Hi
Given report is standard SAP define report using the CO RP/RW report and the details are
Table                        CCSS
Library                       6O1
Report group              6L03
Using the TCODE : GRR2  - open the report and in the menu >Edit>General Data selection - u will get the pop up screen for element definition in that select the Business area in right side and send it to left side
Before doing as above - you must have "variable" which defines the Business area - create the same using the TC:GS11 create like how the period is created

  • Unable to copy Actual cost to Planned cost via CJ9CS

I am trying to copy actual cost to planned cost for secondary cost elements via CJ9CS; currently there is a variance.
How can I match my planned cost with the actual cost.
We have already applied OSS note 304119 and we are on ver. 4.7.
Has any one used enhancement COOMKPT4 and function exit EXIT_SAPMKPT4_010 Or is there any other way to copy the actual cost to the planned cost?
    Thanks
    Amit

    Hi Sudhir,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
CJEN won't work for us, we are trying to find a way to fix CJ9CS.
When we do CJ9CS the price is getting copied over from the price defined in KP26 instead of the Actual price.
We have to find a way for the system to disregard the plan price while copying and just take the actual price.
Any clues how we can do that?

  • Copy actual data to plan version

    Dears,
I have a requirement wherein business has maintained plan data for balance sheet GLs in GP12N for version 1 for 6 months. Now the requirement is to copy actual data of first 6 months to next 6 months in version 2 (forecast) and start comparing actual/plan/forecast. I tried copying in FAGLGP52N, but it allows only from plan version to another plan version.
Please suggest if there is a way to copy actual data to plan version.
I have another requirement to display plan version data of cost element (PL) which we maintain in KP06/7KE1 in F.01.
    Thanks,
    Lokesh

Try to use Plan version (000) where the Actual values are posted in this version.
    Cheers,
    Sarhan.

  • CAT2 - Actual hours exceeds Planned hours.

    Hi All,
I am maintaining seperate data entry profile for Time Administrator. When i posted time entry for a subcontractor using the time administrator profile, it throws error message saying "Actual hour exceed Planned hours". I had checked the planned hours in CJ20N for the personnel no. it has surplus hours.
Then why it showing error message.
    Regards,
    Shadeesh.G

    What is CJ20N ?
We see the message "Actual hour exceed Planned hours" as a warning when the number of hours entered in CAT2 exceeds the Planned Hours in the employee's Daily Work Schedule.
Are you getting a "Warning" or an "Error" ?
Warnings and Errors are part of Time Management configuration.  For example, if you use IT2005 to record Overtime, you can select "NoMessage/Warning/Error" through the Daily Work Schedule (V_T550A).

    Hello Mayur,
    Please try with KP97/KP98 transactions.
I suspect, that you are giving wrong target plan version.
Please check your entries once again.

  • Profit center - actual data and plan data question -?

    Hi Gurus
Please clear my doubts in profit cneter accounting.
    1) what is PLAN data  -? (What is planning in a bigger picture)
why do we need plan data -?
2)ACTAUL data will be posted in the profit center from other SAP moduldes.
So with out PLAN data  prrofits can not be figured -?
    OR
Plant data is for some other purpose -?
Please can some help me on these -? Alos any examples are really good for me to understand
    Really appreciate.
    Thanks
    Kris

    Hi,
Profit centers captures actual revenues & expenses of the business transaction.  The company arrives the
net of income over expenses and analyses whether the Profit center is making Profit or not.  Now they
want to control the expenses and have a target set to expand the revenue base to optimize profit.
For this they have to plan each costs and revenues over a period for a Profit Center.  When they
plan values for these profit centers they have to take into consideration the business trend over
next 12 months and the plan is set for each period.  Actuals are posted in normal day to day transactions.
During period end, the analysis is being done to see the variance between plan and actual and measures
are taken to control the areas to reduce these variance which may affect Profit.

