IO7 removed my contacts from Outlook 2007

After updating to the iO7, my contacts are all now showing up as "in icloud".  When I create a new email, all of my contacts are gone from the drop down boxes and I can not select ANY of my contacts to add to the "To:" or "CC:" at all.
How do I fix this issue????
I am running Windows 7 Professional with Windows Office 2007 - Outlook 2007.
Thanks,

To back up. if you still want V24 in case the newest does not work it is here http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/24.8.0/win32/en-GB/
Note the win and en_GB in the link hence the need for that information to point you to the right download. It is however a public FTP server, so your welcome to look around if you want to.

    Hi,
You can import your contacts from your Outlook using iTunes. Connect yout iPhone / iPad to iTunes, then set sync contacts with outlook option. Then Sync your device.
Note: Your existing contacts may get replaced if you don't read the options carefully.

  • Sync contacts from outlook 2007 to gmail problem

Hello everybody! I have an issue when I use the sync zone in order to sync contacts from outlook 2007 to gmail with pc companion 2.10.065
The problem is that some certain fields (like "work 2" number) do not sync at all.
Other fields (like the "webpage" field) sync on some contacts and do not sync on some other contacts.
Is there a workaround on that?

I have just tested this and it seems just as you say that any second number of the same category won't be synced. I think this is a limitation at Google not matching/supporting the exact same PIM filed's.
However I could not replicate the problem with the web page field.

  • Moving contacts from Outlook 2007 to Mac Address Book

    Hello all,
I've tried to email VCard attachments of contacts from an Outlook 2007 / Exchange Server account so I can import them into my MAC Address Book. When I look at my sent folder in Outlook, the attachment shows a VCF attachment. When I pick up the email on my MAC using Mail, the attachment always comes back as WinMail.dat which the Address Book doesn't recognize.
Furthermore, I've tried sending the VCard to a Yahoo email address and download the attachment. That worked fine.
Was wondering if someone could help me isolate where the issue may be. Thanks.

If Outlook Express provides for exporting contacts in vCard format, you can send all contacts as vCard attachments to a message sent to an email account you access with the Mail.app. Save the vCard attachments from the message to a created folder on the Desktop and then use the Address Book import feature selecting vCards.
If OE does not provide for exporting contacts in vCard format, it should provide for exporting contacts as a tab-delimited text file.
The Tiger Address Book includes a Text File import selection/option.

  • Updates to contacts from outlook 2007 on Iphones and Ipad

Hello... I was wondering if anyone else is having issues finding a solution to this problem.  I work for a large distribution company and I am responsible for making sure all the mobile equipment is up to date with the latest contact information from Outlook.  We do not have an exchange server and therefore contacts are not automatically updated when a change is made in Outlook.  Right now I manage the list from my main PC and then the list is then updated manually onto each and every device (we have almost 300 devices).  I would like to be able to manage these updates remotely if possible.  Does anyone know of a program that works with Apple Iphones and Ipads?  We have tried many different types of programs (including icloud) and our mobile service provider has also made attemps to help us with this issue.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have google sync installed for your contacts?  If you do, IT may be what is doubling your contacts!  I run 2000, not 2007, but I had a similar problim.
AND each time I tried to correct any addresses Google thoguht they were new and recoppied the whole address book again!  Went for 700 contacts to over 8000 before I got it figured out

  • TS3999 Hoe do I delete the iCloud Calendar from Outlook 2007?

I am having an issue with iCloud Calandar, and want to remove it (only) from Outlook 2007.  I want all other iCloud hooks (contacts, notes) to stay.  However, when I right click on the iCloud calander in Outlook 2007, the Delete calandar option is greyed out.
    How can I delete this?

Go to your Mail in Outlook and below, on the left side of the screen, you should see iCloud. Right click on that and select either Delete or Remove, depending on how your version of Outlook has it. That removes all iCloud from Outlook, including the calendar.

  • W can I bring over my contact Categories from Outlook 2007 to my iphone 4s?

How can I bring over all of my contact Categories from Outlook 2007 to my 4s iPhone?  All of my contacts have synced, but I have nearly 1500 business contacts and need to be able to filter them down by Categories as I do in Outlook.  Is there a way to do this or an app?  I am coming to the iPhone from a Windows Mobile platform that automatically brought the categories from Outlook to that smartphone.

Sync old iPhone 3G to iTunes on your computer. Then connect new iPhone 4S to computer and Restore from Back-Up of the 3G. This command can be found, on Windows you right mouse click on iPhone name in left column of iTunes, on Mac Option click on iPhone name in left column of iTunes.

