  • Videos from purchased CD won't download properly - Errors 3159 or 3250

I bought and downloaded Beck's new CD. Several videos were part of the package but none of them downloaded. Each had either of the two following Errors: 3159 or 3250. How do I get them to download properly without repurchasing the entire thing...which I'm not about to do? Btw, I'm using the latest, updated version of iTunes.
    Thanks for the help.
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

I had the exact same problem with the exact same CD. It successfully downloaded 3 of the songs/videos, and charged me for the whole CD...and I too had errors for most of them.
Please help -- because I also do not want to buy the CD again!

  • Loops and certain instruments won't download properly

The loops won't don't download as well as certain instruments.  Any help?

This is the WMP plugin: np-mswmp , so you have it.
You may be missing a codec to play that content or some extension or security software is blocking that content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]

  • Videos won't download properly from my digital camera

I recently bought a 7.2 megapixel digital camera and on any of the video settings that I record a video, the videos don't import properly into iPhoto. The thumbnail in iPhoto is just a black square and it shows the length of the video in seconds. when I click on it to play in quicktime, all i see is a white screen. In the Finder, the thumbnail is a white box. In QuickTime, the sound works fine, just no images. Any ideas???

    Hi Mich 64elle,
check your camera specs and see what the file type is of the video clips.
How long are your video clips?
Have you tried using Image Capture and see if the clips download correctly?
Using Image Capture to download images and video clips:
Open up Image Capture which is found in the Applications folder.
When it is opened, go to Image Capture/Preferences
    Under the General button choose
Camera: When a camera is connected, open Image Capture.
The next time you connect your camera Image Capture will open.
In the window that opens you will see an Options button. Click on that button to set your options.
To find out more about Image Capture (it can do a lot more) Click on Help in the menu bar when Image Capture is open.
iPhoto: How to Change the "Open Automatically" Preference
I just got a new Canon S2 IS. It can take a video for as long as you have a card that can hold it. I don't use iPhoto to download from from camera. I use Image Capture and have no problems. The file type of the videos is AVI

  • My iPhone 4s with iOS 6 won't sync properly since updating my Mac to OSX 10.9?

Hi. I've kept my iPhone 4s using iOS 6, but I upgraded my iMac to OSX 10.9 yesterday and now it's not syncing properly. Can anyone help? Previously in iTunes I'm sure there was a radial button to sync calendars & contacts etc, but I can't see it now.

    Hi blu72,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  With OS X Mavericks, you can sync your contacts and calendars with your devices using iCloud:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Sync contacts, calendars, and other info with iPod, iPhone, or iPad
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12117
If you use OS X Mavericks v.10.9 or later, your contacts, calendars, and other info are updated on your computers and iOS devices via iCloud. For more information, see iCloud Help at icloud.com.
    Take care,

  • IOS 7 won't download on iPhone 5.

  • Ios 8 won't download on my iphone 5

So, I ended up backing up my phone and tried to restore it the day ios 8 came out.  Now when I try to restore it, in the past 5 days,  the download to update my phone times out after 5 minutes and fails.  Keep in mind I am doing this through iTunes not cloud.  At first I thought the apple servers were just overloaded but now after 5 days, I am still having this issue.  My friends have no problem downloading the update so I am wondering if its just me or if there is a way around it.  I tried to manually download the update from apple on my computer but this issue is still occurring where it just times out and the download fails.

    Hi WaltfromSA,
It is not clear from your post whether you are attempting to install the iOS 8.0.2 from iTunes or over the air. If doing over the air I would suggest trying it using iTunes from your computer. See this article -
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch iOS software
If you are trying to update using iTunes already, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • V.4.2 won't download properly

Hello - Just tried to download the Desktop Manager 4.2 for my Pearl several times and the only thing that downloads is the ReadMe. I also Removed the program and tried again, and still no icon appears on desktop, and when you click on the program in program files, only the Readme is there, not the program. Any ideas? Thanks!

Downloads that are downloaded via a redirection service (And thus, never have a time remaining) are having trouble starting on the newest version of Firefox/redesign (29.0)
I can't give the web address to such a file however.

They will start downloading after a considerable amount of idle time however.

I deleted my realmedia .plist, which perhaps wasn't a good idea, and now when i go this website: http://www.kcm.org/media/webcasts/index.php , I'm unable to download the mp3s from it, whereas before Safari just opened up the download window, downloaded the file and I went on my merry wey, now it opens a new window, plays the file if I want, but I can't save the thing.
How do I reset Safari to download the way it originally did?

  • ITUNES WON'T DOWNLOAD PROPERLY!

Download appears to work until I try and open ITunes on the desk top... it just stalls. Have re-installed/uninstalled now five times same thing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks!

not often I reply to my own posts lol
After trying many different fixes, I stumbled across this post on another board
In Windows, some background processes can cause issues for other programs and processes. These conflicts can prevent applications such as iTunes and QuickTime Player from working correctly, opening, or even installing. You might be able to resolve these conflicts by disabling some items using the System Configuration Utility (MSCONFIG) in Windows XP. This utility is not included with Windows 2000.
Important: Disabling third-party System Services and Startup Items can prevent some software or OEM hardware on your computer from working correctly. For example, this can affect the CD/DVD control buttons on portable computers.
    1. On the Start menu, click Run. A Run window (command prompt) appears.
    2. Type msconfig in the Open field and click OK. The System Configuration Utility opens.
    3. Click the General tab.
    4. Select the "Selective Startup" option.
    5. Deselect the "Load Startup Items" checkbox.
    6. Click the Startup tab.
    7. Select the "iTunesHelper" and "qttask" checkboxes in the list.
    8. Click the Services tab.
    9. Make sure that "Hide All Microsoft Services" is selected.
    10. Click Disable All.
    11. Select the iPodService checkbox in the list.
    12. Click OK.
    13. Click Restart.
If following these steps resolves the issue, you may want to use the System Configuration Utility to turn on the third-party System Services and Startup Items one or a few at a time (restarting your computer after turning on the item or items) to identify which System Service or Startup Item is causing the conflict. You can turn all of them back on by selecting the Normal Startup option under the General tab of the System Configuration Utility window, but please note that this may cause the issue to recur.
I tried that too and of course it did not work either.
I fumbled about for a while and then I accidnetally got it to work.
This is as close as I can reconstruct what I did; I hope it helps.
I have NIS 2005. I also installed the QT standalone player as suggested elsewhere on these forums.
Then, I followed the magical post by Lorraine, to no avail.
Then, I tried the above steps right after that.
    Again, it did not work, however, after that failed,this is what I did do;
In the above suggestion, I followed steps 1-4, skipped step 5.
In step 7, I deselected everything, including ituneshelper and qttask.
    Then I followed steps 8-13
Once the pc was fired up again, I started Itunes with no problem. I was then able to start NIS via a shortcut icon on the desktop or via the start menu.
Once I tried to connectthe ipod with itunes shut down, itunes didnt come up, so I had to redo all those steps again. This time, I connected the ipod while itunes was open and it worked.
I have restarted a couple of times since, and while I had to repeat the steps once, I cannot remember what I did,but I think it was because I had installed videora after I had input the fix.
All seems to work ok now.
Believe me, I know how frustrating it is. I was about to dump the Ipod and go back to my Rio player.
I hope this can be somewhat helpful.
