Io exception when attempt to connect to servlet
java.io.IOException: Persistent connection dropped after first chunk sent, cannot retryback from buy
There was no stack or trace of the exception.
I try to post some stuff to the servlet to retrieve information. Sometime it works just well but sometimes it doesnt work at all and just give me the above Exception.
Could anyone help me please!

I have an Oracle 10g DB configured to listen via TCPS. I am able to tnsping and sql+ into the DB just fine. However, when attempting to connect via SQL Developer, I get the following error:

I've verified that the appropriate JAR files are in place in the jlib directory.
Any advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If your connection entry is unusual you could try these simple things that may cause variation/different code paths:
1/ORACLE_HOME being set /unset by for example a bat script before launching sqldeveloper [see in sqldeveloper help/about/properties/ oracle.home and jdbc.library to see what oracle is using]
(you could be using sqldeveloper or other oracle install jdbc)
2/Tools/preferences/database/Advanced Parameters/Use oci thick driver set/unset
(you could be using 'pure' jdbc thin or 'mixture of c & java' ie. thick oci driver using another Oracle Home or instant client)
3/use Connection type=advanced then you can enter a fancy description (these descriptions are simple but you could have load balancing for example):

I am getting the following error message while trying to configure a database for a Reporting Service Server. Both SQL Server and Reporting server are 2012 named instances. I have 2014 instances as well on the same server.

server and create a new database. Also please check if the Reporting Services Windows services is working properly.

The Microsoft XPS Document Writer driver has no problem processing multiple copies. This was not a problem in previous versions of Crystal Reports. Caused error -3256 when attempting to connect to external speakers.

MarcusAfter reading this discussion thread, I've seemed to have solved the problem for myself. I'm using the Trend Micro PC-Cillin Firewall. I disabled it and the airtunes worked. So, I went into the firewall settings. There's the ability to edit the profile and add to an exceptions list. You select the executable program, select incoming or outgoing, I accepted the other default settings and it worked.

Try installing Windows 2012 Live Essentials here.
You will have to set up your Pop 3 or IMAP email account after installing the updated version per above.
Are you using an Internet Service Provider Email account or a cloud based (IMAP) Email account?
Pop 3 accounts will require incoming and outgoing server addresses and any additional security settings required by your ISP. If you don't have the required settings for Pop 3 you will have to contact your ISP for those.

(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

We have upgraded to fro m 3.0.8 portal 3.0.9.8.2 9iAS 1.0.2.2 on database 8.1.7
the system is very fast and run for sometime but after a while we see the following errors in Jserv.log file.
this error causes the whole system to hang and we have to restart apache/jserv.
Any light on this issue will be helpful and very much appreciated.

TS1398 ip address changes when attempting to connect to wi fi
when attempting to connect to my wi fi it continually clocks and the IP address changes
I found out...Here's the thing: I had user credentials stored when updating to Win10. I removed this setting and logged in with Client with username and pwd, connection ok. I then went back and selected store credentials, and this time everything went well. So apparently it is a problem connecting with stored credentials after a Win10 upgrade. Or maybe it's just me.

Login exception when attempting to login to amconsole or portal
Has anyone come across this before? When attempting to login to the amconsole or the portal, using known good credentials, from a browser not running on the server itself I get the below error. If I try to login to either from a browser running localy on the server all is well. Anyone any ideas?

i have define in oracle user that i could have max 10 sessions at the same time.
I have jdbc datasource & connection pool defined at glassfish server(JSF application).
now, if in application is too many queries to the database then i have error: nullpointer exception - becouse when i try to do:

ITunes freezes when attempting to connect to a new ATV
Hello,
So I have an apple tv that my MBP is sync'd to in my room. I can also stream to my apple tv no problem. Over thanksgiving I was at my brothers, and I attempted to connect to my itunes on his ATV, over his wireless network. I typed in the passcode, got the "Loading Ben's Library" message on the tv, and then iTunes would just freeze up and have to be forced quit. I tried again and again, nothing doing.
Then I was at my neighbors in the next apartment over - we share a wireless network, and I tried to setup my MBP to stream to his ATV. The same thing happened. It looked like it would work, only to freeze up again and again.
I'm running Leopard. The routers have always been airport extremes. All software updates have been done all around.
Any ideas?

BenI had a similar experience and found patience to be the answer. For some reason it took 5-10 minutes for my Apple TV to get past the "Loading Mike's Media" message. In the meantime my iTunes was unresponsive. My library is not exceptionally large (about 160gb with 57 movies and 67 TV shows).
After that initial long wait, I tried switching back and forth between Apple TV as the source and my iTunes as the source. Each subsequent reconnect to iTunes only took about 40 seconds.
I have no idea why it takes so long. I did a little probing, and iTunes was neither using much CPU nor doing much I/O during the long wait. Quite odd. -
How do i clear network error 3212 when attempting to connect
I just downloaded iTunes to my new laptop with windows 7. when I attempt to connect to iStore or login. i get a newwork error 3212 saying I have a netowork error and need to establish a connection. I definately have connectivity.

Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -

I have a 20 GB color display Ipod that I am connecting to an IBook (the white one- G3). I keep getting a error -36 when attempting to "sync" my ipod. I have checked my hard drive for error and I restored my ipod to the original settings. How can I "sync" my ipod so that all my music in itunes gets transfered???? Please help!!!!
