Hi team,
I have succesfully set up both the emc cloud and my own through static ip but even though I can acess the drive page and exchange files remotely without any issue (other than being ridiculously slow) I cannot open open the apps like transmission or anything. I can only open the apps when I am connected locally. Is that normal? I would like to set torrents remotely. thanks

Answer: to access transmission through the cloud port 9091 needs to be forwarded too

Have you tried a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release?

Loaded Yosemeti, cannot access App Store nor iBook Cannot sign out from store drop down menu , app crashes and will contact Apple.

I am trying to access App World with my playbook. I do not have wifii but have successfully connected to the internet using the blackberry bridge and tethering feature.
My smart phone - the bold 9000 - is tethered to the playbook; I can access app world from my phone;
My phone is on a 3G network.
The message I get is that I am not connected via Wifii and cannot access app world. But, if I can access the internet, why can't I access app world?

BlackBerry Playbook requires a Wi-Fi connection to use BlackBerry App World.

I have a photosmart 7520. I just got it a few days ago and trying to figure it out. I am coming accross this message: The apps content is updating. You cannot access apps now. Please try later.
It happens when I tap onto the "Get More", "Quick Form", "Dreamwork", Calendar" icon on the front of my printer panel.
What am I doing wrong?
Yes, I have you WiFi setup and tried ePrint via my iPhone. Everything works there.
I am using a Mac.

I suggest to setup a static I.P address on the printer regarding the proxy / app updating issue on the Photosmart 7520. Please follow the out lined steps in this Thread (ignore the title of the Thread) : Efax 7510 still won't work after turning off/on ePrint several times.
Let me know if the static I.P setting help you out at all.

Cannot access app

I downnloaded an app from the app store and it showed a little cloud, I presume it was sent to icloud however I cannot access the app on the ipad and when I go to the icloud account on my PC it does not show up there either, I tried to re download from app store but it only shows the little cloud icon and I cannot open it. Any suggestions please? And I tried syncing from PC but no go. Is there a way of just selecting 1 app from library on PC and transfer it to ipad? This is driving e crazy trying to find it.

Try it again, but don't tap on the circle. I think that you are pausing the download. When you tap the cloud icon - which is the download icon, you will see the circle with the square inside it. That's normal and expected behavior. The circle will become bolder around the circumference as the app continues to download.

Cannot access App Store after upgrading to Mountain Lion

Hi all - hope someone can help. I have a new Macbook Air and upgraded recently to Mountain Lion. Since then I cannot access the App Store. Error message is
'Cannot verify a secure connection to App Store, continue? ' If I continue a series of flashing pages occurs. I have tried changing the date as some responses suggest but nothing seems to work. I would be so grateful to fix this as I am keen to download final cut pro x to my new machine.

Help! I cannot solve the problem accessing App Store after upgrading my iPad2 to iOS 5 since 15oct2011. When attempting to upgrade for example Viber app I get msg "Your Apple ID has been disabled." Luna: Cannot access marketplace through proxy (Kepler works)

I just tried to upgrade my eclipse to Luna from Kepler, but I cannot access the Eclipse Marketplace or any update site in Luna. I'm behind a proxy (that man-in-the-middles ssl-connections to scan the communication for viruses).
In Kepler it works on the same machine with the "Native" network Provider (Preferences -> General -> Network Connection).
Luna with "Native" outputs the following error Information when trying to open the Eclipse Marketplace:

The "Network Connection" configuration is identical between Luna and Kepler (you can't change the Native provider anyway). I also tried the "Manual" provider with specifying my login details for authentication, but it doesn't work (doesn't work in Kepler as well). The "Direct" provider fails to resolve hostnames, as expected.
In Luna's eclipse.ini I use the same truststore configuration as in Kepler and I copied the truststore.jks into Luna's root directory:

I had a similar problem.
I saw somewhere that you should clear SOCKS entry in Network connections and be in manual Active Provider.
Then restart Eclipse to apply changes.
It worked for me.

I am unable to access app's such as pages, facebook amongst others, any ideads, it loads but shuts straight down before bringing up anything?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Iphone4 wont connect to home wifi connects to neighbors..others iphones ipads connect to this wifi cannot change it and cannot access apps store. Does nor request password just "cannot access"

Iphone 4 wont connect to home wifi but connects to neighbors open wifi. Family members with iphones can connect to the wifi automatically and Mac compiuter in home connects to this wifi and this iphone did connect automaticcally until a few weeks ago. Does not request password when try to connect to own wifi..just says "cant access.". Also cant access the Apple apps store to purchase apps but all other function operate normally. Apple store tech says nothing wrong with phone. It connected to their wifi and coud access apps store from their wifi. This iphone belongs to son who is autistic. I am mother trying to resolve this issue and very frustrated. Have reset router but no change.

Based on the symptoms, your phone is fine, and the Router is the problem. Try http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398. Specifically the "forget this network" step. I would also consider resetting the wifi network password. Sometimes that will allow a connection.