  • Disappearing actual values in plan query

    HI,
I have a problem with input ready query in Integrated Planning (BI 7.0 s.p. 23).
In query I have a few key figures with actual values and two key figures ready to insert plan values. In rows I have 3 charcteristics (costcenter and two others). In query restriction I using a variable for costcenter.
When the query is restricted to costcenter 111 everything is ok - there are actual values in rows and query is ready for planning.
But when I chage query restriction for two single valeues (111 and 222) actual values for costcenter 111 disappearing, there are actual values for costcenter 222 only and query is still ready for planning.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Maciej

    Hi,
Variable contains both values (111 and 222). Both costcenters are displayed on report but one of them (111) without values in actual key figures. If query is restricted only to 111 costcener actual valuas are displayed.

  • Copying Actual data to Plan (T-Code KP98)

    Hi Guys,
I am Copying actual data posted in 'X' cost center with version '0' to 'Y' cost center with version '1' through t-code KP98.
While copying I am selecting only Primary costs and Activity quantities.
I am able to execute the transaction witout any errors and it is giving a log that 'X' no. of records are copied, which is perfect.
But the problem is when I verify data in target cost center i.e. in 'Y' cost center it is showing some different values.
The target values are not reconciling with source values. It is copying activity quantities perfectly but actual costs it is giving some wrong values. I don't know from where it is getting those values.
Can any one help me in this?
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi
You can't transfer actual of one cost center to plan values of another cost center using KP98. You can transfer actual of the same cost center to plan for the same cost center for different period.
You can transfer plan of one cost center to plan of another cost center through KP97.

  • Reporting for PIRs: actual consumption against plan

    Hi all,
can you recommend what standard reports can show actual consumption figures against plan in PIRs. Collective report is needed, looks like rows with columns for material code, plan figure, consumed figure and this is for given periods. And plan figure should be quantitiy without reduction quantities (that is initial quantitiy in PIR).
    Thanks in advance!

    Vivek wrote:
I would still suggest, use the report (shouldn't take more than 30 mins. of your time) & it would greatly help in your 'estimation effort'.
    Thank you for your suggestion.
I can start this transaction (MD73) and see some figures, but cannot make GI due to some reasons in existing environment (migo goes into dump). That is why I'm asking about reduction, what results will be showm by this report - planned figures as originally planned or reduced ones after issuing.

  • Report for extracting the actual and planned cost from service orders

    HI all
we are creating a report in BI for Module - Customer service . LIke , the report is all about how many complaints created in the system and how many completed technically and what is the cost involved for each complaint .
Like we want the comparision between the planned cost and the actual cost .
Now to give the logic to the BI Team for planned cost and actual cost , please suggest the flow of logic or table flow to arrive the planned and actual cost
    thanks in advance

    Hi Marthand,
I am not sure which datasource your are using. In this case, you can use the 0VALUETYPE to differencitae between th eplan and actuals. Normally Plan which is budget will have value 050 and for actuals will have 010. For costs, you will have one key figure and at the reporting level, you will have the costs restricted by the value type for plan and actual to make comparisons.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to differentiate b/w Plan and actual data

    Hi,
How to differentiate b/w plan nad actual data.
Is that value type or Version InfoObject??
What should be the value for that and how it gets populated ??
    Regards,

    Hello Tapan,
The plan and actual data is differentiated on the basis of value of infoobject 0VTYPE. Value 10 is for actual. Different plan versions can be differentiated by different values of infoobject 0VERSION.
These values are populated when actual data is loaded or plan data is entered.
    Hope it helps.

  • How Distinguish planning data and Actual data in a Planning cube

    Hi,
I want to dispaly planning data & actaul data in a query how can i do it?
in my query it is showing all the requests it is not distinguishing.

Well use infoobject 0VTYPE for actual and plan differentiation
and 0VERSION to categorise which version of Plan data it is,typically you might have different planning versions .
    Example
    0VTYPE = 10 actual
    0VTYPE = 20  plan
    0VERSION = 001
    0VERSION = 002
    0VERSION = 003
Business decides which 0version value to be taken as final planning version once freezed.0VTYPE = 10 for actuals is always one ,it do not have 0VERSION to be taken in to account.
    Hope it Helps
