Io7: cannot forward pictures sent through messaging.

I recently updated to the ios7, but I cannot forward a picture that was sent to me to another person via message. The picture doesn't send. I have to save the pic to my camera roll, open up the conversation or create a new message for the person I wish to send it to, and then add/attach the photo like that. Anyone else getting this glitch?

So I see what you mean by the arrow pointed up--so does that mean that I don't have the ability to share the picture? Seems silly since I can just copy it or save it to my camera roll and then send it out to whomever I want...

Cannot receive pictures sent through text

I was able to receive pictures sent through text up until two days ago. The first time I couldn't receive pictures I went to the hub settings -> display and actions --> turned on "download images automatically" and it worked.
Now I just get "You have a message awaiting retrieval. Click the button below to download it" i can click on "download now" 10 times and it won't do anything.
Help!

Because picture messages are sent via the MMS service, I would recommend contacting your wireless network provider to ensure they are not having any issues with MMS or your account in general.

Not sure if this is a mac issue or yahoo issue. I cannot veiw pictures sent through email from a friends ipad.

I am having trouble viewing pictures through e-mails sent from a friends ipad to my imac. Where picture should be is a blue ? mark. Can anyone help.

Are you really using a G3, if so you're on the wrong forum. This forum is for Intel based machines. If you have updated you may want to update your profile, here is a link to tips on how to do that: Profile Update
However regardng the photo's you aren't providing any infomraiton, such as what mail tool is being used. Please provide more details and someone may be able to help you out. If you have a newer iMac remember OS X no longer has Flash installed so you may need to go to Adobe's website and download Flash..

Control geotag info on photos sent through Messages?

Is there any way to turn off geotagging information that is attached to photos sent through Messages? I would think Apple would make it easier to disable, but I can't find specific controls in either iOS or Mountain Lion.

I am not aware that Messages on the Mac adds Geotagging to pics that are sent as or in iMessages to iPhones or other Messages users.
On the Mac end pics in iPhoto would have to have them Removed before you sent them in any sort of Messaging.
On Checking iPhone Photos imported via PhotoStream and by regular importing I see no geotag info listed in the info.
On Checking the iPhone in Settings > Privacy I have no notifications that any apps have requested info about the pics. (Even when I deliberately sent a Pic taken on the iPhone to Messages on the Mac)
I also opened the Pic in Preview from the iMessage in Messages on the Mac and looked under the Tools Menu > Inspector and at the Exif info and found nothing about any location info.
I am sure there is probably a way to geotag the iPhone photos as they are taken but I could not find any such setting in a quick review of the settings.
I am presuming these are Photos that have already been tagged
The Photo app on the iPhone offers no editing of any tagging.
On the Mac it would have to be done before the picture(s) were chosen.

As a Test:
In bold and all
Try repair the main Library:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Cannot send pictures via text message since software update...HELP!!!!

Although I am a BIG FAN of BB Torch (have had several), BUT since it was discontinued, I had no choice but to "up grade" to BB Z10...IT was working just fine...NOT as good as the Torch though, but I was getting use to it...TILL the new software came along last week (Tuesday), so after doing just that, up dating my phone, I saw that I was NOT able to send or receive pictures via text message. I did called ATT, deleted everything, resintalled my data/information...and STILL nothing.
I "google" the problem, and was sooooo SAD to find out that I was NOT the only one, and that THIS problem is AN OLD ONE (2013), but BB has done nothing to fix it.
I did read on of the technical support answers and followed every single step, but STILL NOTHING, NADA...no able to send neither receive pictures...PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Cannot download pictures get error message

when trying to download pictures I get an error message. The Ipod "bill's ipod" cannot be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to. Am i doing something wrong or is there somethig wrong with my ipod?

It sounds like your iPhoto Advanced preferences are set to not copy photos during import, i.e. a Referenced library:
Check your Advanced preferences to see if that's the case. If it is the best solution would be to select the checkbox to copy the photos and reimport the photos from the flash drive. Then check the new import. It it was OK you can delete the previous event with the "missing" photos.

Cannot forward pictures.

Hi,
Ever since being transferred from BT Yahoo Mail to BT Mail I have been unable to send pictures in forwarded emails. The text is there but the pictures are just represented by boxes. I can copy and paste the email and then compose it as a new email with no problem.
There is no problem if I use Windows Mail but if I'm on another computer that is not an option.
It's not a browser problem as it happens with IE, Firefox and Chrome. Also I have another secondary web mail provider and have no problem with that.
I have contacted BT twice but they have been unable to offer any help. I hope someone here may be able to.

Thanks for posting. Are you able to send the pictures as an attachment? Is the problem only when you're forwarding the picture or when you're creating the email? Are you seeing any error messages? Give us as much detail as possible and we'll try to help.

Recipients cannot open files sent through Adobe Send. There was no problem with Adobe send Now. They see a blank page only! Please help!

What type of file are you sending?
When you download the file yourself, is it blank?
Are all recipients having the same problem?
Do the recipients get a Preview of the file?
Are they seeing the blank document as a Preview as well as after downloading?

Why can't I print pictures sent through yahoo email.

I have received pictures of family members through yahoo email but can't print them out. When I try, It it shows as symbles that are un recognizable. I would love to know how to get my pictures to print. When I locate my picture on the computer, It shows as a firefox logo and won't open up as the picture I saved.

There have been many reports of problems with photos in texts/iMessages lately on this board and I'm wondering if this is related. Some people are unable to send and some are unable to receive. I don't know of a fix or what the problem is, but it just may be a matter of waiting until the problem is fixed on the other end. Sorry...
