual Administrator tool.
    To do so, proceed as follows:
    =>J2EE-service SAP XI AF CPA Cache
    => set property trackCacheUpdateXML= true
    => You can now display the cache update XML with the alias  CPACache
    => View Cache Update History
    => View Cache Update XML
    2. The content of the cache refresh from the Integration Directory intothe CPA cache can be written to an XML file: Here you have to set the property inthe J2EE Visual Administrator tool:
    =>J2EE-service SAP XI AF CPA Cache
    => set property J2EE service SAP XI AF CPA Cache cacheUpdateDebugFile = true
    => the CPA cache refresh XML file will be in the server(0) directory search for the following file names:
    => value of the property cacheUpdateDebugFile.deltaif you intend to see the delta refresh accordingly and the value of the property cacheUpdateDebugFile.full if
    you intend to see the full cache refresh content
    Note: After your analysis, do not forget to reset the properties value to false.
    You can delete the XML cache-
    refresh table: alias CPACache
    => View Cache Update History
    => Delete History
    Also check out the user and its permission.