  • Moving contacts and calendar entries from Outlook 2007 to iphone

Don't know what happended - after installing newest update today - I do not have any contacts or calendar information on my iphone. I have had no problems for the last two months - now nothing. How can I get my contacts and calendar information back to my iphone from outlook 2007?

In my case, I am sure that everything is set up properly. My calendar is still synching just fine, but I have NO contacts on my iPhone any longer. They are still in Outlook but just will not synch to my iPhone.
I have tried resetting the sync history, restoring the iPhone back to scratch, creating a new Outlook profile, and even trying to synch my Outlook contacts from a different user account on my PC. None of these things have worked. I was synching just fine until the update but not anymore, and I am starting to get really angry....

  • No sync with iTunes 10 after upgrade from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010

I seem to have more or less the same problem as described in the archived thread http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=12179724
With Windows 7 x64, Office 2007 and iTunes 10, syncing worked fine, but after an upgrade to Office 2010 (x86), iTunes acts as if it syncs (no error messages), but nothing happens. Calendar or contact items that I have changed on either the phone or the computer since the last truly successful sync are not transferred.
Has anyone found a solution for this?

    a) refer to Jason's 12/14 post, for troubleshooting articles related to "Click" version, and general Apple troubleshooting...(you may have multiple problems, all of which need to be solved in order)...and yes, 12/15 posting - direct to an Exchange account, if available - iPhone/iPad works better than any other mobile device I have ever used against an Exchange Server...(have not tried WinMobile7, which should work great also...but BB, Droids, and Palms have...issues/quirks usually necessitating a 3rd-party App)...
    b) Outlook 2010 settings needed for me to get Contact (and probably Cal) sync:
    1) I had 2 profiles, with Outlook set to Choose Profile on startup...apparently needed to change to "Always Use This Profile" setting, as it appears that iTunes is not Outlook multi-profile aware.
    2) under that [now default] profile, I had multiple POP accounts...it appears that iTunes is only going to work with the contacts/calendar from the account designated as the Default Data File, under Account-->Settings (a single PST file)
    3) under Account-->Settings, a tab called Address Books - I had, besides the Outlook Address Book, an entry called "Mobile Address Book", most likely put there by my [retired] Windows Mobile phone, prior to switch to iPhone...I removed that entry.
    4) restarted Outlook, restarted iTunes, Devices-->iPhone-->Info now sees Outlook-specific info...my contacts synced; categories on contacts from Outlook did not carry over, however, if, in Outlook, I create sub-folders of Contacts, move categorized to their own named sub-folder, these sub-folders DO sync individually on the iPhone, showing as "Groups".
YMMV...but those are the changes I had to put into place to get my Contacts to sync.
...still need to figure out how to control the "order" of them...the Outlook "File As" setting is not being utilized, looks like Last Name is the only control...not perfect, but I will deal with it...until apple figures out a way to use Company as a grouping option.
    Windows 7 (x64), Outlook 2010 (x32), iTunes 10.1.2.17, iPhone iOS 4.2.6
BTW - another option may be CompanionLink (.com), for business users. (not a recommendation, but I do have some familiarity using it, with Blackberry and Droid platforms)

  • "An error occurred sending the command to the application" When trying to open excel document from outlook 2007

Error message "An error occurred sending the command to the application" When trying to open excel document from outlook 2007.
    OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
If I save the document then it opens fine, messing with default file associations does not resolve this problem, I've googled for ir it and some suggest unticking compatibility mode or "run as admin" for excel application, neither is selected in my case.
Outlook is configured to run as remote application from remoteApp server, this error is only occurring for one user, for others excel documents open just fine.

    Hi
    Thank you for using
Microsoft Office for IT Professionals Forums.
From your description, we can Create a trusted location follow these steps
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Excel Options.
Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click
    Trusted Locations.
If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check
    box.
    Click Add new location.
IMPORTANT   We recommended that you don't make your entire
Documents or My Documents folder a trusted location. Doing so creates a larger target for a hacker to potentially exploit and increases your security risk. Create a subfolder within Documents or My Documents, and make only that folder a trusted location.
In the Path box, type the name of the folder that you want to use as a trusted location, or click Browse to
    locate the folder.
If you want to include subfolders as trusted locations, select the
Subfolders of this location are also trusted check box.
In the Description box, type what you want to describe the purpose of the trusted location.
    Click OK.
